"Evie!" Tamari called out to her frat sister trying to sneak off to the back of the living room nearest the speakers. She looked over the
finly dressed frat girl. She didn't dress like a frat girl, let a lone act like one. She was one of those girls that was in the frat because she needed a group to connect her and they needed her good looks and gpa. "Now now tonight is a night for socializing not for loosing yourself in the music. These are the type of events you have to meet people at." she said and grabbed Evelynn's arm in hers walking with her into the kitchen.
Evelynn smiled at her with that, if you weren't right I would complain, look that made Tamari laugh tossing her golden hair back. Evelynn shook her smart curls that shaped her face and leaned against the sink where all the action was as they waited for drinks to be made and handed out with little cherries plopped in by their friendly cool chemistry geeks who's goal was to get every girl in the house drunk enough to sleep with. It worked more than not for a lot of them. Evelynn laughed as one of the guys hit on her as he handed his drink to her. She smiled gently as if trying to let him down gently but he just grinned completely unhindered knowing she would be back for a drink and he had his eye on her.
Evelynn pointed outside needing the air to clear her head as the bodies swarmed around her. She slipped through the crowds almost without incident where she bumped into some football jock and apologized turning and grinning some napkins cleaning off her hand and then looked up and around searching for Tamari. Her eyes passed over the crowd without much notice when something tugged at her mind and she looked deeper into the crowd of people her smokey eyes connecting with another pair of intense eyes across the room. She inhaled a shutter moving through her body before she felt entirely relaxed like her spirit had sighed and was now content.
Her eyebrows knitted together trying to understand what just happened and looked down a moment feeling suddenly overwhelmed at the feeling. Evelynn looked back up searching the crowd more franticly for those eyes that had pierced something inside of her she hadn't known existed but they where gone. She jumped a little as Tamari placed a hand on her arm smiling. "Hey come on!" she yelled over the noise. Evelynn nodded and smiled apologetically before moving towards the back doors with her looking back over the crowd one last time to try and find
him.
