Winston leaned back against the wall of the living room, his eyes scanning through the crowd. It was another Saturday night and he was at another frat party. This was quickly becoming a weekly occurrence for him. A way of staying out all night without it being suspicious. After all, humans did find it rather odd if you didn't sleep for days on end. It wasn't like he needed all that much of it - or at all.

Though he was becoming a bit bored with the practice. Parties were fun but frat parties tended to be very similar. They were at a house, drinking games in the backyard, dancing in the living room, drinks and food in the kitchen. The humans would run around the house, drunk out of their minds doing stupid shit and getting sick. And, of course, there were those who would find places to hide to have sex in. He wanted to go to a vampiric party...None that was a Hell of a time.

Winston had considered skipping out this weekend but this was going to be a major party. One of the biggest frats on campus throwing their blow out party of the year. Now this was something Winston knew not to miss. This was not going to be just any regular Saturday night. And that was already clear by the fire dancers that were in the backyard already. He was curious to see what else would come their way.

After a moment, Winston pushed himself off of the wall and headed to the kitchen. Another drink was in order.

"Evie!" Tamari called out to her frat sister trying to sneak off to the back of the living room nearest the speakers. She looked over the finly dressed frat girl. She didn't dress like a frat girl, let a lone act like one. She was one of those girls that was in the frat because she needed a group to connect her and they needed her good looks and gpa. "Now now tonight is a night for socializing not for loosing yourself in the music. These are the type of events you have to meet people at." she said and grabbed Evelynn's arm in hers walking with her into the kitchen.

Evelynn smiled at her with that, if you weren't right I would complain, look that made Tamari laugh tossing her golden hair back. Evelynn shook her smart curls that shaped her face and leaned against the sink where all the action was as they waited for drinks to be made and handed out with little cherries plopped in by their friendly cool chemistry geeks who's goal was to get every girl in the house drunk enough to sleep with. It worked more than not for a lot of them. Evelynn laughed as one of the guys hit on her as he handed his drink to her. She smiled gently as if trying to let him down gently but he just grinned completely unhindered knowing she would be back for a drink and he had his eye on her.

Evelynn pointed outside needing the air to clear her head as the bodies swarmed around her. She slipped through the crowds almost without incident where she bumped into some football jock and apologized turning and grinning some napkins cleaning off her hand and then looked up and around searching for Tamari. Her eyes passed over the crowd without much notice when something tugged at her mind and she looked deeper into the crowd of people her smokey eyes connecting with another pair of intense eyes across the room. She inhaled a shutter moving through her body before she felt entirely relaxed like her spirit had sighed and was now content.

Her eyebrows knitted together trying to understand what just happened and looked down a moment feeling suddenly overwhelmed at the feeling. Evelynn looked back up searching the crowd more franticly for those eyes that had pierced something inside of her she hadn't known existed but they where gone. She jumped a little as Tamari placed a hand on her arm smiling. "Hey come on!" she yelled over the noise. Evelynn nodded and smiled apologetically before moving towards the back doors with her looking back over the crowd one last time to try and find him.

As Winston walked into the kitchen, he glanced around at the people inside. Unlike the living room, it wasn't particularly busy. People tended to just come in and out to get what they wanted to drink before heading out to the rest of the house. There were a few people who were talking amongst themselves, but it was unlikely that they would stay in the room long. Though as he headed over to the liquor, his eyes dropped to two members of the frat messing around with a keg.

With just a quick look, Winston could tell that the two were struggling with the task. It seemed that they were the youngest members of the frat and was probably in charge of ensuring that the party ran well. That tended to be pushed to the new members while the older ones used their time with socializing and enjoying themselves (which also included drinking too much to even run a party). Winston chuckled as he walked over to the both of them, rolling up his sleeves as he did so. He did not want his white button down shirt getting soaked with beer.

"Let me show you both how it is done." Winston said before grabbing the keg and putting it up on the table. "First of all, place the keg where you want it to end up before tapping it. It'll save you a lot of mess." He then went on to explain what to do and how to tap a keg, all the while actually doing it. The two members were paying close attention.

Once the keg was tapped, Winston patted them on the back. His bright gold eyes looking over their faces as he smiled at them widely. "And that is how you tap a keg." He said with a chuckle before grabbing his glass and pouring his own drink.
Madeline let out a long grown as she started to slip back into consciousness. Pain was radiating up and down her body as the woman tried to get herself to wake up all of the way. Something was definitely not right but she could not quite put her finger on it. Why was she in so much pain? What had happened to her? Where even was she? All of these questions ran through her head.

At least it did until she felt an intense burning radiating up her arm. The woman yelped out, her once heavy eyes now bursting open as she jumped up into sitting position. Madeline let out a cry as her body moved from its original position. Fuck everything was painful. Though as she opened up her eyes, Madeline realized where she was and just how much trouble she was really in. A park...at dawn....

Looking down at her arm, Madeline could see that it was burned from the sunlight hitting it. What was she going to do? She couldn't get far in her current condition, but if she just stayed here then Madeline was going to be fried to death! As she frantically started to look around, Madeline saw the only possibility. There was a tree not so far away from her that was large enough to be providing shade for the whole day. Unable to get onto her own feet, Madeline crawled to the shade, laying down under it as she tried to remember what had happened.

Her eyes drifted along her body, her hands pressing against her face. She was attacked last night, but by who? Her body was many scratches, a few open wounds. A huge gasp on her right leg and along the side of her stomach. Pure pain also radiated from her chest. Sprained ribs? possibly broken? As Madeline continued to go over her wounds, the memory of the night before slowly was coming back to her. She was attacked by some vampires and apparently left in the park.

Those gold eyes where everywhere now. Evelynn couldn't focus on the frat boys in front of her talking about their majors and their plans for the world. Usually she was really good at conversation but tonight she was unfocused her eyes drifting off over the pool of screaming girls and laughing men as her mind replayed those eyes, that brief moment of connection over and over. She looked up as Tamari called her name for like the fourth time. "What?" She shook her head and smiled. "I'm sorry..." she grinned as Tamari started to scold her.

"Those boys are perfect gentlemen and you're not even paying attention." she said pointing over to the guys that went to request a few songs. Evelynn nodded and smiled. "I know I know." she put her drink against her forehead the condensation cooling her skin. It was August in Maine and the last of the nice weather and she felt like she was burning up. "I'm sorry I just thought..." she shook her head and Tamari crossed her arms. "Well come on spit it out your explanation better be good." she said and Evelyn laughed. "Really it's not I just thought I recognized someone inside and it's bothering me." she said and shrugged. Tamari nodded. "Well then you better go see if you can find him." She said and Evelynn blushed. "No no I was suppose to be your wing girl tonight." she said and Tamari shook her head. "Please Deborah would be a better wing woman tonight then you are distracted." she said and then they both laughed at the ridiculousness. "I will be fine. Go find this familiar somebody and tell me all about it later." she said and Tamari smiled. "Deal." she said and kissed her cheek in a sisterly way making Tamari grin and swat her off.

Evelynn tossed the drink out as she went inside and looked around the crowded halls. He was in the kitchen last she looked so she would start there. As she made her way there she looked around wondering if she had been misreading this look. Could she have just made it more than it should be? Her instinct where normally eerily spot on. She had the kind of instincts that would freak people out if she shared them with others but those eyes where so strange. The way they made her feel, the way she sank into them for a moment that had lasted so much longer and the unusual color of them. Come to think of it someone could have easily spiked her drink. She was walking through the house now for the second time talking herself out of it. She shook her head starting to head back outside her new drink in hand she had picked up in the kitchen on her way through.
Alec had learned a few tricks to help him get through the days and most importantly the dawn. As a blood donor collector he had a job to do. Most of the time he hired other humans to do the collections during the day but on pick up and delivery days he was always out until early morning. He had learned most people thought it strange but not questionable if he walked with an umbrella and the sunscreen helped with the rest. Alec was walking through the park on his way home when he smelled it. He had felt with that smell for a a while first coming out into the human world.

Alec looked around for the source of the burning smell. He frowned seeing a broken up young woman under a tree. She looked pretty broken up and he could tell staying there all day might get her through but wouldn't do her any good for healing. Alec walked over under the shade of the tree. He knelt down beside her. He wouldn't bother asking if she was okay, she obviously wasn't. He knew what she was and what she would need. He often didn't come upon many situations like this. He reached into his bag as he pulled it off and handed her a bottle. "It will help." he said. A little bottle of blood would help with the burning at least. She would need a lot more than that to help her heal all the way. "I'm Alec." he said softly looking her over with striking green and gold flaked eyes. "I have a place you can crash... it's not to far away. If we hurry we can make it there before the shadows on the trees becomes to light." he said and offered her his hand.

He could only imagine how creepy he sounded as he knelt there beside her. Alec slipped his back pack back on. The only thing he could really tell was that she desperately needed help and he was already offering it. He hoped she would take the offer for help. It would be stupid to refuse but he understood there was a balance to consider if he was trustworthy enough to the risk out here on her own.

As Winston turned around from making his new drink, his eyes focused on a gorgeous dirty blond. A smile moved along his face as he watched her head out of the kitchen and out into the backyard. Well since he was already here, he might as well spend some of his time talking to her. He figured it would be a good way to spend his time until he found someone to drink from tonight. He was getting rather tired of the bag blood that was delivered to him. Plus drunk humans didn't seem to mind when they were missing 30 minutes of their memories...

He took a sip of his drink as he headed out to the backyard, where he was sure she had gone to. His golden eyes searched the crowd until he found her making her way through the crowd. Winston was able to get around the crowd and a few people in front of the woman rather easily. So, once she made her way to him, still trying to get through, Winston was able to turn back to the woman easily and smile at her charmingly.

"There are a lot of people here tonight, would you like an escort to get through the crowd?" Winston knew that to her it would see that he was just a stranger offering to help her out (and maybe flirting a bit). In the least, it would not look like he had purposely seek her out but rather that they had bumped into each other.
As the man first started making his way to her, Madeline's body grew tense. At first, she had worried that it was a human offering help. What would she say to them? That she couldn't leave the shade until night had fallen? Oh she knew that would sound absolutely ridiculous. Though as he came closer, she could smell him. Ah, at least it was another vampire. In the least, it was not some nosy human. But unfortunately, this brought its own concerns with it. Like who he was, and what he wanted from her.

Once he was in front of her, Madeline let me do all of the speaking first. She was weak and it was best not to waste any energy. Plus, if she could avoid a fight that would be better for her. There was no way she would be able to win in this condition. She looked at the bottle the man handled her with suspicion. But once she opened it and could smell the blood, Madeline's eyes widen. Quickly, she downed the bottle, her eyes closing in satisfaction. However, once she finished it off, a little whimper left her lips. It wasn't enough...

She handed the bottle back before licking the remaining blood off her lips. Madeline felt a little better but it hadn't improved her condition. She was still injured, in pain and stuck. It seemed though that this man was offering to help...but for what price? And who knew what this man would do to her once she arrived at his home. Madeline looked out at the trees and the shade. But could she really stay here all day in her condition? Would it be safer than following Alec home?

Madeline let out a sigh before taking the man's hand. Whatever the price he asked for her, Madeline was sure she was willing to pay it. Better than losing her life. She started to get onto her feet. FUCK. Why did everything have to hurt so fucking much? Madeline let out a groan and leaned into him. Alec would have to deal with it wether he liked it or not. There was no way she was walking anywhere without his help. "Thank you..." Madeline ended up whispering to him. Though she was worried she was thanking him too soon.

Evelynn looked up at the man in front of her and smiled. Those eyes, it was him. Her skin shivered and she nodded. His voice was as alluring as his eyes. She couldn't believe he was standing there in front of her. She looked around then back at him. "I'm just trying to get to my friend Tamari." she said and frowned as he looked at her confused as to what she had said. Evelynn stepped closer leaning up and speaking again her hand falling to his chest to keep her center. She blushed and smiled setting herself down as he heard her this time.

Evelynn pointed to her friend, or the direction at least and stepped in towards him so that as he moved she could move in the clearing he made with his body. She bit her lip as the crowd became denser. She grabbed his arm as they walked through the crowd feeling his muscles beneath his shirt. She looked up at him as he focused on getting them through the crowd. He was so handsome and refined. He didn't look like he belonged here at this frat party but yet here he was moving through the crowd that seemed to part for him.

They came to the place Tamari was and Evelynn reach out grabbing her little blond friend. Tamari turned and looked her over then the man who Evelynn's arms were around. She raised her eyebrow and smiled tossing her platinum bouncy hair back. "Hey there." she said and leaned in kissing Evelynn's cheek quickly whispering to her. "What a hunk." she whispered grinning. Evelynn smiled and turned to him. "Sorry I didn't introduce myself. I'm Evie." she said grinning up at him gently letting him go now that she was safely with her friend.
Alec felt her fall into him and he slipped his arm around her waist holding her weight mostly on his shoulder. He smiled softly. "I would carry you if we where better aquatinted." he smiled gently as he walked under the shade of the trees with her towards his place. Once they where in the shadow of the building he relaxed a little more. When she thanked him he smiled. "No need." he said softly. He had been helped many times himself in situations where there was no hope by seemingly perfect strangers. They had quickly turned into friends.

Alec lead her to his apartment and opened the door before slipping in. He tossed the umbrella to the side as he kicked the door closed behind him. He took her to his room mostly carrying her by now and laid her back in the bed. "Sorry only one room." he said and smiled gently. "Rest there. I will be back with some more blood." he said and slipped out of the room. He also grabbed some ointment and bandages. She looked pretty roughed up. Whoever had beat her up did a really good job and probably hadn't expected her to live.

Alec came back into the room setting he things down then handing her the warmed blood. He looked her over. Once she was able to stand the first thing he would have her do would be to shower. In the mean time he would clean up her cuts and put ointment on the worst burns. "So what happened?" he asked as she finished the blood and set the cup down. He rung out the washcloth and started to gently rub at the cuts on her arms. He knew they would open but at least they wouldn't infect.

"Evie." Winston said, letting the name play on his tongue for a few moments. He hummed before smiling down at the young woman. "Well, it is a pleasure to meet you, Evie. I am Winston." As she let go of his arm, Winston allowed his arms to fall to his side once again. He then turned to her friend, giving her a friendly nod. "It is nice to meet you as well Miss?" Once she had given him her name, he gave her a nod again. Winston knew how this game worked. He needed to be nice to Evie's friend but wanted to make it clear that it was her that he was after.

"Well, it seems that I have gotten the lovely lady to her destination safe and sound. I should probably take my leave... Unless there was another task I could help with? Or if the both of you would not mind if I stayed to chat?" Winston wanted to give them the option as to whether or not he stayed longer. If she denied him now, Winston would come back around later in the night. After all, he didn't want to be the guy who just didn't get the hint. Plus, it wouldn't benefit him to stick around when they wanted him gone. Though, Winston did hope that they would want him to stay. After all, Evie was quite stunning and he rather liked the way she had been looking at him.
Once Alec laid her down on the bed, Madeline let out a sigh of relief. Oh it was so much better to rest her aching body on something so welcoming and soft. The woman laid her head back all of the way, her eyes closing as she tried to rest a little. Though her ears perked up a bit, listening closely to where Alec was and what he was doing. Even though he had helped her, Madeline knew better than to trust the man. Surely there was something he wanted. She just had not found out what that thing was yet.

As Alec handed her the cup of blood, Madeline greedily finished it up before setting it down on the table besides her. Well... she suppose he couldn't be too bad if he was trying to help her get her strength back. She forced herself to sit up a little as he started to rub the cuts along her arms. For a moment, Madeline watched what he was doing before she started to relax again. Now, her head lifting up as she looked at the man himself. "I was surrounded last night by a group of vampires...They didn't really like me. Anyways, all I can really remember is that they attacked me until I passed out, I guess. And I didn't have anything on me this morning so they must have stolen everything too." Madeline said softly.

Evelynn blushed and smiled gently at him watching him as he spoke to Tamari. He was friendly but when he looked back at her he light up and she smiled. He looked at her and she felt her insides melt. What was it about those eyes that made her feel so special and amazing? She giggled as Winston spoke. It was a very chivalrous name for a man it fit perfectly for. When he was saying he might leave she frowned. Evelynn looked at Tamari then back at Winston and shook her head.

"No we would like you to stay." Evelynn said and smiled softly at him. Tamari grinned at her friend truly going to find a way to leave the two of them alone for a while after a little while. Evelynn smiled. "So Winston tell us about yourself. Do you go to college here as well?" she asked him curiously. Evelynn hoped that she would be able to get to know Winston. She didn't know what it was about him that was pulling at her so much but she needed to figure it out.
Alec nodded as he listened and frowned. "I am sorry to hear that. Well you can stay here for a while no worries but if you're going to be staying a while you will need to help out around here." he said and smiled softly his eyes sparkling playfully. "But for now you just worry about getting better." he said and then put the ointment on then bandaged her up. He moved along her her cuts and worked on whatever he could reach without being intrusive. "Are you hurt anywhere else?" he asked after he finished. He could see some other things from beneath her tattered shirt but would let her decide how far she would let him help.

Alec sat back after they finished cleaning her up. He yawned softly having been up all night. He cleaned up the bed and then offered her a baggy shirt and sweatpants. "I'm going to shower." he said smiling then turned taking off his shirt moving tot he bathroom. He tossed his shirt in the hamper on the way taking his pjs as normal before closing the door. Once he was in he sighed turning on the water. She was a stunning woman and very brave. He still couldn't figure out why he had brought her home other than he had been raised to help people.

Winston smiled at her once she asked for him to stay. This was exactly what he had been hoping for, and now that he had her interest, he was ready to continue on and see where this night might take them. There was something that interested her about him and he was willing to take in as much as he could. So, he took a small step closer to her, looking down at the beauty as he started to speak.

"I do go to college here. I am a junior actually... or perhaps more like a senior as I might graduate early. My major is Political Science." He told her. It would be easy for Winston to graduate early if he wanted to, after all he barely slept and he knew his major the moment he walked into the door. He just needed an excuse to understand humans better. "I am also part of one of the Frats on campus here, Alpha Epsilon Pi. Which, I suppose, explains why I was allowed into this party tonight. Now, how about you Evie?"
Madeline shook her head when the man asked if there was any other place that she wanted him to clean up. She had plenty of wounds and cuts and scrapes but she wasn't exactly ready to start undressing herself just so he could fix them. Besides, Madeline was sure that she would turn out find. Some rest, some blood and a little bit of time and she would be back to normal. As Alec headed into the bathroom, she was careful to pull off her own clothes and put on the ones that he had given here. Ah, they were actually clean and really soft... Plus they weren't ripped, dirty and covered in blood like her old ones.

She sat in the bed for a few moments, decided on wether or not she felt safe enough to sleep. It seemed a little ridiculous to ask herself that now that she was already in his apartment, wearing his clothes but... well he did mention something about having to work for her stay here. Madeline was curious as to what that meant, and she really hoped she would not have to stay long. Surely, it would be easy enough to get a copy of the things she had lost? Though after mulling this over for a few moments, Madeline decided there was no point in exhausting herself further. She pulled the hood over her head, wrapped herself in his blanket like a little burrito and fell asleep almost immediately.

Evelynn smiled. "Well my full name is Evelynn in case you hear anyone saying that." she blushed. "But everyone I know called me Evie." She bit her lip. "I am a member of the Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority and I am majoring in Literature..." Tamari looked over at her and she chuckled. "Okay I am double majoring, my second is Communications." She smiled at him. "I am almost done with my communications one though and I have another year in Literature. So that would make me a junior as well I guess." Evelynn looked up into Winston's eyes. "It's odd we haven't seen each other around then." she said curious.

Evelynn was much better at arguing some point she wasn't involved in than something personal or speaking about herself. It might be odd but it was just normal for her. She could talk about literature all day but the moment you asked her something personal she had to think about it and sometimes she didn't have a real answer. She sipped her drink. "Where are you from Winston?" she asked him. Evelynn still was finding herself curious about Winston and enjoying talking with him. He was so interesting to watch. Even the way he looked at her, studying her was fascinating.
Alec came out of the shower later and smiled seeing the girl sleeping. He was glad she had fallen asleep. She still hadn't told him her name. He smiled and dressed for bed yawning. It was earlier than he was use to staying up but he wanted to help her out. Alec looked at the beautiful woman and considered how odd it would be to sleep in his own bed next to her tonight. He figured just for one night he should do the gentleman thing and let her have the bed to herself. He didn't want her to get the wrong idea about him when she woke up.

Alec sighed grabbing her old cloths tossing them out. He grabbed his pillow and headed out to the couch. He grabbed some extra blankets out of the hall closet and laid down. As the sun rose he was truly thankful for the blackout blinds. He crawled onto he comfy couch glad he had splurged for the good couch now. He closed his eyes trying to relax but all he could see was the woman in need that was now perfectly safe in his bed. He would need to get her something to change into when she was feeling better so she didn't feel stuck. He knew that was the first way to make someone run was to make them feel stuck. He was going through his list of what he would need to get for her when sleep finally overtook him.

While Evelynn found it odd that they had not run into each other before, Winston did not. Their majors were different enough that it was unlikely that they would be taking similar classes. Campus, also, was rather large. Besides that, Winston would not be found walking around in the middle of the day like she would be. Though it was odd that he had not seen her at a single party since he started here. This was a pretty normal thing for him to do during the weekend... Perhaps she was not much of a partier herself. "It is unfortunate that we have not run into each other before this." He said smoothly as he looked her over for a moment. Yes, very unfortunate...

Winston could not help but let out a little laugh as Evelynn asked him where he was from. It would be absolutely impossible to explain to her where he was really from. If he did, the girl wouldn't believe it, and she had every right to think that he was either lying to her, or out of his mind. Besides that, Winston would not really say he was from any single location as his family had homes all over the world. Though, he supposed there was a place he spent the most time in. It was a great hub for Vampires. "New York, New York. The City that Never Sleeps." He smirked to himself a bit. "And where are you from?"
After a long sleep, Madeline slowly started to wake. First, she let out a small groan as she came into consciousness, feeling the pain that was radiating up her body. Though as she opened her eye, her memories came flooding to her. She let out a little sigh of relief before turning over gingerly and pressing her face against the pillow. Well... she did not feel fantastic but this was a definite improvement. With some sleep, some food and someone taking care of her, well Madeline felt pretty good for someone who had just been almost beaten almost to death.

Slowly, the girl turned back over and pushed herself up into the bed. A groan let her lips, her eyes closing as she moved her body. Though once she was comfortably relaxed against the bed, Madeline let out a small sigh of relief. Hopefully, her body would heal enough to allow her to move without so much issue. In the least, she was able to sit up without wanting to cry. Thank the Heavens for vampire's abilities to heal quickly. Now she was up though, her mind turned to more pressing matters, quietly she murmured, "Alec?" If he was awake, he would be able to hear her.

Evelynn nodded. She didn't often come to just any party and when she did she didn't really branch out. Unlike her sorority sisters she was not entirely interested in hooking up at these parties so she didn't talk to others much. Put her at a charity function and you couldn't stop her from talking to nearly everyone to get them to donate but she felt conversations should benefit people. "Well perhaps now we will see more of each other?" she suggested and smiled as he spoke of his home.

Evelynn chuckled softly too. "I have always wanted to visit New York." she admitted. "I live in Seattle, Washington." she said smiling gently. "The rainiest state in the USA." She played giving the state its earned dues. She was use to the dark skies and the rain. In it's own way it was beautiful, nothing like Maryland. Evelynn liked the way Winston looked at her. She blushed as his eyes moved over her. Tamari smiled butting in. "Well I am going to get another drink you two stay here and chat." she said and kissed Evelynn's cheek smiling and whispered him him making Evelynn's cheeks burn brighter red. She shook her head watching her friend go before turning back too Winston.
Alec was working not he next collection information setting up the needed quantities and talking with his unknowing human coworkers as they worked on getting more blood for him. He was just starting to stress the importance of AB negative when he heard the rushing in the room. He paused in his typing listening to her sounds of pain. He finished his email sending it out then stood moving over to the kitchen heating up some blood. He heard her whisper his name and smiled. He took the warmed blood out and walked into his bedroom. "Morning." he said and smiled handing her the blood. "How did you sleep?" he asked her. He looked her over. She was already starting to look better. He picked up her old glass holding it in his hands. "Are you feeling any better?" he asked knowingly.

Alec leaned against the nearby wall curious as to what she thought he was helping her for. He was sure she would come right out and say it here soon before she really started to owe him, not that it was how he saw it. Alec had a different view than many others and a lot different than a lot of vampires. Besides he could tell she was a beautiful woman and maybe he could get a smile out of her if he was cleaver at just the right moment.

As Evelyn started to blush harder, Winston could smell the blood rushing through her body. She had such an usual but intoxicating scent. Immediately, he became curious as to what the young woman might taste like. It was not typically of vampires to drink straight from humans anymore. That practice had died down drastically after some unfortunate incidents... Though every once in a while vampires liked to drink straight from humans. And Winston was rather hungry and it had been a while since his teeth sunk into flesh.

Though it was probably best not to do so with dear Evie. She wasn't drunk enough for it. Besides that, Winston was interested in other things besides eating with it came to her. He found her to be an interesting person and he did not always run into that. Plus, Winston did not like to make drinking from humans a habit. He had an image and rules to upkeep. "Well, I certainly do hope that we see more of each other. Though, perhaps, that is something that we will need to make happen ourselves." Winston said before continuing on. "And I have been to Washington before. It is a rather rainy state but I enjoyed my time there. Though I think nothing is quite like New York. You should definitely visit there sometime. I think you would take a liking to it."
Madeline looked up at Alec, more than pleased to see a cup of warm blood in his hand. Once he offered it to her, she was quick to take it from his hands and bring it up to her lips. Though, unlike earlier, she took slower sips of it. Ah this was exactly what she had needed. Once Madeline had a good first drink, Madeline brought the half full cup to her lap and looked up at Alec once again. She was quiet for a moment, taking the time to make a decision. But it did not take her very long to decide to ignore his questions and go to what she really wanted to know.

"What are you looking for in regards to repayment for your help?" She asked him, looking the man over. Unfortunately, with the way she was yesterday, Alec could argue that she owed him her life. And at the moment she was not really in a place to fight with him if they were unable to reach an agreement on what Madeline should give him. In the least, she was pretty sure that the man did not know who she was. So in that regards, she did not have to worry about requests from that part of her life. Hopefully all the man would want is money but she was unsure that would be the case.

Evelynn smiled at him. "I would love to travel more. If I get to New York you will have to show me around." she said smiling at him trying to put the image of him in her bed out of her mind that Tamari had put there. "I believe you are right though we should make it a point to see more of each other. Just what did you have in mind?" she asked him smiling before sipping her drink her eyes sparkling over her cup. She wanted to be challenging and make him ask for her number. It was the hunt right? She shivered slightly in the night air as the music changed.

"Do you dance?" Evelynn asked him. He was the kind of man you wanted to be pressed up against arms wrapped around and quite honestly she was surprised there wasn't some freshman following him around like a lost puppy dog. She really did hope to get to see him outside of this party. It seemed like they would have fun going bowling or a stroll down the boardwalk. Winston was the kind of guy you could see going places with and it excited her.
Alec smiled as she drank. He waited as she set the cup in her lap. she was quite a while as if deciding what might happen if she spoke. He waited until she spoke. She didn't answer his questions but instead asked her own and he nodded. She was obviously well enough and well rested enough to be concerned what he wanted. He frowned thinking about it. "Well you see I have been thinking about it for a while... Quite frankly there is so much I could ask for but that is not why I helped you... you realize I don't even know your name?" He smiled at her. "How about this. When you are feeling better you make us a nice meal and tell me your story and we have a friendly evening as if we are two old friends catching up?" he suggested thinking it was acceptable to ask from her. After all she could be here for a while. "And once you are better and we get to know each other and if you decide you need a place to stay while you get back to your feet then we can talk about dividing the cleaning and cooking and such."

Alec smiled at her thinking that it was easy to share your story with a stranger. There was nothing they could do about your life other than listen, it was kind of therapeutic actually and it really satisfied the curiosity of the listener. He pushed off the wall. "Think about it. I will be back with a warm cloth for you to freshen up with. You don't quite look ready to stand for a shower yet and I don't have a tub you can get in by yourself like this." he said and slipped out of the room. He came back a little later with a warm bowl of water and a cloth. "So what do you say? Do we have a deal?"

"Maybe I will." Winston said with a little smirk. There were plenty of places in New York that he would be able to take her, though he would need to be sure to stay clear of any vampiric areas. They knew him well there and if this ever happened, the last thing he would want is people coming up to him on the street and bowing. Though, as much as he was interested in her, he doubted they would ever go to New York together. He knew better than to bring a human there.

"Oh, I think you should let me think on that one, Evie. I wouldn't want to suggest a generic activity for a lady as interesting as yourself." Winston knew the game that they were playing, but he was not some teenage boy who just chased. He also enjoyed teasing and watching them squirm a bit before giving in. And even if they split ways today with nothing planned, Winston knew he could find her later. Though at that point, she would have to wait for him. "And I do dance, quite well actually. Would you like to?" As a noble, Winston knew many dances and he was quite skilled at it. Though he was sure that a ballroom dance was not what Evie had in mind. But he was rather sure he could keep up with what was probably going through her mind.
As Alec walked out of the room, Madeline mulled over his request. It wasn't a bad deal for her by any means. Though, still, she wondered if there was some sort of catch to this. How much of her story would the man expect her to tell? She hoped it would not turn into an interrogation of sorts where he tried to find out private information or her secrets... But by then, Madeline would be back to full strength and she was pretty sure she could take him one on one. Also, it sounded like the man just wanted to learn more about the stranger that was going to live in his home for a few days. What was wrong about that?

When Alec came back in, Madeline had already made up her mind on his request. It was a simple request that she could meet. Though, she doubted she would need to take his offer of staying there. Once she was feeling better, Madeline would be able to reach out to her family and they could get her the things she needed to live in the mortal world. Her eyes lifted up to the man and she gave him a small smile. "Yes, we have a deal." She said before finishing up the rest of her drink and setting it down on the table besides the bed. "My name is Madeline, by the way."

Evelynn smiled at him. "Think on it and you will have to let me know what you come up with." she said unsure what he meant by all that but none the less he seemed interested in her. She bit her lip lightly looking up at him. When he asked if she would like to dance she grinned. "I would like to." she said glad he had suggested it. At let he caught that and had accepted it. Evelynn finished her drink tossing out the cup and turning to him taking his hand. She slipped through the crowd smiling back at him as the lights shown in her eyes making them look like the northern lights.

Once they were in the middle of the crowd there was no choice but to press against her dance partner as the music guided the movement of bodies around them. Evelynn put her hands on his arms and then ran them up around his neck her body pressed into his. There was a little flush to her cheeks as their bodies met but she smiled at him. It was something about the way his body felt on hers that caused her heart to hammer in her chest a little harder and her mind to stir. She swayed her hips to the music her body brushing teasingly over his.
Alec smiled and nodded. "I am glad to hear." he said and chuckled as she introduced herself finally. "It is nice to meet you Madeline." he said and nodded softly. "You should use the water before it gets cold." he said and ducked out of the room. He went over to the kitchen looking at what he had stocked up. He would need to make a run to the store tonight. He was guessing she would be feeling better Friday, in the mean time he would need some supplies. He could probably make his work stretch so he didn't have to do much but make short trips out now and again.

He gave it 40 minutes just to be safe before he knocked on the door before heading back into his room. He smiled as he came in and she looked refreshed. "Warm water does wonders for the soul." he said and cleaned up what she hadn't used. "I have to run out for a little supply run and to tie up some business. Is there anything you need while I am out other than a toothbrush?" he asked giving her the option.

Winston was more than satisfied with how this night was going. It was definitely becoming more than what he had been hoping for. At first, he just came out for the sake of the party, and maybe a snack. Though now he had this amazingly hot woman all pressed up into him. Not that it was particularly hard for Winston to find a girl but this was the most fun he had had with it in a while. Evie was genuinely interesting to him.

Once they started to dance and she came closer, Winston moved his hands onto her hips. She was already pressed against him and her arms wrapped loosely around his neck. He let out a hum, letting his fingers press into her gently, pulling her in ever so slightly. Evie's body was already brushing teasingly along his. So, he started to move with her and with the beat of the music, wanting to encourage Evie to continue. He leaned down and whispered in her ear with a smirk on his lips. "Are you a professional?"
Madeline laid back into the bed as Alec came in and started to clean up the bowl and the towels she had used. Some of them were pretty bloody. Though at least now all of her wounds were cleaned and the dried blood off of her body. Still, she wanted to try and take an actual shower tomorrow. Madeline was sure that would do her much better than any warm bowl of water and some towels. "Thank you." She said softly. "I do feel a bit better."

As he asked if there was anything he could pick up, Madeline was quick to shake her head. She did not want to owe him anything more than she already did. And once she was able to contact her family, she would have access to her own fortune. Besides, Madeline was sure she could last a few days without getting everything she wanted. All she really needed to do right now was make sure that she healed as fast as possible. "No, thank you."

Evelynn blushed and smiled bashfully as he whispered over the music in her ear. She pressed a little more firmly into him not only because he was pulling her in but because she wanted it. It felt so nice to be this close to Winston. She could see this night quickly becoming one of a kind if he also decided on it. Evelynn normally didn't hook up at parties but something about Winston had her feeling like she would make an exception. She smiled as the music overtook her the alcohol helping to loosen the tension she might have with the intensity of the feelings here with Winston.

Evelynn pressed her body to Winston's her hips rolling against his as her hands moved from his neck down his shoulders to his chest letting herself lean back before someone back up. The song changed and she let herself move with the flow not worrying for once what others would think of her in the morning because she was having a really good time and she really liked Winston. Evelynn was stunning as she moved, it was obvious because of the others around them watching.
Alec nodded and then headed out shaking his head. She seemed insistent not to let anyone help her like she was afraid what she would owe them if she asked for help. He didn't know her life but hoped by the end of all this he would have some understanding. Alec headed to the store picking up some things for the house and a few feminine hygiene products as well as a few things in her size he was thinking would make her feel more comfortable. He was sure the last thing she wanted was to be in old cloths for to long.

As Alec came back he headed up and put things away before be took her the couple of bags he had picked up for her as well as the duffle bag. He plopped them on the bed as he came in. "I figured you weren't the reading kind of person, you seem more like the busy body am I right?" he asked as she looked over the things. "I can bring you a book for later if you like if I happen to have misread you." he said and smiled at her. "I know you didn't ask for these but I figured it might be nice to have a few things to help get you started.

A little smirk moved over Winston's face as Evelyn started rolling her hips against his. He allowed his hands to move down further and grip her ass. It was becoming clear where this night could end up. Though, unlike normal, Winston had his reservations about it. Evelynn was someone he was interested in for more than a single night - otherwise Winston was sure he would already have his fangs in her.

Going back to her place would bring issues as he would have to leave immediately or before she woke up, which sent signals that Winston did not want. And Winston definitely could not bring her back to his place as there were some delicate things lying around. Besides that, playing with Evelynn seemed like more fun than a one and done kind of deal. Reaching up, Winston ran his hand through her hair before pressing it against the back of her head and moving in for a kiss.
As Alec came into the room, Madeline's eyes dropped straight to the bags on the bed. She seemed a bit unsure before looking back up at Alec. Did this mean she owed him more now? Madeline really did not like having debts hanging over her head, especially ones that she didn't ask for. It was kind of Alec to think of her but he was doing too much and Madeline couldn't help but worry that he would find out who she was before she left. Being one away from the throne caused it's own issues...

"Thank you," Madeline said after a moment before she leaned forward with a groan and grabbed the bags, looking through them. It was thoughtful and admittedly, the things he bought for her were rather nice to have. She pulled out some of the clothes that he bought for her and a little smile moved over her lips. It was going to be nice having some clothes that would fit her properly. "And you are right, I am kind of a busy body."
