They won't know where to find us
'Cause they keep on looking down
And what's a game if it's so serious?
If we're to blame, then what you see in us?
You follow rules and that's not fine by us
We're living loud 'cause we can't get enough

"Coast's clear," George murmured to her classmate, and partner in crime, Leia. Adjusting her jacket around herself to protect herself from the cold of the early night, George led Leia through the courtyard of the school, almost not believing that they were actually doing this. It was a rush, that was for certain, and the risk of being caught sneaking out was just so damn exciting. George had been at the boarding school for just over a year for behaviour correction purposes, and yet, to her, all it had encouraged was for George to embrace the rebellion more than she did before. "Go!" She laughed, tugging Leia forward with a laugh so they could climb over the fence - the plan having been mapped out for days.

Luke sat in a small, twenty four hour cafe on the street corner, having taken the seat nearest to the window to satisfy his people watching needs. Sipping a coffee, Luke rolled his eyes playfully at some story Ashton was telling, shaking his head at the older boy's antics. Being back home after a long tour felt incredible, and Luke was excited to lay low for a bit while they started to write for the new record. Focusing on the street outside for a long moment, Luke laughed at Ashton's words. "You didn't do that, don't lie." He smirked, focusing his attention back to people passing.

Leia chewed on her lip, a little anxious about doing this. She'd grown up in a prim and proper home, used to strict rules and expectations, and it was pretty much the same at the boarding school and she'd grown so bored of it all. She wanted to give herself the chance to experience something more, which was a major reason she'd agreed to this idea in the first place. Laughing quietly, she followed George, feeling a sort of adrenaline rushing through her with the fact that they were going through with this whole idea, but she grinned as she climbed over the fence. Carefully, she climbed down as quietly as she could before she looked to George. "Alright, let's get out of here while we still can," she murmured happily, breathing out with slight amazement that they'd come this far at all.

Calum moved to join his friends after he'd grabbed himself a snack and a coffee, sitting across from Luke, though he arched a brow as he'd overheard what his friend had said. "What? What happened? What did Ashton lie about doing this time?" he asked with amusement, leaning back in his seat as he picked at his snack. Admittedly, he was glad to be home, glad to be able to relax, and they'd finished their final show, so it was just smooth sailing from here. "Oh, man, it feels good to be back." Grinning with the thought, he sipped at his drink before peering out the window, grateful that the night seemed like a good one, they wouldn't have to worry about bad weather or anything, they could just enjoy their first night back home without any real problems - and he was absolutely looking forward to every second of it.

George climbed over the fence carefully, trying her hardest not to rattle the fence too much, afraid that any noise that was out of place past curfew would draw attention to them. Still, George smoothed out her t-shirt as she regained her balance, looking to Leia with a grin. "Where do we even go?" She asked quietly, tucking a strand of blonde hair behind her ear - the rest of her hair tied up into a bun, so she could easily put the hood of her jacket up if she needed to. Still, escaping that god awful dormitory was a breath of fresh air, and George had no qualms admitting it.

Luke sipped his coffee as he winked at Calum. "Ashton's lying about telling a girl he was the hottest member of the band," he explained, his grin growing with his own words as he picked at his own food. "Which is clearly a lie, because that title belongs to me." Luke smirked proudly. Hearing Calum's words though, Luke nodded. "It does. I can't wait to have a couch day and lounge around with Piggy." Luke grinned with the thought, unable to help himself. A day full of snacks and movies was well needed. Looking out of the window once more, Luke watched as the moon hid behind the clouds. "Looks like it's gonna rain."

Leia thought about it for a moment but she led the way away from the building without a plan, anyways, wanting to make sure they didn't get caught outside the gates. "Um... Wherever the wind takes us?" she suggested almost jokingly, grinning slightly over at her friend as she offered a small shrug. "Let's just maybe follow this road and see where it goes?" She motioned to the nearest road, looking back to her friend. "Explore what we can and, if we're not satisfied, we can always try the other direction tomorrow?"

Calum rolled his eyes slightly with Luke's words, scoffing lowly. "You wish. You can all lie to yourselves as much as you want, but we all know the truth is that I'm the hottest member of the band," he chimed out easily, but more jokingly than anything. Grinning, he sipped at his drink, arching a brow. "Too bad Petunia's the only girl you'll be cuddling with any time soon." He smirked teasingly, but looked outside, making a slight face with the thought of raining. "So much for hoping for a clear weather night."

George nodded. "That could work," she grinned over at Leia, just so incredibly excited to be out of the confinement of the gates and fences. "I think this road leads to society, anyway. You know, something we haven't seen in a long time?" She rolled her eyes with her own comment, although the chill of the air was refreshing, and the overcast clouds almost sent an excitement through George. "Am I unlady like if I dance in the rain?" She joked to Leia, walking in a comfortable stride with her best friend beside her.

Luke laughed with Calum's words, still on a high from their final show of the tour. "Okay, Cal, you keep telling yourself that, sugar." Luke winked, taking another sip of his coffee as he bit into his sandwich, but he promptly flipped Calum off with his comment about Petunia. "Leave my girl out of this," he warned, trying to hold back the grin that so desparately wanted to make it's way onto his face. "Where's your girlfriend, hm?" He joked. "Oh, wait... you don't have one." He ripped the crust from his bread and threw it at Calum.

Leia grinned but nodded as they walked, settling her gaze ahead, eager to see the world outside the gates. "I can't remember ever going into society without my parents breathing down my neck," she admitted, making a slight face at her friend. It felt so nice, freeing, to be outside, to be able to breathe, and she took a deep breath, smelling and tasting the rain in the air. "If you want to dance in the rain, I could provide music?"

Calum shook his head slightly, laughing at Luke's reaction. "You brought her into this," he reminded with a broad grin, "You brought it onto yourself." Winking jokingly, he bit at his snack, though he made a face, trying to dodge the bread Luke had thrown at him. "Oi, don't waste the food!" He laughed, grinning broadly still, amused. "Just because I don't have a girlfriend doesn't mean that I can't tease you about the fact that you don't, either."

George nodded in understanding to Leia's words. George's own parents, although she was unsure if the same could be said for Leia, were constantly looking over her shoulder, monitoring every little thing that she said or did, and often, she was scolded for being improper, unlady like, unprofessional. A girl that no gentleman would want to keep. Frowning with the thought, George looked to Leia. "Well, we're here now, so let's make the most of it." She grinned, nudging her friend carefully. "I'm not dancing!" She objected with a laugh. "I'm not that free yet, give it a few days." She teased, finally beginning to feel the rain, listening to how it softly hit the ground around them.

Luke shook his head in mock disappointment at Calum. "Cal, tut, tut. I thought you were better than this, dragging Petunia into our battles." Luke grinned, sipping his coffee as he listened to Ashton and Michael's conversation, although his train of thought was soon halted on it's tracks when he looked outside once more, seeing the rain. "Thank god," he hummed. "It's been too humid. Hopefully this will clear the air." He commented, taking another bite of his sandwich, flicking more crusts at Calum. "Oi, until you get a girlfriend, you don't have those kind of bragging rights."

Leia laughed quietly, grinning at her friend. "How can you suggest making the most of it but then turn down dancing?" she asked with a laugh, unable to help it, though she gave a noise of surprise when she felt the rain falling. For now, she left her hood down, just wanting to feel the rain on her skin, and she grinned, lifting her gaze to stare at the sky, watching the rain, loving how the rain felt when it fell on her face. "It really does feel like freedom, though." Closing her eyes, she listened to the sound of the rain hitting the ground, her hair already sticking to her face, and she let herself enjoy it.

"Nobody's safe in war, Luke," Calum chimed easily in response, grinning broadly, "There are casualties, sometimes innocent. Poor Petunia wouldn't be one of those if not for you." He pointed a jokingly accusing finger at Luke but focused on his snack, peering out the window, watching the rain. He was distracted enough by it that, when Luke flicked more crust at him, he blinked, barely affected by it, but he made a face at Luke. "Oi, nobody was bragging except you." He laughed with the mention of it, shaking his head slightly. "But, watch, one day I'll get a girlfriend and she'll be the best damn thing to exist."

George nudged Leia with a laugh. "Hey! I'll dance eventually." She teased. "If you're such a big talker, missy, why don't you dance with me?" She asked, inhaling as the rain worsened, but George was almost estatic to feel the droplets against her skin, because being this free, this unlimited, was a luxury either of them rarely had the opportunity to seize. "It does," George nodded to Leia's words with a smile, walking on happily as puddles began to collect in the cobbles of the streets, feeling excitement flood through her as she saw lights - a coffee shop, an arcade, a burger joint, and more.

Luke couldn't help that laugh that burst forth, despite himself. Biting his lip, Luke shook his head. "You're so damn over dramatic, it's ridiculous." He threw the rest of his crust at Calum, a small pout coming to his lips when he realised he'd ran out of ammo to protect himself (and Petunia's honour). Smacking Calum's hand, Luke focused his attention outside once more, watching the rain run down the window, competing in some sort of unspoken race. "She'll be the best thing to you, mate. My girlfriend would be a Queen." Luke sighed happily with the thought. "And treated like one, too."

Leia grinned over at her friend. "If you dance, I'll dance," she said easily, shrugging, though she felt so incredibly content in that moment that she wasn't even sure that dancing was required. Setting her gaze ahead, her grin broadened at all the lights. "I don't think I've really been in this area at night." Her parents usually did all their important things during the day, nights were left for charities or events.

"Oi, you're not one to judge," Calum said with a laugh, shaking his head, though he smirked, pulling his hand back to avoid getting attacked more by Luke. "You say that, but I guarantee you'll all be jealous of me once I find the perfect girl. You'll all want her, but she'll only want me." He chewed on his lip with the thought, feeling his heart swell with the thought, hopeful, but he smiled. "And I won't let a day pass without telling her how damn perfect she is."

George laughed, almost anxiously, because did she really dare? Thinking back to all the times she was forced to sit upright, sit still, don't speak unless spoken to, George couldn't help the feeling of rebellion that poured over her, because all the times she was told to be quiet and act like a respectable lady told her to dance to her heart's own beat. Laughing, George shrugged off her jacket, tying it around her waist as she splashed through puddles, dancing around happily, truly feeling free. "What're you waiting for, Leia, c'mon!" She grinned.

Luke shook his head with amusement, but he couldn't quite put into words how much he wanted what he and Calum were describing. All Luke wanted was a girl he could call his, someone he could put all of his love into, all of his time, effort, without having his heart broken. He wanted someone who would hold him, and who he could hold in return, and just thinking about it made his heart swell. "Yeah? Well, you'll be jealous when I find my perfect girl." He grinned. "I'll never let her forget how important she is to me." Luke admitted, looking out of the window once more, biting his lip.

"Oh, we're really doing this?" Leia asked with surprise, though she laughed, throwing her head back for a moment, and nodded, "Alright, alright." Shifting, she tugged off her own jacket, mimicking George's actions as she tied it around her waist. Already, she could feel her shirt sticking to her skin, but she didn't care. Grinning, she listened to the rain, letting herself pretend that it was music, and, laughing, she danced with George, just wanting to enjoy this freedom in every way they could in case they didn't get this opportunity again.

Calum chewed on his lip, his thoughts going to what his life would be like if he had the perfect girl for himself. He knew once he had a girl who was perfect to him, his life would be complete, nothing in the world would be able to tear them apart, and he'd never feel as happy as he would with her in his arms. Before he could retort to Luke, though, he blinked, seeing movement outside, but the rain drops on the window made it hard to make it out. "I'll be right back," he told the others, slipping out of his seat to head outside, his curiosity getting the best of him and, once he was outside, his eyes landed on a girl dancing, blonde and gorgeous in the light of the city night lights - he could only imagine what she looked like in proper lighting. His breath caught in his throat with seeing her dancing, with seeing her grinning, with just how happy she looked and something in him ignited, wanting to always see her like that, happy, and he didn't know where the thought came from when he didn't even know who this girl was, but it was the most amazing thing.

George laughed, not caring her white t-shirt was clinging to her, despite the chill of the rain, not caring her hair was wet, not caring her shoes were getting dirty, because the moment was priceless, and it was all George had asked for, for such a long time. "See?" She laughed to Leia, undoing her hair from it's conservative bun, wanting to let herself go completely, knowing that, come morning, that dream would end until the sunset. "How amazing does this feel?!" She asked, beaming, unable to stop herself. "Why the hell did we wait so long to do this?"

Luke's gaze followed Calum's to the street outside, having noticed how Calum didn't even offer him a response. When he saw the movement, Luke's eyebrows furrowed with a curiosity, an urge to go and investigate, because it was almost eleven, and who would be out this time of night? "I'll be back," he nodded to Michael and Ashton, quickly following Calum's path, pausing in the doorway to the cafe as he stepped into the cool air, but as soon as his eyes adjusted to the neon lights, he blinked in surprise as his eyes landed upon a beautiful brunette; dancing in the rain, jacket tied around her waist and a smile that Luke swore was more dazzling than any sight he'd ever seen. "Woah," he murmured, stepping outside fully, unable to tear his eyes from the beautiful stranger, suddenly feeling an ignition, a rush of warmth through his chest, and he silently wished this moment could last forever, because her happiness was so damn contagious, Luke couldn't help but smile.

Leia giggled happily, unable to help it, and she grinned over at her friend. "At least we're doing it now!" she pointed out, her grin broadening, and she couldn't believe how amazing it felt, how wonderful it felt, to let themselves go for a little while, even if it wouldn't last as long as either of them wanted. At least they could have moments like these on the nights they snuck out from now on, though.

Calum found himself in complete and utter shock, amazed by the girl he was watching, and he thought that amazement couldn't increase any more than it already had but, when he saw her take her hair down, he swore she was absolute perfection - the very perfection he'd been talking about just minutes ago. He couldn't tear his gaze from her, so in awe of her, and he didn't want to interrupt her, because she was having so much fun, but he could feel his heart swelling more and more the longer he watched her, wondering how somebody like her could exist, how she could pop up out of nowhere in such a coincidental moment. But, afraid the universe would rip her out of his sight, he didn't question it too much, just stayed there, watching her, waiting, before he shifted, calling out, "Hey! Need a dance partner?" And he grinned, unable to help it, because, really, his bravery came out of nowhere, but it came at the perfect time, in his opinion.

George laughed, biting her lip happily as she spun around, but hearing a voice, George turned, pausing for a moment when her eyes landed on a dark haired boy, his gaze directly on her. George had never seen a sight so beautiful in her life, how serene he looked in the rain, how his smile was so contagious, she couldn't stop herself from grinning in return. "I'd love one!" She replied, stopping to offer him her hand, biting her lip as she studied him further.

Luke bit his lip happily as the girl he'd been watching giggled, and as addictive as she was, Luke realised, in that moment, that he couldn't let her get away. He'd never believed in love at first sight, but she was just so incredibly breathtaking that Luke was sure fate directed her right to him. Stepping forward, Luke approached Leia confidently. "My lady, may I have this dance?" He grinned, offering her his hand and a gentle smile, wanting to show her he wasn't a danger, he wasn't a risk, he was just someone who had been captured by a beauty that he didn't want to let go of, and Luke smiled as the rain engulfed him, too, not caring for a single moment as he ran a hand through his hair. "I'm Luke."

Calum couldn't help the grin that formed on his features when she'd grinned at him, his heart racing with the fact that she had her attention on him at all, but his grin broadening all the more when she'd agreed. "Perfect, I'm honored," he told her happily, moving over to take her hand gently, examining her, and he placed his hand on her waist, not wanting to make her uncomfortable. "You looked like you were having a lot of fun, I had to join in." Winking teasingly, he couldn't help but to absolutely love the fact that she was this close to him, and he began leading the dance, even without music. "I'm Calum, by the way."

Leia paused in her movement, blinking as she peered over when she'd realized somebody had approached her. For a moment, she was speechless, so caught off guard by the fact that this guy was absolutely stunning, and she couldn't believe that somebody like him was talking to somebody like her, but she could feel her heart swelling, anyways, and she grinned. "Of course," she decided eventually, shifting to place her hand in his, swearing that, even in the chill of the rain, the simple contact made her feel warmer than she'd ever felt before. "I'm Leia. It's nice to meet you, Luke."

George felt her heartbeat increase by tenfold when Calum's hand rested on her waist, but something about having him this close was intoxicating, the way his hair was wet, the way his cologne smelled, everything was perfect. Resting a hand on his shoulder, George held onto his hand - the touch sending a jolt of electricity through her, dancing with him as she followed his lead, the moment so incredible to her. Laughing as Calum winked, George bit her lip. "You made it better." She told him honestly. "I'm Georgina, but call me George." She told him with a smile.

Luke smiled, placing a hand onto Leia's waist as he began to lead the dance, the sound of the rain falling around them being the only beat he needed. "Well, Leia, it's wonderful to meet you." He told her honestly, smiling down at her. Feeling her under his touch made Luke feel like his was drunk, in the best way, because there was something so oddly liberating about Leia, despite the fact she was still a stranger to him. "You looked like you were having the time of your life," he told her with a smile, his heart swelling as he studied her, and Luke realised, it was her he'd been looking for. "What's the occassion?" He asked with curiosty, spinning her with a smile, being careful, afraid she'd be taken from him so soon.

Calum chewed on his lip, his grin threatening to spread so far across his face that he hadn't even known his grin could be that broad. He loved being close to her, though, and holding her in his arms, being able to be this close to her and take in all her magnificence, with how damn perfect she was, raindrops trailing down her face, dripping from her lips. "Yeah?" he asked, "I'm really glad to hear that. With how much you seemed to be enjoying yourself, I'm surprised anything could have made it better." And, knowing that he apparently had made him so unbelievably happy. "I'm very glad to meet you, George."

Leia grinned slightly, admittedly loving the feeling of Luke's touch, but she tried not to be too obvious about it. Still, she followed his lead happily, amazed by how great it felt, really. "I thought I was," she admitted, tilting her head as she watched him, "You might have changed my mind on that one, though." She grinned, laughing when he spun her, and she rested her hand on his shoulder once she was facing him again. "Temporarily escaping a boarding school."

George smiled up at Calum, still following his lead, just enjoying being so close to him, enjoying hearing the sound of his voice, enjoying the sight of his smile. "I'm very glad to meet you too, Calum." She grinned, squeezing his hand gently, having never felt so connected to anyone else before. "So, do you usually dance with strangers, or am I the lucky exception?" She winked cheekily.

Luke grinned with Leia's words, squeezing her waist gently with his hand, still leading the dance confidently, but having her this close made Luke feel nervous, almost, because he'd never seen such perfection in the flesh, and yet, here Leia was, existing, and that was incredible enough. "Oh?" He raised his eyebrows with a grin. "You sneak out?" He asked, half impressed, half amused, but he sympathised, because he imagined a boarding school was no fun. "Is it far from here?"
