Calum smiled as he examined her, memorizing her in the light of the city, holding her closer to himself gently, unable to help it, just wanting to have her as close as he could. "Good," he murmured, squeezing her hand in return, finding himself amazed at how perfectly her hand fit in his, but, in that moment, he believed, more than anything he'd ever believed before, that she was made for him. "That's a good question." He grinned. "I think you're definitely the exception, but I'm the lucky one." He winked teasingly, though his words were genuine. "Do you usually dance in the middle of a sidewalk or is it just my lucky night?"
"Mhm," Leia confirmed with a nod, watching him, almost afraid of the very thought of looking away, as if he'd disappear or she'd wake up and all of this would be a dream. "It was George's idea overall. We've been making the plan for a while now, keeping track of rounds, looking for the best path out, so on and so forth." She grinned, admittedly proud of hers and George's teamwork in figuring it all out. "It's just down that road there." She nodded in the direction of the school, not wanting to motion otherwise, not wanting to move away from him or let go.
