Molly smiled as she heard Calum's words, hearing the sincerity behind them and thanking every higher power that existed that Calum was hers. "All thanks to you for keeping my head on my shoulders." She laughed, stroking behind Duke's ears with her words. Molly reached to get a plate, smiling as she listened to Calum's words, just appreciating the sound of his voice. "I can't wait either, baby. God, we need a movie night so bad." She complained with a pout. "Our bed feels too big and too empty without you." She admitted quietly, but when Calum asked about the cookies, Molly perked up slightly. "Oh! Peanut butter, chocolate chip." She grinned. "I needed something sweet so I went to the store for a bar of chocolate, and I thought that, you know, a few dozen cookies would last a lot better than Reese's Pieces." She teased. "I can't wait, babe." She sighed a little with that. "I don't know, since I left tour, time's just gone so slowly. What the hell am I meant to do when my better half is another country away?"
Luke climbed out of his Uber with a quick thank you to the driver, promising to give him a five star rating on the app. Grabbing his luggage, Luke thanked him again, making sure that he didn't shut the car door too harshly. Wanting to keep up his facade, Luke, with heart pounding erratically in his chest, read Ainsley's text, feeling excitement run through him, as if he was about to skydive. Luke decided, this was the best kind of love. She does, but what happens if we have a baby one day, Ains? Would she be jealous?! And Luke grinned with the thought, because dammit, his plans were big, and he wanted to go bigger. He wanted his whole life to revolve around Ainsley - marriage, a baby, maybe another dog. Grinning with the thought, Luke hummed happily and made his way up the garden path, gently pushing open their front door so he wouldn't disturb Petunia. Seeing the kitchen door was open, Luke smiled, knowing that's where he'd find the love of his life. Grinning, clutching to his t-shirt slightly as his stomach did backflips, Luke gently shut the front door, holding his breath as he did. Satisfied it hadn't alerted Petunia or Ainsley, Luke placed his bag by the door and made his way to the kitchen, leaning against the door frame as he watched his, hopefully, soon to be fiancee cook, manoeuvring around the kitchen so naturally, it amazed Luke. "You know," Luke started, grinning. "I think we should ditch cooking and head to the beach. But I'd love a hug first."
