[Hope this is a good start.]

Alexa had just finished making dinner for herself and her older two brothers, Derrick and Adrian, and were now eating together like they normally did as a family. Alexa sat quietly and ate her dinner as her brothers were talking about their day and how they were able to find the one werewolf that had been terrorizing people in town and killed it. Although the people in their town fearedand hatred towards the werewolf breed, Alexa had always thought it was cruel for her brothers, and other people who protected the city, to kill the other creatures. She didn't know the whole history between humans and werewolves, but from the bits and pieces that she was told, Alexa couldn't help but feel bad for the werewolves. She assumed that they were scared of the new creatures and new territory and maybe felt threatened and only acted out of instinct and to protect themselves and Alexa thought the same case applied to the recent killing. Especially, there are jerks out there that like to terrorize the werewolf species, just to kill them right after.
Grayson heard the loud gun shot from the distance and growled as he could smell the scent of the human beings coming close. He didn't understand why they keep terrorizing his kind and killing them as some sort of joke. He knew about the history between humans and wolves and how a freak accident from their end caused rift between the two species. However, Grayson doesn't think things should stay like that, but it makes it harder for him and the other werewolf species to trust a human nowadays.

Hearing another gun shot in the air, but this time it was a little closer, Grayson barked at his pack, telling them to leave the premises and go home for their safety. He was filling in as the pack leader for the moment, but he knew his time actually take the role as the pack's Alpha would be happening soon and to be honest, he wasn't sure if he was the best candidate to fill the role. Seeing that everyone had followed his direction, Grayson checked the territory for any stragglers before going into hiding himself until the close was clear.

Jordan didn't like the hunters this close to the border. They weren't allowed to hunt on wolf territory but just like some wolves hunted on human territory so did the hunters hunt not heir territory. The problem was that it wasn't the packs close to the boundaries that hunted on human territories. It was wolves farther from the hunters that didn't understand the repercussions. Jordan looked down from the top of the hill on the town and growled softly as the hunters moved through the trees beneath. He barked telling his brother to hurry up and catch up with the group too. His brother was set to be the leader of the pack and he second in command. What that meant is that he would be his brothers charge and his protector. Jordan disposed the humans and every year they trained more and more hunters proving his point why they shouldn't even bother. Jordan ran back to the village shifting as he got to their house. He walked in butt naked and his grandmother threw some cloths at him that hit him hard in the face knocking the wind out of him. "Put on some damn cloths Jordan." she said a laugh in her voice. She seemed to always be laughing at something. Jordan chuckled and slipped into the pants and caught the shirt she threw at him. "Thanks grandma." he said. It was getting easier to shift. The full moon would be coming up in a little and the hunting would pick up on both sides. The nice thing about being a werewolf was the ability to be in wolf form the worst thing was that the three nights that the moon was full they didn't have a choice.
Emilia knew that the town had outlawed anyone but hunters being outside at night the week and a half before the full moon but as the sun started to dip and people stated to hurry to get inside she mossed about kicking stones and humming stopping to talk to old ladies that stopped her to tell her about their very handsome and promising grandsons. She always left chuckling. Most likely she would be married off in some big political move her father organized. Until then she was planning on playing up her private life with all the adventures her eventual controlling husband wouldn't allow her to do. Emilia grinned waving at some old men making them blush before she started up the drive of her home the gate opening for her as if by magic but if their family had any magic they wouldn't be allowed to live in town limits.

Emilia got ready for dinner wearing the fancy dress that had been laid out for her. They were expecting company tonight. A dinner party with some of the most powerful hunter families. As a thank you to them for their diligent efforts in keeping the town safe. Emilia thought it was stupid. The arrogance of these hunters drove her mad and if it wasn't her for father she didn't think it would be safe to be in the same room with them.

After dinner was over and her brothers were in their "man cave" with a couple of other wolf hunters, Alexa was cleaning up the kitchen like she did every day. Sometimes Alexa hated living with her brothers because she felt like she was their maid instead of being their sister. She wasn't allowed to do much besides cook, clean, and take care of the house while Derrick and Adrian worked and get to go out with their friends. The only time Alexa was allowed to leave the house is when she needed to go grocery shopping, in which she was either accompanied by one of her brothers or by one of their friends if her brothers are busy.

However, Alexa had been sneaking out of the house lately where she goes to through the woods to her new spot that has a small abandoned cabin, a creek that glows beautifully when the moon shines on it. The spot itself was naturally beautiful, and calming and it was where Alexa likes to sneak off to when her brothers are asleep, just so she could get out of the house. However, Alexa didn't understand why someone would abandon this little spot she discovered, but she didn't care because it was now her spot and she couldn't wait to head over there tonight.
Grayson knew that his brother, Jordan, had came back safely when he heard him laugh. Sighing, he left his room to go to the kitchen where he saw his grandmother cooking dinner for them and his brother who was still shirtless, although he had a shirt in his hand. Sighing once more, Graysom sat down at the dining table as he continued to watch his grandma cook while ignoring Jordan's gaze on him. "I dont think I'm fit to be an Alpha, grandma. I dont think we should keep fighting the humans but make peace with them. I mean that freak accident happened hundreds of years ago. We are completely different from our ancestors back then and I'm sure the same is for the humans as well." He said and then looked at Jordan who had a mean snarl on his face.

"Come on Jordan, if anything I'm sure you can find a better werewolf that would be a better fit to be the next Alpha than me. I know it's the law where it is the next of kin to take over, but since you are the current Alpha, you can change the laws." Grayson said, looking away from his brother. He then smiled when their grandmother set a plate of food in front of him. Grayson kissed her cheek and smiled warmly. "Thanks grandma. You're the best." He said and began digging into the meal.

Jordan shook his head. "No Grayson. I only have charge while father and mother are out negotiating with the other packs to try and diminish the hunting on the human lands. And accidents do still happen Grayson don't be so naive. Besides with the humans the way they are now there could never be peace. They hunt us for sport as much as they like to think it is for protection. You will be alpha Grayson and I think it is time you come to terms with it!" he growled pulling on his shirt and sitting down softening as his grandmother placed the plate in front of him. "Thanks Gran." he said and sighed as she smacked his head. "Jordan you need to let your brother express his feelings, you don't understand the weight that comes with life long commitment like being alpha. It is a lot of pressure and he would be foolish not to look carefully at it." she said and Jordan sighed. "Fine as long as he knows it is a responsibility he can not run from." he said and leaned back in his chair shoving food into his mouth. He was about to loose his mind looking after Grayson. This was only the beginning as well he couldn't imagine how it would become increasingly more difficult when he was actually alpha and there was threats to his life.
Dinner commenced and she was presented to the group as if she was one of the courses on the menu. Emilia sat beside her father and the most powerful hunter bachelor. Obviously the placement of her seat was no coincidence tonight. They had guests over often but it seemed tonight her father wanted to see what kind of chemistry there was between her and the potential groom to be. If Emilia could get away with it should be be as cols as she could be but already the gleam in the hunter's eye told her he was planning to poke all the right buttons and show something to her father that would make it enviable that they would be paired. She could see it all now and was powerless to stop it without truly ruining the image she had carefully constructed for her family to see. It made her sick to be trapped this way. Emilia was glad when dinner was served and the small talk and obvious ogling of her was over.

Alexa waited until her brothers down for the night before grabbing her bag that she packed earlier and climbing out the window of her bedroom. Although she has snacked out of the house numerous times, she always had to be careful so she wouldn't wake up Derrick and Adrian, or else they would literally put heavy duty bolts and locks on the windows if she were to be caught. Reaching the ground, Alexa took out her phone from her pocket and turned on the flash light to a low dim so that she could see as she goes through the woods but also to prevent the light being reflected and not wake up her brothers.

Fifteen minutes later, Alexa made it to her secret spot and made her way inside the small cabin. The cabin was the size of a very, very small studio apartment but without a kitchenette. Although the cabin at the time looked abandoned, there was was a sleeping cott left, however, Alexa made the cabin feel more homey as she continued to bring small things overtime.

Alexa made sure the cabin was locked and secured before sitting down on the sleeping cott. She grabbed her bag and took out the book she has been reading for the past couple days and her book light, before setting the alarm on her phone and placing it under her pillow. She then laid down on her back and picked back up on her reading until she fell asleep.
Grayson rolled his eyes when Jordan was ranting about how it was his duty to be the next Alpha. Grayson didn't want to be the next Alpha nor did he want to continue fighting against humans. He still believed that he could change the relationship between humans and werewolves so that neither species will no longer be in danger. Hearing his older brother still ranting about what his future duties are as leader, Grayson slammed his fist down against table, startling both their grandmother and Jordan.

"Just shut up Jordan. It's not always your way or the highway. I'm done talking about this." Grayson snarled as he was now in his brother's face while gripping his shirt in the process.

Letting go of Jordan and backing away, Grayson's facial expression soften as he saw the look on his grandmother's face. "I'm sorry grandma, I didnt mean for you to see me behave like this." He apologized to her, ignoring the grimace look on Jordan's face. "I'm going out for some fresh air, do you mind putting my dinner in the fridge grandma so I can finish it later?" He asked softly before leaving the kitchen and walked outside.

Jordan frowned as Grayson blew up on him. He stayed still as he yelled in his face. Once his brother had let go he sat back smoothing out his shirt resisting to try and calm his brother himself. He watched as his brother went storming out the house. He sighed and really wished he was outside as well somewhere far away enjoying the sounds and relaxing feel of nature.

Jordan looked at his grandmother who quietly put everything away. "You'll have to fix the cracks on the table later Jordan." she said and when he went to argue she turned to him sternly and quietly saying, "It was your insistence and lack of listening to both your brother and myself that caused it." she said he nodded softly after a moment. "Yes grandmother." he said and and started to eat silently. He was thinking an early night was in order. Tomorrow after fixing the table he would go out to the woods and do some exploring of his own letting his brother cool off. Their parents would return tomorrow anyways.
Emilia was glad when dinner was over but was surprised when the normal after dinner men meeting was put on hold while her father called her over to meet with him and another man. "Emilia my darling." he said and took her hand. "This is Lucas. I want you two to start getting aquatinted." he said and placed her hand in the mans. He was tall and blonde with piercing eyes that looked on the verge of a storm that if she wasn't careful she would get caught in and it wouldn't be too pleasant. Emilia smiled courtly and her father smiled. "Take her on a walk Lucas." he said and Emilia looked at him worriedly. She wasn't suppose to be out by herself but it seemed her father decided he wanted her to be reliant on Lucas.

Emilia walked down the dark road on the edge of the forest with Lucas. She loved the growing moon that provided light of their path. She let Lucas put her arm in the crook of his as they walked. She silently watched the forest thinking how stunning it looked. "They are dangerous this time of night you know." he said and smiled at her as if he expected her to look at him with fear. "But it's okay I will protect you." he said and she smiled. "Oh I'm not scared." she said and he chuckled. "Of course not you can trust me." he said and she frowned because that was not what she meant. Emilia smiled. "The woods are really beautiful don't you think?" she asked. Lucas laughed. "Only a naive girl like you would say such things. I bet you think that the wolves aren't dangerous then?" He laughed and she frowned pulling away. "Well how do you know they all are? There has to be good ones just like there are bad humans too." she said and he stopped frowning turning to her. He grabbed her shoulders roughly shaking her. "You listen to me woman you will learn to hold your tongue if you are to be my wife one day." he said said and took her face in his hand squeezing hard. He smiled and looked her over. "My you are beautiful." he said.

Lucas leaned in kissing her roughly. She bit his tongue as he went to stick it in her mouth and he cursed stepping back and backhanding her. Emilia gasped and looked up at him her face red beneath her hands she was holding her cheek with. He went to grab her again and she slapped him stomping on his foot then kicking him in the nuts before turning and running off into the forest. Emilia ignored the way the branches tore at her dress and scraped her skin as she ran through the branches. She didn't realize she was crying as she stumbled into the forest tripping and falling down the other side of the hill she had been running up.
