Esther's mother nodded, offering them a smile. "I'm glad you came here first. I always feel like I'm the last person to be kept in the loop about things, especially when it comes to you and your family."

"We don't mean to, mother. We'll try to be better, I promise." Esther assured her, looking up at Blaise ad he asked if there was something else she wanted to do here, her eyes moving away from his to shift to look out toward the back garden where the little unmarked grave was. "..No. I'm all set here, I think.. Thank you for having us, mother." She said after a moment, offering the woman a smile before she turned to Blaise. "We should go speak with your family."

"I think it had a lot to do with us being in the same house." Blaise explained to her mother. He glanced down at Esther for a moment, giving her a small nudge as he started to speak. "I think Esther is so excited about the engagement that she forgot to mention the other bit of good news that she got last night. We have a house and are moving in. It is pretty close so it will be easy to come visit."

He gave a nod to Esther as she mentioned speaking to his family. "We should. We don't want to miss my father so it will be important to get there before he heads off to the committee meeting tonight." Blaise glanced up at her mother with a smile. "Thank you for having us. And we'll get you the address to the new house via text."

Esther blushed a bit as Blaise said that she was being forgetful, offering her mother a sheepish smile. "Yes, it's a lovely house. You should come over soon for dinner so you can see it, I think you'd really like it." She said, giving her fiance's hand a squeeze.

Esther's mother nodded, offering her daughter a smile. "I'll hold you to that invitation. I'll let you go, I'm sure you have a busy day ahead with telling your parents and moving in." She smiled, pressing a kiss to each of their cheeks before showing them to the door. "Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you both." She said as she wished them a good day.

Esther turned to Blaise once they were back at the car, smiling a little as she looked at him. "That went well.. To your parents to tell them the news and to start bringing our stuff to the new house?"

"Yes, that certainly sounds like a plan to me," Blaise said as he wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her into his side. It was a short walk to the car but he wanted her close to him. He leaned over and pressed a kiss against the top of her head with a small hum. "Since most of the house is decorated, the move shouldn't be too difficult. We probably will be done by next week and can invite your mother to dinner then, if you wanted."

When the arrived at the car, Blaise headed over to Esther's side with her and opened the door for her. Once she was inside, Blaise closed it before moving over to his own side and getting in. "I know my family will also want to see the house. Our friends as well but they can wait a bit longer." He said with a chuckle. Turning his head, Blaise pulled out of the driveway.

Esther smiled as he tugged her into his side, resting her hand over his chest as they walked. "That all sounds nice. I'm excited to live there with you, Blaise. It's such a lovely house. I'll never be able to thank you enough for everything you've done." She said, leaning up to press a kiss to his cheek before they got in the car and began to drive to his parent's hosue.

She nodded a bit as he spoke, smiling over at him. "That's true. I agree, showing our parents around first definitely makes the most sense. But having our friends over at some point would be nice. We could have a dinner party or something, maybe use it to also invite them all to the wedding, assuming we make a plan for a date and all that."

A pleasant hum came out of Blaise as Esther pressed a kiss against his cheek. Every time he heard Esther talk about the house, a shot of happiness went through him. It had been a huge risk. one that he worried over for months. So the man was more than pleased that it worked out. "I am sure we can come up with some kind of agreement to make us even," Blaise teased as he gave her a little wink. "Though we can talk about that when we get home."

"It would be nice. I know that they would like to see our new home, and especially hear about our wedding. I guess it would depend on how fast we can plan everything but giving them a date when they come over would be a good idea. But yes, lets get settled in and have our family come and we can figure out the rest from there... Unless you already have a date in mind?" Blaise glanced over at her for a moment before moving his eyes back to the road.

Esther blushed at his wink, but reached over and squeezed his hand as she nodded, leaning over to press another kiss to his cheek for good measure. "I think that sounds fair." She smiled before sitting back in her seat, although she kept hold of his hand, not wanting to let go.

She nodded a bit as he spoke about having their friends and family come over to see their new home, as well as what to tell them about the wedding. She shook her head when he asked about a date though. "Not really.. I think I'd like to have the wedding sometime in the fall, since that was when we met, but I'm not sold on that idea. Plus that's either a few months or over a year away, so it depends on when you want to get married." She explained, looking over at him with a little smile. She didn't really mind either way, and quite honestly wouldn't mind just eloping at this point, but he knew that their families and friends would want something special.

Blaise was quiet for a moment as he thought it over. When did he want to get married? He couldn't be sure considering the lack of information he currently had. It would depend on how hard it was to plan a wedding, and what kind of wedding they wanted. Esther wasn't into big, flashy things, so Blaise assumed that she would want something more simple. A wedding that was intimate and welcoming to their family and friends.

As he pulled into the driveway of his old home, Blaise parked the car before turning to look at Esther. "I think fall would be great." He said softly before leaning over and kissing her on the lips. He had always enjoyed the fall season, and Esther was right, it was when they met. Slowly, he pulled away before letting out a small hum. "What if we got a wedding planner? It would make it a lot easier to have the wedding this year."

Esther hadn't known what she'd been expecting Blaise to say about when he wanted to get married, but it certainly wasn't hearing him agree to getting married in a little over four months from now. "But that's so much work in such a short amount of time.. Are you sure? We'd have to start everything almost immediately." She said after he pulled away from the kiss, obviously a bit worried about having to rush and put all that pressure on them both.

She smiled though at the mention of a wedding planner, squeezing his hands. "Yes, it would.. Are you really sure though?" She asked again, not wanting him to do this just because it was what she wanted.

"Yes, I am sure." Blaise told her. "I want us to get married. I think Fall would be a good time. Though I do not have much opinion on the season as long as it is not winter. That is much too cold and I do not wish to deal with the snow. And it would be nice to have some portion of our wedding outside. But besides that..." He let out a hum. "If you want to do Fall, then we should. But to be honest, I don't want to wait over a year to marry you. In all truth, I wish I had married you yesterday."

Leaning forward, he pressed a kiss against her forehead with a happy hum before leaning back. "As for the wedding planner, I don't think either of us knows how to plan a wedding to being with. I am not quite sure what we would do without one?"

Esther smiled as Blaise spoke, squeezing his hands. "I would have married you yesterday too.. I'd marry you today, if you wanted." She laughed a bit, although she was serious. Having a wedding ceremony for their families and friends was a must, but she also wouldn't mind just doing something private between the two of them if it meant she could be his wife sooner.

"If we didn't get a wedding planner, we'd probably just have to elope." She teased with a laugh, resting her head against his shoulder. "We'd figure it out though, I'm sure. But having a wedding planner makes things much more manageable."

"We should just get a wedding planner then. I would personally be happy just to get eloped but I really don't want to hear the complaining from our families." Blaise said with a chuckle before he got out of the car. He then walked over to Esther's side and opened up the door, helping her out. "Speaking of families, it is time to tell mine the good news."

He wrapped an arm around her waist and lead her into the house. Once inside, Blaise glanced around for a moment, trying to think of where they all could be. Though when he glanced over at the time, Blaise figured that it was lunch and at least one of them would be in the dining room. She he lead her over that way before whispering in her ear. "You tell them about the house and then I'll tell them about the engagement."
