The Kingdoms For Which We Come

    Name: Vidour
Geography: Mostly forested, with some fields/plains areas near the border of your country, as well as some mountainous regions near the borders of some other countries
Standing: They are friendly with other kingdoms, but are reasonably hostile with your kingdom, because of their history
    Colors: Blue and Yellow
Culture: Hardworking people, primary industry is lumber/quarrying with some fishing and farming; culturally very similar to the British Isles (art, music, dance, etc. wise)

    Name: Crearia Empire
Geography: Mountainous, Crearia is surrounded by mountains on all sides. It is a hard place to invade, as there are only three paths that are deemed safe to enter at any given times. The first is through a tunnel towards the north, but it floods easily during the rainy seasons. Second is to the south, it's a slightly flattened trail, but is very bumpy and is known to have avalanches during winter or mudslides in summer. The last path is not really known, but it is located towards the West, and actually cuts through two separate mountains. Lots of mercenaries hide around here as it's an easy place to ambush people. Because of the higher elevation, the Crearia Empire are known for their high supply of apples, strawberries, carrots, and wheat. Hunting here is also quite easy.
Standing: Neutral, tend to seek the best path before taking action.
    Colors: Blue and Silver.
Main Belief systems: Angels, they believe that they are descended from angels and are close to the one true holy mother. Tres. This is the mother angel, she looks over everyone as her faithful children. Each season is honored to a different angle. Wiska, Winter. Fava, Fall, Numeria, Spring. Xania, Summer.
Culture: Crearia is a male-dominated Empire. The man is the head of the house, the man provides the protection and money. That doesn't mean that a woman can't be respected though! Over the years, it's just custom for the man to take responsibility for any wrongdoing a woman in the house has done. He is her shield.
Crearia isn't EXTREMELY religious as an Empire, but they do like to hold at least one festival a year. Usually including music, dancing, and a sacrifice to the angle who is in charge of that month. Thanking them for the harvest or for protection from the upcoming season or storms.

It was a normal day, nothing out of the ordinary. Aelia's school was just getting out and the loner was on her way to the library to return a few books. When it happened. First, it was the palpitations. She cast them off as having a build-up of gas from something she ate. Then, came the dizziness, an odd symptom of stomach aches, but Aelia again ignored the feeling. Finally, came the blackness. At first, it was just a lightness in her head, then it just completely took over. The sound of her world going silent as night.

Then, it felt like an eternity, but Aelia did come back around. With a loud gasp, her bright blue eyes shot open. Her eyes took a moment to adjust, but it was clear that she wasn't looking at a hospital ceiling or her school's ceiling. No, the ceiling that was before her was marble. Plus, there was a statue of some woman who looked like she was praying to her right. "Ugh." Lia groaned as she slowly sat up, her hands raising to rest against her head as it pounded against her skull.

"Uwaha." An older voice gasped out, followed by the sound of some kind of metal falling to the floor. Opening her eyes and looking towards the sound, Lia laid eyes on an older man with a bald spot in the middle of his head. Shifting her gaze slightly, Lia saw that he had been holding what looked like a metal candle holder. It was a pretty one too, all silver with pretty sapphire gems around the top part. Shifting her eyes back towards the man, Lia frowned slightly t how scared he seemed. "U-um, are you okay?" Lia asked quietly, as she slowly shifted her body to the man. "A-ah!" He screamed as he turned around and ran away from the young girl.

"Um, okay?" Aelia mumbled, slightly confused. Her bright blue eyes looked around as she tried to gain her bearings. It seemed that the young lady was in some kind of a church or something. Why she'd be brought to a church was beyond her, she just fainted. Her clothes had been changed as well. She was no longer wearing her skinny jeans and favorite Hollywood undead shirt, instead, she was in a white silk nightgown of some sort. "Where am I?" She mumbled to no one as she slowly edged off of the marble table she seemed to have been laying on. "How did I even get here?" Once her bare feet touched the cool light grey marble flooring, Lia hopped off the table safely.

Slowly, she turned and looked back towards the statue that was looming over her once more. Her gaze seeming to be drawn to its face. "Is that... blood?" She asked, her voice quiet as she noticed what looked like red stains coming down from the angel's eyes.

    --

What a day today had been. The first clear day in months, the sun was out and it wasn't ungodly cold! Today was going to be a good day! Well, at least the Prince had thought that it would be. He had planned to go out with a few of his closest friends for a ride through the town. Check on the people and see if they had faired alright through the winter months. As the snowfall had made it almost impossible for the Prince or anyone for that matter, to travel very often.

What had changed the day from a good day to a slightly annoying day? Was when an older man came running towards the Prince and his group of friends. Spewing nonsense about finding an odd girl in the river. Saying something about her looking like a foreigner from another country or something. Orion hadn't really been paying much attention, as he was too focused on commanding his men to try and console the man enough to talk straight. They managed to get the directions from the man after promising to make a royal arrest for the older man and promise him safety from this foreign invader.

Orion had thought that the man was all out of sorts because a merchant had stumbled upon his humble abode. Simply out of sorts because of the long boat ride and because of the shifts in water depths making it hard to nail down. What he encountered though, was not really something that he had planned on seeing. Nor was it something he really was sure on how to take care of. As a girl, sitting at the couples table, looking like she was just showered with mud, sat.

"We'll take it from here," Orion said as he motioned for the woman of the house, who looks quite nervous, to leave the main area. His dark eyes then looked towards the girl who looked like she was covered in mud once more. His boot-clad feet moving to the front door and closing it before he moved to take a seat across from the young looking mess of a girl in front of him. Orion leaned forward slightly, his fingers intertwining as he let out a sigh and took in the young girl once more. "Alright, who are you and what do you want here?" He asked, getting straight to the matter. Not wasting any breath on needless hearsay or questions that he really didn't care about.

Prince Theodore had been meeting with the head Cleric of the church, discussing the arrangements for an upcoming festivities now that winter was ending and summer was approaching. However, the meeting had been interrupted by a very distressed priest, claiming that a girl, a foreigner, had appeared out of nowhere on the main alter in the chapel. Theodore calmed the priest down, reassuring him that everything would be alright, and that he would personally go investigate while they waited for further authorities to arrive.

He made his way downstairs from the office, instinctively crossing himself before crossing the threshold, although he stopped in his tracks when he spotted the unfamiliar girl, frowning quizzically. “Excuse me, but who are you?” He asked, footsteps echoing off the high marble walls as he slowly approached her.
Helena had had a terrible day. She had been walking through the special collections stacks at her university’s library when she had suddenly felt faint, and after she thought the wave of nausea had passed, she had blacked out. Instead of hitting the floor, however, she awoke in a half frozen river, the cold water shocking her awake rather quickly. She broke through the thin layer of ice at the surface of the water, left over from the last cold night of spring before the temperatures warmed up. She swam quickly to shore, coughing water from her lungs as she laid in the mud, trying to orient herself. When the cold finally seeped into her bones she stood, quickly heading toward a small farmhouse nearby.

She was incredibly grateful for the kind farmer and his wife who let her into their home, as well as the warm bowl of soup and blanket that they gave her to help her warm up. While she was asking the wife where she was, she didn’t notice the husband slip out, unaware that he’d gone to alert the equivalent of the local police, more focused on the dismissive answers the wife was giving.

She looked up with a frown when Orion walked in, still reasonably soaked and muddy, the white nightgown type dress ruined, although she was incredibly grateful for the warm wool blanket that had been wrapped around her shoulders.

She frowned as she looked across the table at him, setting her spoon down in the bowl. “What..? I.. I don’t know where I am. I woke up in the river, and I walked here so I wouldn’t freeze.. I’m pretty sure my toes have frost bite.” She frowned, looking down at her bare and muddy feet, sticking them out slightly so he could see the cold, bluish purple toes, although the little rose shaped birthmark on her heel was clearly visible underneath the mud.

The beautiful engraved details really caught Aelia's eye. Thinking to herself that whoever had managed to sizzle it, had some impressive skills. Surely it was made by hand and not a digital copy from one of those new 3D copy printers. Right? "Wow." She said quietly as she blinked, her eyes a little dry after staring at the beautiful statue.

Then, at the sound of the voice, Aelia swirled around. Her gown flowing around her legs because of her movements. Her eyes widen slightly at the attractive man who had appeared out of nowhere. Be cool Aelia, be cool. She thought to herself as she took in the tall man in clothes that looked like they were from the Victorian era. "Uh..." Such a smooth reply. Aelia gulped as the man started to make his way towards her, instinctively, she started to move back a little. "A-Aelia." She stuttered as she raised her hands in defense, her birthmark showing clearly.

The young girl couldn't help but flinch as the back of her legs hit the table she woke up on. Causing her to sit on the edge.

    --

Orion pursed his lips into a thin line and let out a small sigh. This seemed like a case of a runaway girl, maybe a small case of amnesia or something. A doctor would probably be a good place to start with all of this. "Look, girl." Orion started, only to hold his breath as he glanced down towards her foot. The mark that was clear through the dried mud causing the blood in the young Prince's veins to go cold as he reached out and grabbed onto the girl's foot, holding it leveled with his knee.

"Arther, look." The young Prince said as he motioned for his closest friend to come forth and look at the mark. "Vidour." Orion murmured, an unpleasant look appearing upon the Prince's face as he dropped her foot and stood up. "Under the power invested in me, Prince Orion of Crearia, you are under arrest." He said as he motioned for his men to grab the girl.

Orion then headed towards the door and walked out. He needed to have the girl cleaned and locked in a room in the castle. This peasant house was not safe for a talk like this. This was a case of possible invasion.

Theodore froze when she spoke her name, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion, thinking maybe she might have just been named after the ancient princess. However, when he spotted the birthmark on her hand his face went pale.

"Aelia... Aelia Valerius?" He asked slowly, glancing up at the large statue in the church, at his country's god, praying silently that this was just some joke, but in his gut he knew that it wasn't.
"Hey!" Helena protested as he grabbed her foot, glaring slightly as she jerked her foot back, frowning across the table at him. However, as he spoke her eyes widened, looking between him and the other men in the room, standing quickly as the other men approached her, a million thoughts running through her head before she finally came to her senses to speak.

"Wait! Vidour? Crearia? You're joking, right? This is all some joke, right? Because if it isn't, and you're really Prince Orion, and it's still April... You're supposed to be going hunting later, right? Y-You're going after the white boar.." She called, giving one of the men who attempted to grab her arm a decent shove, glaring up at him. Back at university she had been a history student, studying the ancient Kingdoms of Vidour and Crearia, and was very familiar with their history. She even knew about Prince Orion, and how he was injured on a hunting expedition that had been chasing a white boar that had somehow crossed the border from Vidour, and he ended up losing a leg.

As her name escaped from the man's lips. Aelia couldn't help but frown. Her eyes narrowing slightly as she looked at him oddly. "How do you know my name?" She asked quietly. Her arms slowly lowering as she suddenly felt vulnerable and crossed her arms over her breast to keep them from his view.

"Who.. are you?" Aelia asked, skepticism obvious in her voice as she started to wonder if she should run from this guy. Would she even be able to run from him, should be the question actually? His larger build looked like it could squish the small girl in an instant.

    ----

As the weird girl continued to speak, Orion froze. His eyes narrowing slightly as he turned towards the girl. Not really sure how she knew so much, and yet didn't know where she was at the same time. "Who are you? Witch." His dark brown eyes narrowed as he stared at the woman.

"Get her on a horse, we're heading home," Orion ordered once more, not wanting to talk about the arch-enemy of his Kingdom in a house that wasn't the castle. "We're not safe here, the house has ears." His eyes moved towards the room the kind old lady was in, then towards the rest of the group.

Theodore muttered a quick prayer as he crossed himself once more, licking his dry lips as he stepped closer, motioning for the guards who had arrived to enter the chapel as well.

"My name is Prince Theodore of Vidour, and I must take you into custody for questioning." He stated simply, pulling his jacket, which was beautifully embroidered, and offering it to her, the poor girl looking terrified.
Helena scrunched up her nose as he called her a witch, squirming and kicking her legs as two guards simply grabbed her arms and began to carry her out of the house, her feet hovering a good six inches from the floor.

"What? No, I'm not a witch. My name is Helena St. Claire, and I just know a lot about your country's history." She huffed in irritation, continuing to struggle as the guards brought her outside.

"But seriously, skip the hunt. The boar will spook your horse, you'll fall and break an arm, and then the boar will charge and gore your leg. Your arm will be fine, but the wound on your leg will get infected and it'll have to be amputated." She tried to warn him despite his rude behavior toward her. "With you unable to attend the big diplomatic meeting between Vidour and Crearia later this month, war will break out and both countries will annihilate one another, leaving that other kingdom whose name I always forget to conquer what's left."

Aelia's lips slowly dipped into a frown as she listened to the man speak. She had no idea what was going on, one moment she was at school and the next she was here. "I just want to go home." She mumbled quietly.

Her hand shook slightly, as Aelia took his Jacket. "Thank you," Lia mumbled quietly as she slipped his jacket on and held it closed. Then, it was like a light switch went off in Aelia's mind. "Wait, did you say Prince Orion?" She asked, looking at the man confused, her eyes glancing towards the guards nervously.

    --

A loud sigh escaped from Orion as this girl kept going on and on. Slowly, Orion stopped his walk and just turned to look at the girl. His expression not amused by the lies this woman was telling. Although, he did want to know how she knew about the meeting that was coming up.

"I said, quiet." Orion kept his expression blank as he looked at the girl. His eyes showing the slight irritation he held. Then, he got onto his horse, motioning for the guards to put the girl in front of him. He'd hold onto her on the ride to the castle.

Theodore frowned a bit as he watched the two guards move up to flank her, gesturing for her to follow him out of the chapel. He ran his fingers through his hair as he sighed. This was not how he had wanted to spend his day, interrogating a foreigner who was impersonating an ancient princess.

He turned back to look at her. "We'll do our best to get you home, in time.." He stated simply, frowning a little. "Yes, I'm Prince Theodore.."
Helena glared right back at Orion, swinging her leg hard enough and far enough to kick his shin with enough force to leave at least a small bruise. She winced as the guards squeezed her arms painfully in response, continuing to protest as they lifted her up onto the horse with Orion.

She looked over her shoulder to glare at him, tugging her blanket around her shoulder tightly. "I'm not lying, and you're incredibly rude." She stated simply, turning back to stare ahead as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Hope you like your leg.." She mumbled sorely.

Her heart rate started to speed up as the two guards with the Prince came up and stood by her sides. Allowing for now chance for the young girl to escape if she dared to. Her hands held the jacket tighter around herself as she saw the Prince looking at her. Bright blues quickly turned down towards the ground, Aelia lost all courage to speak to this guy. His dark eyes just looked like they could see through her body.

"Thank you." She mumbled quietly, not quite sure what else to say in a situation like this. Her bright blue eyes glanced up towards the Prince as she wondered what was going to happen to her now. She had no idea what was going on, or where she was.

    --

Orion held in a gruff grumble as the girl had kicked his shin. He clenched his firsts around the rains as he held in his annoyance. "Do you ever listen?" He asked through grit teeth as he allowed for one of his arms to wrap around her waist securely before he commanded for his horse to start the short run back towards the castle. His eyes glancing down at the girl every once in a while.

Then, once they were at the castle, Orion called for a guard to help the girl down. "Take her to the guest room nearest mine. I need to collect Sir Hawkins and Sir Morgan." Orion said, referring to the Castle's head doctor and head Historian.

Theodore walked ahead of the guards, murmuring an apology to the Cleric as he passed, promising to return soon to continue with the preparations for the upcoming festival. Once outside he mounted his horse, gesturing for a guard to help lift the girl up onto his horse with him, holding out an arm to guide her onto the horse.

The main city of Vidour was beautiful, located in the center of the oldest forest in the country, the old stone buildings built amidst the trees, none of them breaking the canopy, except for the castle, whose towers pierced the canopy and reached up toward the sky.

"Just a quick ride to the castle, then we'll work on getting you home." He explained softly.
"Are you ever nice?" Helena retorted, falling silent as he spurred the horse on. Despite not wanting to be anywhere near him, she began to grow colder as they made their way to the castle, leaning back against his chest to try to soak up some of his warmth, her lips turning a little blue and her shoulders shaking a little as she shivered.

She frowned as she was taken off the horse once at the castle, looking around with wide eyes at the beautiful scenery. She continued to protest as the guards carried her through the castle to the room Orion had instructed she be brought to, not appreciating when the guards simply shoved her into the room and locked the door after they closed it.

She spent a few minutes trying to tug the door open before giving up and moving to sit in a chair by the window, staring outside at the people bustling around outside.

With delicate hands, Aelia accepted the Prince's help onto his horse. Her bottom lip sucking in slightly as the horse started to move. This was Aelia's first time on a horse and the wobbly movements caused the girl to grow ever nervous. She had no idea if this was even safe, two people on a horse at the same time, that is.

Bright ocean blue eyes glanced around as the two rode through the town. Her focus on the beauty of the town taking more of her attention, then the fear of falling off the horse. "Wow." She breathed out quietly as she took in the architect of the buildings. They surely didn't make placed like this back home.

Aelia's gaze shifted upwards as she listened to Theo speak. Her gaze focusing on the Prince as her words sank in. "Kay." She mumbled quietly as she then turned her gaze back towards the scenery that surrounded them. The air here was so clear, unlike the city smudge that filled the air. Aelia closed her eyes and breathed in deeply through her nose, then let it out as a sigh as she slowly opened her eyes. "It's so... peaceful here." She meant for that to come out as a though, but hearing it be said, Aelia couldn't help but blush in embarrassment instead,

    --

Once in the castle, Orion fetched the two people who he felt fit the job the best. This woman was either crazy, or she was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. For all he knew, she could actually be a Princess and he could be in big trouble if she was found. Or, she could be a crazy person. Either way, Orion was out of luck today.

"Margret, can you bring a pot of your lemon honey tea to the guest room next to mine?" Orion asked a kind looking, old woman, as he walked down the hall. "Yes, your highness." The old maid mumbled as she stumbled towards the kitchen to make her famous tea. Meanwhile, Orion headed back towards the room.

As soon as the guards that were stationed in front of the door saw Orion, they moved. The young Prince made no move to knock as he just walked into the room. "Doctor Morgan, please. Attend to..." He paused, trying to remember the girl's name. "Helena." Orion motioned for the doctor to start his work, while he moved to sit in a chair across from a large bed. "Tea will be here in a few, have a seat so the doctor can treat your toes." It was meant to be more so advice, but it came out sounding like a command.

Theodore couldn't help but chuckle a little at her comment about the city, having the guards help her off the horse and escort her to a guest room while he went to discuss things with the royal historian and doctor, hoping that they would be able to help identify the mystery girl upstairs.

Theodore headed upstairs once he had chatted with them, letting himself in with the doctor and historian following behind him. He mumbled a quiet greeting before taking a seat at the table, watching her. "If it's alright with you, the doctor here will take a look at you, make sure everything is alright." He explained.
Helena frowned as she turned to look at him when he came into the room, looking at him skeptically before moving to sit on the edge of the bed, allowing the doctor to tend to her feet.

She winced as the doctor cleaned and tended to the cuts on her feet, gratefully taking the cup of tea when it was brought in, holding the mug close as she began to warm up.

She looked at him over the rim of the cup as she sipped her tea, frowning a little as her lips gained a little color. "...Do you always look so constipated, or is it just today?" She asked with a little smirk, swinging her bandaged feet over the side of the bed once the doctor stepped back.

To be honest, once Aelia's feet were back on solid ground. It felt like she could breathe freely once more as the bumpy ride of the horse was enough to make her nauseous. Her bare feet leg her up into the castle as she followed the guards to a room.
She had barely walked in a few steps before the guards closed the door loudly. The sound echoing in the room for a moment before it grew quiet once more. "Rude much?" She mumbled quietly as she held the Prince's jacket close to herself as she looked around the room.

It was when her bright blue eyes landed on a painting of a King, that Aelia felt her body freeze. She had seen that painting before. It was of King Marcus Aslan Fournier, he was the last King before the fall of Vidour. That is, he was the last to rule as his son was killed on the front line during the war of Crearia and Vidour. But, why as it here?

Aelia jumped was brought out of her thoughts at the sound of the door opening. Her nerves once again raising as she laid eyes on more people. "But, I feel fine." She mumbled quietly but allowed the doctor to look at her anyway.

    --

Orion ignored everything that Helena said as he accepted his own cup of tea and relaxed in his seat. The beautifully crafted chair with gold trimming glistened slightly in the afternoon light. His dark eyes closed as he took a sip of his tea, allowing for his mind to relax a little bit before he sighted. "Alright." He said as he set his cup down gently on the table that was next to him. His hands once again folding together as he rested back, dark eyes on the girl.

"Why don't you start from the beginning for us," Orion said as he motioned for the historian to take his turn to look at Helena. "Who are you? Why are you here?" He may have asked these kinds of questions before, but Orion thought that since they were now in a quiet place, that things would be a little different.

"How did you know I was going to go hunting? Also, how in the world did you know about the white boar?" He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees as he waited with interest at what the possible answers might be.
His pink tongue slowly slipped out of his lips and wetted them. "Who do you pledge your alliance with?" He asked, then sat back as he waited for an answer to all, or any of his questions. This was an odd situation, and he wanted to know what was going on. This girl did not seem like the typical Crearia girl.

Theodore watched closely as the doctor inspected the girl for any obvious injuries or signs of trouble, the young prince hoping that he would find something to explain the strange girl's appearance. When the doctor stepped back and shook his head Theodore sighed a little, running his hands through his hair as he sat forward in his seat, resting his elbows on his knees as he watched the girl curiously.

"Alright.. Can you explain how you ended up in the chapel? How you got here? Who you are?" He asked, noticing her staring at the portrait of his father over his shoulder, the young man looking quite similar to the distinguished King.
Helena frowned as Orion repeated the questions he'd asked earlier, taking a few more sips of her tea before setting the cup in her lap, keeping her hands wrapped around the delicate porcelain.

"I've already told you. My name is Helena St. Claire. I woke up in the river about thirty minutes before you and your friends arrived. I have no earthly idea why I'm here, or how I got here." She huffed in irritation.

"I know about your hunting trip because I read about it in a book. I am.. Or at least I was, attending university to become a historian, focusing on the history of the ancient Kingdoms of Crearia and Vidour." She sighed in frustration, looking toward the window angrily, before her features softened to a look of distress. "I just... I want to go home."

It was weird having a doctor checkup with a guy she didn't even know in the room. The whole thing seemed quite lackluster as she was used to doctors asking questions about her health history, and other ailments she's had in the past. This doctor though, he just checked her pulse, eyes and her reflexes. He also only asked very basic questions. In Aelia's opinion, he needed to go back to doctor school.

Once the whole thing was done, Aelia turned her gaze back to the Prince. Her blue eyes still flickered to the picture every once in a while though. "No." Was her simple answer to what was asked of her. Blue eyes shifting towards Theo for a moment before she walked to the bed and sat crossed legged.

"I was walking to the library, then, I felt sick." Her gaze flickered to the doctor for a moment before she looked towards Theo. "Then, I woke up here. This isn't even my gown." Her lips moved into a frown as she felt like what she was saying wasn't making sense. "My name is Aelia Rose Valerius. I'm eighteen and I don't remember how I got here."

    --

As Orion listened to Helena. A sense of interest appeared on the Prince's face, but then he hid it as he tried to stay as neutral as he could possibly be. So, instead, he straightened himself in his seat and cleared his throat. Dark eyes focused on the smaller girl as she smokes, trying to wrap his mind around what was being said.

"What, university? None allow women." Orion spoke, not a hint of malice, but just saying what was true. At least for his time. "What sort of things do you remember? Anything before being in the river?" He asked, trying to coax the girl to speak some more about herself. Meanwhile, his eyes glanced towards the historian to see if the man might know what is going on.

"Did you possibly hear any voices or see anything before you got lost?" The historian asked, he raised a finger and pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose to see better. "A woman in white, perhaps?" He asked, thinking of the goddess of resurrection. Although, it was just a historical tail from before the split of the two kingdoms.

Theodore frowned a little as he listened to her story, shaking his head a little in confusion. He couldn't make sense of it, and she couldn't possibly be the ancient princess, that was just impossible.

He sighed, running a hand over his face. "Are you sure you can't remember anything?" He asked, glancing at the historian to see if he recognized any part of her story.

"Do you remember hearing or seeing anything before you woke up?" The historian asked, inspecting the girl carefully, paying particular attention to the birthmark on her wrist, making sure that it was real.
Helena frowned in confusion, shaking her head a little. "No, I do go to university.. And I've already told you, I don't remember anything. I was in the special collections area of the library, and I was going to put a book back that I had been using for research, and..."

She was cut off when the historian began to ask her questions, frowning a little. "You mean like your goddess? Yeah, I saw her.. But it was because I was looking at this old text had a depiction of her in it. I didn't hear voices or see anybody. I just passed out and woke up in a river in the middle of no where."

She frowned, continuing to sip her tea, finishing the warm liquid and setting the cup on the table as she tugged her blanket around her tighter. She glanced over at Orion with a frown, studying him for a moment before speaking. "Are you still going to go hunting?"

A small sigh escaped from Aelia as she folded her hands together and rested them in her lap. Her head shaking a little bit at the questions. "No, I don't remember anything. Although, does a painful headache count? My head felt like it was being squished before I passed out." Aelia's eyes flicker around the room at the men who were watching her.

"No..." Aelia drawled on as she narrowed her eyes in thought. "Wait, yes," Aelia said quietly. "I dreamed of some lady in white. She reached out to me, and when I touched her hand. My birthmark felt like it was on fire. Then, I was here. but, that was just a dream. Right?" After saying that, Aelia started to feel a little crazy.

"Um actually. Forget it, I swear I'm not crazy." She offered a small sheepish smile. A cute guy was finally talking to her and he was now going to think that she was crazy. Could today get any weirder?

    --

Suddenly, the young Prince felt like he was developing a headache. A small sigh past from his lips as he raised a hand to gently run his temples. Never in his twenty-something years, has he stumbled upon something quite like this. "Alright." He mumbled, not wanting to irritate this girl about some made up a university.

Once he was done rubbing his head, Orian was going to speak up once more but stopped as the Historian butted in. "No, the Prince will not." The older man said, which in turn awarded him a glare. No one told the Prince what to do! An Orian was about to remind the man of his place but stopped as the historian pointed at the woman's foot.

"You have the gift." The historian said as he walked towards the girl and kneeled down. He gently held the foot with the mark on it as his eyes glanced up at the girl. "You have come back to us, Princess. Ah, the King will be quite pleased!" Orion opened his mouth to respond but stopped himself as the man then went on about needing to talk to his father and the Priests as he ran out of the room.

Theodore sighed a bit, standing slowly before he cleared his throat, ready to dismiss her as a madwoman, but the historian held up a hand and shook his head, kneeling down before Aelia.

"What you saw, my lady," the historian began, looking up at her. "Was the goddess of Resurrection, and you are Princess Aelia of Vidour." He stated, bowing politely before standing to move out of the room, mumbling something about informing the king and the necessary nobles and diplomats.

Theodore remained frozen where he stood as he listened to the historian, staring at Aelia with wide eyes. He cleared his throat awkwardly as he looked at her, shaking his head a little. "I.. Can I get you anything... Princess?"
Helena frowned in confusion as the historian spoke, eyes widening as he spoke, starting to protest as the historian left, the young girl standing to try to follow him, although because of the cuts on her feet she stumbled, tripping on the carpet and falling to her knees.

She huffed in irritation from where she sat on the floor, looking up at Orion in confusion. "I'm not a princess.. There's got to be some mistake. And whatever 'gift' I'm supposed to have is just an education, which women should have access to."

She frowned, laying back on the floor to stare up at the ceiling, sniffling a little as tears welled into her eyes. "I just want to go home... I don't belong here.." She murmured softly.
