Even though Lia knew that Theo said he'd buy anything for her if she liked it, she didn't take him seriously. Nor did she want to be a bother and ask for things. Which is why, when he just started to speak to the vendor, she started to try and protest. Although her words fell on deaf ears as the deal was done. A small sigh escaped from Aelia as she happily held the necklace to her chest. "Thank you." She murmured quietly.

"Do you think you could help put it on?" She asked as she handed him the necklace. Then, turned around and held her hair up a little so that he could clasp it without it getting caught in her hair. "Ah, what a cute young couple." An elderly woman said as she hobbled by with her husband.

    --

Once again, a laugh escaped from Orion as he shook his head at Helena. Offering her a small smile in return for her words. "Alright, alright. Fair enough I guess." He said and chuckled once more as he shook his head in amusement, standing up from the bed. Then, he quickly turned around and ruffled Helena's hair playfully before he stood up straight once more. "Alright, there are guards at the door. Just tell them if you need anything and they'll get a maid for you, alright?" He waited for a moment before nodding his head.

"Alright, I'll see you tomorrow. Sleep well, Princess." Orion winked at Helena as he turned and headed for the door. Grinning to himself as he knew that the young girl didn't really like to be addressed as a Princess as she didn't believe she was one.

Theodore smiled, thanking the vendor before turning back to Aelia with a little shrug. "It's not a problem, Princess." He reassured her, nodding as he took the necklace from her, carefully placing it around her neck and hooking the clasp, making sure it was secure before he stepped back a bit to look.

"There, all set." He smiled, although he blushed when he heard the elderly woman's comment, but didn't correct her, figuring it better for the old woman to believe what she wanted than to correct her and cause a fuss. He offered Aelia his arm once again, turning to look at her. "Shall we continue through the market? Or would you like to head back to the horse and continue to explore the town?"
Helena smiled as she watched him stand, giggling and swatting at his hands as he ruffled her hair, shaking her head a little. She nodded as he told her to ask the guards for help if she needed it, scrunching up her nose in a little pout as he called her Princess, although a blush crept its way up her cheeks at his wink, watching him leave. She was glad that they were back to joking around and being friends, but she was also scared of the way her heart raced when he looked at her, worried that she'd let her feelings get in the way of things.

"Goodnight, Orion. Sleep well." She called after him, standing and reaching behind her back to work on undoing the ties that held her dress closed, struggling to reach the ties for a while before she finally managed to untie them and step out of her dress, pulling on a nightgown that had been left for her and quickly brushing her hair before she climbed back into bed, falling asleep almost immediately after such a long and stressful day.

A small blush appeared on Aelia's cheeks at what the couple said, her gaze refusing to look at them or Theo once Theo was done putting on her necklace for her. "Thank you." She said quietly as she linked her arm with his and looked around to see if there was anything she really wanted to look at. Not seeing anything, Lia slowly shook her head no. "We can go back to the horse." She said, giving the Prince a small glance before urging him to head back.

"I picked the flea market, so I think you should pick a place to look at next," Aelia said as she glanced at Theo, this time stopping to actually look at him once more.

    --

The night was like a blur. One moment, Orion was walking down the hall to his room and the next he was passed out on his bed. His blankets wrapped around him like a cacoon and a loud snore escaping from his slightly parted lips.
Once morning came, a small groan escaped from Orion as he remembered he needed to train a little bit before he took Helena on a picnic in the woods. So, the young Prince hopped out of bed and quickly went to wash his face before he changed into some clean clothes.

Then, he headed out to the back of the castle where they usually trained. It was still quite early, just before the crack of dawn and Orion was going to make use of the time he had before Helena woke up to make sure that his body was still in top shape. As the last thing he needed right now as for someone to try and attack and he'd be too weak to fight.

Theodore nodded, leading her back to where he had left their horse, helping her up onto the animal before climbing up as well, taking the reigns and steering the horse back into the street to continue their exploring. He hummed a little in thought before he decided where to bring her, urging the horse to go a little faster to get where they needed to be.

After about 10 minutes they arrived at a beautiful building, the Prince hopping off the horse and smiling up at Aelia as he helped her down. "This is the city's library. It's actually the oldest building in the city, even older than the castle." He explained, tying the horse to a post before offering her his arm to head inside.
Helena slept rather soundly, curled up under all the blankets, only waking once in the middle or the night to go to the bathroom and drink some water, but she was soon asleep again. She finally woke for good a few hours after dawn, stretching lazily and smiling as a maid brought her a tray of breakfast, thanking her before asking where Orion was, and asked her to let the guards know to just let him in whenever he arrived, surprised that he hadn't woken her up at the crack of dawn as a joke.

She gladly ate her breakfast while she waited for him, seated at the little table by the window, the wool blanket that had been given to her yesterday wrapped around her shoulders like a shawl. She hummed a little in satisfaction at the delicious food, glad that she wasn't going to be living off soup while she was here.

For some reason, Aelia got the sneaking suspicion that Theo was up to something when he didn't outright say where he wanted to take her. So, she just settled with giving him a curious look and following like a little puppy dog instead.
She once again thanked him for helping her onto the horse, her eyes focusing on the things around them as she relaxed against Theo's chest. Feeling quite safe being so close to him. Then, as the building came into view, Aelia sat up straight and stared in awe. "Wow..." She breathed out as she took in the building.
Her bright blue eyes stayed focused on the building as Theo helped her off. "How?" She asked as she finally tore her eyes away from the building and took Theo's arm. "Aren't castles suppose to be the first things in place to claim land?"

    --

After practicing for at least two hours, Orion told everyone it was enough for the day. The men usually practiced and exercised every other day, allowing for some time for the body to repair. Although, in the winter, it's moved to every day as the cold will help strengthen the men. OR so the doctor and generals believed.
Orion rushed to his bedroom after practice and showered. Not wanting to smell like he had just run around the castle a million times. That would surely not impress the girl he promised to take on a picnic. She'd probably laugh at him and make him take a shower. Followed by telling him that he smelled like a pig or something.
So, once he was thoroughly clean. Orion headed towards Helena's room. Arching an eyebrow and finding it amusing that as soon as the guard saw him, he opened the floor. It was like he was being expected. "Princess." Orion greeted and playfully bowed to the young girl once he was in the room.

Theodore grinned a little at her reaction, linking their arms as he slowly led her to the entrance, giving her time to take the building in. "The first settlers of Vidour were scholars, and they came to the forest to hide from those who wanted to destroy the books that they didn't agree with. So, they brought the books here, and built the library to house them, and the city grew around the library." He explained, greeting the man stationed by the door as he led Aelia inside. "Is there anything in particular you would like to read? It's the largest collection on the continent. Some people even say that some of the books contain old secrets that have been forgotten, but I dont buy it."
Helena was still seated by the window finishing her breakfast, taking a sip of tea as he came in. She looked at him over the rim of the cup and smiled, setting the cup down before waving her hand dismissively at his actions. "You're a tease." She smiled, gesturing for him to sit down with her.

"Do you want anything? I'm not going to eat the sausage, so you're welcome to it." She offered, tugging the blanket around her shoulders tighter, expecting him to say something about not being dressed yet. "And before you poke fun, I didn't know what we were going to do today so I didn't get dressed, and when I asked one of the maids for some pants she just laughed and then left.." she blushed a little, knowing he must think it silly for her to want to wear pants.

Aelia held onto every word that left Theo's lips. She didn't know if that was true or not, but it sounded so cool. "Wow." She breathed out, still in awe as she walked into the library with him. Her eyes looking around in even more awe as she saw the beautiful interior of the building. "This place is beautiful." She muttered as she looked around and took everything in.

Then, Lia froze and thought for a moment as she thought about what Theo asked her. "Can we look for books on the... ancient... princesses?" She asked, not really sure if she was allowed to ask about that kind of books. It was the Kingdoms history, but was it public knowledge? Or were the Royals the only one who was allowed to know what happened?

    --

As he stood up, Orion gladly took the seat that was offered to him. A small smile appearing on his lips amused that she didn't snap at him. Maybe he had gotten through to her last night? The idea caused Orion to smirk a little, but he quickly pushed it away. "Thanks." He murmured, accepting the little bit of food she offered. He wasn't really hungry, but the Prince was never one to dismiss food.

"Well, that is a pretty odd question to be asking here." Orion pointed out after he swallowed a bite of the sausage. "Most women won't even dream of wearing pants." He sat up and cleared his through. "I was thinking I'd take you on a picnic, there's a pretty cool old mining site on the outskirts that are pretty cool to walk around." He informed her. "I also asked my maids about those clothes you mentioned, and they said they gave my old clothes away. So, I just had them get you an outfit. Although it'd for Youngmen."

Theodore smiled as she admired the building, nodding. "I always liked coming here as a child with my grandfather.. He used to let me read all the old myths and legends to him when his eyesight began to get bad." He explained, leading them over to a staircase.

"Yes, we can go look at the books on the ancient princesses. After all, you are one of them, and who am I to keep you from learning about yourself." He smiled, leading her up the beautiful staircase to a smaller reading room, asking one of the attendants to fetch the books for them while they waited.
Helena nodded, smiling a little as he ate the sausage, watching him over the rim of her cup as she drank more of her tea. Her eyes lit up when he talked about what he had planned for them that day, unable to help but blush faintly as the thought of it being a date entered her mind, although she quickly dismissed it, clearing her throat as she set her cup down. "That sounds like fun. Getting lost in some mining tunnels." She teased slightly, although it was obvious she was genuinely excited.

Her eyes widened when he mentioned that he had gotten her an outfit, frowning a bit. "I didn't want you to have to buy anything special.. Now I feel bad because I dont have any way to pay you back." She frowned, looking at him as she finished her last piece of toast.

"So, does that mean you like mythology then?" Aelia asked as she followed him up to the reading room that was in the library. Her voice, quiet as she felt odd talking at a higher level in the library.
"What if I'm not this ancient Princess?" Aelia asked quietly. "I don't remember being born into any kind of royal family. So, it's kinda odd to me to be referred to as a Princess." Aelia explained, a small frown appearing on her lips.

    --

"Actually, it is really fun," Orion said as he looked towards Helena and grinned a little once he swallowed the food. "There are some crystals inside, and if you're lucky you can pick one out to take." He explained, grinning a little.

Then, Orion shook his head at her worries. "It's alright. You can pay me back by just being nicer to me." He teased, winking as he stood up. "I'll go tell a maid to grab the clothes for you," Orion said as he headed to the door.

Theodore nodded, taking a seat at the study table as the attendants came in with the books they had requested, setting them down at the table before shutting the door to give the Prince and Princess some privacy. He shrugged a little when she asked about not being the Princess, looking up at him. "I'm not sure what the Goddess intends for you.. But you're here now, and on all accounts, you are the ancient Princess. It's not my place to go against the Goddess." He explained.
Helena's eyes widened a little bit when he said that they could find crystals, grinning excitedly as she also stood with him. She laughed a bit as he said that she could pay him back, nudging him a little. "Funny. But I'll try. Thank you for helping me, Orion." She said, standing on her toes to press a small, brief kiss to his cheek before she ushered him out of the door so that she could change.

About 20 minutes later she walked into the hall, dressed in the outfit Orion had gotten her and her hair braided so it wouldn't get too messy on their little adventure.

Slowly, Aelia's smile slips to a small frown. She wasn't really sure how to accept the answer she got. Not that she really expected anything more anyways. "Okay," Lia replied meekly as she walked to the table and sat down next to Theo.
She made sure to thank the attendants for the books before she grabbed one and opened the first page. "Oh..." Was the only thing that came out of her mouth as what caught her attention was a picture, and it looked exactly like her. "But... how?"

    --

Orion stood outside of the door a little flabbergasted. Not really sure how to react to having been kissed on the cheek by Helena. Usually, he would have pulled the woman back and kissed her on the lips, but, she was a Princess and therefore needed more respect than a brothel worker. So, instead, he cleared his throat and tried to think straight as he waited for Helena.

By the time that Helena was done, Orion managed to calm himself down a little. He managed to offer her a small smile as she appeared. "Nice." He commented, looking her over for a moment. "Ready?" He asked, ready to lead her out to the horses.

Theodore watched her as she sat, knowing she wasn't overly thrilled with his answer, but that was the best answer he could give. He sat up when she began to look through the books, nodding a little as she pointed out the portrait of her in the book.

"Yes, that's you.." He stated. "That portrait's famous, as well as the portrait of the Princess from Vidour."
Helena smiled as she came out of the room, giving a little spin in order to show him the outfit. "Must be weird, seeing a woman wearing pants." She teased, smiling up at him as they began walking down the hall.

"I wonder what other people would think.. I bet they'd laugh." She shrugged a little, linking her arm though his as they walked.

Aelia couldn't help but stare at the picture. It blew her mind that she looked exactly like the Princess in this book. "How is this possible?" Aelia murmured quietly, then glanced up towards Theo. Her eyes showed her confusion as she tilted her head to the side in confusion. "It's famous?" She asked, glancing back down at the picture.
"What makes it so famous?" Aelia asked as she examined the Picture for a moment more. It really caught the girls beauty. "Is her picture in this book as well?" Aelia asked as she glanced towards Theo then went to try and find the picture in the book.

    --

"It's really odd," Orion admitted as he walked with Helena, casting glanced her way every now and again as he tried to get a hold of the idea of her wearing pants. "Are you comfortable in them?" He asked, truly curious as to rather or not a woman would be comfortable in something that was so constricting on the body.

His spare hand came up unconsciously and patted Helena's hand lightly for a moment before relaxing at his side again. His dark eyes focused ahead as they walked. "They'll probably have a mixture of responses." He said as they got outside. Orion led them towards the horses, glancing to Helena to see if she recognized the horse he brought out just for her, Lucy.

Theodore nodded a little. "Yes, it's quite famous. The entire story is. I'm pretty sure everyone is familiar with the portrait." He explained, pointing to the portrait before thinking for a moment, trying to remember if the portrait of the Vidourian Princess was in there.

"Yes, I believe it is." He explained, flipping through the book before finding the page with Princess Helena on it, pointing to it. "There. That's her. Supposedly my Great Great Great Great Aunt."
She smiled up at him, nodding. "Yes, they are quiet comfortable. Much more comfortable than that dress from yesterday, although there's nothing better than taking off your pants at the end of the day and just relaxing. I'm sure you know that feeling." She grinned up at him.

Helena blushed faintly when he pat her hand, giving his arm a little squeeze in return, although when she spotted Lucy she gasped happily, smiling as she released his arm to walk over to the horse, patting her neck as she pressed a gentle kiss to her head. "Hello, Miss Lucy, did you miss me?" She said endearingly to the horse.

Lia's head nodded as she listened to Theo, then watched as he flipped through the old book for her. Her breath catching in her lungs as she looked at the picture in the book. She knew her, it was strange but Aelia was pretty sure she knew her, or at least. Has seen her before, but she wasn't quite sure where.

"Weird." Aelia murmured as she slowly reached out to gently touch the picture. "Hey, do you think the reincarnation of her could be here as well?" Aelia asked, looking to Theo. An uneasy feeling filled Aelia's stomach at the idea.

    --

If Orion had been drinking anything when he heard Helena speak, he was pretty sure his brink would be sprayed all over the place. "Yup. yup, I completely agree!!" He said an outright threw his head back as he let out a loud laugh. Shaking his head in amusement once he was done laughing at her words.

Then, he cleared his throat as Helena let his arms go. Watching as she walked over to the older horse. A small smile appearing on Orion's lips. "I was just informed that she's with foal, so we'll have to be slow for her," Orion told Helena as he walked towards his horse, a dark brown mare named Ginger.

Theodore frowned as she looked at the portrait, surprised when she said that she knew the woman. "I.. I'm not sure. I suppose it's possible, but there's no way of knowing until we hear back from Crearia, which could take a long time considering the snow in the mountain passes into Crearia may not have fully melted yet." He explained, resting a hand on her shoulder reassuringly. "We'll figure it out, Aelia. I promise."
Helena happily laughed with him, smiling up at him as he laughed, glad to see him laughing and joking around. She looked back at him when he mentioned that Lucy was pregnant, smiling excitedly as she looked back at her.

"A baby? Lucy's going to have a little baby foal? I bet it'll be so cute." She mused, smiling over at him as he approached his horse. "Your horse is very pretty too, Orion, but what about Clyde?"

A tired sigh escaped from Aelia as she crossed her arms on the table and rested her head on top of them. Her eyes closing as she listened to Theo. Lia hated waiting, especially when it came to things she didn't know or understand. It was just hard, really hard. "When can we expect news then?" Lia asked, looking sideways towards Theo.

Lia closed her eyes and let everything run through her mind for a while more before she just sighed and sat up straight. "Let's just...read a little more. I want to know about the Princesses."

    --

Orion glanced towards Helena as she mentioned his favorite horse. A small shrug was the only thing he really gave her before speaking. "He's more of a runner, not a slow pace kinda guy," Orion explained. If he would have ridden Clyde, the horse would have been bored out of his mind. Running and racing were in his blood, that's why he chose Ginger because she didn't care as long as she got attention.

"Come on Helena. let's head out." Orin said as he got onto his horse. Then, he glanced down and watched as one of the servants finished tieing a blanket to the back of the horse with the picnic basket with it.

Theodore shrugged a little, leaning back in his chair as he thought, trying to figure out when they could expect an answer. "Hm.. I'm not sure, but at least not for a few weeks. But there is the big diplomatic meeting coming up, and your appearance, as well as the appearance of any other person, will definitely be discussed there."

He frowned a bit as she said she wanted to keep reading, unsure if it was a good idea or not, but he decided to allow it, pushing the book closer to give her the chance to read at her own pace.
Helena nodded before got up onto her horse, smiling over at him as she guided her over to Orion. "Alright, Orion. Lead the way." She hummed, blushing faintly at the sight of the picnic blanket and basket, having thought that he had been joking about having a picnic.

After a few minutes of silence she spoke again, glancing over at him before focusing her attention back to steering Lucy, making sure she was following Orion. "Can you teach me how to fight? I've always wanted to be a knight.. When I was little, I'd always be the knight instead of the princess during playtime. I had a foam sword and shield and everything." She smiled a little at the memory, it one of the few good ones from her childhood.

"Will this diplomatic meeting be in a few weeks as well?" Aelia asked as she glanced towards Theo after turning a page in the book she was reading. Her head was starting to hurt a little bit as she took in all of this new information about the Princesses life before she died.

"If everyone from both Kingdoms agrees that I'm this.. reincarnated Princess, how likely do you think it'd be if I was to die before I get married? Like the original Princess." Right as those words left Lia's mouth, she instantly regretted them. "Oh god, I'm going to die." She murmured quietly, sitting back in her chair.

    --

With a nod of his head, Orion had Ginger start walking at a slow pace. It'll be a good two hours or so to get to the mines, so he wasn't really rushing anything. It was turning into a beautiful day. So, they might as well take in the nice weather.

Hearing Helena's voice, Orion glanced at her through the corner of his eye. Arching an eyebrow at her. "That's not something for me to decide. Honestly." He told her, looking forward to a moment before looking at her as he spoke. "Fighting and being a knight are two different things." He told her, looking forward and correcting Ginger a little as she started to move a little too far from Helena. "I may be Prince, but even I can't teach someone to fight. You'd have to ask one of our Generals."

"Yes, it will. Before you arrived, everyone was assuming this meeting would determine whether of not we would go to war, but now.. Everyone is a little more hopeful that we'll be able to avoid that." Theodore explained, frowning deeply when she started to worry about dying herself. "No, Aelia. You're not going to die. It's not like you were reborn and are living out your life again, but instead you have been resurrected to for some purpose only the Goddess knows." He explained, reaching over to take her hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
Helena frowned a little as she listened to him, sighing as she looked ahead on the path they were following.
