    Standing there on the edge
    Ain't scared of what's ahead
    Walking up like revenge

Ally folded her arms across her chest in annoyance as she looked at the clock once more. She knew that Michael never took this long in the studio - it was routine for them both by now, he was always home by eight. But for the past few weeks, with tonight being no exception, Michael had gotten home towards eleven, even midnight in a rare case. It wouldn't usually bother her - but it was so out of character for him. Frowning with the thought, Ally looked up as she heard the lock to the front door click, and she stood to her feet. "Nice of you to join me." She frowned, although it deepened once she saw the state of him. "Michael, what happened to your clothes?" She frowned.

Luke knew he was in trouble. He knew as soon as he stepped through that front door, he was in trouble. But Luke just... didn't know how to explain himself, or his situation, to Velia. How the hell was he meant to explain to the woman he loved so damn much that he was some sort of low profile Batman? Frowning with the thought, Luke shut the gate after him and looked down at his appearance as he approached the front door. Dammit, how was he going to explain this one? Fishing his house key from his jacket pocket, Luke unlocked the door and pushed it open quietly, hoping that Velia had gone to bed. As the door opened and Petunia barked, Luke cringed. "Piggy, shh." He whispered, not wanting to get caught out, despite the fact that he wasn't guilty for anything bad. Luke just sucked at keeping secrets, especially when it came to Velia.

Cat had only done this once before, but instead of feeling anxiety flow through her, she felt the adrenaline, the pure excitement of the situation. She and Anelie had snuck past every guard, every alarm, having already cut off the security camera stream. "Alright," she looked to Anelie, keeping her voice quiet. "We just need to get to the main vault and we'll be golden," She murmured, hesitating as she saw a flashlight and a group of talking guards, and she knew they'd been suspected, but if they stayed quiet, it shouldn't of been too much of a problem.

Ashton walked down the street with Calum, satisfied with a job well done today - both in the studio, and in other adventures the boys chose to follow. Grinning with the thought, Ashton looked over his shoulder. Being in the line of fighting crime always had him a little on guard, always on look out for anything that could be considered strange. Still, seeing a police car - lights flashing, no sirens, lead to the bank, he tugged Calum back by the sleeve. "Look."

Michael hated keeping secrets from Ally, he really did, but he wasn’t sure how to explain the situation he’d gotten himself into. He and the others were keeping it between themselves, too, and he didn’t want to be the one to break the pact they’d all made to keep their vigilante alter egos a secret. Things weren’t even supposed to be like this, but, when people were getting in more and more trouble, neither he nor his friends could just stand back and do nothing. But, above all of that, he wasn’t even sure how to tell the woman who meant everything to him that he was moonlighting as a vigilante in the first place. He trusted her, of course he did, but he worried that the knowledge would just bring trouble to her, put her in danger, and that was the last thing he wanted to do. When he stepped into the house, he ran a hand through his hair, though he paused when he heard Ally and he looked over, surprised that she was still awake, but he also felt a surge of guilt with her words. “Sorry, things, uh… Got busy at the studio,” he told her carefully before he made a face, looking down at his clothes for a moment. “There was… A, um… There was a fire.” It wasn’t a lie. “At the studio, I mean.” That was the lie.

Velia hadn’t been able to sleep without Luke home; it wasn’t anything new or surprising, she rarely slept well when Luke wasn’t home. What was new, though, was the fact that Luke was coming home so late recently, and it wasn’t normal. In the past, he’d always warned her that recording was running late, but he usually came home earlier than he had been recently either way. She’d been waiting downstairs, lost in her computer, searching through any technology she could in hopes of distracting herself, but she blinked herself out of the digital world when she heard Petunia bark. Closing her laptop quickly, she shifted to flick the light on in the living room, where she’d been curled up on the sofa with a blanket, pillow, and her laptop, before she headed to the entrance, frowning at the sight of Luke. “You’re home late. Again,” she said carefully, worried, but she blinked at the state he was in, her brows furrowing at his slightly burnt clothes. “What happened to you?”

Anelie breathed out quietly, nodding to Cat’s words as they walked, careful to keep her face hidden with the silly Halloween masks they’d brought with them. “Right,” she murmured quietly, “I’ll freeze the security circuits, then you should be able to open the vault with that cool little mind trick you do. It’ll be smooth sailing from there.” She grinned teasingly as they drew closer to the vault, peering over her shoulder, though she fell silent with seeing the flashlights and she stuck close to Cat. When the flashlights didn’t come any closer, though, she proceeded to walk until reaching the vault and, to be safe, she used her powers to make walls of ice on either side of them to protect them from the guards who’d surely noticed their presence by now. “Alright, I think we have about two minutes to get this done.” Moving to the keypad and fingerprint scanner of the vault, she ripped the top off before using her powers to freeze the circuits quickly, soon looking back to Cat. “We’re good to go.”

Calum had been eager to get home to relax after everything they’d done that day, having fought crime and gotten a few songs written, a demo for one having been prepared. Stretching his arms out above him, he sighed out in content. “This is the life, man,” he mentioned, though he blinked when he heard his friend’s words and, peering over, he looked to the police cars before closing his eyes to focus on what he could of the conversations inside the cars, hearing somebody mention the code for a robbery. “There’s a robbery in progress, at the Commonwealth Bank.” He looked to Ashton, blinking several times. “We should head there now, but should we tell Mikey and Luke about it?” Turning, he began the walk quickly to the bank, not wanting to attract attention to them, but also not wanting to really waste any time. The sooner they got there, the sooner they could deal with whatever was going on at the bank. And, really, he was surprised that somebody was robbing a bank so late, anyways - most people would do so during the day, for the advantage of hostages.

Ally rolled her eyes at Michael's excuse, shaking her head slightly as she sighed out quietly. "Of course they did." She murmured, watching him study his clothes with a look of dismay, and Ally heard his words and her eyebrows furrowed, ever so slightly, with worry. "Really?" She asked, just knowing instinctively that Michael was lying, he had a tendency to stammer slightly. "Oh?" She prompted. "There was nothing on the news." She studied him for a long moment, but ran a hand through her hair. "As long as you guys are safe." She shrugged her shoulders lightly, not bothering to question him any further, because there was no point.

Luke looked up at he heard Velia's voice, and just hearing her brought him so much comfort, it sometimes overwhelmed him. "I know, baby." He spoke quietly, stroking Petunia before making his way over to Velia - he'd hurt his arm slightly, but he was sure it would be fine in the morning. "Long day in the studio," he explained, chewing on his lip and hoping she'd buy his bogus story. "Uh, there was a fire too." He explained, happy to offer her some truth. "In the studio," He almost cringed at his meek voice, but continued on. "It was small, contained pretty easily." He offered a smile to Velia, looking down at his own clothes with a frown. "I should change, huh?" He offered her a weak smile. He hated lying to Velia - dammit, one day he planned to put a ring on this woman's finger, but he just couldn't put her in the danger he so often faced. "I'm sorry, babe." But feeling his phone vibrate, seeing a text from Ashton, Luke sighed. "Babe, I - I gotta head out."

"Cool little mind trick," Cat snorted with laughter, keeping her face hidden as she moved closer to the vaults. There was no way they hadn't been noticed by now, they were still new to this whole comic book villain thing, and Cat loved it, but it would be a long time before they were experts. "I hear you." She confirmed to Anelie when Anelie confirmed the circuits had been freezed, and concentrating on the door, she used her own mind to unlock the vault and push it open, holding her breath in case it made a large sound and drew attention to them in anyway. "Okay, good to go." She murmured to Anelie. "Just under two minutes, if we pull this off, we're amazing." She winked.

Ashton watched Calum as he used his power. "A robbery?" He frowned, but he nodded to Calum's question. "We've never split before," he reminded Calum with a grin, fishing his phone out of his pocket, walking in a quick stride with Calum as he dropped a text to Luke and Michael, explaining the situation and sending them their location. "Why choose now to rob a bank?" He murmured to Calum with an almost curious tone, watching as police officers exited their vehicles. "Doesn't make much sense."

Michael chewed on his lip because, just looking at Ally, he knew that she didn't believe him. The thought of lying to her hurt him, because he hated keeping secrets from her, but there wasn't really anything he could do to fix it. “Yeah, uh, it was a small fire, just in the bin,” he told her, offering a weak smile, trying not to show how upset he was with having to lie to her at all, ever. “We're all okay, no worries.” Moving over to her, he offered a smile, more genuine, more honest, and moved to kiss her forehead. “I missed you, babe.” But, as soon as he spoke the words, he felt his phone go off with a notification. Pulling his phone out of his pocket, he really over the text with a small frown. “Oh… Shit, I'm sorry, babe, something came up with the guys, I have to go.” Looking back to Ally, his smile weakened. “I'll be back soon, don't wait up, okay?” Shifting, he put his phone away before he cupped her face gently. “I love you.” He kissed her for a moment, just wanting her to know that that much was true. Kissing her once more, he turned to head to the door.

Velia watched him for a few moments, listening quietly to his explanation, though she tried to ignore the way her heart ached with Luke lying. Of course, she knew she wasn't really one to complain; she was keeping secrets herself. “A small fire that was contained?” she asked carefully, “But… You still got your clothes burnt?” She arched a brow, trying not to sound too suspicious. Watching him for a moment, she offered a small nod. “Yeah, you should probably change.” Shifting a bit, she cleared her throat but listened when he said he had to go. “Right, of course. I'll just… be here, I guess.” She watched him for a moment, unsure. “Just, wherever you're going, whatever you're going to do, be careful.”

Anelie grinned once Cat had managed to get the door open. “Perfect, always so great with your work,” she chimed quietly, happily, and she adjusted the bag she'd brought, aware Cat had one of her own, and she headed into the vault quietly once it was open. Quickly, she moved to start getting the money they could see packed up. “We'll be out of here before you know it.” With a broad grin, she focused, not wanting to waste too much time.

Calum nodded slightly to Ashton's words, aware he had a point. Who knew what could go wrong if they didn't have their whole little team there to work with? They all relied on each other and they trusted each other, it was safer when they all worked together. “I don't know, it doesn't make any real sense to me, either,” he admitted as they walked, focusing on the path to the bank with a frown. “Most robbers would want the advantage of hostages, right? But maybe these people are trying to limit casualties or something?” He shrugged, figuring that would make sense, but it was still a crime either way, and who knew what they were really up against?

When Michael moved closer to her, Ally smiled weakly, sighing as he kissed her forehead. "I missed you too." She told him, but seeing him study his phone, Ally tried to hide the hurt that seemed to stab her in the chest. Studying him carefully, Ally nodded. "Whatever you're doing Michael, just... be safe, okay?" She offered him a weak smile, always wanting to support Michael in any endeavour he chose to chase, even when she missed him so much. When he kissed her though, Ally returned the kiss briefly, before pulling away. "I love you too, babe." She promised, staring at the back of him, biting her lip as she went back to the sofa, grabbing her blanket - their shared bed feeling too lonely, too cold without Michael there to hold her.

"Yeah, uh," Luke cleared his throat, studying Velia for a long moment, knowing damn well she didn't believe him. Approaching Velia has he read Ashton's text, Luke slipped his phone back into the pocket of his jeans, making sure he'd locked it. "Hey," he told her gently, wrapping his arms around Velia's waist as he pressed a kiss to her lips, lingering for a long moment. "I love you. So much." He promised, his eyes meeting hers. "I miss you so much when I'm not here." He told her, chewing on his lower lip. "Don't wait up though, okay?" He shifted, moving his hands to run his fingers through her hair. "Get some rest. You have my full permission to let Petunia sleep on the bed." He winked. Hearing Velia's words though, Luke nodded. "We're always careful, babe. Ashton just needs help moving some stuff in his apartment." He explained with a smile, kissing her forehead once more before turning away from her, although it broke his heart to do so.

Cat grinned at Anelie with her words. "Hey, you were the brains behind the security." She pointed out, adjusting her own bag as she headed into the vault. "Alright, c'mon." She murmured, starting to pack the money into the bag she brought, grabbing as much as she could. When her bag was full, Cat toyed with her lip. "I easily grabbed a couple of grand." She explained quietly, standing to her feet.

Ashton tugged Calum up the side alley of the bank, knowing there was a back entrance there. "Maybe they're considerate." Ashton laughed with the thought, shaking his head with amusement. "Alright, we gotta wait for Mikey and Luke, but they both know that we're here. Maybe you and I head in first, talk to the guards, get to the vault before they can escape?" Ashton offered.

Michael watched Ally with concern, having noticed the pain in her expression, but he wasn’t sure how to fix it. Instead, he smiled slightly and nodded. “I’m always careful, babe. The guys just need help with something, nothing dangerous,” he told her, hating lying to her even more than usual when he could see how much his lies were hurting her. Still, he nodded slowly and breathed out as he turned to leave, running his hand through his hair, his heart breaking with having to leave her like this. But, he needed to be able to help the others, he needed to get there and make sure they didn’t get themselves killed - they’d all been working together so well, he wasn’t sure any of them could work without the others there. With the thought, he chewed on his lip anxiously before he quickly headed in the direction of the bank Ashton told him to go to, hopeful that they could end this robbery quickly and without consequences or injuries so that he could return back to Ally and hold her through the rest of the night.

Velia watched Luke as he moved closer to her and, for the moment he kissed her, she allowed herself to return the kiss, at least comforted with his arms around her, him being close, being able to take in his scent and listen to his voice. “I love you, too,” she whispered quietly, offering a weak smile as she watched him, though she nodded slightly, leaning into his touch. “Petunia’s stealing your side of the bed.” And, while her tone was joking, a part of her figured there was no harm in it, because she wasn’t sure how long Luke would be gone, anyways. Watching him walk away, she sighed quietly before she moved to gather her things from the sofa. “Alright, Petunia, c’mon, daddy’s gone, it’s just us girls now.” Seeing Petunia following her, she smiled slightly and headed upstairs first, waiting for Petunia to follow. Once they were both on the bed, Velia set her laptop aside before pulling the blanket over herself and Petunia to cuddle with the dog.

Anelie grinned slightly with the mention of it. “I wouldn’t quite call it brains,” she said, “It was just a little thought. I wasn’t sure it would work.” Shrugging, she shouldered her own bag as she stood up to join at her friend’s side. “I did, too. Do you think it will be enough this time?” She frowned slightly with her own reminder of why they were doing this at all in the first place. Shaking her head to rid herself of the thoughts, she motioned. “Come on, let’s get going while we still can.”

Calum nodded with the suggestion, figuring it sounded like their best opportunity at the moment. “Might be best,” he admitted, offering his friend a look, “We can’t really waste any time, in that case.” As much as he knew they needed their friends, he didn’t want to risk the robbers getting away. “Alright, you ready for this?” He arched a brow but he didn’t wait for Ashton to respond, quickly heading inside first, wanting to make sure things were okay, wanting to stop this before things got bad.

"But it did," Cat grinned, throwing Anelie a wink. Hitching her heavy bag further up her own shoulder, Cat sighed with Anelie's question. "I don't know." She murmured. "The most it can buy is surgery to locate the tumour and try to remove it, along with a couple of rounds of chemo." She explained, looking to Anelie, worried about her good friend, knowing her father was sick. That was the whole point of the robbery, the family couldn't afford the medical bills, and Cat had tried to contribute as much as she could by supporting her best friend. "C'mon, let's go." She placed a gentle hand on Anelie's shoulder, squeezing gently as she led the way out of the vault.

Ashton followed Calum quickly, hiding behind a corner that led to the main vault. Peeking around to assess the situation, he frowned. "Can you hear anything?" He asked to Calum, hoping Calum could use his powers to try to eavesdrop into whatever was going on inside - he knew they were still there because he could see their shadows reflect against the wall. However, when they stepped out of the vault, Ashton stepped out. "Stop right there," he warned, but frowned deeply when he saw that they weren't armed. That was strange, whenever they dealt with robberies, there was usually some sort of weapon involved.

As soon as Luke was out of the front door, Luke quickly made his way to the bank, seeing the police officers and patrol cars. Still in civilian clothes, Luke ducked down an alleyway, quickly unbuttoning his shirt, using his powers to his advantage as he quickly made his way upto the back entrance of the building, noticing the open door. Frowning, Luke assumed that it was Calum and Ashton that had gone in first and left the door open as an indication that they were there. Stepping insde, Luke treaded through the building carefully, hearing Ashton's voice. "Hey," he whispered to Calum as he caught up. "What's going on?"

Calum looked over to Ashton after hearing his question and he listened quietly to what he could, his brows furrowing slightly with the bits of conversation he had picked up on. “They’re talking about surgery for a tumor and chemo,” he mentioned quietly, looking to Ashton with discomfort. The voice that had explained the situation sounded compassionate - nothing like what he expected a burglar to sound like. And, if the circumstances were really as serious as it seemed, a part of him could understand why somebody would do something like this - but it was still against the law, so it left him feeling conflicted. “Ash - shit, don’t step out alone,” he called out quickly, but his attention was caught by Luke when he joined them. “Robbery. Those two girls just came out of the vault, no weapons.” And, then, he moved to join Ash, looking to the women for a moment. “Look, whatever’s going on, you don’t have to do this.”

Anelie offered a weak smile with the mention of it. “I guess we'll have to keep this up for a while,” she mentioned quietly, though she hated that her friend had gotten dragged into her problems. In truth, though, Anelie didn't think she would have been able to pull any of this off on her own, and she wasn't ready to lose her father. Nodding, she moved to follow after Cat, though she paused when she heard an unfamiliar voice and she looked towards the speaker, arching a brow. “Well, you’re definitely not a security guard,” she mentioned, “Sorry, buddy, but that’s not gonna work.” Crouching down, she placed her hand on the floor, freezing over the floor between them, though she made sure the ice wrapped around the guy’s feet. “Let’s get out of here, Cat.” She stayed calm, trying to stay focused, because they couldn’t afford to lose this money, her father needed it.

Michael had gotten to the bank as quickly as he could, pausing when he saw the door open. Making sure that he didn’t look too obvious, that he wasn’t too easy to recognize - the last thing they needed was for villains of any sort to recognize them or find out who they were, with the possibility of it bringing danger to those they cared about and themselves; and he never wanted to put Ally in danger. Making his way inside quickly, he followed the hallways, searching for the problem and his friends, until he found them and he blinked, heading over quickly. “Hey,” he murmured to Luke before blinking as he saw Ashton and Calum facing two women. “What’d I miss? Are we just gonna be back up, maybe find a way to block their path or cut them off?”

Ashton gasped with Anelie's power, not even seemingly bothered that he was stuck in place by ice, but he smirked, willing for the ice to melt away. "Nice try, sugar. So, if I were you, I'd stop. Whatever you're doing this for, if you co-operate, we can talk about it." He reassured, nodding along with Calum's words, remembering that Calum had eavesdropped on the girls. "You won't even be in trouble if you just stop." Ashton bargained, the ice turning to water around him. "We won't even hand you in." He promised. "You have my word."

Cat listened to Ashton's pleading, frowning at how his words seemed to be so genuine. Remembering how the security systems were all down, Cat took off her mask, looking to the men. "And what are you two meant to be, some type of vigilantes?" She asked, hitching the bag further up her shoulder. "Please, just go away." She frowned, trying to find something she could move between themselves and the superhero wannabes. Seeing a bunch of security desks, Cat focused on them, moving them effortlessly with one quick thought, blocking the path completely. "Come on."

Luke quickly got to work, moving the tables in a record time, even for himself. "Ash, Cal, go after them." He instructed. "Michael and I will block off the exit outside." And with that, he quickly grabbed Michael, leading him down the path from which they just came, going towards the back of the building.

Anelie watched for a moment, frowning with the fact that her ice didn’t seem to bother the man at all. That shouldn’t have been possible, and she could feel her jaw clench. “Well, sugar, you’re not me, and I’m not interested in talking,” she said firmly, not wanting to waste any more time. Frowning, she tugged off her own mask, annoyed with the fabric getting in her way. “Stay out of our way.” And, turning, she quickly followed after Cat, wanting to get away from them, wanting to get out of there and to the hospital.

Calum chewed on his lip when he heard Cat speak and he watched her for a moment. “We can’t do that,” he told her, “What you’re doing - regardless of why you’re doing it, - it’s not right. We can help if you just let us, but this isn’t the way to get what you need done!” But, he paused in shock when she took off her mask, watching her, because how could somebody so gorgeous be doing something like this? Not that there weren’t plenty of criminals who were probably attractive, but there was just… Something about this girl. And, when she used her powers, he was even more shocked. “Fuck, come on, Ash,” he told his friend after Luke moved the tables and he quickly followed after the girls.

Michael blinked with surprise as he watched everything, but he gave a noise when Luke grabbed him and led him away. “Oh, man, I was hoping this would end faster than it is,” he complained, frowning with concern, because he wanted to get home to Ally but, once they were at the back of the building, he tried to focus. “Alright, I’m gonna turn invisible and block the doorway, hopefully they’ll run right into me and fall over or something,” he warned Luke before he quickly let his body turn invisible, transparent as he stood in front of the exit.

Ashton watched Anelie for a long moment, listening to her words. Ashton couldn't deny his heart seemed to leap with excitement, some sort of adrenaline that was different from a usual 'saving people' mission, when she called him sugar. Watching as she took off her mask, Ashton paused, his jaw slacking. "Shit," he murmured - if her ice hadn't frozen him, her beauty sure would of. When Calum snapped him out of his thoughts though, Ashton nodded, following quickly, his adrenaline helping him to grab the sleeve of Anelie's jacket. "Don't girls ever know when to stop?" He teased, his tone joking.

Cat paused as Anelie was grabbed. Trying to think fast, Cat grabbed Anelie's bag, hauling it over her own shoulder. Seeing Calum catch up, Cat rolled her eyes, causing pictures in frames to fall off the walls in front of Calum to buy them a bit more time, one falling on top of Ashton - who, in turn, let go of Anelie's sleeve from shock, but not at all affected by the frame. "Go," she shoved Anelie, laughing despite herself at the rush the whole chase gave her.

Luke nodded, leaning against the wall, knowing that if he had to, he could chase the girls down. Hearing footsteps drawing closer, Luke alerted himself, getting ready for any kind of chase. "Get ready, Mikey." He murmured.

Anelie had been shocked when she felt the tug at her sleeve and she turned, staring at Ashton with surprise before she snorted. “Don’t guys ever know when they’re outmatched?” she shot back, arching a brow, though a grin spread across her face when Cat acted fast. With her sleeve released, she stepped back. “Ta-ta. Try not to be a sore loser.” She winked, smirking, before she quickly turned to run when Cat shoved her.

Calum skidded to a stop when the pictures on the walls started falling and he held his arms above himself to protect himself just in case. When the pictures stopped falling, he stared after the girls, his gaze still focused on Cat, her laughter echoing through the bank, and, if they hadn’t been in the situation they were currently in, he would swear that he would never tire of hearing her laughter. “Shit,” he murmured, “Ashton, you okay?” Moving over, he quickly offered his hand out to try to help his friend up. “Hopefully Mikey and Luke can stop them.”

Michael nodded when he heard Luke’s words, staring at the exit, making sure he was fully invisible. “I’m ready,” he assured Luke quickly, hearing the footsteps nearing closer and closer until the girls were finally running out and, when they reached the exit, he blocked them, throwing his arms around them as they all fell down together. “Got them!” And he held tightly, trying to make sure not to let go, not wanting them to get away.

Luke took Anelie from Michael's hold so his friend didn't have to struggle, holding onto her wrist tightly. "You two look like you belong on Nickelodeon." He commented, once he caught a proper sight of Anelie and Cat, wondering what their motive was to rob a bank of thousands of dollars. Keeping a firm hold on Anelie though, Luke looked to the exit. "We got 'em!" He called, studying the pair with a confused, arched brow.

Ashton nodded. "I'm good, mate." He confirmed, grinning despite himself. "Are you alright?" He asked, taking Calum's outstretched hand when it was offered. Still, hearing Luke, Ashton looked to Calum. "Thank God for those two." He grinned. "C'mon, those girls are good, but we're better." He nudged Calum, not wanting to admit that the girl who could use ice to her advantage had captured his attention, in more ways than one.

Cat groaned as she felt on top of someone, trying to squirm her way out of their hold. "Are you serious? Invisibility? Of all things?!" She frowned as the idiot that had captured her. "Bet your Mom wished you used this a lot as a kid." She remarked quickly, ducking her head as she heard the boys' footsteps approaching the exit, Cat forced the exit door to slam shut, just to be annoying, at this point.

Michael kept a firm hold on Cat, moving to stand as he pulled her up with him. “Oh, come on, was that necessary?” he complained with a pout despite that she couldn’t see it with the fact that he was still invisible. Returning to normal, he shook his head. “That’s a little cruel, come on, I’m not picking on you for your telekinetic thing.” He blinked, though, seeing her slam the door shut with her mind and, admittedly, he couldn’t help but to laugh, amused with the small inconvenience to his friends.

Anelie glared at Luke for a long moment, trying to yank her hand free, trying to even spread ice up his skin, but she was distracted by what he said and she scoffed quietly. “If we looked like cute little Nickelodeon kids, maybe you shouldn’t be holding us so creepily, people might get the wrong idea,” she said casually, easily. Seeing Cat slam the door shut, though, she couldn’t help but to grin, wanting to add to the inconvenience, lifting her hand to freeze the door shut.

“I’m alright,” Calum assured Ashton with a nod, “I didn’t get hit.” He grinned, but he was sure that part of the reason he hadn’t gotten hit was because his senses made it easier for him to know where the pictures were falling from. Regardless, he nodded when he heard the others. “Let’s get this over with before things get too hectic.” And, really, he wanted to figure out a way to help the girl with the mind powers, not wanting her to get into any trouble - it wasn’t like she’d hurt anybody. Quickly, he ran to the exit, but paused when he couldn’t open it. “Oh, come on.”

Cat rolled her eyes at Michael's words. "Shut up, at least being telekinetic is more convenient than invisibility." Cat frowned, trying to get under Michael's skin so she could break free of his grip. Seeing Anelie freeze the door shut though, Cat grinned, amused. "Nice!" She grinned over to her best friend with amusement.

Luke rolled his eyes. "I'm probably not that much older than you, so zip it." Luke retorted, almost childishly, unable to stop himself from being childish. These girls had tried to rob a damn bank, and Luke didn't even know why he was taking part in the to and from anyway.

Ashton grinned back at Calum, shaking his head in amusement. "You have to admit, mate, these two put up a good chase." He shook his head with the thought, because he never usually would say that. But the girl - the one with the incredible power to freeze things - was so capitvating to Ashton, he couldn't help his curiosity and need to see her again, to help her. "They sound like they're doing this for a good cause though." Ashton moved Calum out of the way as he used his strength to pull the door open, although he struggled to do so. Taking a deep breath, Ashton looked to Calum. "Go."

Michael arched a brow with the mention of it. “You really think so?” he asked with amusement, watching Cat. “Because, last I checked, my invisibility helped us catch you, and you’re not having much luck getting away this time. I think my invisibility definitely beats your telekinesis, in this case.” Shaking his head, he peered over at the others when they arrived. “Great, you’re finally here. Gonna help or what?”

Anelie snorted in response, rolling her eyes as she tried to yank herself away from Luke. “You’re the one who said we look like we belong on Nickelodeon,” she shot back easily, scoffing quietly. “Don’t you four have anywhere better to be?” But, hearing Cat’s amused voice, she offered a small grin in response to her friend. “Thanks,” she chimed, though she pouted when she saw the others come through. “Oh, come on!”

Calum offered an amused look when he heard Ashton and he rolled his eyes. “Yeah, I can definitely admit that,” he told him honestly, chewing on his lip, “I’m curious about what all is going on.” But, more than anything, he was curious about the telekinetic, wondering what exactly had driven her to commit the crime. When Ashton moved him out of the way, he waited patiently but, once the door was open, he quickly made his way out, pausing as he looked at the others, blinking. “Well, look at that.”

Cat yanked herself away from Michael. "Don't get so cocky." She warned, not attempting to run off because she knew that she and Anelie had been cornered, getting away now would be almost impossible. Folding her arms against her chest, Cat used her telekinesis to send Luke flying away from Anelie, approaching her best friend with an apologetic smile, understanding everything that this heist meant to her, and it couldn't even be completed. "You okay?" She asked Anelie quietly when the other two clowns approached, rolling her eyes at the sight of them.

Luke made a noise of surprise when he was thrown backwards - not enough force to hurt him, but just enough force to get him to let go of Anelie and launch into the wall behind him. Glaring at Cat, Luke coughed, trying to catch his breath. "You two are possibly the most brattiest people we've ever caught, and we've met some real assholes." He frowned, watching the two friends closely as Calum and Ashton came and blocked their escape route, Luke having blocked the other.

Ashton listened to Calum's words closely and nodded. "There's definitely more that meets the eye." Ashton agreed, approaching Michael and Luke, and the two who had easily had the upper hand inside the bank. "Alright, Elsa and Anna?" He teased - hey, if the beauty had the ability of ice, he could at least make a good joke out of a bad situation. "Indulge me, I'm curious." He started. "You rob a bank - but what for?" He teased, crossing his arms over his chest as he grabbed onto Anelie's arm to ensure that they didn't run again.

Michael scoffed quietly. “Cocky?” he asked, “You two are the ones who wanted to rob a bank and got caught. Don’t be brats.” He rolled his eyes a bit but looked to Luke, nodding in agreement. “And these two have got quite the attitude, too, to go with their bratty behavior.” It was annoying, to say the least, especially when all he wanted was to get this over with so he could go back home to Ally. It was bad enough that he had to lie to the love of his life all the time, but these two were prolonging the time when he could already be back home with Ally in his arms, preparing to sleep.

Calum found himself watching the girls, his brows furrowed slightly as he watched the way they interacted. The girl who’d caught his interest the most, Cat, seemed to have so much concern or the other, and that just made him all the more curious and certain that something else was going on than just a simple robbery. “Something’s clearly going on here,” he tried, speaking mostly to Cat, “We’re willing to listen. Maybe we can even help. Even if these two -” He motioned towards Luke and Michael, rolling his eyes a bit to try to show Cat that he was being genuine. “- Are being complete assholes and ignoring that something’s got you two behaving like this.”

Anelie’s jaw clenched as she watched the others, her fists clenching at her sides. “We’re not brats!” she snapped angrily - how dare they? She and Cat were putting everything on the line, solely to save her dad. She could feel her eyes burn with tears, but she refused to break in front of these jerks. “I’m fine,” she muttered to Cat, though she knew she was so far from being fine that it was pathetic. Hearing Ashton, she peered over at him, swallowing hard, a part of her wanting to trust him, and she yanked her arm hard away from him. “It’s for my dad,” she said eventually, “Now either turn us in or go the fuck away.”

Cat rolled her eyes at Michael, trying, once again, to tug herself free from his grasp. "Attitude?!" Cat gasped. "If you weren't holding onto me this tightly, wonder boy, I wouldn't be having a fucking attitude." Hearing Anelie's reply though, she could hear her friend's tears behind her voice, and she softened, knowing that she wasn't helping the situation. Hearing the golden skinned boy speak, Cat lifted her gaze. "Anelie's Dad has cancer." Cat revealed quietly, loudly enough for everyone to hear, but wanting to approach the subject carefully, for Anelie's sake. "His surgery is going to cost thousands... we've tried fundraising and everything in between, but..." She exhaled. "If you still think we're bratty, then fair enough, but please, just let us go or book us in. We were doing something bad for a good cause, big deal." Looking to Calum, Cat exhaled.

Ashton listened carefully to the reasoning behind the crime, and he softened, looking to Anelie with nothing but sympathy behind his hazel eyes. "I get it." Ashton promised quietly, so only Anelie could hear him. She seemed to be more guarded, and although he understood why that was, he wanted, so desperately, to pull down the walls she'd built around herself. She was already in pain with her father's diagnosis, no doubt, and Ashton's heart ached with the knowledge that he was prolonging it. Chewing on his lip for a long moment, Ashton debated at the pros and cons of letting the beautiful felon go. "I'll tell you what," Ashton started, looking to Calum. "We let you go - just this once - if you tell us how your Dad's surgery went." He bargained. He'd never allowed anyone to walk free before, but there was no way he'd be able to handle seeing the sadness behind Anelie's eyes any longer. "What do you say?"
