Lancelot waited for the woman to introduce herself, instead she just looked at him before a scream echoed through museum and the woman in front of him took off, he watched her before taking off after her, she intrigued him to say the least. When the rounded the corner that was when he saw another, it seemed she had run into the famous Pharaoh however she looked just as confused and terrified as the one who had run into him had.

He followed her when she grabbed the other girl and the two ran into the main room where everything had come to life. He didn't have a chance to speak before Ahk had claiming that he could explain everything. The raven haired girl looked like she was going to faint she was breathing hard and her eyes were darting around everywhere.
Safiya? Ahkmenrah? what was he saying, this actor was really good at his job, her words were stuck in her throat even if she wanted to talk she couldn't. That was when Harper rounded the corner and Sofi had never been more relieved to see someone. She nodded her head and gripped the womans hand so tight as the two of them ran through the museum. They came to a halt as soon as they entered the main entrance, everything was moving, all the exhibits it seemed had come to life.

"Harper... what...??" the question dissolved on her tongue when 'Ahkmenrah' appeared again he spoke his words were still so calming, however Sofi was too worked up to calm down her breathing was laboured from the running, she could feel her pulse in her head. She tried to comprehend everything that was happening. This couldn't be happening, she was dreaming. She pinched herself only to find out that she wasn't. Suddenly she felt very light headed She felt herself sway before her knees buckled and she fell to the ground. She tried to blink away the spots that were appearing in the corner of her vision.

Ahkmenrah could only watch as Safiya tumbled to the floor, he shouldn’t have done more when he had first seen her to make sure that all of what she was witnessing didn’t overwhelm her. Rushing over to the two women, he grabbed a brochure from an exhibit’s stand, he had seen this work during a movie that he had watched when he was back in New York. Kneeling down beside Safiya, his dark warm eyes filled with concern for her. This was the last thing he wanted to happen to her, he wished she would have let him explain everything to her before the other woman ran off with her. Using the brochure, he started the fan Safiya hoping she wouldn’t faint, and he would be able to explain what was happening to her.

“How are you feeling? Do you like a glass of water? Did you want to sit up?” He asked as his eyes never left her, he hated himself for causing this to happen. He would do whatever she asked of him, even if that was to back up and give her some space. As long as she felt better, that is all that matter to him right now. “I apologise for making you feel this way,” His voice softened as he looked at her, he had been stupid. When he saw her, he couldn’t think about anything else. He had seen how long it took Larry to completely understand what he saw in New York on his first night shift, he knew he had to take things slow with new people, but when he saw it was Safiya, he felt excitement again and lost all of his thoughts.
“Sofi…” Harper gasped when she felt Sofi’s hand slip from her own as she fell to the floor, Harper was at her side in an instant but so was the man who was dressed up as the Pharaoh. Her hand reached to her waist and Harper nearly cried in relief, when her hand grabbed her walkie talkie. Pulling the black machine to her mouth, she buzzed for Tilly. “Tilly, call the police right now.” She spoke and awaited a reply from the blonde night guard, her eyes checked over Sofi but also moved to the two men to keep an eye on them. “I can’t call the police, Harper. You just need to listen to them,” Tilly’s voice came through the walkie talkie and shocked Harper, she hadn’t been expecting Tilly to say that to her. “No, call the police now.” Her voice came out as an order, why wouldn’t Tilly do what she was saying? “I know it’s confusing but let them explain. It’s true, I promise.” Tilly replied back, Harper knew the blonde guard well. She wouldn’t play a trick like this on Harper or lie to her, Harper then really noticed that Ahkmenrah was trying to help Sofi.

Slowly she stood up and looked at the blonde man, “Who are you? Because you can’t be Sir Lancelot, it’s impossible.” She looked at him as she wanted an explanation, whether she was ready to hear the truth or not was another question she had to ask herself. Because she knew she wasn’t dreaming, her mind wasn’t playing a trick on her. Somehow, the museum had come to life and none of it was possible in Harper’s mind. Sure, Lancelot was everything she had dreamed he would be, but that wasn’t the point. He was an exhibit in a museum, he isn’t meant to come back to life.

Lancelot startled when he saw the dark haired woman faint, he moved forward but Ahk was already there kneeling down to help her up. The male knew how strange this was. However he couldn’t understand why these two women were in the museum after nightfall. Normally there was only the blonde night guard who he knew was Tilly, the two of them spoke on occasion.

Lancelot watched as Harper, such a pretty name, grabbed her ‘walkie talkie’ and told Tilly to call the police. However the night guards voice came back clear that she couldn’t do that. Instead she said that the two of them had to listen to what they had to say. He saw the frustration and confusion become prominent on the woman’s face as turned her gaze to him, her dazzling eyes locking with his and hek felt his heart pound like it a done the first time he had seen Gwenivere

‘I know how strange this must all seem my lady but it is true. I am in fact Lancelot,’ Lancelot understood very little about how he came to be so he thought it best that Ahk the weirder of the magical tablet tell the two woman how this all came to be. ‘I believe that it would be best if Ahkmenrah explained how all this came to be.”
Sofia was still blinking away the spots when Akhmenrah spoke to her, the female looked up at him, he was doting over her, fanning her asking if she needed water or to sit up. He had a handsome face there was no denying that but why did he call her Safiya?

Sofi could hear Harper beside her on her radio, her head snapped around when the woman on the other end said that she couldn’t call the police and that they had to hear them out.

‘She’s joking right, please tell me she is joking,” she watched as Harper turned her attention to the male who stood in full armour minus the helmet. When the male declared that he was Lancelot she didn’t know whether to laugh or bury her face in her hands and wait for this to be over. However when he said it was best that Ahkmenrah explain everything her gaze went back to the male before her. However she kept her lips sealed and decided to hear him out. Plus there was always the exhibits if they were who they are claiming the be the exhibits would be empty. She could always check them after she has heard what has to be told.

Ahkmenrah knew that he couldn’t take how the caramel skinned beauty was acting as personal, it would be shocking and confusing to anyone, to say the leased. Which is why he had to explain just how the exhibits in the museum were coming to life, after the sun set every day. “I can only imagine how this all must seem to the both of you, and if you don’t believe me to begin with, that is okay.” He started off as his eyes moved between the women, he hoped that they would at least believe him enough to know that he was who he was claiming to be.

“All of this, the exhibits coming back to life only happens when the sun sets. And it happens from the tablet that my father had his high priest created after I was born, he had imbued the tablet with the moon God, Khonsu’s, magic and power. My father had given the tablet to me, so that I would be reunited with my family after we had died.” Ahkmenrah didn’t want to overwhelm the women, but he also felt it was important to tell them all that he knew about the tablet and how it constantly revived the exhibits that were held in the same place as the tablet itself.

“Once the sun rises, the magic wares off and we go back to being exhibits. If we leave the presence of the tablet and the sun rays touch us, we do turn into dust as the magic only lasts as long as the moon does.” His gaze fell back onto the raven haired woman who held his heart still to this day, the woman he had planned on making his wife and his Queen. “I hope my explanation was enough,” He prayed that what he told them, would be enough for them but it was all up to them now. He couldn’t do much more now.
Harper stood there as she listened to the words that Ahkmenrah was saying, she was silent as she let herself really think about what she was hearing. The way it was explained to her, was exactly the way her favourite story had been told to her, about what the tablet was for and how it came about. It still confused her as to how all of this was possible, because the last time she checked, the moon didn’t hold magic. But as she glanced around the large main room of the museum, she could see for herself that the exhibits were in fact, alive again.

Did she want to believe this was all really happening? No, she didn’t because it was still impossible. However, she knew that the world had been a different place when the Egyptian Pharaohs ruled. Her eyes landed on Sofi who was still on the floor, it was only earlier that morning that Harper had shared a few stories of what the tablet was for, she had even mentioned the one that Ahkmenrah had just told them.

“It sounds insane, but… maybe this is actually happening.” She looked at Sofi and realised maybe this was the reason behind why the New York museum never hired new night guards, because most people would run away screaming if they witnessed what Harper just had.

Lancelot listened along as Ahk retold the story of the tablet to the women. He watched their reactions to see how they would take it all in. It seemed like the woman on the floor was having the hardest time understanding what was really happening. However Harper even though it was insane was coming to grips with the reality of the situation.

“Oh believe me it is, perhaps I could show you around and you would be able to see the extend of the tablets power,”’ he waited for the young woman to answer. He would take her from one end of the museum to the other and show her all the exhibits that had come to life.
Sofi listed as Ahkmenrah explained the situation. Slowly it became a little clearer, everything he was saying vaguely made sense she had heard similar tales about Ahkmenrah’s father making a deal with the moon God but she had never heard of this tablet.

“So... this is insane... but...” she turned to look at Harper when Lancelot suggest he show her around. Sofi simply nodded her head, she was alright the spots were fading she didn’t need to be closely watched over. Plus she had questions for the Pharoh in front of her. Mainly about this Safiya woman.

Ahkmenrah watched as Lancelot guided the brunette away before he turned his attention back onto the woman in front of him, “Are you feeling better? I can help you over to a chair, if you would like?” He asked as he had by this time, stopped fanning her face as she seemed to be doing somewhat better than when she had fainted. He wasn’t sure what else he could do to help her feel more like herself, after not having much human contact, especially not with someone so beautiful, he was rusty when it came to talking to people he didn’t know and who weren’t an exhibit like he was.

He was still going to make sure she was comfortable, so if she didn’t want to sit on the floor then he would help her to her feet and over to the closest bench. He would go find her some water, if she wanted to drink or he could do nothing and just give her some time. “I truly never meant to scare you… I was trying to help.” He spoke remembering the expression that was on her face after he had moved her away from Xiangliu.
Harper quickly glanced over at Sofi and only left her because the colour was coming back to her face, “Okay” She looked at the handsome blonde, even though she knew every inch of the museum, she didn’t want to walk around on her own if all the exhibits were going to be alive and moving around her. She let Lancelot take the lead but decided to stay fairly close to him, she was still trying to wrap her head around the entire situation. She suddenly had the urge to reach out and touch him, just to make sure this all wasn’t a dream, but she decided against it, at least for right now. But she couldn’t help herself, her eyes kept going back to him, whether because he was Lancelot or because it felt like a dream or because of his good looks.

“I’ve been here a few times after the museum shuts, and I’ve never seen anyone come back to life.” She spoke softly as her eyes took him in as they walked, had she just not been paying attention on those late days she had worked, or had the tablet just not kicked into working and she left too early. She was glad that Sofi had been there with her, only because if Harper had been on her own, she would have had a heart attack.

Lancelot headed toward the the farthest end of the building, they passed several exhibits some that didn’t talk others that either waved, bowed, or tipped hats in greeting. He watched the brunette as she walked beside him when she spoke he nodded along with her.

“Hmm that is rather surprising perhaps you just were not paying close attention or the exhibits froze as soon as they saw you... there could be many explanations as to why you have not noticed us before...” he trailed off before sleaking again. “Might I ask what you like so much a hit history and this place.”
Sofi nodded her head. “Yes I am feeling better, sitting on a chair sounds nice,” she nodded her head before she took the males hand and got to her feet.

Once she was sitting she spoke. “I believed that you weren’t trying to scare me... believe me... but I have a question for you... why did you call me Safiya? Who was she? I clearly reminded you of her... but my name is Sofi...” she was intrigued to find out more about this man... this historical figure... she still couldn’t believe that she was talking to the actual Ahkmenrah.

Ahkmenrah was quick to his feet when she stated that she would like to sit down, he took her hand into his and guided her over to a bench. The physical contact felt good to him, really good. He looked at her when she asked him about why he had called her Safiya, when it was clearly not her name, yet she looks exactly like the woman who was his mother’s servant. Sitting on the bench beside her, he looked down at his hands which he rested on his legs.

“You look so much like her, when I first saw you, I saw her and I apologize for that.” He didn’t want Sofi thinking that he thought she was still his Safiya, he knew now that she wasn’t the woman he had loved so long ago. “She was a servant of my mother’s… yet she was more than a servant to me, she was everything to me. I had wanted to make her my wife, though I never got the chance.” He spoke remembering how his life had been cut so short, he did wonder what had happened to Safiya after his death. It was a question he knew would never be answered.
“Maybe…” Harper mumbled softly as her eyes moved to the exhibits around them, she watched as they stopped at the sight of her. Some bowed in Lancelot’s presence, some tipped their hats and others waved at them. She had to admit that everyone seemed truly happy. His question caught her off guard a little, she looked over at him as she continued to follow him through the museum. “My mother was a history teacher, she would always take me to museums when I was growing up. She would explain everything she could to me about the different times the world had been through.” She told him fondly as she remembered the time she had spent in museums and reading heavy books about events in history.

“I’ve just always been fascinated by it and working here is a dream to me.” It was something in her life that most didn’t understand and wouldn’t understand, if they didn’t share the same passion about history as she did. “Do you… still remember Camelot?” She wasn’t sure how to word what she was asking him, and she didn’t want to upset him if he didn’t remember what his home once was like. Yet she was still curious, however once the words left her mouth, she bit down onto her lip as she wanted to take her words back.

Lancelot listened to Harper as she spoke of her mother. The history teacher. He could hear the fondness in her voice as she reflected back on the memories of her mother. He looked at her and she had a dreamy look in her eyes, she had a love for history which was obvious.

He cleared his throat, “Yes... yes I still remember Camelot” how could he forget it. It was the place where he was knighted, he befriended a king and fell in love with a Queen so beautiful everyone envied her. To say he didn’t miss his home would be a lie but he was slowly starting to see that there were some things in today’s world that were better and now that he was walking beside a woman who’s beauty shone bright... if not brighter than the queen he had loved all those years ago. “I remember it all.”he had a strange feeling she was going to ask him about it.
Sofi listened to the young Pharoh she could hear the hurt in his voice from his loss. The fact that his life had been cut so horribly short by his horrible brother. She could see that he still thought of her and if she was bring honest she was sure she would be the same.

‘I’m so very sorry... perhaps... I could find out about her... see what happened to her... if you would like... I know it isn’t the same as having her here and being able to... well...” she trailed off. Would he want that or would that hurt him to know what had happened to his beloved. She quickly changed the subject.

“So if you’re here does that mean your parents are too?” She would love to meet the legendary parents of Ahkmenrah but she wasn’t going to push it. Perhaps this would be enough just for tonight.

Ahkmenrah shook his head as he didn’t want Sofi to feel bad for him, but when she asked him if he would like her to look into what did happen to Safiya, did he want to know? Or did he feel better imagining that she would have had a nice life after his death? “If you have the time, you could but only if you have time spare.” He brought his eyes to hers, even if Sofi did find out more about Safiya and it wasn’t a happy ending, he knew there was nothing he’d be able to do about it. Thinking about how much Sofi did look like his love, made him wonder if Safiya had married and had a family of her own, otherwise how would Sofi resemble her so greatly?

“Yes, my parents are around the museum somewhere. Would you like me to go find them?” He asked Sofi, if she wanted to meet his parents then he would make it happen. He just hoped she wasn’t over doing it, she did after all faint not too long ago. And he was certain his mother would also recognise Sofi as being Safiya.
Harper just wanted to know what Camelot was like, but she wasn’t sure if she should ask Lancelot, considering what he must have gone through while he was there. She knew that he didn’t have the easiest time, being in love with someone he wasn’t meant to have those feelings for. “I bet it was a beautiful place to be,” She settled on that instead of asking him, maybe she would ask him later on. “Is the amour heavy to wear?” She asked him as he didn’t seem to be struggling, but it was a suit of metal, it had to be heavy to wear.

Seeing the exhibits walking around and chatting to each other was still surreal to Harper, so much so that when they turned a corner and she nearly walked into a caveman, she instinctively moved closer to Lancelot and bumped into him, rather than bumping into a caveman who wasn’t speaking English. “Sorry,” She looked at Lancelot before quickly looking away from him again.

Lanacelot smiled as his memory went back to Camelot, everything was so different maybe simpler, from what he had seen of this time things seemed more complicated, people spoke to each other though little machines and not face to face, which baffled Lancelot the most. How was that possible? Was it witchcraft?

'Oh this?" he looked down at his armour, "It can get a little heavy after a while but I am use to it having worn it for as long as I could remember it was one way the men gained strength..." the two rounded the corner coming face to face with a caveman who was speaking nonsense, Lancelot felt Harper bump into him. He chuckled when she apologised. "It is nothing, come," he held out his arm being the gentleman he was, he watched as the caveman moved onto more interesting things.

"So, how long have you worked in this building?" Lancelot was trying to strike up a conversation while the two walked together.
Sofi nodded her head, she wasn't just searching for information about Safiya for Ahkmenrah she was searching about it for herself. She had to know who this woman was that she looked so much like.

"Please, it would be an honour," she smiled, rising to her feet she was still a little wobbly, so much so that she stumbled into Ahkmenrah's arms. "Oh I am so sorry," she apologised before righting herself and inhaling a few times. She could do this. "Is your brother here as well..." a knot formed in her stomach she had read about the dreaded Kahmunrah, she was certain she didn't want to meet him. Her eyes moved over to the young Pharaohs as she awaited his answer.

Ahkmenrah nodded his head, if she wished to meet his parents then he would find them for her. Watching her, his arms instinctively reached out when he noticed how wobbly she was when she stood up. “No need to apologize.” He looked at her and he couldn’t help but smile, more so to himself, because at least to him, having physical contact felt wonderful to him. Even if it was just holding her arms to help steady her. “No, my brother isn’t here. You won’t need to worry about him,” He assured her when he saw a nervousness cross her beautiful features, his brother was the last person he wanted to have in the museum.

“Shall we?” He asked Sofi as he offered his arm for her to take, once she had he started to guide her through the museum to find where his parents were. “Do you work here in the museum?” He asked as he walked beside her, admiring her from the corner of his eye and every time he did look at her. He was trying to be sneaky about it, not wanting to creep Sofi out when she was still coming to terms with finding out the exhibits come to life when no one is around.
Harper watched as the caveman continued to walk away from them, it was only when she turned her attention back onto Lancelot, that she noticed he was holding his arm out for her to take. Resting her hand on his arm, she continued to follow him as he still guided her through the museum. “Just over a year now,” She told him with a smile gracing her lips, this was the best job that she has had in her life. And she planned to stay there at the museum for as long as she could, she didn’t have any plans for leaving her job there. “This has been the greatest job that I’ve had so far, I have no plans on leaving.”

She could tell that wearing the armour would be a way for men to gain the strength and muscle that they needed to fight, she couldn’t see if Lancelot had the body that she imagined he would from wearing the armour. “If you would like, I could bring you some clothes in on my next shift. So, you don’t have to always wear the armour when you… wake up.” She offered him, not sure if he was uncomfortable with wearing his armour constantly.

A year, a whole three hundred and sixty five days she had been working in this place. It seemed like ages but Lancelot could see how happy she was and how much joy this place brought her. A small feeling of joy sparked in the male when the young woman said she had no desire to leave this place which meant he would have more time with her. He would be able to get to know her more and more each time she was here, if she were here as late as she was today.

Lancelot was a little taken aback when she suggested bringing him a change of clothing, it had been so long since he had taken his armour off he had become so accustomed to it, but as he thought more on it he realised how much nicer it would be to not be so stiff when he walked and even with his strength the armour could wear him down.

"I would like that very much thank you," he paused before speaking again, "It will be different not having to wear this all the time," he stated indicating at his clanging armour. "So Harper tell me a little about yourself." he turned to look at her as they walked along, she was very beautiful there was no denying he was enamoured.
Sofi felt easier when Akhmenrah said that his brother was not here, the knot in her stomach loosened and she allowed herself to smile, she was still anxious to meet Ahkmenrah's parents. She wondered if they would act the same way Ahk did.

"No I don't... well not yet, that was why I was here, I was coming in for an interview with Harper when all of this happened... and... well I am not sure if I got the job... but I don't think it matters too much at this point in time... she is pretty occupied with Lancelot," Sofi couldn't help the smile that creeped across her face at how the legendary Lancelot had saved Harper, the very first knight in shining armour.

"My Son!" Sofi turned her head and advancing toward the two of them adorned in gold and jewels was the King and Queen, she didn't know what to do, was she meant to bow or however that idea soon dissolved when the queen let out a loud scream. Sofi looked at the woman and her face had paled in colour and her hands were pressed to her lips. "Safiya?!" was all she said before fainting.

There it was again, that name, Sofi really had no idea what was going on but she rushed over to the Royals side her husband was knelt down beside her, she was blinking rapidly and speaking in a language she couldn't understand.

"What is she saying?" Sofi asked her voice soft as she lifted her eyes to look at the King.

"How can this be?" Shepseheret spoke, "You were killed, how are you here?" Sofi's eyes shot to Ahkmenrah's. She may not have to do much research at all to seek the answers she wanted.

Akhmenrah had heard the word interview before, from Larry after he had been released from his sarcophagus. Though he still wasn’t really sure what an interview meant. Hearing his parents approaching, he turned to look at them and watched as their eyes moved from him and onto Sofi. When his mother fainted, he rushed over to her side and was about to start explaining how Sofi wasn’t who they all first thought she was.

His mouth shut when he heard his father, a frown formed on his face as his eyes moved between his father and Sofi. “Her name is Sofi, she isn’t Safiya… we aren’t sure how or why she looks like Safiya, but this is Sofi.” He glanced over at Sofi with an apologetic smile on his face, he knew this is how his parents would react to seeing her.

“Sofi?” Merenkahre spoke as his dark eyes moved onto the woman who had served his wife for many years, he was confused as he looked to his son. How could this woman look exactly like Safiya and not be her? “You are not like us,” He stated as he looked back at Sofi and noticed how she wasn’t an exhibit, he hadn’t seen her before and her clothes were strange to him.

“Mother… how do you know that Safiya was killed?” Ahk couldn’t wait any longer, if his mother knew what happened to the woman he loved. He wanted to know, for himself but also for Sofi, she should know what happened to the woman that she resembles so greatly.
Harper couldn’t help but smile when Lancelot agreed to having her bring him in some clothes that he could wear, instead of constantly wearing his amour. “Great, I’ll have something for you to wear tomorrow night.” She assured him as she continued to walk with him, even though she was still wrapping her mind around everything she had been told and everything she has seen.

It was like she was already getting used to it all, she was still seeing exhibits moving around freely and talking, and it wasn’t as shocking to her now. Or maybe it was because Lancelot was there and taking her mind off of it all.

“There isn’t really much to tell you, I’m not this exciting knight who has fought for a kingdom or saved people.” She looked at him as her life would be boring to him, and she didn’t want him to find her boring, yet she couldn’t lie to him and make up this life that she didn’t have. “I really just work here, I might go out every now and again to a bar with some friends.” Her friends had exciting lives, but Harper was happy with her life, her love life could be better but she was still happy doing the things she wanted to.

Lancelot nodded his head and thanked her when Harper said she would bring some tomorrow night. He felt somewhat elated knowing that he would see her again tomorrow night. It had been a while since he had been able to speak with anybody outside the museum, it had been a year since Larry left and once he had got to know all the people and creatures in the museum it wasn't the same as speaking with someone new. Someone from the outside world.

A small smile played on his lips as Harper spoke of his conquests but he highly doubted she was boring, when she mentioned a bar his brows furrowed together. How could one hang out at a bar with friends? Isn't a bar something that is placed in the ground, a sort of structural beam.

"What's a bar?" he asked turning to look at her.
Shepseheret looked at the young woman before her, when she heard her husbands comment the woman really looked at the female who knelt beside her. She noticed the little things that showed this woman was not Safiya, she was a modern woman with modern clothes, yet everything else about her was exactly the same as the maiden that had been by her side since she was a child.

"My child I am terribly sorry," she apologised. Sofi smiled before shaking her head.

"No, it's okay... but who was this Safiya? How was she killed?" Sofi watched as the Queens eyes drifted over to her son. Instantly she regretted asking the question because it seemed like the answers to her questions were going to be grim.

"Safiya was my maid, though she was more like a daughter. She grew up in the Palace with my sons, playing and schooling with them until she was older that was when she became my maid. I knew of Ahkmenrah's feelings for her for many years. Even though he was too stubborn to admit it. The two became engaged, both my husband and I were happy for the reunion..." the woman paused Sofi felt her skin break out in goosebumps this was not going to end well.

"When Ahkmenrah was no longer...Kahmunrah gave her a choice... become his wife or die..." Shepseheret trailed off tears in her eyes.

"She chose the latter," Sofi finished a shudder running down her spine. Sofi knew she still had some digging to do, to find out more about Safiya, she wanted to know more and how she could possibly look like her, if their bloodlines were connected.

Merenkahre gently rested his hand on his son’s shoulder to comfort him as his wife spoke about the death of his first love, the pain would cut deep for Ahk as Safiya didn’t just die. She was killed by a person that they were all meant to be close to, he couldn’t stop how he felt about his oldest son for what he did. He despised Kahmunrah for giving Safiya an impossible choice, and even though Merenkahre lost her at the hands of his son, he praised her for being so strong.

“We will help in any way that we can, there will be a reason for the resemblance you share with our Safiya.” Merenkahre spoke up for both himself and his Queen, he wanted to help Sofi and Ahkmenrah understand how she could share her looks with someone who lived and died so long ago. He hoped it would also help heal his son’s heartache, that would take time, but he hoped that Sofi would be able to help with that too, as Ahkmenrah and Safiya weren’t given much of a chance to grow their love.

Ahkmenrah didn’t know what to say, his eyes stared at the tiled floor and soon turned into a glare. His own brother had not only tried to steal Safiya’s heart, but when she had told him no, he had her killed for it. It wasn’t enough that Kahmunrah had killed him, he then went after the only woman Ahk had ever loved and took her life as well. Hearing his father’s words settled the anger in Ahk’s chest, his eyes moved onto Sofi and he knew in that instant, he had to push his emotions to the side as she needed answers.

“I don’t know where we’d even start,” Looking to his parents in hopes they may know where they could start searching, maybe they knew of someone who could help, or they could have overheard something at one point in time. However, the night was carrying on and he wasn’t sure how much longer Sofi would be able to stay there with him.
Harper smiled when Lancelot questioned her about what a bar was, “A bar is a social place where people go with friends or even on their own. Drinks are made there for people and music is played, people normally go to talk and have a night out.” She explained to him as her eyes roamed the hallways of the museum, taking in every exhibit that past them as they walked together. She realised that Lancelot would never be able to experience when she so naturally does in the world, he wouldn’t be able to go to a bar or go dancing or even fall in love. Though, he had loved Guinevere and probably still did love her to this day.

She wondered if he knew what was outside the museum doors, yet she wouldn’t ask him that just yet. “What do you do all night?” She turned to look at him, did he just walk the hallways all night and talk to the exhibits that could speak English. Harper couldn’t see that as being a good life for anyone, it made her sad knowing that Lancelot would be stuck in this. Coming to life only at night, only being about to talk to the same people every night, never being able to explore the world and experience new things.
