Michael couldn’t help but to laugh with his friend’s words, shaking his head slightly. “You say that, but I’m half certain you’re lying a little there,” he teased lightly, nudging his friend teasingly as he peered around. Outside of helping Luke out a bit, he didn’t really have much of a reason to be here, but he didn’t have anything better to do, either, o when Luke had asked for the help, Michael hadn’t minded agreeing, because there wasn’t any real reason to not help, anyways. Looking to his friend when he heard him speak, he looked to the store they’d come to a stop in front of, and he nodded slightly in approval. “Alright, then let’s get this over with.” Shifting, he led the way inside, but motioned for Luke to lead the way from there, since they were shopping for Luke’s home.
Esme watched people quietly, taking in their clothes as casually as she could, looking for anything expensive in what they were wearing - clothes, jewelry, watches, shoes, briefcases, whatever they had on them. So many people took money for granted and she and Genevieve had learned over time that a few missing dollars wouldn’t really break their banks, whereas it would mean the world to her and Genevieve, provide them with a meal for the day at the very least. Blinking when she felt Genevieve nudge her, she followed her friend’s gaze, watching the pair of men as they’d walked, the brands they were wearing well-known and pricey. Looking to Genevieve, she nodded her approval, deciding they were worthy targets.
