Alora exhaled as she got into the elevator. She was alone, and she was grateful, because after an afternoon of running errands for her mother, she was glad to just have a moment of silence to herself. Placing her bags by her feet, Alora pressed the button for the ground floor, leaning against the rail, Alora ran a hand through her hair, eager to finish her task so she could get back to her own apartment and relax. Christmas was always a hectic time of year, and Alora hated being within three foot of any store when people were running blindly for the best deals.
Luke got into the elevator at the very top floor of the building the record label 5 Seconds of Summer were signed under. He was sure the label owned the entire top floor, because all over the walls were vinyls of artists that had hit platinum or gold record sales. Pressing the ground floor button, Luke tensed a little as the metal box began to move - elevators made him nervous at the best of times, because anything could go wrong, and in a building this big, Luke was sure that if the cables gave in, he'd fall to his death. Shaking the thought out of his head, Luke toyed with his lower lip, wishing he had taken the stairs but grateful that he didn't, because he was too tired from travelling. Looking as his elevator came to a halt a few floors later, Luke stayed put as the doors opened, staring at his feet.
