"Come on, Julian." Talia whistled to her Great Dane puppy, laughing as the three foot mess of legs came tumbling towards her as fast as he could. Julian had been a birthday present for Talia, from her parents, and she could honestly say he was the best gift she'd ever received. She'd called ahead of time to book Julian in for his first boosters - Talia being more anxious than Julian - so as soon as she'd signed him in, she went to find a seat, somewhere where the giant pup couldn't be too much of an issue to other dog owners. Finding a seat in the corner, Talia sat down, smiling as Julian settled, looking around to find a new playmate.
Luke smiled at the familiar receptionist as he walked into the vets office, Petunia following behind him reluctantly. The dog had had surgery, and it was time to remove her stitches and get her checked over before she got the all clear. For the time she was recovering, Luke would openly admit that she had been spoiled - more so than usual, complete with treats, nights spent on the bed with himself, and lay ins in the morning. Luke couldn't even believe he had so much love for a dog. Still, as Luke went to find a seat, he studied the room carefully - a few cats in crates here, a hamster there, and then a beautiful miniature pinscher puppy came into sight, and Luke was sure he could feel his face light up. Looking to the puppy's human though, Luke's heart almost stopped when he saw a beautiful redhead, and smiling, he offered her a nod.
