Ryan smiled as she looked at her happy one and a half year old son, Aaron, laughing at the cartoon that was the playing from the little TVshe had set up in the kitchen. She did this so that she could cook and keep an eye on her son, while keeping him entertained. Ryan was almost done cooking dinner, and she was surprised that her fiance, Zacky, wasn't home yet. Usually he calls if he was going to be late. Ryan shrugged her shoulders lightly as she continued to finish cooking dinner. She figured that maybe his business meeting had ran later than planned. Zacky runs a business with three of his friends, but Ryan didn't really understand what he really did particular for the business because she didnt really understand the type of business they were in.

Hearing Aaron's laughs made Ryan briefly forget her thoughts about Zacky, as she walked over to her son and gave him couple kisses around his face, making him laugh even more. "Love you my munchkin."she said before hearing her cellphone ring. She grabbed it from the counter and seeing that it was her fiance calling, she slides the green phone icon on the screen across, before pressing the device to her ear. "Hey babe, I was worried about you, dinner is almost ready and your not hear." She spoke but then Zacky cut her off explaining his whereabouts.

"You're what?! Are you okay?" She asked as she was now worried about her fiance who happened to be at the hospital. "Okay, let me turn off the stove and get Aaron ready, and I'll head over to the hospital. Do not move until I get there." Ryan said and ended the call. She didn't know what happened to Zacky and why he was in the hospital, but Ryan did what she said was going to do and head her way over to pick him up.

Brian was at the hospital, now sitting up slightly after waking up from the anesthesia. Groaning from the slight pain coming from his right shoulder and his lower abdomen, he slowly moved his body so he could sit up straight. Once he was sitting straight, he looked at his patched shoulder and abdomen, remembering what had happened. He was in a street fighting match with his number one rival. Brian of course won this match but the other guy wasn't having it, so the guy pulled a sneak attack on him which caused Brian to dislocate his shoulder. That when all hell went loose, Brian and his gang began attacking the rival and his gang which caused guns to be drawn out and a shoot out began. Unfortunately for Brian, he had gotten hit by bullet in his lower abdomen and then the rival gang ended up abandoning the building while Brian's gang called the ambulance.

Hearing a knock on the door, Brian looked up to see his doctor was at the door, shaking his head , but chuckled. Brian rolled his eyes but lifts his chin so that the doctor could come in. This wasn't your ordinary doctor, this doctor was the one Brian and his gang members hired so that the doctor would keep any records away from the police. The doctor explained to Brian the damage, how long the healing process was, and prescribed medicine for the pain he would have. The doctor checked Brian's vitals one last time to make sure he was good enough to leave. "I called your fiance, Ally, she should be here soon to pick you up. So I'll have the nurse bring your discharge papers." He said as he backed away from Brian after doing the testings.

Brian froze. The last thing he wanted was Ally finding out. She didnt know that he was involved in a gang and street fighting, and he especially didnt want her to know now. "Come on doc, is that really necessary? I can get myself home. I'll have the guys take me." The doctor shook his head, "No can do. Zacky, and Matt are injured as well. Besides the medicine I gave you is too strong for you to walk on your own let alone operate a vehicle. So we had to call your fiance to pick you up." The doctor explained before leaving the room.

Ally had just finished cooking dinner as she peaked around the corner into the living room where Lexie was playing. Seeing the two year old content with her blocks, Ally went back to the kitchen and put their dinner inside the oven to keep it warm. Brian should have been home well over an hour ago and Ally hadn’t heard from him since earlier in the day. She was starting to worry about him, it was unusual for Brian not to check in with her at some point during the night, especially if he wasn’t going to be home on time.

Just as she was about to make her way into the living room, her phone rang. She didn’t recognize the number, but answered anyway, “Hello?” Ally listened as the doctor on the other end told her what had happened to Brian. “U-um, I’ll be right there, thank you,” she hung up and quickly went to get Lexie ready. Making their way out to her car, she put Lexie in her seat and got in herself and started driving.

After reaching the hospital, Ally went in and was quickly directed to Brian’s room. She had to compose herself before opening the door. Knocking softly, she opened the door and stepped inside with Lexie in her arms. “What happened?” Ally asked him as she walked over and sat down in the chair next to him.

Things had gotten out of hand, Zacky knew that. He had been watching Brian’s fight and the next thing he knew it turned into an all out brawl between their gang and Brian’s opponent’s. It had been fine until he felt a sharp pain shoot through his leg. He hadn’t realized it right away, but he had a gunshot wound to the leg.

Zacky turned his attention to the door when his doctor walked in. He had already told him about Brian and Matt, so Zacky was expecting to get his discharge papers and be on his way. He raised an eyebrow when the doctor spike, “You’re going to need a ride home, I would suggest calling your fiancé because none of you boys are in any condition to drive.” He had dreaded those words before they were even said.

Once the doctor left, Zacky let his head fall back as he grabbed his phone and dialed Ryan’s number. He tried to figure out the best way to tell her where he was. Hearing her voice on the other end of the line, he couldn’t help smiling. It faded when he remembered why he had called her, “Babe, I need you to come pick me up from the hospital.” He sighed softly, “I’ll explain everything when you get here, thank you.” He ended the call and tried to relax until she got there.

Ryan parked her car in an open spot in the hospital's parking garage and quickly got out Aaron out of his carseat before rushing into the hospital. She went to front desk and asked for Zacky, in which the nurse pointed in the direction oh his room while telling her the room number. When Ryan arrived to the room, she saw Zacky's leg was bandaged up and she saw a couple of bruises on his face.

"Zacky what happened to you?" Ryan asked her fiance, with worry written on her face.

"Dadadada" baby Aaron cooed as he reached his arms out to his father. Ryan leaned down and gently placed Aaron in Zacky's lap before standing back and crossed her arms.

"Zacky, how did you get shot in the leg and those bruises? Did you call the police? Please tell me what's going on."

Brian sighed, he needed to come up with a good cover up because Ally didnt know that he was in a gang and involved with street fighting. All Ally knew was that he was a business man, which was of course was a cover up because if he were to tell her, she would leave him for sure and he cant imagine life without his fiance and his little girl.

"We had a guy try to rob us, but he was armed and he had back up which we weren't prepared for. The guy shot me but it missed all organs and my shoulder got dislocated." He told her trying to cover up what really happened. However, he saw the look on Ally's face, which meant that she knew he was lying.

Sighing once more, Brian reached to grab her hand with his free hand, while he was holding Kylie in his lap. "Do you love me? And will you just hear me out." He asked Ally, which she nodded softly as a response. "Me, Zacky, Matt, and Johnny are in a gang and we also streetfight. Anyway, I had a match with a member of our rival gang, which I won. However, my opponent didnt like the fact he lost so he had attacked me, and hell broke loose when his gang members started attacking the guys and weapons were drawn out. So I ended up getting shot near my hip and I dislocated my shoulder when I was trying to get the guy off of me." He explained, looking away from his fiance.

Ally tried her best not to roll her eyes at Brian’s story, she didn’t buy a single bit of it. Judging by the look on his face, he knew his lie wasn’t working. She became a bit more worried when he grabbed her hand and held Lexie in his lap. “You know I love you, I’d rather you tell me the truth instead of lying to me,” Ally told him.

The words rang in her ears, the business Brian was in was a gang and not only that he was involved in street fighting. Ally needed a moment to process everything as she stood up from her chair and took a step back. Running a hand through her hair, Ally glanced out the window. There were so many things she wanted to ask him, but no words were coming to her.

“I’m glad you’re okay, but how am I supposed to react to this?” Ally asked him, crossing her arms over her chest as she watched Lexie squirm around on Brian’s lap, “Daaaddy...” The little girl smiled as she tried to get his attention. It broke Ally’s heart to know that Brian had been lying to her all this time, “What if something were to happen to Lexie? I should have questioned more...” Part of her blamed herself, while the other part was so angry at Brian.

Zacky had his story down to the finest detail before Ryan came in. Seeing her walk through the door with Aaron, Zacky felt the guilt wash over him. What if something had gone worse? “It was a really well organized robbery, more guys than we could have guessed. We tried to fight them off until the decided to pull guns on us...”

As soon as the last words left his mouth, Zack knew the lie was pointless. Ryan didn’t believe a bit of it as she came closer and placed Aaron on his lap. Zacky wrapped his arms around their son and held him. There had to be a way to explain things to Ryan without her over reacting and leaving.

“Listen, I just need you to hear me out, okay? You love me, right?” Zacky asked, waiting for her response. Seeing her nod, he sighed, “Brian, Matt, Johnny, and I are in a gang and some street fighting, it’s mostly Brian on that part, but we all take our turns.” He took a breath before continuing, “Brian had a fight tonight with a guy from our rival gang, it went haywire after Brian won. The guy attacked him and it turned in to an all out brawl, and then a shoot out, I took a bullet to the leg...”

Ryan sighed and looked away from Zacky, running her hand through her blue ombre hair, upset at him. Taking a deep breath, she faced Zacky once more, "how long have you been involved with this gang stuff and the fighting?" She asked, hoping this was a recent thing. When Zacky sighed and told her that he had been involved in this lifestyle before the two met, Ryan felt tears roll down her cheeks.

"So when you say business, you mean that you were out there doing gang related things and street fighting?!" Ryan asked, with her voice raising slightly. Zacky sighed once more but nodded in confirmation.

"I cant believe this." Ryan said even more upset. "You have been lying to me the whole time? Not only that you are putting not only yourself but me and our son in danger with this gang and street involvement, Zacky." She said before heading towards the door. "Just give me a minute while I process this." She said before leaving the room.

Brian reached out for Ally's hand and held it in his his own. "Babe, please. Don't blame yourself. I should have been honest to you from the start. But I didnt want you to leave me, because your my one." He told her, being completely honest.

"I know me being in gang is dangerous, but I would never let anyone harm you or our baby girl. I would die for you two because I love you both so much, and that's the honest truth." He said, pulling ally closer to him, wrapping his free arm around her waist. "When we get home and put little on here to bed, I will let you ask me any and all questions you have about my involvement in the gang and street fighting and I will answer them fully and honestly. Just please dont walk out on me." He offered as he pressed his lips against her clothes covered abdomen.

Ally resisted the urge to pull her hand away from Brian’s. She honestly couldn’t tell him that she wouldn’t have left him if he had been honest right away. She loved Brian, probably more than even she had realized. It hurt her so badly to know that he had been lying from the beginning of their relationship.

“I know, but there’s no guarantee that something won’t happen Brian,” Ally knew that Brian would go through hell to keep her and their daughter safe, but she also knew that he wasn’t around twenty-four seven. She nodded when he mentioned talking about it after Lexie was in bed, figuring it would be better to discuss it without her little ears around.

She ran a hand through her hair, “Your discharge papers are done, and the doctor told me you were free to go whenever you want...” Truth be told, Ally just wanted to get out of the hospital.

“Ryan, I would never let anything happen to you or Aaron, you know that,” Zacky told her. He knew he had screwed up, but he didn’t want Ryan to just walk away from him. “I want to be fully honest with you now, like I should have been from the beginning.”

He suddenly became more nervous as Ryan moved towards the door. Terrified that she was going to leave and not come back, Zack hesitated before nodding his head slowly, “Okay...take your time...” Watching as the door closed behind her, Zack let his head fall back.

There had been so many times when he could have told her before this, he could have eased her into the whole thing instead of dropping a bomb on her. Things had moved so fast though, their relationship went quickly and the next thing he knew Ryan was announcing that she was pregnant and Zacky was proposing. Their life was moving faster than he had ever imagined and he just couldn’t find the right time to tell her the truth.

Ryan leaned against the door after she walked out of the room. She was upset that Zackyhad lied to her about his profession throughout their whole relationship. Sure, Ryan didnt know what she would have stuck with Zacky if he had told her the truth at the beginning of their relationship. Ryan didnt know what to do because she loves Zacky with all of her heart, but with him taking part of an illegal "business", she was afraid that someone might get angry enough with Zacky to harm her and Aaron.

Sighing softly as she wiped the stray tears that had rolled down her cheek, Ryan got up and walked to the front desk to take care of Zacky's discharge papers. Ryan knew if this had been any other guy she was dating, she would have left him, no questioned asked. However, because Zacky was practically the love of her life, she couldn't make herself leave him right now, but that didnt mean that he was in the clear. After signing the discharge paper and getting the pain medication that the doctor prescribed, Ryan walked back to Zacky's room.

Seeing Zacky talked to their one and a half year old son, like he was never going to see Aaron or Ryan again, made her heart shatter. She never wanted to be a single mother but she wasn't sure if it would be in hers or Aaron's best interest to live in fear of their lives because of her fiance. Sighing softly, Ryan lightly knocked on the door, gathering Zacky's attention.

"I signed your discharge papers and grabbed your prescription, we can go home now. We'll discuss your gang involvement when we get back home and after we put Aaron to bed." Ryan said softly as she went to grab their son from him and began heading out to her car.

Brian sighed, but nodded as he knew what Ally was saying is true. There was no guarantee that Ally and Lexie could get hurt, but that doesn't mean that he wouldn't do anything to prevent harm from coming their way. At the same time, he knew that Ally and Lexie were safe because the gang's enemies didnt know about them, not where he sleeps. However, he knew that he would have to explain the whole situation to his fiance, because he owed her that much.

Sighing in relief that Ally agreed to give him the chance to explain and that they could leave, Brian slowly got up from the hospital bed, making sure he was stable enough to walk. He smiled at his little girl, when Lexie held his large hand in her little one, which gave him more strength to walk to the car. Once they made it to Ally's car in the parking lot, Brian helped make sure that Lexie was secured safely in her carseat before sitting in the front passenger seat.

Although the radio was playing softly in the background, the drive back home was silent and it sit well with Brian. He glanced slightly towards the back to see that his little girl was sleeping and then looked at Ally, who had her attention only on the road. Sighing softly, Brian spoke just above a whisper, loud enough so that she could hear him but quiet enough to not wake up Lexie.

"You know I love you and I love our little girl, right? I know I messed up, but I would never intentionally put you two in danger." He said softly, still keeping his eyes on his fiance.

Ally watched Brian as he got out of the bed and she decided to let Lexie walk with Brian. As she followed them through the hospital and out the door, Ally couldn’t help smiling at the sight of Lexie holding on to her fathers hand.

Once they reached the car, Brian put Lexie in her car seat and buckled her in. Ally climbed in the driver’s seat and waited for Brian to get in. She started the car and pulled out of the parking lot, starting their drive home. Truth be told, Ally didn’t want to start talking to Brian until they were home.

Hearing Brian sigh and start to speak, Ally glanced over at him for a moment before looking back to the road. She took a breath before responding, “I know you do, and we love you too. I just don’t know how to react to all of this.” She was relieved when they pulled into their driveway.

Ally parked the car and shut it off before going around and getting Lexie out. She unlocked the door and carried Lexie up the stairs to her room. Once she was in bed, Ally kissed her forehead before walking back down stairs. Seeing Brian in the living room, Ally sat down on the couch.

Zacky was relieved when Ryan came back in. He let Ryan take Aaron and got out of the hospital bed, just thankful that he was going to be able to go home and not spend the night in the hospital.

As they walked out to the car, Zacky was trying to think of the best possible way he could explain everything to her. Once Aaron was in his car seat, Zack got in the passenger seat and waited for Ryan. He knew she wouldn’t want to talk until they were at home.

Zacky looked over at Ryan as she drove, he knew lying to her was the biggest mistake he had made, and now he had to fix it. As they pulled into the driveway, he got out and went to unlock the door. He didn’t want to chance carrying Aaron and end up falling because of his injuries.

Ryan parked the car in the driveway next to one of Zacky's vehicles before turning it off. She quickly grabbed their sleeping son before juggling the keys to unlock the door. "I'm putting Aaron to bed, I made you a plate, it's in the fridge." She said softly before heading up the stairs.

Fifteen minutes later, Ryan walked into the kitchen smiling softly as she watched Zacky eating his dinner. However her smile faltered as she saw the blood stains on his clothes. Sighing, she grabbed a mug and made herself some tea, before sitting down next to Zacky. "I love you Zacky, I really do but I'm hurt that you had lied to me for so long." She said and then rest her hands on his bicep. "We have a son together, and I need to know that not only I'm safe but that our son is also. You need to tell me everything about this gang and fighting that you do and what not so I can protect our son if anything gets out of hand like tonight." She sighed and took a sip of her tea.

Brian watched Ally take Lexie upstairs to get her ready for bed. He slowly made his way to the living room and sat down on the couch, waiting for his fiance to come back down. He sighed as he thought about what could happen when tells Ally about the whole gang and street fighting business he does. He had a feeling that she may stay but he was still afraid that she would leave him and take their daughter with her. He meant it when he told her that she was his one and only, and he wouldn't know what to do if she left.

Hearing footsteps coming down the stairs, he smiled softly when Ally walked into the living room in a silk robe, which he knew that she was wearing silk gown underneath it. She told him that Lexie was asleep and she sat down in the couch next to him. Brian nodded and reached out to hold her hands in his. "I love you, Ally, and I'm sorry that I had lied to you for as long as I did. But I'm ready to be completely honest with you and I hope that with all I'm about to tell you, that you wont leave me, but I understand if you dont." He said before explaining everything to her truthfully.

Ally held her robe around her as she sat on the couch. “Lexie’s sleeping.” She was trying to prepare herself for whatever Brian was going to tell her. He had managed to keep them separate from his gang life for so long, but now Ally wanted to know what she would need to do to keep Lexie safe.

“The last thing I want to do is leave you, I want Lexie to have both of us. I just, I need to know what I can do when situations like this come up,” Ally told him. She bit her lip gently, “I can’t be in the dark, we’ve been lucky this long, but what if something worse had happened? I need to be able to keep Lexie protected and I can’t do that if I don’t know what threats are out there.”

Zacky looked over at Ryan once she sat down, “The last thing I wanted was to lie to you, but it seemed like every time I was going to say something we had something else happen...” He shook his head slightly, “And that’s a horrible excuse, but I don’t want you to leave me.”

He took a breath before continuing, “I love you and Aaron more than anything else in the world. I’ll tell you everything you want to know.” He put his hand over hers and proceeded to tell her everything. “...The street fighting thing is new to me, I hardly do it, I’m a last resort. It’s usually Brian or Matt.” Zacky sighed.

Ryan's heart sank when Zacky thought she was going to leave him, but she listened to him explain everything. "I love you too Zacky, more than anything. And our son loves you too. It was never my intentions to leave you, we have so much history together. I just want to know what I can do to protect myself and Aaron just incase a situation like this were or worse to happen again." She said and then brought her hands to his cheeks as she cupped them gently. A tear had rolled down her cheek. "I also dont want to lose you either, that's what scares me the most about you being involved in a gang. I dont know what I would do if I lost you, Zacky." Ryan let out a soft sob escape her lips as more tears began to flow. "Seeing you in the hospital and now knowing that gang and street fighting caused this, I'm scared that the next time the hospital calls me that I find out that you're killed." She admitted and continued to cry.

"Yes I have been super lucky to have been able to not involve you in the gang life and now that we have a daughter, I have been extra lucky. This was the first time it has gotten as bad as it did tonight, but you are right. I cant keep you in the dark anymore and yours and Lexie's safety is more important." Brian said as he held Ally's hands in his. "I dont know if things are being stirred up between us and the rival gang, but if they are. I really need you to keep a low profile for you and lexie. If someone comes over to the house, do not answer the door unless it's one of the guys and their girls. I'll have a top notch security system set up tomorrow just in case. I also have escape plan that I will show you as well." He explained as he knew he should prepare her if a gang war were to begin with his rival gang.

Ally looked at Brian as he spoke, “I’ll keep a low profile and keep an extra eye on Lexie. I think the security system would be a good idea, it would make me feel better.” She nodded when he mentioned an escape plan, “I’m glad you’ve put some thought into all of this.” Knowing that Brian had plans in place for their safety and to keep Lexie out of harms way. “I’m just scared, I’m scared that something could happen to Lexie or you, I don’t want to lose you, Brian,” Ally told him.

“Right now, I need you to lay low with Aaron. If anyone you don’t know comes to the door, don’t answer. I’ve got a security company coming tomorrow morning to update the system,” Zacky told her. He didn’t want to scare her, but she needed to know, “I don’t know what’s going on with this rival gang so I want you to be extra alert anytime you’re out in public.” He hated seeing Ryan so upset, “I have a few emergency plans set up that I want to show you too.”

Ryan nodded and wiped her eyes so that no more tears would fall. "We'll keep a low profile from now on. Good call on the security system, I would feel much safer with it, especially when I'm home by myself with Aaron." She said and leaned in to kiss Zacky's cheek. "I'm not going to make you choose between your family and the gang, but I dont like the idea of you fighting." Ryan sighed softly, "If you continue with the fighting, just be careful and think about your family." She said and kissed his cheek once more. "I'm going to head to bed, but I love you Zacky and I'm glad that you are safe."

Brian's face softened at Ally's last comment. He knew very well that he could be killed at any moment once he leaves the house. Brian had been super lucky to have not gotten himself killed so far, he needed his luck even more because he has a fiance and a daughter at home who depend on him. "I know you're scared my love, I know that something can very well happen to me. But I promise you, that I will be more safer and lay low so that I can come back home to my family safely." He folder, bringing Ally close and kissing her. "Go get some sleep doll, I'll join you shortly once I finish cleaning up."

Ally relaxed as Brian brought her close and kissed her, “Okay, don’t take too long though.” She gave him a small smile before getting up and making her way to the stairs. Before she went to their bedroom, Ally decided to peek in at Lexie. Seeing their daughter sound asleep made Ally feel a little more at ease. Walking to the bedroom, Ally took off her robe and placed it on the hook of her closet before crawling into bed and pulling the covers over her.

“I’m going to do my best to lay low too, I don’t want any unnecessary attention drawn to us,” Zacky told her. He would do anything he could to avoid being put in this situation again. Zacky pulled her close for a moment and kissed her softly, “I’ll figure it out, and do everything I can to stay safe and keep you and Aaron safe, I love you both.” When she mentioned going to bed, Zacky nodded, “Alright, I’m going to get cleaned up and then I’ll come to bed.”

Ryan smiled into the kiss before they pulled away. "The doctors didnt ban you from sex did he?" She asked him as she looked that his injured leg. When he answered no, she just nodded with a small smile. "Good. Well I'm heading up, dont take too long." She kissed his cheek and gave him a wink before going upstairs. Before going to their bedroom, Ryan went to Aaron's bedroom to check on him. She smiled warmly, seeing that her baby boy was sleeping peacefully. Walking towards his crib, she leaned down and left a soft kiss on the top of his head and then turned on the baby monitor before leaving to go to her room. She took off her silk robe, leaving her just in a camisole and lace panties. She pulled the covers back before climbing in the bed and then brought them up to her waist as she waited for Zacky to come in.

Brian smirked and left a few kisses down her neck before letting Ally go upstairs. He began to clean up his dishes and put the food away in the fridge. He was glad that things between him and Ally are going to be okay. He didn't know what would have happened if things weren't. After cleaning up, he quietly walked up the steps to their bedroom without waking up Lexie. When he arrived to the room, a smirk couldn't help but pull onto his lips as he saw his beautiful fiance in the bed sleeping peacefully. He kicked off his shoes and got rid of his shirt and pants before climbing onto the bed. He hovered over Ally's body and dipped his head down to kiss her lips softly. "God you are so beautiful" whispered against her mouth before moving his head down to her neck as he began to lick, suck, and nip at the exposed skin.

Ally had relaxed into the bed and fallen into a light sleep when Brian came into their room. Hearing him speak, Ally couldn’t help smiling softly. Feeling his lips against her neck, a soft moan escaped Ally’s lips. “Brian,” she said softly, tilting her head to the side to give him more access.

Zacky couldn’t help grinning when Ryan mentioned sex. He watched her walk up the stairs before cleaning up the living room a little. A few minutes later, he walked up the stairs and made his way to their room. A smile crossed his lips as he saw Ryan in their bed. Zacky took his pants and shirt off before climbing into bed next to her. He reached over and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close to him as he kissed her.
