Love Ain’t Simple||

Emily said bye to Kylie before turning her attention to Craig who esd noe speaking to her again. She sighed softly figuring she should be nice, “it’s fine don’t worry about it, you weren’t bothering me.” She went back to finish her food and thanked Hazel for offering to walk with her to their next class.

Daniel was looking over the attendance and waited for his little blonde beauty to show up. He sat down and finished eating his ham and cheese sandwich, along with an apple and his water. Daniel looked up “ I did, how are you miss Harmon? Behaving well are you?” He asked teasingly.

Hazel walked with Emily after lunch. Craig followed them since they all had the same class. He stood there listening to Manny finish up their little plan for their evening date. He quickly kissed Manny, letting her go off to her class.

“Did Kylie say she was skipping this class?” Craig asked.

“I don’t know. I just offered to take Emily to our next class since we all have this class together. So I’m assuming she’ll be here. Little Miss Degrassi wouldn’t miss a class, she has a reputation.” Hazel teased about her best friend.

Kylie giggled as she locked his office door. “I am doing great. Much better now.” She said as she walked over to his desk now. “Mr. Raditch I am always on my best behavior.” She winked. Putting her things on a chair in front his desk, Kylie moved over behind him, placing her hands on his shoulders. She gently massaged his shoulders, playing with his tie a little.

“What would you like me to do today Sir?” She whispered as she leaned down and kissed his softly on the lips. “By the way, I don’t know if I have said this, but I really like the beard.” She winked and giggled as she allowed Dan to pull her into his lap.

Emily wasn’t really paying attention to what they were saying she just made her way to her class. She took a seat next to Hazel and Craig, “so I take t Kylie is very popular with everyone ?”

Daniel chuckled and kissed Kylie softly, “you’re something else you know that?” Daniel watched the way Kylie’s body moved he shook his head he couldn’t have those thoughts during school hours. It was hard not to with a beautiful woman in front of him.

“Do whatever pleases you” he winked watching Kylie walk around, “you’re going to be late for class..”he told her pulling her close, “you sure you can come over later tonight?”

Hazel and Craig looked between the two of them then looked to Emily. "Well, Kylie is pretty popular with everyone, but DEFINITELY the Miss Goodie Two-Shoes of this school." Hazel said with a small smile. "I don't know why, but since last year, Mr. Raditch had been eased up a little bit on us. He's even given our Senior Class a little extra funding this year to do more as a class." She said. "And we have our Little Miss Degrassi to thank for that." Craig piped in. "So I guess to answer your question more clearly, Kylie is very popular with everyone since she's our Miss Goodie-Goodie."

Kylie smiled as she sat down on his lap, her hands gently tugging on his tie. "I know I'm gong to be late for class, but I'm sure that I can get a late pass or an excused absence from a certain good-looking principal." She winked, undoing hie tie. "And I know I'm something else, which is why you're having a hard time letting me go, huh?" A small giggle escaped her lips as his dark blue tie came off and dropped onto his desk. "You know we could start something now and continue later tonight when I come over." She winked.

Emily looked between Craig and Hazel, wondering why they’d call her that. It didn’t sit well with Emily but she didn’t say anything about it. “I see, sounds to me like you should be thank her..” she chuckled. She stared at her chemistry book and searched through some homework assignments.

Daniel stared At the beautiful blonde as he grabbed a piece of paper and wrote some excuse for her and signing it. “Miss Harmon we cant possibly do anything during school hours, how about we wait until., later tonight?” He asked with a smirk.

Hazel and Craig nodded, “Yeah you’re probably right. We should probably thank her.” He laughed a little. He then pulled out a pen, looking over the assignment that was in his binder. “So Emily would you like to hang with us after school today?”

Kylie fake pouted a little when Dan suggested that they wait till later. She knew that he was right, but it was secretly killing her. Over the summer, it was wonderful because of all the time they got to spend together. She took the late pass for him and smiled. “Thank you Sir.” She said before kissing him.

She then walked out of his office, leaving a cute little note on his desk. She then walked to the class, smiling as she walked into the classroom. Handing the teacher the note, she sat down.

“Hi Emily.” She smiled with a smile. “How was the rest of lunch?”

Emily thought about it for a moment, “yeah sure,” she needed to learn to make new friends. As she sat and listened to the teacher lecture Emily looked up when Kylie walked in and said hi. “Hey, it was fine” she shrugged .

Daniel watched the young woman leave his office and he groaned after she left. He needed to cool down, that blonde excited him just with rhe batting of her eyes. Everything had went well the rest of the day and he was ready to go home.

He grabbed his suitcase and papers he had to go over walking to his car and messages the young blonde. “I’ll see you tonight, I hope.”

Later that day, after school the group gathered together to meet up and go to their hangout place.

Craig was one of the first people to meet there. He smiled as he saw Emily and Kylie walking up to the group.

“Hey Kylie, Emily.” He said with a sweet smile “You guys ready?”

Kylie was walking with Emily when she heard her phone go off. Pulling out her phone, she smiled brightly when she saw a text from Dan. ‘Of course. I can stay tonight too.’ She replied back.

She then looked to Emily. “How did you like your first day?”

Emily nodded to the guys and followed Kylie taking a seat next to her “it was fine I guess she told her. Emily looked over at the group “so what you guys do for fun?” She’s asked.

Emily wondered about Kylie’s relationship with the principal it wasn’t pretty obvious to her but she wasn’t sure if anyone else notice so she wasn’t going to put Kylie on the spot.

Craig looked to Emily and smiled, seeing her interest in knowing what they did for fun. "Well it varies." He said as they all started to pile into the cars. "We like to go to The Dot, a cool little joint down the road from the school." He said.

Kylie smiled when Emily said it was fine. "Well I hope you truly feel welcomed here at Degrassi." She then looked to her phone, looking to see what time it was. She wasn't going to stay too long at The Dot, considering that she was meeting Dan at his place.

Quickly opening her text messages, Kylie wrote to Dan once more. 'What are we going to do for dinner? And what time would you like me to come over?'

Emily nodded, “so you just hang out here every day?” She asked walking into this little Dor place. “I like the vibe very cool” she nodded. She looked over the menu and wondered if she should order something. “What do you guys recommend?”

Daniel was getting settled and reading some emails when he heard his phone ding. He looked over the message and smirked “was thinking about making pasta if you want to come over now?”

“Not every day, but at least a couple times a week.” Craig explained as he looked to them. “Emily I assumed that you’ll probably want to ride with Kylie and Hazel. But if you change your mind, you are more than welcomed to ride with us from The Dot. I just got a slightly full carload right now because Ashley and Jimmy are going to meet us there.”

Kylie read the text and bit her bottom lip. She loved the idea of going over now. ‘Well let me go to The Dot for a little and then I’ll come over.’ She replied before looking to the group. “You guys ready?” She asked. “Emily you can ride with me.” She smiled as she side into her Jeep.

Emily got in the back seat, wondering what they were going to do. Now she was curious as to why she even said okay in the first place. She bit her lip, looking out the window. Maybe coming up here was a mistake but she didn’t have much or a choice.

Daniel frowned he wanted her now but he shrugged it off by not replying. He went back to cooking and making a meal for himself. He sat down to eat by himself getting annoyed. “It’s okay. I’ll see you in the morning I’m going to bed early.”

Kylie bit her lip when she didn't get a text back from Dan. When they got to The Dot, a nice little hang out place that had coffee, smoothies, etc. She walked in with everyone and smiled, "Guess, I am sorry to do this, but I need to go. I forgot I had something planned after school. I'll see you in the morning guys."

Craig arched an eyebrow when Kylie said that she had to go and they had just got there. "Alright see you tomorrow then." He said to the young blonde.

"What? Kylie you just got here." Hazel whined. "I know, but we're always hanging out. It's okay that I miss one time." She laughed lightly. She looked to everyone. "As Mom of the Group, I trust you all can be well behaved." She teased before leaving. "Bye guys."

Once Kylie was gone, Craig looked to Emily. "So, Emily, what would you like to tell us about you? If you don't mind sharing anything that is." He noted as he looked to the girl. He really wasn't trying to come across as a creep, just trying to be a friendly person.

Kylie got back into her White Jeep, driving over to Dan's house. She had a feeling that she would be staying over that night, so she had already packed a bag to stay. When she arrived to his house, Kylie took a deep breath, hoping that things would be okay. Going to the front door, the young blonde gently knocked on the door and waited.

Emily looked at Kylie with a confused face and nodded, “all right I’ll see you tomorrow.” She told her. It was very strange behavior it seemed like she was in a hurry to leave and Emily wondered if it had anything to do with that principal or anything? She shook her head.

Looking up from the menu Emily turned to Craig blinking, she didn’t want to share any details of her life with people she just met. She knew that’s how you make friends she just thought it was weird since his girlfriend was right next to him. “There’s not much to say. I’m. Pretty boring.”

Daniel finished eating and decided to clean up and get ready for bed it was early but it wasn’t like he. Had any plans. As finished the clean up he heard a knock on his door. He sighed and walked over opening it, “I didn’t think you were going to show up.. what’s that bag for?” He asked raising an eyebrow.

He was certainly not in a mood anymore but he let her in anyway, “what is miss Harmon? Shouldn’t you be with your friends? Or at home doing home work?”

Craig nodded, "Alright...well I bet you're not boring like you think you are." He smiled and then looked to Manny, who was still trying to figure out what to get.

'So, Emily, is there any particular clubs or extracurricular activities that you're wanting to do?" Manny than asked.

Kylie frowned seeing him in a slightly bad mood. "Dan, I'm really sorry." She said softly. "It wasn't that I didn't plan on showing up, I was just going to be running a little late."

She had never seen him like this before, and it was a little upsetting. "You know what, I'll just leave." She said as she headed towards the door, tears in her eyes.

Emily looked through the menu, she was not about to open up to these people. So she could make friends and move again? Nope. “There’s not much I can say.”

She looked at Manny and shrugged, “not really, I’m still thinking it over. What clubs are you guys in?” She mostly asked to know which ones to avoid.

Daniel shook his head, “You didn’t tell me you were going to Be late I made dinner which by the way was good and you missed it.”

Daniel sighed and pulled her back in “stop crying and get in here, you know I can’t stay mad at you.”

"Well Hazel and I are in the spirit squad." Manny said with a smile. "Along with Paige." She quickly added.

"The best person to ask about clubs would be Kylie." Craig nodded as he flagged the waitress down to place his and Manny's orders.

Kylie smiled a little when he pulled her back into the house. It was true that she knew that Dan couldn't say mad at her. Looking up to him, she leaned in and kissed him.

"Do you think I could talk the amazing Mr. Raditch into making some of his delicious dinner? Miss Harmon is pretty hungry."

Emily listened as they all talked, Emily wasn’t much of a cheerleader so that was out of the question. She thought for a moment, “I did ask her about it but she seemed distracted..” Emily went back to then menu and placed an order once then waitress came over.

Daniel shook his head wiping the tears from Kylie’s face “you’re lucky I saved you some in case you did show up.” He grinned.

"Yeah, she did seem a little distracted today. She's usually like that on the first day of school though...distracted." Craig piped in. Manny nodded, thinking more about clubs that Emily could join. "What about Student Council?" She then asked.

Kylie smiled and kissed him as he wiped the tears from her face. "Thank you babe." She said. She then walked towards the kitchen, putting her overnight bag on the couch. She looked over at Dan's house, smiling.
