This place was weird, it didn't feel anything like home. She hated it, Rae hated it with a burning passion. Her brother, Caspian didn't even come to their parents funeral. He just paid for it and sent her a letter with his regards that he had to miss it, saying something about being busy with work. He couldn't even get her freaking phone number to call or text her! He sent a freaking letter! Ugh, Caspian was such an idiot!

Laying curled up on her new bed, Rae held onto the small stuffed zebra that her father. their father, got for her the first time she went to the zoo. The animal was her favorite, it looked so pretty, all black and white. Blending in with each other when they stood close. They seemed like a close family, unlike her own. The large age gap between Raelynn and Caspian caused the two to have never been close, he was already an adult when she was born. He had no time for a baby sibling to tag along with him.

Closing her eyes tightly, Raw hugged the stuffed animal a little tighter before she let out a loud sigh escape from her and let her stuffed animal go. Then, she sat up and slid off of her bed. Fixing her gym shorts as she headed out of the room and bound down the stairs. She couldn't stand another moment being in this house, with him living in it.

Rae wasn't paying attention to where she was going as she turned a corner as she got down the stairs. Bumping into a rather rough chest and stumbling back a few steps. "Shit." She mumbled, raising a hand to rub her forehead as she looked up to see who or what she had walked into an accident. Her body freezing as she spotted her brother. Then, she couldn't help but to let out a little humph as she turned her back to him, not wanting to apologize to him.

Caspian had wanted absolutely nothing to do with his father. As far as he was concerned, the man was a piece of worthless human junk. When Caspian had been a young child, his father had been an abusive alcoholic and his mother had done her very best to protect Caspain from the brunt of her husband's anger. But she couldn't always be everywhere at once. There were nights in his childhood that he would never talk about, to anyone What was there to say? That the man who was supposed to protect him from the world had beaten him because he'd spilled his glass of milk or gotten crumbs on the coffee table?

When Caspian was 12, he remembered his mother not picking him up from soccer practice. He remembered waiting with the coach until it was nearly dark, when a cop car pulled up and an officer stepped out to take Caspian home. His mother had died on a car accident on her way to the grocery store, after having dropped him off.

His father changed after that, he became a 'born again' man. THe older man tried to mend his relationship with his son but the damage had been done, there was no fixing it at this point. That was the whole reason that he never went down to his father's funeral. Why would he go to the funeral for a man that he resented? There was no reason to, in Caspian's eyes.

Caspian had agreed the moment authorities contacted him, asking if he would take Raelynn into his home. It was strange to think about but he was going to have a teenager in his home but he wasn't about to let her go into the foster system. He had heard horror stories and as close as they weren't, Caspian wouldn't be able to live with himself if he let something bad happen to her.

She had only been here for a few days and already, Caspian couldn't help but feel like the space between them was continuing to grow. And he had no idea how he was supposed to fix that.

It was Caspian's day off so he'd managed to sleep in, only having woken up less than an hour ago. He managed to make his way downstairs and make a cup of coffee which he was planning to take upstairs. Until someone pumped into him. He hissed as the liquid splashed onto his naked chest.

Caspian couldn't help but roll his eyes, reaching out with his free hand to grab her arm. "Where the hell do you think you're going?" Caspian demanded, his eyes narrowing. "It's my first day off since you got here. Guess what, it's about damn time for some sibling bonding time. Don't you think?"

Her whole body froze as Rae felt Caspian's rough hand wrap around her arm. She could feel the feeling of unease as it built, making her more uncomfortable around him than she already was. Her blue eyes that matched her mothers looked towards the older man as he asked her questions.

"The backyard, it's too stuffy in my room." She answered, her voice quiet as she tried to look anywhere but at his good tones chest or his face. Rae would be lying if she didn't agree that her brother got lucky with some good genes from the family. Although, she was sure he probably put in a lot of effort to look this good as well.

"What are we going to do?" Rae asked as she finally mustered up enough courage to look up into his eyes. Hers narrowing challengingly. "You going to tell me your whole life story as I sit quietly? No thank you." She said as she turned her head away from his direction and tried to yank her arm free of his grasp. "Let me go, please." She added the first nice thing she's said to him since they met three days ago.

They may be partly related, by sharing a father, but Rae had little to no memories of ever spending time with Cas. He was a stranger to her, and strangers made her really uncomfortable.
The idea of living with someone she had no idea who was had kept her up for the past few nights. When her aunt Mel told her that her brother had accepted the request to take her in, she cried. He wasn't a brother, not even close. He was just a stranger who was supposedly related to her by blood.

"If you're going to pull the brotherly act, can you do so outside." Rae caved, her body relaxing as she looked tiredly at Caspian. Her gaze looking back towards his eyes so that he could see the dark purple bags that were developing from her not being able to sleep very well.

Caspian dropped his grip on Raelynn's arm the moment that he watched her tense, not wanting to make her any more uncomfortable than he was sure he already was. He wasn't keen on this whole agreeing to take Rae in but he hadn't wanted her to go into the foster care system so he felt as if he didn't have a choice in the matter. Had he thought there was any other option, he likely would have taken it. He'd only met Raelynn when she was born and shortly after that, he had left the family home because he didn't want to be around his father raising another child. His father was good, had been good for years. But Caspian carried far too much resentment for him to ever be able to let his father into his life.

Rolling his eyes at Raelynn's comment, Caspian gave a light shake of his head. "No. I wouldn't do that to you," he said, his voice taking on a hard edge. As far as he knew, Raelynn adored their father. He didn't want to destroy the picture she had of them, because his was so different. He felt like hse had the right to know, sure, but he couldn't bring himself to say a damn thing. She was obviously still hurting, he didn't want to be the one that added to that.

A frown grew on Caspian's features as Raelynn looked up at him. He couldn't help but notice the way bags had grown beneath her eyes. She was obviously exhausted, from lack of sleeping. Pursing his lips, Cas nodded toward the back yard before disappearing into the kitchen to grab something else to drink.

He leaned into the fridge, grabbing two bottles before he headed out to the back yard. Caspian had already opened the bottles, offering one out to Raelynn with a small smirk. "Cider. It'll help you relax and it's easy to start out drinking with," he offered. Caspian couldn't yell at Rae for drinking at sixteen because he'd had his first drink at fourteen. He wasn't about to be a hypocrite over something that he considered so small.

"So long as you promise not to tell anyone I gave it to you," Caspian said, tilting the bottle back in his direction.

As soon as she got the okay from Caspian, Rae headed out the door to the backyard. The fresh air really helped to wash away her anxiety that she felt when she was inside the house that she had moved into. The breeze lightly tossing her hair back as it blew around her and sent a small shiver to roll along her spine.

Rae moved towards the lawn chairs that Cas had on his beautiful dark wood porch. Her legs coming up and crossing in a pretzel fashion as she sat and leaned back on the chairs. Her bright blue eyes looked out over the little pond that he owned. Thinking that the scene in front of her was quite cute to look at. Very, relaxing to watch the plants float around the top of the water and swish a little bit at the breeze blew them about a little bit.

Glancing up, Rae couldn't help but give Caspian a confused look as he handed her a drink. Nervously, she took it and looked at the label. Strongbow, she heard of this stuff before but hadn't tried it as it was alcoholic and her dad didn't want her anywhere near it.

"Um," Rae said quietly as she glanced up at Caspian a little confused. "Thank you?" She added as she looked back towards the drink. Slowly, she raised the bottle to her lips and took a small sip. Her eyes glancing towards Cas as she heard his last few words. As the liquid touched her tongue for the first time, a surprised look appeared on her face as she swallowed and lowered the bottle. "Oh, this is good." She said, her tone really showing her surprise at what she was tasting.

All her life, Rae's father had told her how bad alcohol tasted and that it wasn't something she'd ever enjoy. The boy was he wrong, because if all alcohol tasted this sweet, then Rae wouldn't mind having a few drinks every now and again.
An like a noob to drinking, Rae took a few more quick sips. Not letting her body get used to the depressant drink that was made to help people relax and everything came rushing on at once as her head started to slowly spin and her body started to grow warm.

"Do all drinks taste this good?" Rae asked as she looked up towards Caspian. Her cheeks a little pink as she realized how cute he looked when he wasn't wearing a shirt. Her bottom lip slowly slipped into her mouth as she nervously bit it. She needed to control herself, she couldn't have that kind of thought about Caspian.

Caspian had been worried that he was going to inherit his father's alcoholism and addictive tendencies but he was thankful that he hadn't. It didn't matter how drink he was, it never really seemed like he needed a drink. After a hard day at work, he might have a few drinks or go out on the weekend with a group of friends but it was never like it had been with his father. It was never a constant, all consuming thing in his life. And he wasn't all that worried about it becoming such a thing for Raelynn because she was still young. If she really wanted to, now was the time for her to get stupid things out of her system. Before she was old enough that too much partying could ruin her life.

Dropping down into a chair beside Raelynn, Caspian couldn't help but laugh at her reaction to the first sip. He had assumed that she'd at least had a few drinks before but he was beginning to understand that this might have been the first drink that she'd ever had. "Hell no. Some drinks taste like shit. Especially if you mix flavours that aren't supposed to go together. Just like cooking," he said with a shrug. It was something he had experience with so he didn't think to give a more detailed explanation.

Reaching over, Caspian pulled the drink from her lips without actually taking the bottle from her. "Careful. If it's your first drink, you're going to end up feeling that a lot faster than you think. And a lot harder," he said with a low chuckle. "Don't want you falling over drunk, the first time you ever drink... do you?"

He'd been there a time or two before. Or maybe more times than he should really ever admit to and he wasn't about to start telling Raelynn about the antics he regularly got up to. Maybe not as often any more but still, Caspian had stories that would probably make her head spin.

"So... what do you like to do?" Caspian asked, wincing at the realization of how little he actually knew about his sister. He turned to face her a bit more than he already had been. "We can find something fun to do on my next day off. So long as it's not a long drive, whatever you want to do. I'm down." He didn't want to leave her alone all the time, he could only imagine what grieving alone would do to her if it happened too much.

A small pout appeared on Rae's face at Caspian's words as he lowered her drink. Her bright gaze moving towards his as she listened to his words of advice. "Doesn't that only happen in the movies?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. Never in her life had Rae seen someone as drunk as that, only in movies. Heck, her father didn't even drink. He had been in recovery since she was born.

The next reaction that Caspian got out of Rae was a snort and a small giggle. "Really? You phrase it like that?" She asked, giggling a little more. "God, you make it feel like I'm interviewing with you." She raised the bottle to her lips and took another sip before she started to speak once more.

"I like to read," Rae confessed, she could be a real nerd sometimes and spend hours reading a book or in a bookstore. "I also really like video games and listening to music, you know. Normal people things." Rae murmured, then shrugged her shoulders as she really had no idea on what else she was supposed to say to the guy who kept himself from her life growing up.

A curious look appeared on Rae's face as Caspian offered for them to go somewhere on his next day off. Rae didn't know it for sure, but she felt like they were getting a little closer. Maybe by like, a centimeter at least. "I want to explore," Rae said, a small smile trying to make its way onto her lips. After the funeral, Rae having to move in with Caspian meant that she'd have to leave all of the things she's known behind, so where she was new was all new.

"I feel like I could use some water," Raelynn mumbled quietly as she set the half drank hard cider on the table and moved to stand up. An like in a movie, her legs felt like jelly and she fell to her knees. "Woah, my legs feel like wet noodles," Rae mumbled again and giggled a little bit. She tried to stand again, but her legs wouldn't have it as they kept giving out. "I think I need a little help," Rae said as she looked up at Caspian and pouted, raising her arms for him to grab her hands and help her up.

Caspian let out a dry laugh, looking away from Rae as a small frown grew on his lips. It seemed like she was far more naive than Caspian would have preferred and he hated that - he hated that their father hadn't even had the decency to explain the problems that alcoholism caused. He wondered if the man had even ever told her why Caspian was so distant. Why he hated the man so much. Why he hadn't even bothered to attend the man's funeral? He doubted it and that just made him hate his father more than he already had.

"No," Caspian answered finally, turning his attention back toward her. "If you're a lightweight, or if you've never drank before... or if you drink on an empty stomach," he said, his face scrunching at the memory of the last time he'd ended up black out drunk. All because he'd been too busy to eat at work and then gone out with his buddies after... of course, he'd eaten at the bar but he was already several drinks in before he even began to think about food.

Caspian's brows rose when he watched Raelynn try to stand several times over. He couldn't help but chuckle, setting his cider down as he moved to stand. It didn't even give him the slightest buzz so he moved with ease, reaching out to help Rae to her feet. His hand slid to her waist to help keep her steady as he led her inside after grabbing her cider. His was all but empty so he didn't bother to grab it.

He settled her at the breakfast bar in the kitchen, a small grin on his lips as he moved to pour her a glass of water. "Do you like pizza? Chinese?" He offered a second option, figuring that he didn't want to limit her. Caspian also wasn't feeling like cooking, he'd rather just relax and drink a bit. Bond with his sister, get to know her so they could have some sort of relationship.

It really shouldn't have surprised her with how easily Caspian helped her up. He had freaking rippling abs, Rae wasn't blind, she could easily tell from the way that he holds himself with them! His arms weren't lacking in any muscle either, Rae didn't really know what her brother did, but she had a feeling that bodybuilding or something had to be a hobby of some kind. Right?

"Thanks." Rae murmured quietly as she placed a hand on his chest as he helped her to steady herself. Her belly quivered at the feeling of his hand on her waist. From the feel of Caspian's hand or because of the liquor, Rae didn't know.

Once in the kitchen and Rae was helped to sit down, a small sigh escaped from her as she crossed her arms over themselves on the countertop and then rested her head on top of them. Her bright blue eyes watching Caspian as he moved about his kitchen with ease to her some water. A small smile appearing on her lips as she listened to his question. "I think you have to be an alien to not like either of those things." She replied, and held one hand out to grab the water if he gave it to her.

"Eggrolls are my favorite from Chinese restaurants though, so expect a hunger strike if I don't get one." Rae offered a small smile, trying to show that she was only joking with him. "What about you?" Slowly, Rae sat up and rested her elbows on the counter, her chin moving to rest in her hands. "You've asked me all these questions about what I like, but you haven't said anything about yourself." Slowly, Raelynn's lips shifted into a small frown. "I'm sorry for being an ass to you. I've never been that mean to someone before."

    {chinese food is liiife! also i'm probably gonna play him as the level headed one.. at least for a bit. if you want me to change that, just lemme know Cute }

"I don't know. Have you ever had shitty pizza from a joint that has no business being open to begin with?" Caspian asked, his face scrunching at the thought. He remembered the days as a teenager where he had had no choice but to eat a dolar slice of the da or hope that he could scrounge up enough change for McDonalds. The days where he had been too prideful to call his father for help because he'd be damned if he ever turned into the person that his father had always told him he would.

As a young child, Caspian remembered his father yelling and screaming and slapping him around. All Caspian could remember how defenseless and useless he'd felt. How afraid he'd been, how sure he was that he would end up homeless and begging on the streets because he wasn't even man enough to put a house over his head; food in his stomach; clothes on his body.

But Caspian had proven his father wrong and that was something that he would always be proud of. To know that he was everything that his father had told him he never would be.

"I'll grab a whole damn case of egg rolls. I don't care," Caspian said with a laugh, sitting on the stool opposite of Raelynn. "My favourite is szechaun chicken. I love spicy food. Always have," he said, his eyes scanning over the menu as if it would make him order anything else. "And sweet and sour chicken is basically a requirement. You can't order chinese food and not order it!" He declared, a grin growing on his features.

His smile fell as he was reaching for his phone to call the restaurant when Rae spoke up.

He shrugged his shoulders, refusing to even look at her as he thumbed in the number for the restaurant. "Whatever. It's over with," he muttered as he hit the 'call' button. Caspian only looked up when he finished, tilting his head to the side. "Don't bother apologizing. Just don't do it again."

"I have." Raelynn said quietly as she watched her brother. "Mom and I used to go around to different places to try different hole in the wall foods when dad worked late." She explained. "We've found some good places where you'd think were horrible, and vice versa." Slowly, Rae reached forward and took a few sips of water form the glass that Caspian had given her. Her eyes looking down at the water for a moment as she heard the seat across from her being pushed around as Cas took the seat.

A small smile finally tugged on her lips as she listened to him opening up to her a little bit. It was like they were actual family, not an estranged pair of siblings who haven't spent more then a couple of days together before this, "I've never had szechaun chicken before." Raelynn said as she glanced towards Caspian as she watched him dialing up the number for the restaurant. "Oh! Can we get some wonton soup?"

Silence fell over Rae as she watched Caspian make the order. Her arms folding onto the cool island top as she rested her head on her right arm. Meanwhile her left started to make little designs out as she traced the cool material. "I can't promise anything. I'm a teenager, by default I'm hardwired to get under your skin from time to time and make you want to pull your hair out." Rae mumbled quietly as she shifted her head to look over at her brother once more.

"Can we eat in the living room and watch a movie?" Rae asked, doing her best to give him the puppy dog eyes. She hadn't eaten a meal with Caspian since she got here, so she didn't know if he liked eating anywhere besides the kitchen table. So, she hoped that the acting innocent look would help win him over to one of her favorite things to do. "Please?" She added as an after thought to add to her overly sweet act.

(After my last post, I mentioned Chinese and my dad was like WERE GETTING THAT TONIGHT! XD I'm cool with him being level headed for now, although I imagine him becoming a little darker as time goes on.~)

"The most bland food is always at the most upscale restaurants. It's like if they're high end, they're afraid of using any spices because what if they offend someone?" Caspian said, unable to stop from rolling his eyes. What he said was true - the most upscale restaurants were either the best or the absolute worst because they didn't even seem to know what the hell salt or pepper was.

Caspian wasn't one to eat in the living room. He did his best to keep to that rule because he didn't want the living room to become a mess of stained couches and rugs but he thought this was a bit of a special occasion given everything. Given that it was the first real meal that the siblings had ever shared.

"Fine. This one time," Caspian agreed, holding up a finger as if to signify that he really did mean only this one time. He stood, motioning ofr her to head into the living room. "I don't want us to do this regularly. I don't want to ruin the couches... or the rug. So no eating in here normally," Caspian explained as he dropped down onto the chaise; where he always sat because he liked to put his feet up. He glanced toward Raelynn, raising an eyebrow. "Got it?"

Caspian reached forward, grabbing the remote to toss it in Raelynn's direction. "There. Put something on before the food gets here," he said, nodding toward the television.

(Same, I imagine, he'd start conditioning her though. Get the idea of them doing things together to seem normal. A healthy relationship.)

A nod of agreement was Rae's response to Caspian's answer about the fancy restaurants. It was so true on so many levels. It was insane. Ah, she hoped that now that she was living in a new city and everything, that she could possibly find some new places to try out that not many people heard of. Raelynn late crowds so the less known, the better in her opinion.

Hearing Caspian agree to her little plea, Rae couldn't help the small squeal of excitement as she sat up straight. A giving him one of the cutest grins that she could possibly muster. "Yes!" She exclaimed as she stood up, grabbing her water and practically bounced to the living room to settle down and watch something before they ate. Slowly, Rae turned towards Caspian before she sat down. "Yes, master." She said teasingly, giving a mock curtsey as she lifted the edged of her tank top like it was a dress. Then she set her drink on the coffee table and before sitting on the couch.

Rae wasn't expecting it, so as Cas tossed the remote towards her, she had to juggle it for a moment before actually holding it like a normal person. "Really? You trust me enough to not put a girly movie on?" Raelynn asked, raising a hand to her chest and giving Caspian an amazed look. Before she grinned and turned to the tv. She flicked through a few channels on the large television before a large grin appeared on the young girls face as she stopped changing the channels. "Ah, I love this movie!" Raelynn said as she saw the opening for the first Jurassic Park movie.

"Have you seen it before?" Rae asked as she moved so that she was laying on the couch. Her body shifting sideways as she curled up, her head resting on a pillow as she got comfortable. "I used to make mom and dad watch all of the Jurassic movies with me on my birthdays." She mumbled quietly as her blue eyes focused on the large screen. Slowly becoming more and more entranced in the movie that she forgot she was laying in the living room with a brother that she barely knew.

(Lol. couches and rugs might not be clean for much longer~)

(tehe a lot of things are going to be dirty soon~)

Caspian's gaze darkened for a moment when Raelynn called him 'master'. He turned away from her, swallowing the lump that had suddenly formed in his throat. No. Raelynn was his sister and even if he hadn't seen or spoken to her in years, that didn't make her any less of his sister. Shaking his head, he turned back to her with an unimpressed look on his face. "I trust you enough because I might not know you very well but you are my sister," he answered with a onesided shrug of his shoulders.

Relief washed over him when Raelynn settled on Jurassic Park, relieved that she had picked something that he could enjoy. Caspian smirked as he glanced toward her, nodding his head at her question. "'Course I have," he answered, his body tensing at the mention of his father. His eyes narrowed as he fell silent, crossing his arms. His grip tightened on each arm as he ground his teeth together. Caspian didn't want to ruin the mood that had settled over them. They both seemed to be in a good mood... not angry. Not put off like he felt at the moment.

Caspian stood the moment there was a knock at the door. He rushed forward, not even glancing in Raelynn's direction. An uncomfortable feeling had settled in the pit of his stomach even as he paid for their Chinese food, tipping well. Caspian did his best to put off an easy aura, despite the knot still in his stomach. Biting back a sigh, Caspian started to divy up the food between the two of them.

Looking in the bag, Caspian's face twisted into a frown. He sighed as he stood, glancing toward Raelynn. "They forgot fuckin' soy sauce," he muttered, disappearing into the kitchen to grab the bottle of soy sauce from his fridge. He reappeared with the bottle in his hand and a set of plates for them, so they weren't eating out of the containers.

"Do you want anything else to drink or are you good?" Caspian asked, hovering over his seat.

At the sound of the knock, Rae shifted her head and watched as Caspian practically ran towards the door. Amusement dancing in her eyes as she figured that he must have been really hungry with how fast he moved. Then again, she couldn't really blame the guy, she's seen inside of his fridge, he barely had anything that wasn't a vegetable or liquid protein shakes. Her brother seemed like a health nut. So, this must be a treat for him.

"Smells good," Rae commented as she slowly moved to sit on the floor in front of the coffee table. She hated sitting on couched when she ate, finding the floor more comfortable for some reason. Her legs crossed over each other as she rested her hands in her lap, a small giggle escaping her as she heard her brothers complaint about the soy sauce.

"I think your anger is salty enough," Rae said, trying to make a pun. Which made her laugh, but wasn't sure if it would hit Caspian the right way or not. "Get it? Because annoyance is a strong emotion and so is salts taste." Rae grinned, waiting for a reply from Cas before blushing a little and looking away. Her dorky side is showing, and she wasn't sure how to react to that. They had just reunited after being separated for years. What if he hates it? What if her words make him even more annoyed?

"I''m fine with my water, thank you," Rae mumbled, her tone quiet as she picked up a pair of chopsticks that came with the meals and started to put a little bit of food on her plate. Sticking with a few small bites of everything as her stomach wasn't really hungry. She was too nervous now that she could have possibly angered her brother over her stupid little joke.

"Hey, Cas," Raelynn said quietly after a few moments. Her gaze on the TV for a few more moments as she thought about her question. "If you could open a park with dinosaurs, would you?" She swallowed her food and looked towards her brother, curious about his answer. "I think I'd be too terrified to." Rae's tongue slowly slipped out of her lips and licked up the sauce on her lips. "I mean, don't you think this is too dangerous of an idea to go through with. You're practically playing with peoples lives."

Once Raelynn ate her fill, she slowly moved back onto the couch. Laying on her back this time, with her head propped on the armrest. The bottom of her tank top raising slightly as she breathed in deeply and let out a small yawn. The hard ale she had earlier starting to kick in once more and making her tired.

(As well as a few new life lessons~ Hmm)

Caspian rolled his eyes at Raelynn's comment about his anger. "Rae, hate to break it to you but if you think that's angry, that's not fuckin' anything," he muttered as he made his way into the kitchen. He wouldn't mention who he was talking about because Rae didn't need to know about just how angry their father had been when Caspian was young. He returned with the plates and soy sauce, dropping them on the table before he went back to the kitchen to grab a fresh beer for himself.

He sat down in his chair, dishing up his food until it was practically heaping on his plate. Caspian always could eat his fill of chinese food, there was no denying that. He glanced toward Raelynn when she spoke, raising an eyebrow. "Hell no. I would never!" Caspian answered with a laugh, reaching for his beer to take a sip.

"There's an entire movie series on why that's a bad idea. Even if you'd want to... the monetary profit you end up making, it would be gone," Caspian paused to snap his fingers, "just like that if there was an accident. If a dinosaur escaped and ate someone.. or someone got injured... you'd be fucked. Whatever you would make would be pointless, if you get it all taken away at the drop of a hat."

Caspian propped his feet up on the edge of the table before he settled back, holding his plate up to his chest. He looked toward Raelynn, his eyes dropping to where her tanktop raised, revealing just a bit of her stomach. Caspian swallowed, his eyes lingering for a moment before he looked away from her. Clearing his throat, Caspian sighed as he sat up straight again, setting his beer down on the end table by his chair.

"C'mon. Let's get you up to bed," Caspian said, pushing to his feet. He held a hand out to her, raising an eyebrow when she just looked up to him. "Come on. Let's go. You're practically falling asleep on the couch."

Everything that Caspian made sense. Rae couldn't argue with him, because well, they did make four movies on the subject and the amount of money it probably took to make the whole park was probably more then what she'd ever been able to make otherwise. "I guess you're right." She mumbled quietly, her eyes half closed as she watched the movie.

Only when she heard the shuffling of Caspian moving again did Rae look away from the TV. Her lips slowly moved into a small frown at what he was telling her. "But-" She tried to retaliate but stopped herself as Cas had a point. She was pretty much falling asleep on the couch. "Fine." She mumbled, giving up almost immediately since she could feel herself getting more tired as she laid there on the couch. It was hard not to want to fall asleep on that thing, it was just so comfortable.

Slowly, Rae sat up and rubbed her eyes tiredly before she reached out for her brother's outstretched hand. Her smaller hand fit it almost perfectly. As she stood, Rae leaned into her brother's side as she relaxed against him. "Thanks for the hard cider earlier, that really helped me relax," Rae mumbled, looking up at Cas as he helped her to her bedroom. Although, as they got to her doorway, a small frown slowly started to appear on her lips, and she couldn't help but bite the bottom one nervously.

"Cas," Rae mumbled quietly, looking up at her older brother warily. "Can you stay with me?" She asked, nervously fidgeting as she looked down at her feet before looking back up at him. "A-at least until I fall asleep. I haven't been able to fall asleep very well since everything. I don't like being alone in bed." She murmured. "It's to quiet." It was a childish thing to ask, Rae knew that, but, she couldn't help but hope that he'd agree. At least to the part about staying till she fell asleep.

Caspian stepped over to Raelynn and leaned down, sliding an arm around her waist so that he could help her up. He had a feeling that she was feeling the ale from earlier a bit more than he thought she would so he was going to do his best to take care of her. It was only one drink so he wasn't too concerned about her starting to drink too much or something. He helped her up the stairs, keeping his arm around her waste to keep her steady.

His brows pulled together hearing his nickname. Caspian looked down to Raelynn, his face scrunching a bit as he considered her request. It seemed a bit childish and he didn't really think that he should but then she elaborated and he realized that he could at least give her that. It wasn't like he had to stay all night or something like that. Just until she fell asleep. Which he was sure wasn't going to take too long.

Cas helped raelynn over to the bed before he stepped back, clearing his throat as he scratched the back of his neck. "Should you, uh, get changed? Probably won't be too comfortable sleeping in that all night.." he trailed off, shrugging. It felt like a weird offer but it seemed like Rae was ready to go to sleep without even considering what she was wearing to bed.

As they walked to the bed, Rae felt herself relaxing. She was so ready to just fall onto the bed and fall asleep, and she was planning to do just that when Caspian spoke. She paused in her movements, leaning over the bed to pull her blankets back. Her bright green eyes looking up towards her older brother in confusion before realization hit her. She was in jean shorts, and he had a point.

"Oh, yeah. You're right." She mumbled quietly. Then stood up to head over towards the dresser that she had put some of her clothes into. "C-can you uh, turn around? Or something?" She asked, her cheeks a little pink as she blushed in embarrassment about having to change in the same room as Caspian.

Once Caspian listened to her little request, she slowly started to undress. Not realizing that if he peaked up into the ensuite bathroom, that he could see her changing in the mirror. Rae slipped her jean shorts off, revealing her pink panties with lace on top, then took her tank top and bra off, allowing for her breasts to bounce free from its restraint. Rae couldn't help the small sigh that escaped from her lips as she turned towards her dresser again and pulled out the short and loose t-shirt that she planned to wear.

The pj's that Rae had picked out were some of her favorites. She loved animals, and the puppy was just the cutest thing ever in her mind. Stepping into the soft shorts, Rae wiggled her hips a little bit as the soft fabric slid onto her thin waist. Then, she pulled on the loose t-shirt. It covered her breasts enough to where her nipples were hidden, but if her shirt was tugged, you'd be able to clearly see them, as well as her breasts, being pretty visible if she rolled to the side because of how loose the shirt was.

"Alright," Rae said tiredly as she tossed her clothes into her hamper and turned back towards Caspian. "I think I'll be more comfortable now." She murmured as she walked back towards the bed and sat down on the edge of it. A tired yawn escaping from her before she raised her arms up in a stretch, not meaning to allow for him to see her nipples pressing against the thin fabric for a moment before she lowered her arms again.
