Xavier Peter Sanchez
A light snow fall had come down during the night. Xavier had noticed it, he was awake already. More to the point, he was still awake. He was dreading the next day, another day at school. He had had a rough time last year, and was expecting the same again.
The warm waters of his shower, woke him up a bit more, before he pulled on some dark jeans, and t-shirt and hoodie. He also dressed down, hoping that maybe, he wouldn't be noticed at all. He pulled on some shoes, before heading out of his house to head to school.
The air was cold, and the walk a miserable one. Much of the footpath hadn't been cleared of snow, so Xavier's shoes and socks, were well and truly soaked, before he even made it to the school grounds. He headed straight for the library hoping for some solace from the cold.
Xavier noticed one of the students, who had picked on him last year. He was sitting inside the library, just by the doors. Xavier thought better of getting near him, and decided that possibly the best option was to head towards his classroom, Ms Walsh's was supposed to be his teacher this year. Hopefully she'd let him stay in the classroom in the mornings, unlike his teacher from the previous year.
Mr Wayne Oliver Kilburn
A pattering of snow covered the grass, the early morning sun peaking above the buildings of the urban landscape. Traffic was minimal, and the sidewalks bare at this time of morning. It was too early for anyone to be out and about yet.
Mr Kilburn had just woken up, and was looking out his window, at the recent snow fall. He knew today would be hectic, having to wrangle a whole class of new students, as well as hopefully get some work done. He was both excited and terrified for himself. He straightened his tie, as he prepared to head out into the cold.
Wayne made his way outside to his car, before heading off towards the school. He hoped that he wouldn't get held up. He made it to work on time, and pulled into the park that had been designated for him. He picked up his satchel bag, and wondered towards his classroom.
As the school bell rang Mr Kilburn was expecting most of the students to take awhile before getting to their classes. He had written his name up on the white board, and was currently sitting at his desk paging through the newspaper.
