Jessie nodded. "Okay." she said and followed them out to the car getting in and buckling up. She looked over at Viktor sat next to her and did her best to not reach out to him which mostly consisted of her sitting on her hands as Maxwell started driving.

Jessie nodded. They drove for a while before Maxwell said they where there. "And where is here exactly?" she asked.

Maxwell smiled and climbed out of the car, "this is what happens when the human world learns of vampires," he said calmly. Viktor climbed out of the car and offered her his hand.

Jessie took his hand and slipped out of the car with him looking around the cemetery. "I don't understand." she said looking at Maxwell. "What are you saying?" she asked her mind coming up with all kinds of scenarios.

Maxwell looked over at her, "see all these graves," he said softly walking through the huge cemetery. He lead her around the place, "all of them are humans, all killed by vampires in a single night," he said. He led her to a mausoleum, "and this is where the two vampires they managed to bring down are kept," he said. He opened the door, showing her multiple boxes chained against the walls. The boxes started rattling, "they can smell you," he said calmly.

Jessie looked around. "Why? Why did the vampires kill them all?" she asked her heart hurting. She walked with hi to the mausoleum. When the door opened and they stepped in she gasped stepping into Viktor as the boxes started to shake. She looked over at Maxwell as he spoke. "They killed all of them for fun." she said talking about the humans. And the vampires are kept here? Why weren't they just killed? If they caused so much trouble?" she asked cautious but feeling safer with Viktor's hand on her arm.

Viktor looked at Maxwell, "they tried to kill the vampires, and they fought back," he said softly. He pulled her close, "we aren't that easy to kill, for humans," he said softly. He looked at Maxwell, "Plus, they are being punished for the massacre," he said.

Jessie looked up at Viktor. "Humans put them in there?" she asked. She leaned into him frowning as she thought about what it would be like as a new vampire full of blood lust. She bit her lip. "And other vampires do nothing about things like this?"

Viktor nodded softly, "If we let them out, they will wipe out the village," he said lightly. "It is also one of the reasons we stay around in this town," he said softly. He looked at Maxwell, "we have to make sure they are still looked up," he said.

Jessie frowned. "So massacuring an entire town gives you eternity imprisoned. What..." she frowned and shook her head. Now wasn't the time to ask that question about Isabella. She still didn't fully understand why she was killed. Hunting on anothers turf didn't seem as terrible as killing an entire town. She stepped back out of the mausoleum looking around and wrapping her arms around herself. It was a lot to think about.

Viktor looked at her, "This is a far worse fate than death, believe me," he said softly. He pulled her close, "and it often depends on who is making the decision," he said.

Jessie shifted softly as she leaned her head against Vikyors chest. She knew they where stretching his rules. Really he shouldn't be holding her but it felt so nice and it made the thoughts in her mind quiet down. She nodded as he spoke.

They left the mausoleum and headed back towards the car, "The point, isn't what came of the vampires," Maxwell said. "The point is, how many humans died, trying to fight them, they were peaceful before they were attacked," he said softly.

Jessie nodded. She got back in the car sitting there silent as they drove back to the house. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. She just wanted this week to be over.

Viktor climbed into the back of the car with her, to make sure she was okay on the drive home.

Jessie looked over at Viktor thinking it so very unfair that he could read her mind. She would be over the moon to be able to understand what was going through his head. She gave him a gentle smile because she couldn't reach out to him. "I'm okay." She soothed.

Viktor nodded, "good, still not being scared away?" he asked softly. He looked up as they made it back to the manor.

Jessie smiled at his question and shook her head. "No not scared off." she said reassuringly. As they parked she got out and pressed her hands together behind her back looking at Viktor as he came close to her. "So today is day 5. That leaves what two more days?" she asked him. "Do I show any worrying signs to you?" she asked him.

Viktor smiled softly, glad she was not scared. He looked at her, "none at all, which is good," he said softly.
