Jessie nodded. "Good." She said back. "Well I guess I should go." She said bitting her lip. She wasn't sure if she would be back tomorrow or if on the seventh day she could be with Viktor or if she had to wait till the eighth day. She looked down and pulled her hair to the side. "Okay bye then." She said and started to head back to her car.

Viktor nodded softly, "I will see you in a couple days," he said softly. He smiled softly and headed back towards his study, he was glad that Maxwell was helping to show her the darkside of this life.

Jessie frowned and gave a nod as she slipped into the car. She drove back to her cottage and walked in. Every time she was away from Viktor she noticed how quiet it was. It had never bothered her before but now she couldn't seem to get comfortable without him. It was like he was a part of her.

Viktor went back to his reading, in his study. He was struggling being away from her, he couldn't get her out of his mind. He was glad she seemed to be fine still, and not suffering from withdrawal.

Maxwell walked into Jeremiah's office. He closed the door approaching the man. "We need to have a talk. Jessie is strong but that means she's going to be an even more stubborn newborn. We need to take some precautions now." He said and Jeremiah set down his book. "What did you have in mind?" He asked.

Jessie woke on the seventh day. Today she was going to a dinner with the entire family. Jasmine had decided to put it on. Since they could still enjoy food and Jessie needed to eat it seemed the most laid back for them all to be together, at least that was what Jasmine had said when she called yesterday. Jessie couldn't stop thinking about Viktor. Would he wait till tomorrow? Or would he let her be near him tonight? She had several things she wanted to say or do but only one plan had emerged out of them all. She knew it might be cruel but she wanted him to understand on a deep level how she felt and this was the only way she could think of it.

Viktor was surprised to hear about the dinner plans for tonight, but would show up, even if just to keep an eye on Maxwell. He was getting to the end of his tether waiting for this week to be over.

Jessie knew what she was doing when she dressed for the night. Shr knew the corset would make Viktor look at her and desire her and just maybe he wouldn't make her leave. She walked into the house and smiled seeing Jasmine. She kissed her cheek and they walked into the kitchen. They chatted about nothing in particular. Jasmine asked about her book and Jessie asked about her latest shopping find. They got to the kitchen and sat down at the table. "Wow Jaz you really did up the place." She said and Jasmine smiled. "Well it seemed like something you would do for your first family dinner." She said.

Viktor headed down to see his father, to discuss the evening, he wanted a heads up if anything distressing was going to happen. He knocked sheepishly on Jeremiah's door.

"Come in." Jeremiah looked up as his son came in. "Viktor. Are you about ready to head down to dinner?" he asked as he set his book down. He looked curiously at his son. Usually he didn't come to Jeremiah unless there was something on his mind.

Viktor smiled softly at his father, "I am, I am a little curious though, Maxwell has been awfully quiet as of late," he said softly. He stood awkwardly, "I think he is up to something," he said.

Jeremiah smiled softly at Viktor. "Aww my son. Do not worry I have him well under hand. He will not do anything that I do not know about." He said and stood. Viktor was to smart for his own good. They where going to stall but maybe they should speed up the plan. He stood. "Come let us not keep everyone waiting." he said.

Viktor nodded softly, "I would just appreciate knowing what he has planned," he said softly. He moved towards the door, "I don't want his dislike of humans to affect his decision making," he said soft.y

Jeremiah nodded. "I understand your concern but I will take care of it." He said and door ushering Viktor on.

Viktor nodded and headed down to the dining room, he looked over the family and paused seeing Jessie. She looked so hot, in her outfit.

Jessie was in the middle of laughing at a joke when she knew Viktor walked in. She relaxed and looked over at him smiling softly. She pushed her hair back over her shoulder. She blushed softly as she saw the way he looked her over. She knew she had done well.

Jeremiah walked in. "Oh good everyone is here." he said and have his son a nudge so he would sit across from Jessie. He sat at the head of the table with his wife. "Well Jazmine this is lovely." he said and they begin to dish out the food.

Viktor smiled and moved to the seat opposite Jessie, his eyes not leaving her for one moment. He looked briefly at Jeramiah as he spoke, before looking back. He smelled the air, getting a whiff of her scent, he was so glad the week was at an end.

Jessie smiled softly. Everyone started to talk amongst themselves. Jessie placed a serving of yams on her plate. "So Viktor Penelope has told me you've been studying. Still reading those history books?" she asked him her foot brushing his leg beneath the table. "Oh excuse me." she said though it didn't sound like it had been an accident.

Viktor watched her intently, his hairs on his leg tingling as she rubbed against it. He nodded, "yes still trying to get my head around some parts of the books, trying to develop my understanding of the past more," he said softly. He looked at her, "I hear you have been busy writing, any progress?" he asked.

Jessie smiled nodding. "Those that don't remember the past are doomed to forget it, or something like that?" she asked. He asked about her book and she nodded. "Yes actually I think I am. I went over our notes and started to write up some stuff from there. I think I have a good first half of a rough draft. Rough being the key word there." She took a bite of her food.

Viktor nodded and listened to her, "that sounds good, I would love to give it a read, when you are ready to share it," he said softly. He slowly took a bite of his own food. He was struggling with the pretense here, he just wanted to pull her to him, and kiss her.
