Just hearing James voices caused Aelia to blush more. Her ears giving away more of how his words were affecting her. Followed by a squeak as she felt his hand traveling down her body. Sending her nerves onto overdrive as she stumbled into a sitting position and away from his hand that was caressing her. "I-I'm awake." She mumbled, resting her back against the headboard and grabbed her pillow to hold to her chest. "I'm awake." She repeated as she raised a hand to rub the sleep from her eyes as well as the irritation from the sun away.

"Don't you have kingly stuff to do?" Lia asked quietly as she slowly lowered her hand and just rested it against the pillow she was holding onto. "Why are you meeting with a Princess?" She asked as she slowly brought her legs up to her chest as she hugged the pillow a little tighter. Her chin resting on the top of the softness. Yesterday, Lia wouldn't have dared to speak like this to a King, but, James said she was able to speak last night, so she hoped he didn't mind her pestering.

    --

A slow nod was all that Elliot gave of recognition as he listened to Charrie. He could understand that she'd be tired. She was out last night, and she had been traveling for a while as well. Everything was bound to catch up to her eventually. Poor thing was probably exhausted from everything. "My only plans for the way, are to do some sword training, other than that I'm taking my vacation very seriously." He told her, offering a small smirk as he leaned back in his chair.

"If you'd like, I can have some guards accompany you, and you can explore the castle. Then you can go for a nap before my brother's ready to see you." Elliot offered, hoping that the idea wouldn't be too bad to her. Right now, it was still a little too early to go back to bed, but a walk around the castle was bound to waste at least an hour. "There are some beautiful paintings all around the place." He added on, not sure what Charrie thought of art.

James couldn't help but let out a chuckle as she moved away from him. His eyes followed her as she moved the pillow into her arms. "You are my kingly stuff to do," he teased her before leaning over and pressing a soft kiss to her cheek. "After all we did just marry yesterday." He told her, knowing it would embarrass her more. And the blush on her cheeks and ears were so adorable. "Why don't we eat some breakfast." He told her, before getting up and moving to the table. "I'll explain everything to you while you eat." He told her before taking a seat at the table. His eyes looking over what maid had brought them to eat. Quickly pouring her and himself some orange juice, and then starting to eat. He waited until she took the seat in front of him. "Actually the princess I am to meet with was suppose to be my wife." He told her, like it was nothing to him. "Her father sent her here to so we could solidify our alliances." He explained to her. "Though I don't feel we need it." He smiled knowing that she might blame herself for him not marrying someone else. And with her being his wife now he didn't feel he'd need to keep anything away from her anymore.
Charrie looked at him before shaking her head. "Vacation?" She was surprised to hear that he was on vacation. She thought over the sword training and was tempted to join him. She might have just watched even though she didn't feel like it. But she did have to deal with the king and then sleep. But she wasn't sure when she was going to see the king. And if she wasn't able to sleep before the meeting she might just have to take the prince up on his suggestion. "Well if you don't mind, may we sit in on your sword training?" Abram asked, causing Charrie to look in his direction. "Since we won't be able to meet with the king, it would be such a waste not to be able to see the young prince in training." He went on gushing, knowing his sweet words would most likely appease the young prince as he'd love to show off for a lady.

Charrie wanted to slap the man sitting beside her. He'd done nothing but that didn't mean she didn't want to hit him. It was simply a way to get them out and about without having to have a babysitter. But none the less she didn't really want to spend to much time with the prince as people would start talking. And she couldn't have the king thinking she'd rather be with his brother. That would be so humiliating.

Bright blue eyes narrowed slightly as the man in the room chuckled. Aelia had been serious when she asked that he have kingly stuff to do. What was so funny about that? Although, when he finally seemed to calm down and reply, Lia couldn't help but feel flustered and shy. Her cheeks once again bright pink and the feel of his lips on her cheeks not doing her any favors either. "Y-yes. W-we should probably eat."

Aelia watched James move towards the small table in the room before loosening her grip on the pillow and setting it aside before moving off of the bed. She made sure her gown covered her decently before moving to sit across from James. Her right hand reaching out and plucking a fresh grape from the small bowl of fruit they were given. Her gaze shifting up to the King as he started to speak. "Wait, so, since you're not going to marry the Princess, does that mean that they might want to start a war?" Aelia asked, frowning at the thought. Here she was, warm and safe. Kinda. An in a matter of days hundreds could be dead because of her? Because she married the King and their Princess didn't.

"I feel that's a foolish notion," Aelia said quietly, her hand reaching out and grabbing her orange juice. "In our lives, we could never have too many alliances. We're never truly safe." Her voice was quiet still as she spoke. Only stopping to take a sip of the sweet yet sour juice. "Even if you're not to wed her, you should find a peaceful way to complete the alliance." Her bright blue eyes look up towards James, her lips in a slight frown as she waited to hear what he thought about her words.

    --

"From the capital, that is." Elliot clarified as he offered a small smirk. "Ruling a country is a full-time job, but every once and a while, taking your job to a quieter place is deserved." He explained, hoping she didn't think that he and the King were slackers on how they ruled their country. They take everything extremely seriously and would do anything for their people after all.

Then, a look of shock appeared on Elliot's face as his eyes widened. He stared between Charrie and Abram for a few moments. His lips opening and then closing for a few moments as he thought over the request. He usually didn't have anyone sit in on his training as he liked to get down and dirty with the rest of his men, but, certainly, there would be nothing wrong with it this time. Right? So, clearing his throat, Elliot nodded his head and sat up straight in his seat as he folded his hands together in his lap. "Very well, if that is what you both would like," Elliot said, agreeing to the idea. "Training starts in a few minutes, why don't you both head out to the training yard with some guards and get comfortable?" He offered, before standing up. "I shall see you both shortly." He said as he stood and nodded to them both before leaving to change.

As soon as Elliot was out of the dining room and away from Charrie and Abram's gazes. a tired sigh escaped from the Prince. For some reason, he felt like he was just stumbling over himself and making a fool of himself. "Good going Elliot, you fool." He murmured to himself as he headed to his room to change into a simple white cotton shirt and some plain black pants and boots. He was going to get dirty, so why wear his nice clothing, right?

James shook his head as he placed his fork aside, "that's not what I meant." He told her before taking a drink and clearing his mouth of any left over food. "Our alliance is strong without the marriage, in fact the princess was move of a gift. One I didn't feel the need to except." He told her, before he continued to eat. "Her father only wishes to marry her off to me for his own gain, one thing that I never agreed to." He explained a bit, as he didn't want to lose her with talking. He really wanted her to understand this marriage was more important to him than making allies. But she'd missed the whole meaning behind it. Instead he'd let it go for now. "The king and my father talked about their children marrying but never agreed to it, my father told me he wished that I would see through to marry, but then the king changed children. And now I'm suppose to marry his youngest daughter, who wasn't part of the original talk, not agreement." He knew that world play was his biggest ally. Because had his father wrote an agreement down then he wouldn't have been fortunate enough to marry the beauty sitting across from him. "So you have nothing to worry about my love, the alliance will stand strong." He smiled brightly at her, before turning back to his food.
Charlie looked on as the Prince sat there trying to compose his own shock. She knew what Abram had asked was a bit crossing the line. Though the men in her kingdom were open about training, her brothers would fight guards in the square just behind the castle. It allowed for all to see and she'd found herself picking up a sword every now and again to defend herself. It was only natural for a man of a different kingdom to wish to his his own skills. Because one day it could be used against him. As Abram stood from the table she threw on last look at the Prince knowing this wasn't what he wanted. Standing herself she grasped the arm given before heading out to the training yard. Taking a seat upon the ground she wasn't surprised by the lecture she'd received from the man next to her, though he himself sat down beside her. The complaints never stopping. That was until the Prince appeared. And that was her queue to look to him, her eyes sweeping over him. She'd never seen him dressed so, and honestly she liked it. A small smile pulled at her lips knowing it would be the only time she'd get to enjoy seeing him dress down. Something about it just set well with her like he was suited for those clothing. She couldn't explain it but she liked it none the less.

As the words spewed out of the Kings mouth, Aelia could feel her soft frown changing. Instead, her lips moving into a soft 'oh' sort of notion as she listened. Her cheeks slowly turning a bit pink. It seemed that she had made a fool of herself by not following the complicated talk about politics. "My apologies. I misunderstood." She said quietly, her eyes shifting down to her food for a moment before she started to munch lightly on their breakfast. Her appetite this morning was virtually non-existent. Her nerves still going crazy about everything that's gone on.

"Do you have plans for the day?" Lia asked quietly, her gaze shifting up towards the Kings once more as she slowly brought her fork containing a bite of egg to her lips. "Do you have anything you require of me?" She asked after swallowing and wiping her mouth delicately with a napkin that was on the table for her. A small look of worry appearing in Lia's eyes as she wondered how much she'd be thrust into so soon.

    --

As he arrived at the courtyard, Elliot did his best to not mind his audience any attention. Of course, that didn't go over well with a few of his men. He could hear them whispering about the beauty of the woman watching them and how uncommon it was to be watched. Of course, being the gentleman that he was, Elliot only had to cast one little look towards the men to shut them up. Which in turn caused a small grin to appear on the Prince's lips. He loved the power of fear that he could send into peoples hearts sometimes.

Then, without missing a beat. Elliot started their training session. He didn't want to have any pansy's in his army, nor did he want anyone injured for being idiots. So, they started with simple stretches. Making sure that their muscles were loosened so that they wouldn't be pulled too much as they worked with their swords."Alright, these will be the partners for training today." Elliot called out once everyone was loose and ready to really get to practice. He paired everyone up randomly, making sure that each person was against someone who'd be an interesting opposite. "Clyde and Julien, you both go first," Elliot called out as he moved towards the side like everyone else. Allowing for the men to have some room to fight. "Fight!" He called out, watching as Clyde, the scrawniest guy in the army faced off against one of the more muscular members.

James lifted his eyes to her, his soft and caring look consumed his features. He knew that she had a lot to learn not that he would force her to learn it all now. He wanted to spend time with her just getting to know her as well as performing his husbandly duties. He placed his fork aside as he was finished eating. Placing his elbows on the table he collapsed his hands to together before resting his chin on them. "I do have a few things planned for the day, but they can all wait." He told her honestly. "However I do need to speak with Charrie, the princess." He explained knowing she didn't know who the woman was. "Spend the day with me." He smirked at her, knowing unless she requested to leave the room and explore he hadn't planned on letting her leave it. He didn't want to share her right now. They were suppose to be basking in each other's company. So he planned to get as much time with her as he could.
Charrie fiddled with the fabric of her dress feeling rather bored. She knew that she could asked for a leave, but she was feeling to tired to move right now. Her eyes were drooping as she tried not to fall asleep. It wasn't her fault she was so sleepy, the man who was conducting a practice session before her had been the soul reason why she was so tired. He'd kept her up past her bed time. Wishing to spend time with her. She knew that there was something more than just an apology going on last night. It was the maids who brought it to her attention and she noticed it in the way the women treated her since she'd arrived. They were very stand offish, but didn't spare gossiping about her. She wondered if the thing she'd over heard them say were true. Because if they were she didn't know a woman alive that would want a man like the prince as her husband. He would only bring hurt to the woman. But she didn't think it was true as he didn't try anything with her. He was a true gentleman. And she respected him for his kind act if selflessness.

"Would you like for me to accompany you to speak to the Princess?" Aelia asked quietly, tilting her head to the side as she looked at James unsurely. It might be a bad idea if she tagged along, it could cause the woman to become jealous and that was the last thing that she wanted right now. Lia was to nice to deal with Jealous people, she always gave in to them to easily.

Then, slowly a look of confusion filled Lia's eyes. "Spend the day with you? Won't I get in the way of things?" She asked quietly, worried that she might be asked questions about things she had no idea about and making a huge fool of herself, or worst, causing a problem in the Kingdom. "I-I don't want to cause you any problems."

    --

It was quite a disappointing match to watch. Elliot had specifically asked for Clyde and Julien to fight so that he could see if Clyde could out move the burly man, but it seemed that the young man still had much to learn. "You need to use your brain just as much as your strength." Elliot said as he walked over to the man on the ground and helped him up. "Practice more cardio, that's how you'll win." He adviced before glancing towards the Princess. She looked bored, and that kinda irked him. She asks to join and then threatens to fall asleep on him?

"Kane, you and me, "Elliot called out one of his best fighters. The two were always easily matched, the two always seem to end in a tie as well. Elliot waited for Kane to get into his fighting stance. The duo gave each other a look to see if the other was ready before they both charged at each other. The loud ting of their swords echoing in the area as they stung at each other. Their legs moving then in circles as they blocked, parried and dodged. A great show of excellent swordsmanship skills that only the best in the Kingdoms could pull off.

James couldn't help but let a chuckle fall from his lips. "I won't mind if you don't want to, but I have nothing to hide from you." He told her, "but I did figure I would speak with her while you prepared for your day." He told her honestly. A soft smile pulling at his lips before he let out a chuckle. "Honey you don't seem to understand me." He told her shaking his head lightly. "I'm not talking about join me while I attend to matters." He smirked at her before he stood from his chair. Moving behind her he leaned down before placing a soft kiss to the exposed skin on her shoulder. "What I mean, love. Is we spend the day together, doing whatever we want." He told her kissing his way up her neck. "But while you think over what you want to do today, I'm going to go speak to the princess." He told her. Gently gripping her chin he turned her face to look at him. "Eat, then dress." He said, his words held a bit of a command letting her know not to argue with him. "We can do whatever you want." He breathed out softly over her lips, before he kissed her. It was demanding and full of want, and when he pulled back he could stop himself from placing a quick peck to her lips. "I shall return." He told her, before he slipped from their room. He headed down the hall to his study where he found himself a change of clothing, something simple as a pair of pants and a lose fitting shirt. He hadn't really planned to leave the room but Aelia seemed to much of a free spirit to keep locked up for to long. So he would allow her to go out and explore if that's what she wanted. Once dressed he sent for Charrie he needed to speak with her and get things settled so he could return back to his loving bride.
A yawn slipped past Charrie's lips as she threaten to doze off. She'd all but tuned out the fighting and was happily trying to fall asleep. "Princess, it seems his majesty plans to fight after all." Abram gushed, causing Charrie's eyes to fly open and blink rapidly trying to force herself to stay awake. Looking up at the men before her about to fight. Her heart started to pound as she watch Elliot move around, attacking and fending off attacks. She nearly jumped out of her skin when the guard got the upper hand and tried to land a fatal blow. But just last minute Elliot managed to block. She didn't know how much of this she could take of this, her heart was already hammering in her ears and she was surprised that his skills were so vast. But it didn't matter it was nerve wracking to say the least. Just as she was about to get up and walk away Elliot managed to drop his opponent and placed his sword at the neck. A soft sigh left her lips, but her attention was pulled from the men before her as a maid bent down next to her and whispered in her ear about the king wishing to speak to her in private. Nodding she stood before smiling to Abram. "I must go, you stay and enjoy the show." She told him before turning and following after the woman who was now leading her to see the man who she was to marry.

Every time James' lips touched her, images of last night flashed through Aelia's mind. The good, the pain, the feelings that stirred and mixed together to make some unknown emotion to fill her belly. "Okay." Being the only word she was able to get out as his last kiss met her lips before he left her alone in the grand toom.
A few moments pass before Aelia slowly started to obey the King's orders. She filled her belly with the delicious food before she went to find something to change into. Of course, her wishes for something plain being ignored as the maids brought in a few different dresses to try on the new Queen. They played dress up with her trying on a few dressed, before settling on one dress that made her look like a real noble.

Then, once she was changed and the maids made her look like quite a beauty. They all left her alone to her own devices until the King came back. Glancing around, Aelia couldn't help but to huff as there was nothing to occupy herself with. Well, besides a book full of poems. Being born to a lower class though, Lia couldn't really understand most of the words. Her focus then instead of moving towards the window she was sitting by. Her arm rested on the sill, her head then leaning against her arm as well, then slowly she fell asleep as she waited to be let out of her prison.

    --

A tired sigh escaped from Elliot as he finally beat the man who he had deemed unstoppable in his mind. "You've improved, your highness," Kane said as he accepted the hand that Elliot offered him. A small smirk growing in place of his tired frown. Then, his head shook in disbelief at what Kane had just told him. "Thanks, but that is a lie." He said, calling Kane out on his bluff. "You should only say that when you are not holding back." Those words allowed for a laugh to escape from Kane, who then patted the young Prince on the back before he headed towards the other men.

Walking towards the edge of the group. Elliot couldn't help but glance towards the spot where Charrie had previously been sitting. He was curious as to rather or not she had seen his fight, but, it looked like she was nowhere to be seen. Only the annoying man who had accompanied her here was sitting and watching the men practice.

A wave of disappointment washed over Elliot. He knew that she was taken and he shouldn't be trying to impress a woman who still thought that she was taken, but, it still sucked. He wasn't used to being ignored by women. They usually flocked to him like cattle. "Next fighter, George and Marcus!" He called out, turning his gaze away from Abram and towards his men once more. He needed to focus on training. They had at least another few fights before he could go and bath before doing something else for the rest of the day. Which hopefully entailed bedding a maid or two.

James stood as the door opened and offering a smile. He knew that he would have to shatter this woman's entire future. But he had to after all he was married now. "Please have a seat." He told her before taking up a seat himself. "It seems we have a lot to speak about." He told her, really regretting his decision not to speak to her before the wedding. Now he was really nervous of what will happened. "I've ask you hear to tell you. That I can't marry you." He told her watching as shock consumed her features. "I know it was something our fathers talked about it, but I'm already married." He told her sparing her the details on when in fact he had actually married.

"Married?" She said her eyes searching the floor for any answers. "Why wasn't this news sent to my father?" She asked, knowing this news should have been shared before she ever left her kingdom. She couldn't bring herself to look up at him, knowing that her future was so uncertain now. If she was to return home there was no telling what would happen to her now, as her brother was now running the kingdom. "What was you're plans if you had no wish in marrying me?" She asked.

"There is much that has been over looked, but I assure you I have no intentions." He told her, a frown pulling at his lips as he knew this was a very big smack to her face. "I am sorry that you've had to travel all this way for nothing." He told her hoping to end this now so that he may be able to go back to his bride.

"Wait, so I'm just suppose to return home?" She asked him, shock consumed her. She wondered if there was a way out of this. "You know my brother will not take this lightly." She started to, hoping that he was aware that this could mean a war between the two kingdoms. "I was sent here to solidify our kingdom's alliance." She told him feeling like if she didn't do something now they be mortal enemies. "My father did say that I was to marry into the royal family. Not that I had to marry the king." She told him truthfully. "Even if you are married, then there is a chances that we can keep from starting a war." She told him, knowing she wasn't coming out and saying it. But what she was hinting at would ultimately.

"You mean you'd be willing to marry Elliot?" He questioned, blinking at her. But he nodded none the less. "If it will keep your family happy then done." He smiled, at her once she locked her eyes with his. "I'll inform Elliot, then the two of you will have a lot to discuss." He smirked thankful that he was able to avoid a war. Though he wasn't sure if he hadn't started one with his own brother. "If you'll excused me I'll inform Elliot now, before returning to my wife. I look forward to welcoming you to the family." He smiled, giving her a bow. Then watching as she scurried out of the room.

James exited his study before he headed down to the field where Elliot was so he could inform him of the great news. Though he wasn't sure how his brother would take the news. Once on the field he couldn't help but clap at the sight of the men training. "Brother, a word if you would." He told him, smiling. Deciding to walk with him along the field a ways away from Abram. "So as you know my marriage to Aelia was last night." He started before smiling at his brother. "Of course it put a bit of a strain on our alliances." He stopped before looking at his brother. "So I have decided to smooth things over, by having you marry Charrie in my stead." He told him.

It seemed like the change of scenery for the men was a good choice on Elliot's part. They all seemed more rested and ready to practice more. They were all showing a lot more potential in their fighting abilities. An at this rate, they just might be on the course to becoming one of the strongest armies in the Kingdom, or rather, the world. An he, Prince Elliot Reikon as the commander of them all. Just the thought of leading such a strong man to send a wave of satisfaction to wash over him. Oh, how his father would be proud to see how far his men have all come.

Turning at the sound of clapping, Elliot couldn't help but frown slightly. "My King." He said respectfully and bowed slightly towards his older brother. Then, as he stood up straight, a wary look appeared on Elliot's face. He couldn't remember his brother asking him for something like this since before he took the throne. "Certainly." He murmured, then quickly told one of his men to lead the rest of the practice as Elliot went to follow his brother. Keeping one step behind out of respect and to hold up the appearance to the servants that they weren't having a brotherly conversation.

"I do, and congrats on getting your hands on the girl in the prophecy," Elliot said, his arms crossing behind his back as he stood up straight. His dark eyes narrowing as he looked at his brother, not sure where this whole conversation was heading. Then, as he listened to James, his lips turning into a frown as things fell into place. And as the words left his mouth, Elliot couldn't help but let out a small surprised laugh. Not believing what he was hearing coming out of his brother's mouth.

"You, want me to marry Princess Charrie?" He asked, his right eyebrow-raising in disbelief. "You do realize that I do not like being tied down to responsibilities. Right?" Elliot asked, making sure his brother remembered he was talking to the man who could woo almost any woman into his bed. "Who's idea was it for me to marry the Princess anyway?" He asked, his arms moving from being crossed behind his back to being crossed in front of his chest. "Why can't you just have two wives?" He asked, then pursed his lips as he already knew the answer to that question. Raising a hand and just waving it like he was waving away some dust he saw floating in the air.

Moving the hand that he used to wave the question away to cover his mouth. Elliot turned his head away from James. He was not happy about being arranged to marry when he was perfectly content fucking any woman who he dared choose to, but. James was King and Elliot knew better than to test his brother's patience, plus. He wouldn't mind bedding Charrie whenever he pleased. She was nice to look at anyways, plus, her personality was quite a turn on as well. "When do I have to wed her?" He asked, the cogs in his mind turning as he thought up how he'd have to bed his wife and his maids separately so that Charrie didn't find out.

James sighed as he stopped walking and looked at his brother. "You are more like father." He told his younger brother. "But this is something I must insist on for the sake of our kingdom." He told him before bowing his head. "And I know you won't let me down." He smirked at his brother wondering just what all he would have to do to keep his brother from ruining the marriage between him and the princess.

"I would hate to have to take away all your play things." He warned him, patting him gently on his shoulders. "So please remember your place." He warned. Before turning on his heels and walking away. "Oh and soon, discuss that with her." He turned smirking at him before he then headed straight back inside and up to his bride.

James enter the room swiftly cross the floor and wrapped his arms around Aelia's waist. A soft smile pulling at his lips as he noticed she was sleeping. Brushing her hair off of her neck he started to kiss the exposed skin. "My love, wake up." He whispered in her ear as he managed to trail kisses up to it. "You didn't tell me you were ready for bed." He teased her, his hands sliding down her stomach teasingly.

Slowly, a soft groan escaped from Aelia's lips as she started to stir from her slumber. Her skin shuddered at the feeling of James' breath as he spoke into her ear. Light hear starting to radiate from her skin as she started to register his lips pressing against her skin in a way that sends butterflies to flutter along in her body. "I was just resting my eyes." She mumbled quietly, her hands quickly moving to hold his hands still as her eyes opening half way and looking up towards the man who she now had to call husband.

"Did you talk to the Princess?" She asked quietly, letting his hands go as she moved her hands to rest in her lap as she sat up straighter in her chair. "Did everything go alright? Are you in trouble?" Questions rushed out of Lia's lips, worry etched into her features as she looked into his eyes, hoping that he'd say things were going to be alright between all of them.

Along tired sigh escaped for Elliot as he just shook his head in disbelief. He had no idea what he was going to do in this sort of situation. He was not the marrying type. He just wanted to woo a woman and have fun. Sure, maybe down the line he'd like to have a bastard or two, but he really didn't want to be tied down to one person. He had a strong attraction to a few of his maids, surely, they'd not like having to share him with another woman.

Standing in one spot by himself probably seemed odd to the passing guards and servants. So, the young Prince turned on his heels like his brother and headed into the castle. He assumed the young lady would have wandered off to her room since she was tired. If she was not there though, he'd have no idea where else to look because he didn't really know her quite well enough yet. Once they'd meet though, he'd like to move right in to talk about there marriage. His expression playing one of amusement instead of the unease he was actually feeling. His lips doing that seductive smirk that he's mastered.

James couldn't help the chuckle that left his lips as she stopped his movements. "Everything went fine." He smiled at her, "Charrie and Elliot are going to wed." He told her simply. "As it seems the princess was told that she was to marry into the royal family not that she had to marry me." He told her, hoping that she would be at ease because he was sharing more with her than he had ever before. He also hoped that by her knowing that she wasn't going to cause a war that she'd be a bit more happy. "Is there anything you'd like to do today?" He asked squeezing her, a soft sigh leaving his lips at how perfect she felt in his arms. "I mean I could spend all day right here with you." He told her, "maybe we can cuddle on the bed?" He was giving her the options to choose.
Once she was behind her closed bedroom door Charrie started to change out of her dress, and into something more comfortable so that she could sleep at ease. She knew that James said he would talk with Elliot and tell him the decision that came from their meeting. But she really hadn't expected him to do it right after they spoke, after all he did say he wished to get back to his wife. It did sadden her slightly that she wasn't able to fulfill her father's wishes in marrying the king. However she wouldn't be going home empty handed. And as she slipped into her bed she felt like she could just drop off asleep. As she didn't feel like there was much worry any more. She could sleep. But the sound of someone knocking on her door pulled a groan from her lips. The last thing she wanted right now was for someone to be bothering her. But a part of her was excited to speak with Elliot while the other was nervous about the union.

Opening the door she didn't bother to cover herself as she knew who it was. Blinking lightly up at the man before her she was curious as to what he wanted. And what couldn't wait. "Yes?" She asked hoping this wouldn't take to long.

"That's good," Lia said quietly and let out a small sigh, her body relaxing immensely at the knowledge of everything turning out alright. "Did you tell Prince Elliot then?" She questioned as she looked up into his hazel eyes, studying them for a moment as she listened to his words. A small grin appearing on her lips as she was able to choose what she wanted to do today. Which was kinda exciting in the notion its self.

"I have a feeling that cuddling is not what you're applying when you say that," Aelia said quietly as she reached one hand up and placed it lightly on his cheek. The tips of her fingers lightly running over the stubble that covered his cheeks. "Can we go exploring? I haven't gotten to see much. Please?" She asked, giving James the best puppy dog eyes she could muster.

"So, a little birdy told me that we're engaged." Elliot didn't waste any time as soon as he saw the beautiful face of Charrie. His eyes shifting down to look the beauty that was in front of him up and down for a moment. It seemed that he had been right that she had been going off to sleep. Although he had hoped that his slow pace walking here looking for her would have allowed for her to have a small nap first.

"As your fiance' can I come in?" He asked, leaning against the doorway slightly. His dark eyes glancing towards the hall to his right for a moment as he heard voices for a moment before they passed. Then looked back towards the young beauty that was in front of him. "I feel like our conversation isn't meant for prying ears just yet." He explained, hoping to get the scantily clad woman alone in a room where he could safely ogle her as they spoke. While being discrete by it of course!

James couldn't help but let out a laugh. "I would love it if we cuddled, however I would be honored if you allowed me to bed you again." He told her truthfully. "Though I was sincere on cuddling with you, and nothing more." He informed. Before standing up and pulling her closer to him. "You wish to explore, then we shall explore." He smiled at her. "But don't expect me to know much about this castle." He warned her. He'd already shown her plenty of placed, they were actually the only ones that he knew about in details. The rest were things that he hadn't cared much about to keep any information locked about it.

Pulling her close to him he leaned down and pressed his lips firmly to hers. His kiss was gently yet demanding. He needed her to understand that she was very much wanted by him, and this wasn't a decision he regretted. Breaking the kiss he placed his forehead on her head. "Shall we?" He asked her, before straightening up and then offering her his arm.
Charrie knew it was Elliot, a soft smile pulled at her lips at his words. Then she stepped back and allowed him entrance into her room. Even though it was normally forbidden for a unwed woman to be alone with a man, even one that was said to be her husband. She closed the door behind him. And then turned to peer up at him. "So it seems you've spoke with the king." She said, before moving to the chairs in her room. Taking a seat there and then turning to look at the man she was now engaged with.

"So please tell me why we need to speak." She said to him, suggesting he take a seat opposite of her. Hoping that he wasn't to angry with her decision to marry for him. Even though he was a back up choice for her. But she knew that he was a better option that going back home and being married off to some random man. This was Elliot, she'd spent time getting to know him and she rather enjoyed his company. So she didn't see why she couldn't enjoy being his wife as well. Though there was thoughts in the back of her mind about what the maids have said, in the past.
