@ past the time
Peyton watched as he walked off knowing they weren’t going to be doing much speaking to each other. She’d messed things up and her brain had vacated the premises and she wasn’t good to the world. Sighing she knew she’d have to deal with Meg. But as she walked to the girl she started picking up pieces of discarded clothing, her jacket and shirt. “Meg.” She scolded her, before noticing her friend leaning against a tree the her tank top not leaving much room to the imagination but it was enough clothing Peyton couldn’t complain. “You okay?” She asked her. Watching she she shook her head. She was hoping her friend was coming down off whatever high she was on. “Okay well then I’m going to leave you alone. You need me just call.” She told her. She wasn’t about to deal with her throwing up.
Moving back to the car she tossed Meg’s jacket into the car and then closed the door. Taking her shirt she went down to the lake. Moving to the edge of the water she dipped material into the icy cold water. Pulling it out she rung it out lightly before moving over to Kyle. “Here this should help.” She told him kneeling down next to him and lifting the shirt up to him.
