Ben moved around enjoying his time at the game, taking few picture when he felt like it. But most of the time he spent talking with a few people here and there. Most of them were loose acquaintances but he still felt relief from having to take pictures of the cheerleaders. His eyes would wander over to the cheer squad every now and then. But what really got his attention was when Cassidy left the squad. His eyes followed her loving the way her uniform fit her body. It was his favorite one they had, the way it hugged her curves. Though he could tell something was off. The way it fit seemed to have changed, almost like she was loosing weight. Frowning he headed towards the water table. As he neared he was just going to ignore her but he wanted to look closer at her, to see if he was dreaming or not.

Stopping just shy of her he noticed that she was acting strange. "Hey." He said to her before he placed his hand on her back and pushed her head down. "Take deep breaths." He told her, trying to talk her through a panic attack. "Breath in." He told her, then watching as she tried to comply with his instructions. "Breath out." He said, then repeated his instructions over and over again. He squatted down setting his camera down not caring about it right now. All he cared about was walking her through this.
Frankie heard the door open and she threw a look over her shoulder, noticing Ryder. Her eyes widened as she did her best to cover herself. She knew he couldn't see much but the fact that she was shirtless in front of a guy she'd been trying to get help from not even an hour ago. She heard his rushed apology before he disappeared behind a closed door. Breathing a sigh she turned back to trying to dry off her shirt, knowing he'd more than likely heading off to the bathroom. Once her shirt was some what suitable she pulled it on. Hearing the muffled voice from the other side of the door. She moved to the door, before pulling it open. "Yeah everything is great, just a little spill." She told him, smiling at him knowing it was the best she could offer him right now. She was a bit irritated, though she tried not to take it out on him.

Cassidy let herself sit down on the grass of the field, clutching at the fabric of her top as if loosening it could help her situation. Her eyes widened as she noticed Ben approaching her. She shook her head at him "call the medic" she snapped, watching him with worried eyes as he knelt down beside her. She was terrified,it felt like she could be having a heart attack and he was just sitting there rubbing her back?

Cass could feel tears prickling at the back of her eyes as she sat there, glancing around nervously. She could hear the blood thumping at her temples, and everything around her felt muffled and distant. Yet she felt like the world was staring at her. She glanced over at Ben clutching at his arm. "Help" she asked loudly, but from looking in to his eyes she could sense that that was exactly what he was trying to do.she began to do as he said ,her body shaking involuntarily. After what felt like forever, she felt the pain in her chest lightening up until the feeling of construction lifted from her altogether. She buried her head in her hands, unable to look around her she felt so embarrassed. "thank you" she whispered to Ben, not letting go of his hand which she had taken hold of while trying so hard to control her breathing.

    ***

Ryder was standing close to the door, trying to hear what she was saying when it was flung open. He looked at her sheepishly before taking a step back, his eyes beginning to recognise her. "Oh hey it's you. Listen I really am so sorry it wasn't on purpose I promise I didn't realise anybody was in there I really honestly thought it was the bathroom" he said hurriedly, really not wanting her to get a bad impression of him. He cleared his throat softly, looking around momentarily before his eyes landed back on her again. He knew he was a little drunk, but not drink enough to seem like he was just looking to get some. "So while your here, how does tomorrow at 11 sounds for our first session?" He offered.

While he hadn't seen much, that image of her milky bare shoulders and long elegant back hung in his mind as he looked at her. Her skin looked so soft, but he wondered what caused the faded bruises along her spine.

Ben did his best to keep himself calm, however he was starting to panic. He knew she didn't trust him to help, but that's what he was trying to do. And as she finally started to breath, he felt her take his hand. Giving her a reassuring squeeze he nodded to he knowing she was finally breathing easily. "Thank God." He muttered to himself as he felt relief flood him. He quickly looked around noticing that her coach was coming over. "Ben what are you doing?" She all but yelled at him, not being able to see Cassidy from the other side of the table. "Cassidy isn't feeling well, I'm just making sure she's okay." He told her, surprised when she quickly moved around the table and squatted in front of the girl. He couldn't hear what she was saying as he'd moved back some getting out of her way. Though he had to reluctantly let go of her hand.
Frankie turned and looked at him as she'd planned on heading back out to the party. In the back of her mind she just wanted to leave, and had actually planned to escape with out being seen. "Yeah, it's all good." She told him, knowing if he'd been looking to score he'd more than likely ended up inside the room with her shirtless, instead of fleeing to the hall. "I get it." She told him knowing people made mistakes all the time, especially while drunk. Though looking over him she could tell he wasn't drunk drunk, but he was feeling it. "Yeah, you sure you'll be up for 11?" She questioned him, wondering why he'd want to even be up that early after drinking the night before. "I mean I'm up to it if you are." She added not wanting him to take it back as she needed this.

Cassidy stayed crouched by the water, she really didn't want any attention for this she was embarrassed enough as it was. She glanced up at the coach as she knelt down next to her, watching Ben move away. "I'm sorry coach.. I didn't know what was happening" Casey said quickly, guilt washing over her face. She began to explain the feeling she had had- without giving the reasoning. Her coach was evidently peeved, but not quite angry enough to force her out on the field. "Sit this one out Blake. But get yourself together for next time. You should be used to big crowds or we may need to overlook your place on this team" she said seriously before walking away. Cass stared after her for a second before scrambling to her legs, feeling a little like Bambi. She began to head towards the dressing rooms as quickly as she could, wanting to get out of everyone's eyeline.

Ryder smirked, crossing his arms across his chest looking down at her "are you questioning my abilities?" He teased gently, chuckling as he watched her get flustered. "Chill, I'm only kidding. I'm going to be up at 9 anyway I'll have plenty of energy by the time I get to you. If it's two early for you I could find another time though?" He offered, wondering if maybe she had been planning on getting drunk.

His mind was still wondering what those marks were from, but he was also beginning to questoon if he was drunker than he thought he was, maybe he hadn't seen anything at all. "So what are you doing here, shouldn't you be studying?" He asked with a chuckle.

Ben grabbed his camera and toyed with it while they spoke. But he could hear the harsh tone of the couch lingering in the air. She wasn't serious about kicking Cassidy off the team, he wouldn't allow it. Not over a panic attack they could happen for any reason. He didn't dare say anything but as the woman left he turned to Cass his eyes watching her as she staggered to get up. He jumped up and moved to help her but she stabled herself before he could do anything more. Watching as she left the field he debated weather or not he should follow. Deep down he knew he wanted to make sure she was okay, it was as much for himself as it was for her. But he couldn't bring himself to do it as she'd already called him a stalker enough times already that he knew it was best to give her space.

As the first half of the game finished he couldn't help but look back at the entrance she'd disappeared into. A sigh leaving his lips as he didn't know what he was doing any more. Just that he feet had a mind of there own and he was worried. If she'd had a panic attack once she could have another at any time. After all he didn't bother to ask why she'd had one in the first place. So instead he found himself out side the cheer leaders locker room. Opening the door lightly he called into the room. "Cassidy are you in there?" He asked knowing she'd more than likely not answer him, but he didn't want to walk in on her changing.
Frankie couldn't help but chuckle as she raised a brow at his cockiness. He was cute when he was like this. It wasn't quite overly done, so it was something she could easily be attracted to. Though she didn't want to let her mind wonder that way, but his words had her thinking more perverted thoughts than she liked to admit. "And here I thought you weren't trying to pick me up." She accused him, teasingly. Thinking about how he'd have plenty of energy. Those words were racing through her head making her wonder just what he'd be like. But she had to stop herself. No matter how cute he was she couldn't let herself get distracted by his looks, she only needed him for his notes. Though she would have to admit it had been a while since she'd gotten laid.

"I'm here with a friend, and I'll take breaks when I feel like it." She told him before snapping back at him. "Shouldn't you be tutoring?" She knew she was throwing it back in his face, but she really didn't care if he answered her or not. She felt like she needed to escape from him or she'd end up doing something that she'd regret. And she couldn't blame it on being drunk as she'd not even drank anything.

Cassidy had pulled on an oversized sweatshirt with the college logo on it over her uniform. It was pretty faded and far too big for her, it used to Bellingham to her brother. She sat herself in the corner of the room, not really wanting to leave before the game ended, just in case the coach thought she had been trying to leave early. She heard her name being called out from the door, and quickly wiped her face hoping she had gotten rid of all evidence of the tears. "What?" She called out, not quite sure who the voice belonged to.

"What are you doing in here?" She asked Ben when she saw him round the corner, pulling her knees a little closer to her chest, letting the jumper cover her hands as she sat there. She nibbled on her thumbnail keeping her eyes trained on Ben. "Uh... Thanks for helping me out I guess" she stated a little flatly, she didn't really know how thankful she could be given it was partly his fault she had the attack in the first place.

    ***

Ryder chuckled raising an eyebrow at Frankie. "Pick you up? If anything I would say you're trying to seduce my notes out of me" he teased, letting his arm fall back to his sides as he watched her. He didn't know if it was beer goggles or was she actually just really hot, either way it didn't matter because Ryder always swore to himself he would never sleep with anybody he tutored, it didn't send out a great message.

He frowned slightly as her tone changed, taking a step back from her woah, I was only kidding with. You, chill out" he said softly, regretting making the joke now. He took another step back shaking his head softly "I'm gonna go find the bathroom. Have a good night Frankie" he said, shaking his head softly. She had seemed so nice, and as much as he promised himself he wouldn't, she seemed like the type of girl he could get to like but not if she was going to be so snappy .

Ben heard the voice he'd been seeking and sighed softly before entering the locker room. He forced a smile as he tried to hid his relief. He knew it wasn't her fault for scaring him like that. He felt his smile fall hearing her hateful words. His brows pulling together as he felt like she'd reverted back into hating him agian. He'd honestly didn't know why he was here any more. And told himself he needed to get over her. Move on and let things go. But he couldn't help it, she drew him in no matter what he did. "You don't have to thank me." He told her taking a seat near her, he looked at her worried expression showing clearly on his face. "Are you okay?" He asked her, watching as she cuddled into herself. Placing his camera on the other side of him he looked at her hoping that whatever she was going through she was getting help with. He knew it could be something stupidly simple that could cause a panic attack. Like a C on a score card. He didn't know what was so important to her that could drag her under like that. Where she basically forgot how to breath.
Frankie scoffed hearing him accuse her of trying to seduce him. "Yeah sure like I knew you'd be here." She told him, before rolling her eyes. She didn't need to explain things to him. And she sure the hell wasn't trying to seduce him. If she knew it would work she'd have done so at the library this afternoon not wait till he'd agreed to tutor her. She shook her head hearing him brush her off, knowing they'd both gotten a bit touchy when it came to the other. She was just trying to keep a level head around him. But she couldn't focus very well even when she'd been in the library with him earlier. She didn't know what was coming over her as she knew he was off limits. He was strictly for studding purposes only noting more. And she didn't want to let her body dictate what happened between them. "Yeah, later." She told him before quickly darting back out into the overly crowded room. She wanted so badly to throw back a bottle or two of booze, but she couldn't. It wasn't part of her plan tonight. And instead of returning to dancing she headed straight for the front door hoping to escape this place.

Cass sighed softly as she saw how hurt he looked when she passed a comment and she just leaned her head against the wall looking away from him. "Sorry" she mumbled softly, beginning to toy with a loose string on the jumper. She realised of she didn't want him telling people about her scholarship she really should start being nicer to him. She glanced over at him with a soft smile, that didn't reach her eyes. "I mean it. Thank you. That's never happened me before I didn't know what was going on" she told him softly.

She groaned, letting her head fall in to her hands. "God I'm so embarrassed. Everyone saw" she said playing with her hair nervously. "I wanted to do good tonight, I really really need to make captain this year" she said, biting down on her lip to try and stop the tears from falling as she spoke. "I guess I just got a little overwhelmed or whatever" she shrugged off, not wanting to blame him. She wiped the tear off of her eye, turning away from him slightly trying to hide it. She hated when people saw her cry she didn't like to seem weak. "Ben... Can you start to me you won't mention my scholarship to anyone? I know it probably doesn't sound like a big deal but it just... It is to me okay" she said gently, her hands balling up in the fists under her jumper.

    ****

Ryder went to the bathroom shaking his head slightly. He was getting a bit fed up of how demanding this girl was. He was going out of his way to try and help her and yet she got all snarky with him when he tried to make a simple joke. He grumbled a little to himself as he flushed the toilet and washed his hands before heading back downstairs. He grabbed another beer, drinking it down quickly. He wasn't usually the type to get flirty with girls, and it was pretty shit when they got all defensive when he did. It was just some harmless fun anyway, he doubted they would ever want to get tied up in one another's lives.

Ben offered her a small smile, knowing that it happened and scared the hell out of people when it did. He couldn't imagine what she was going through right now and he only hoped that what ever it was that caused it she'd be able to face it and not have another attack. "Is that why you had the attack?" He asked her, "you're stressing out about being captain?" He asked her, wondering what he could do to help her lessen her stress. Even though she wasn't his to worry about that didn't stop him from doing. He noticed her shift in mood when he mentioned it, realizing this was something she was happy and excited for not stressing out about it.

"Wait, you're saying you're worried that I'm going to tell people about you being on a scholarship?" He furrowed his brows, before it hit him he was the reason why she'd had a panic attack. Blinking at the wall he wanted to kick himself for ever mention that he knew about it. "You think so little of me." He sighed, hating that when he felt like he was getting closer to her she'd end up striking a blow at his ego. "I know it's hard for you to believe, but I've never spoken of you to anyone. Even though I hear a lot of things from you and your friends. I don't feel the need to gossip about people." He told her. "So if it really means that much to you then rest assure I will never tell anyone." He told her, shaking his head before standing up. He could feel his own anger starting to get the best of him, and wished he could just forget his feelings for her. "God you are a stubborn woman." He told her before heading towards the door.
A soft groan left Frankie's throat as her friend dragged her back on to the dance floor. She knew that she wasn't going to get out of the party any time soon. Though this time she'd managed to drop the cup she'd been given. There was no way in hell she was drinking, not with the pills she'd been taking. It wouldn't be long till she was done with all the drugs and doctors visits. Though she really didn't know if she'd ever be done. There was a chance of it coming back. And times like this made her hate that she'd ever gotten sick. Because she wanted to live it up, but couldn't. As the music pulsed her body moved. She wasn't drunk like the bodies moving around her and it did suck. But she didn't let it stop her from dancing, until she felt someone pressing up against her. His breath reeked of liquor and made her feel really uncomfortable as his hands slid along her body. Doing her best to break free, she turned to face him, noticing one of the guys from the football team. A sigh slipping from her lips as knew she'd more than likely not be able to slip away as easily as she'd hoped. She didn't know his name nor care to learn it, but she wasn't drunk so she wasn't going to be sleeping with him. Placing her hands on his chest she pushed away from him, doing her best to slip out of his grasp. A soft smirk forming on his lips when he noticing how she was playing hard to get. It wasn't till her back hit someone else and their strong hands gripping her hips that she realized that she wasn't going to get out of this. "Stop." She told him as the guy in front of her moved closer to her, "let go of me." She said to the guy behind her as she struggled to get free. Not going to let these guys have their fun. A soft huff left her lips when she couldn't break free. "You don't have to play hard to get, I know you want me." He told her before trying to kiss her. "Fuck off." She growled out before bringing her knee up into his groin. She watched as he kneel over the guy behind her only squeezing her hips hard. So she stomped down on his foot, then elbowed him hard as she could in the stomach. When that worked she quickly darted away from them did her best to make a bee line to the front door.

Cassidy frowned as he began to furrowing his brows, clearly confused as to why she would care do much if her told people. She pulled her leggs a little closer in to herself as he began to go off on a tangent about how little she thought of him, and how he would never do something like that her. Eventually she had had enough. He hands curled in to tight little fists as she forced herself up off the bench, staring directly at him. "Ben, stop." She demanded. Cass knew she was quite a loud person, but she rarely stood up for herself. Her face was clearly upset and angry as she spoke.

"Ben... You act like we treat you so badly with the things we say, and yeah... They can be nasty. But you have given us no reason to think otherwise. You come and you take our pictures- half of which we don't see. You don't talk with us, you don't come to our socials you make no effort to get to know, you never have!" She said angrily, taking another step close to him. "you don't know the first thing about me or my life, so don't you dare put me down for worrying that you may tell people. You are the only other person in this school that knows that about me.. and whether you get it or not, it's very important to me that it doesn't get out. I ahve a right to be worried you would tell somebody so shut the fuck up with your righteous bullshit about how you would never goosuo about me, because I. Don't. Know. You." She said angrily, her whole body beginning to shake as she sat back down quickly. She really didn't k ow where all of that came from.

Ryder spent the night in the kitchen, drinking and chatting with his mates. He had never been much of a dancer, nor did he seek out many girls. He preferred for any romantic encounters to happen naturally. He yawned slightly looking at his watch. He figured he should get home soon given that he had to be up so early in the morning. He said a goodbye to his friends and began to leave, much to his dismay having to head through the throng of people gyrating against one another to get to the front door.

He kept his head low not wanting to be stopped by anyone who knew him, when suddenly he felt a guy come barreling in to him. He looked up to see some other guy pushing himself on to a girl, it was. The same girl from today in the library- Frankie. He went to step in, but to his amazement saw her land him with a punch in the stomach and take off running. He sighed softly and hurried to catch up to her, he didn't want her to have to walk alone, especially not after that.

"Frankie" he called out as he ran out of the house, looking up and down the road for the direction she had gone in. He spotted a feminine figure a couple of metres up the road and began to run after it. "Frankie, it's me. Look I'm sorry if I pissed you off earlier, but let me walk you home. You shouldn't be out here on your own" he told her kindly, a little out of breath after running.

Ben stopped when turning to look at her scoffing hearing her words. "Do you even listen to yourself?" He question her. "You don't treat me badly? Really calling me a stalker and making my girlfriend break up with me because she believes your lies, yeah not done anything to me." He shook his head. "I take pictures of the cheer squad for a grade. Not for personal use, but I'm treated like some sort of freak for it." He shook his head. "Why would I want to be friends with people that have isolated me from everyone else?" He threw back at her. "Oh yeah and when I do try to be nice, don't fucking talk to me, ring a bell?" He asked, "so you can't say that I haven't tried to be nice and let you guys look at the pictures, but when your coach treats me like shit too, the crew follows." He shrugged it off. "I'm used to it, though." He sighed. "And so really you don't have to worry about me telling any one about your scholarship, as they'd never believe me in the first place." He shook his head, sure he looked like a social butterfly but most of the people he spoke to were either in his classes and or just being nice. Plus he didn't trust people anymore, as the last guy that he was friends with ended up dating one of the cheerleaders and now he too calls him a stalker. "So fuck you." He sighed, knowing that he was going to quit taking pictures cheer leaders even if it meant he'd end up tanking his classes. Walking out of the locker room he felt like he'd just received a kick to the gut.
Frankie moved out the door and her feet carried her away she wasn't even sure were she was running to just that she was. It wasn't till her name was called that she realized that she was being followed, slowing to a stop she doubled over as she tried to catch her breath. Hearing Ryder's voice she looked up at him doing her best to stand up and keep herself calm. "I'm fine." She told him before getting her footing. "I'm fine." She told him trying to shake off the feeling of almost being raped. She never thought she'd ever have to defend herself, like that before. Of course her father had always told her to go for the nuts, and she'd never thought the things he told her would work. And now she was running away from attackers. She knew that if she hadn't rolled her eyes at her dad back in the day she could have learn a lot more than what she'd just done. Hopefully it wouldn't ever happen agian. Looking at Ryder she sighed wondering why he was standing her next to her. "What?" She asked him, having not heard a single thing he'd said. But she wasn't even sure why he'd bother with her now after their earlier exchange.
