    Feel my blood running
    swear the sky's falling
I know that all this shit's fabricated
    time goes by and
    I can't control my mind
don't know what else to try,
but you tell me every time
    just keep breathing

As the plane touched down at home, finally, Calum breathed out with excitement, eager to see his girlfriend, Sierra. It was always hard being away from her for any amount of time, the thought of falling asleep without her in his arms always making him feel lonely, even more so when he had to actively feel her absence. Climbing to his feet, he grabbed his carry-on bag and headed off the plane with the others, but he quickly made his way to the terminal to get the rest of his things while he put in a request for an Uber. He couldn't wait to get home, so he didn't even pay attention to the fact that he was in such a rush. Grabbing his things, he made his way out, waving to his friends. “See you, guys! I've got a girl to get home to!” he called with a broad grin as he headed towards the exit once he got the confirmation that his Uber had arrived. Pulling out his phone, he quickly sent a text to Sierra. Almost home, babe! Can't wait to see you!

Letha pulled up at home, having been out to buy groceries for the house she shared with Luke. Climbing out of the car, she grabbed the bags and headed up to the house, grinning, because Luke was coming home today. As she approached the house, though, she blinked at the sight of a box. Kneeling to pick it up, she arched a brow when she saw it was addressed to her and she wondered if it was from Luke; it wasn't rare for Luke to send gifts while he was gone. As she walked into the house, she went to set the box down and put the groceries away before she opened the box, pausing when she saw the heart-shaped jewelry box and, with a grin, she snapped a picture of it before sending it to Luke, along with a text, From you, babe? It's so cute!

Sierra smiled as she closed the garden path behind herself, Duke already tugging on his leash to lead her up the garden path. Calum was coming home today, and Sierra couldn't wait to have him back home. Sleeping alone was beginning to take a toll on her, especially as the weather got colder by the day. Unclipping Duke's leash from his collar so he could sniff around the garden, Sierra felt her phone vibrate and pulled it from the pocket of her hoodie, smiling as she saw Calum's name, although her attention was captured by a box on the doorstep. Raising an eyebrow, Sierra approached and saw the box was addressed to her. Unlocking the front door, allowing Duke to trot in happily, Sierra picked up the box and headed inside, opening it and smiling as she saw a beautiful music box inside. Snapping a photo, Sierra sent it to Calum. Did you do this? I love it, baby. I can't wait to see you.

Luke had been waiting for this day for the past three weeks. He was heading home to Letha, where he'd wanted to be for so long. He loved the boys, he loved his band, and he loved touring, but without Letha by his side, the whole wide world seemed so dull without her light to illuminate the beauty he got to experience every day. When he had gotten off the plane, Luke stretched his legs as he exited the terminal and grinned to himself because it wasn't long before he was reunited with the love of his life. Sending Letha a photo of the airport terminal, Luke grinned. Guess who's home! Can't wait to get back to you, love. Using an app to order himself an Uber, Luke grinned as his phone vibrated, but when he opened the text, his brows furrowed together in confusion. Grabbing his suitcase from luggage, Luke scanned the text and the photo of the heart shaped jewelry box, and as cute as it was, it wasn't something he'd personally choose to gift to Letha - the woman deserved the whole damn world. Wasn't me, babe! Maybe you've got a secret admirer! And Luke laughed it off, shaking his head and assuming someone must of seen her around and wanting to do something nice - who could blame them? Letha was a beauty and it wasn't difficult to fall in love with her. As Luke had the notification his Uber was outside, he said a quick goodbye to Ashton and Michael and headed out, eager to get home.

Calum settled into the Uber seat once he’d climbed in, relaxing happily as he peered out the window, looking forward to seeing Sierra again after what felt like forever without her by his side. He hated being away from her, but he loved coming home and knowing that she would be there when he got there. When he heard his phone go off, he could feel his heart swell even before he pulled it out, because some sixth sense within him just knew that it was Sierra, and the thought made him grin. Pulling his phone from his pocket, he pulled up her message, though his brows furrowed when he saw the music box. It was a cute gift, but Calum definitely hadn’t chosen that to gift her - he had chosen something, of course, but he hadn’t ordered it in time for it to beat him home, it wasn’t even supposed to arrive until that weekend. Sorry, babe, that’s not from me. It’s cute and everything, but I haven’t picked out anything like that. I love you, though, and I can’t wait to see you. I’ll be home in no more than, maybe, ten or fifteen minutes. Cuddle day when I get there to make up for the fact that I didn’t get that one for you? But, he did wonder who had. He didn’t think too much about it, of course - they’d gotten fan gifts before, from fans who’d discovered their address leaked online, so he figured maybe that was what had happened, and he couldn’t blame anybody who would want to spoil Sierra. But, of course, he wasn’t about to let anybody beat him in spoiling her.

Letha grinned when she got the first text, her heart swelling at the picture. I can’t wait to see you when you get to the house! After sending the text, she peered down when she heard dog paws against the kitchen floor and she grinned as she peered down, spotting Petunia trotting in. “Hey, there, sweetie,” she whispered, kneeling down to cup the dog’s face before she kissed the top of her head and stroked her head affectionately. “I bet you can’t wait for Daddy to get home, hm?” And, when Petunia barked happily, her tail wagging, Letha couldn’t help but to laugh, convincing herself that Petunia understood exactly what she was saying. She blinked, though, when she realized she had another text and, standing, she peered at her phone, arching a brow at the text. That’s weird. How long until you’re home? Petunia misses you! And so do I! And, quickly, she knelt back down with Petunia, hugging Petunia close with one arm and she pouted over-dramatically as she snapped the picture of herself with Petunia before she sent it to Luke. For a moment, the jewelry box was forgotten but, when she stood back up fully, she examined the box, surprised that there was no return address - but, she pushed the box aside, because she couldn’t use the jewelry box when it wasn’t from Luke, not when it was heart-shaped. It didn’t feel right.

Sierra read Calum's text and frowned, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion as she glanced over to the music box, feeling her stomach drop. The gift was beautiful, of course it was, but she sincerely hoped that their address hadn't been leaked online again. Leaving the music box on the dining table, Sierra sat on the couch, grinning as Duke jumped onto her lap, curling up instantly. Oh! God, I hope our address hasn't been leaked again, I think the neighbours hated us for weeks. I love you too baby, hurry your ass home! But uh, someone beat you to the cuddling... And with that, Sierra snapped a quick photo of Duke, curled up on her lap and sleeping soundly, sending it to her boyfriend with a grin, forgetting about the music box momentarily as she tickled Duke's ears, looking forward to seeing Calum after too damn long. All Sierra wanted was to hold her lover close, and make the most of him being home. I can't wait to have you back, baby. It's been too damn long since I've seen you, heard your voice.

Luke received Letha's first text, smiling with just the sight of her name on his phone screen. He'd missed her so much, Luke couldn't even verbally express it, because every time he thought about being away from her, his heart dropped to the pit of his stomach, but knowing that he wasn't far from reuniting with the love of his life, Luke grinned, biting his lip as his heart began to soar again, opening the text she'd sent. I'm about ten minutes away! I can't wait to see you, oh my God. And when Luke sent the text, he couldn't help but think about the jewellery box once more, wondering who it could of come from. Frowning with the thought of a breach in their privacy. Maybe it was their next door neighbour's teenage son, he harboured a bit of a crush towards Letha - Luke would have to ask. It was odd, it really was. Shrugging it off, Luke looked down to his phone as he received another text, his heart pounding excitedly in his chest because Letha always had the ability to do that to him - Luke had never considered himself to be someone who'd fall head over heels in love, but dammit, Letha helped him tumble down and he loved every moment. Seeing the photo, Luke felt his heart jump in his chest and he grinned. Look at my girls, my pride and joy, the both of you. Not long now, love, I promise! and Luke had been so distracted by texting that he hadn't notice the Uber pull up outside the home he shared with Letha. Grinning, Luke thanked his driver and climbed out with his luggage. Walking up the garden path, Luke rang the doorbell to be teasing. "Hello?" He called with a grin. "Delivery for Miss Letha Bryant?"

Calum tried not to think about the possibilities and concerns that Sierra brought up, because the last thing he wanted was for Sierra to feel unsafe in their home. I’ll be there before you know it, babe. And we can do whatever you want, spend the day however you want, and just focus on the two of us spending time with each other and enjoying being near each other again. He smiled as he sent the text and, when they arrived at his home, he thanked the Uber driver and climbed out of the car, grabbing his things before he headed up to the door. Unlocking the door, he grinned, his heart racing with the knowledge he’d be seeing the love of his life in just mere moments. “Did somebody order a boyfriend?” he called out.

Letha smiled slightly as she read Luke’s words, her heart easing and her mind steering away from the odd box. Regardless, she focused on texting her boyfriend, sitting with Petunia and petting the dog as she replied. I can’t wait to see you, I’ve missed you so much. It feels like it’s been forever. It always did - any time she had to part from Luke for any longer than a few hours, it felt like a part of her was missing. She blinked, though, lifting her gaze when she heard the doorbell, and grinned when she heard Luke’s voice. “Luke!” she called, certain he could hear her even with the distance and walls blocking them, and she quickly stood, rushing to open the door, throwing her arms around him the moment she saw him.

Sierra heard Calum's voice, giggling with his words as she stood to her feet, Duke on the couch beside her, quite offended that he had been discarded to the side. "I did!" Sierra laughed, rushing to the front door, her heart pausing in her chest when she caught sight of Calum, golden skin accentuated by the sun, dark eyes on her. "God, look at you." Sierra sighed dreamily, wrapping her arms around Calum's neck, pressing a kiss to his lips, the smell of his cologne just so intoxicating. "I missed you, baby."

Luke grinned as Letha threw her arms around him, and wrapping his arms around her middle, Luke lifted her from the ground and spun her carefully, burying his face into her neck, eyes closed in euphoria at the fact he was reunited with the beauty he called his own. "You are the best welcome home, ever." Luke murmured into Letha's skin, his grip around her tightening protectively. Blinking as he remembered, Luke pulled away, studying Letha to ensure that she was safe, and whoever had sent her that heart shaped jewellery box hadn't hurt her in any way. "Are you okay? Nothing strange happened since?"

Calum grinned against Sierra’s lips, lifting her up, his hands holding her legs as he wrapped her legs around himself, nipping at her lips playfully. “I missed you, too,” he murmured over her lips, pulling back to scan her features for a few moments, taking her in, and he pressed his forehead to hers gently. “Is everything okay? What’d you do with that weird gift? Nobody showed up, right?”

Letha laughed with Luke’s actions, and she buried her face against his neck happily. “I missed you so much, Lu,” she murmured against his skin before looking him over when he pulled away, scanning over him for anything she missed, any injury, any change, anything at all. Still, she smiled and shook her head. “No, nothing else happened, I’m okay. I’m sure it’s nothing.”

Sierra giggled as Calum gently nipped at her lips, and she sighed happily, nuzzling her face into his hair - although when he asked about the strange, but beautiful gift, she couldn’t help but feel a spike of anxiety rise in her chest. “It’s in the kitchen.” Sierra peered down at Calum with doe eyes then. “Nobody showed up, it’s probably just a one time thing.” she reassured, toying with her boyfriend’s dark curls.

Luke listened to Letha’s words carefully, his brows furrowing with concern as he nodded. “I can’t help but worry, baby.” Luke murmured into Letha’s shoulder, happy to have her in his embrace. “I don’t wanna have to fight anyone off and warn them that the most beautiful girl in the world is taken.” He grinned cheekily then, not wanting Letha to worry as he looked to her with nothing but love and adoration. “What matters the most is I’m home, and I get to spend time with my girls.” Luke pressed a kiss to Letha’s lips then.
