What Victoria was explaining to him, really confused him. Alex really had no idea how to reply to what she had just told him. So, instead of answering right away, he waited until they were on solid ground. As he didn't want to sound like he was making fun of her by his answer, although, he was just being honest.
"That sounds kinda gross. Warm jelly falling from the sky." Alen turned his head towards Victoria, a look showing that he wasn't quite sure on how he should be reacting to the information. "Um, we have something that's the opposite of that." He told her, keeping a hold of her hand as she stepped off of the elevator.
"It's called snow here, it only happened during winter on a cloudy day or night. White little puffs fall from the sky, but they melt quite fast if they touch something warm as they're just made of water." He explained, hoping that his explanation of snow would be good enough for her to understand.
Then, stopping in his tracks. Alex looked both ways before pointing towards a Chinese grocery store. "We have to go in there to get some bento flake to replace those sort of scales that you need. Then we can see if they have some kind of tea or medicine that had a strongly soothing effect." He told her, before starting to lead the way to their first destination.
