    moon.

Moon walked alone across the pedestrian bridge, listening to the sound of the cars pass underneath her. The end of the stick she carried beat against the small and reoccurring pillars of the bridge's barrier along the side. She had quietly left the house after listening to her parents fighting...again. Moon was an adult now, but she stayed in her parents home with the hope that it would keep them together. When she was around them, they put on a spectacular show of loving one another, of remaining committed and unified. When they thought she wasn't listening, they were fighting. Fighting about money, about that new woman her father works with, about dinner, about Moon, about him. She felt selfish about trying to keep them together, but her family had already lost so much.

She thought about her older brother, who would be 26 this year. He would tell her how to feel, what to do. He would encourage her to be strong. But he wasn't here, and he never would be. The reality sucked, but...it was still what it was.

Moon was across the bridge now, and she could now see the large open park that she was headed to. For as long as she could remember, this is where she came when things at home were rough. The park was beautiful, especially in summer, with soft green grass, trees littered throughout the landscape, sat at the edge of a decently sized lake. There was a playground with a tunnel she'd spent many nights sleeping in, and benches all around. She walked through the park, looking at the flowers that had just started to bloom this season, until she came up to the lake. It reflected a gray version of the sky, every cloud on the still surface with every detail. Sitting down on the bench, she looked beyond the lake to see another park like this one.
    yoongi.

Yoongi sat in the empty apartment he shared with Hea, mindlessly pressing the keys on his keyboard. He wasn't playing any song in particular, but didn't hate the melody that he had created. She went out somewhere, and Yoongi hadn't really cared to ask where, or even when she would be back. He hadn't cared about a lot of shit lately. With the hand he was pressing keys with, he reached to grab the open bottle of beer on the table next to the keyboard. This wasn't his first bottle today and it probably wouldn't be his last, but he didn't care.

Yoongi had given up on reflecting why he felt like this a long time ago. He'd struggled with depression his whole life, and as much as it had a presence in his life, he still didn't know why. What use would it be anyways?

The bottle, now empty, was thrown into a nearby trashcan, a heavy clank sounding as it hit other empty bottles. As Yoongi opened another bottle, he wondered if Hea left today because of him. He had been a nuisance lately, he knew that. He knew she hated seeing him like this, but he forgot how to cope; how to deal with his worst self.

A soft sigh escaped Hea's lips as she sat by herself at the tiny underground music venue, listening to some local hip hop artist, at she didnt recognize, perform from the small stage that had no barrier between the artist and the audience. Hea sipped her drink, trying to not think about Yoongi and the argument that they had two nights ago. Of course that was proven hard to when she was at the place that the couple first met and have shared so many memories together, and she was wondering what went wrong between her and Yoongi. Things were great for the couple, they were happy and so much in love with one another but all of a sudden that had all changed and now it seems like every other day are spent arguing over the same thing while feeling that they are drifting apart.

Pushing her now empty glass that was once filled with cola, Hea placed some cash to pay for her bill and leaving a nice tip for her server, before leaving the venue to head back to her shared apartment with her boyfriend. Walking along the streets as she headed back home, she continued to think about her relationship. She knew that Yoongi had struggled with depression for a long time and this flaw never bothered her or affected their relationship because she was usually able to help him fight it. However, Hea was no stranger to depression as she has struggled with it as well, but when she found music and Yoongi, she had been the happiest she's ever been. But she was wondering why wasnt she enough for him to be happy anymore.

Arriving back to the apartment, Hea leaned against the door frame to his studio, listening to Yoongi working his magic. She smiled softly hearing the beautiful melody that he was playing on the keyboard. She then removed herself from the door frame and moved closer to him. "Sounds great, babe." Hea complimented before pressing her lips to his cheek for a soft kiss, hoping that he would talk to her even if it was just one word. But her face faltered when he just shrugged her off and continued playing like she wasnt there, hurting her feelings in the process.
Taehyung stormed out of his parent's house, letting his feet lead him away from his abusive father who was now lying on the ground semi-conscious. He had to get away from the hell that he sadly called home, when he saw the frightened look on his battered mother face when she saw him have his hands around his father's throat, choking him with no remorse on his facial features. When he saw her face, it made him feel like he was no better than his father, but he wanted to show his Dad that it's not okay to put his hands on a woman, especially is mother.

Stopping to catch his breath after running off in the cold weather for fifteen minutes, Taehyung looked around to see where he was, sighing in relief that he was by the bridge near the park that he and his friends like to escape to when things got bad at home. He wiped the angry tears that had shed, not noticing them beforehand. "I'm nothing like that sad excuse of a man." Taehyung told himself as he leaned against the railing of the bridge he was on, letting the cool breeze hit his face. Once he was no longer angry, Taehyung shoved his hands into the pockets of his jacket and began to walk towards the park, wanting to sit on one of the swings.

"Taehyung-Oppa," He heard a small voice call his name. Taehyung stopped walking and looked over, smiling softly when he saw Moon was sitting on a swing while patting the seat of the one beside her. He tilt his chin up slightly in her direction before sitting down on the swing next to his friend. He saw the sad look that Moon was trying to hide from him. "Your parents again too, huh." He simply stated as he swung lightly. "I caught dad hitting my mom again, I ended up choking him but then I saw the scared look on her face. It almost made me feel like I was becoming like that bastard. But I'm not, I would never lay a hand on my mom or on any other woman." He blurts out, gripping the chain of the swing tightly.

    moon.

Moon debated on whether she should go home yet or not, but decided against it. Her parents' fighting could last for hours and she didn't want to be around for it. At this point, she was skeptical if she would even go home tonight, the only problem was she didn't fit in the tunnel on the playground anymore. Tired of looking at the still lake, she got up from the bench and started walking towards the playground, kicking empty patches of dirt on the way. While she walked, she took the hair tie from around her wrist, and put her hair up in a ponytail to keep her hair out of her face while she was on the swings. It was early into the school day, so the park was empty besides a few elders sitting on random benches. She sat down, now looking at the trees, but her mind was on her home life.

She felt sad that Jaeki was no longer here. She remembered sitting at the dinner table with her parents when her father received the phone call. Her only brother had been in a car accident, and they were unable to resuscitate him; the relationship between her parents had never been the same. Moon had never really been the same.

In the corner of her vision, she saw somebody walking down the pathway. She immediately recognized the solemn figure, with his hood up over his face and his hands stuffed deeply into the pockets of his black jacket. She admired him for a moment before deciding to call him over. "Taehyung-Oppa," her voice was fragile, just like she had felt. She could barely see his face when he looked over to her, but she could see him smile. Taehyung was the closest thing she'd ever have to a brother; they'd known each other for years, and more importantly, the hardest years of their lives. She patted the swing next to him, happy that he didn't hesitate before walking over. He had known immediately that something was wrong, despite the facade she covered her face in. He wasn't any better at hiding from her, either.

She listened intently as Taehyung explained what had happened with his father, but stared at the ground until he was done. She put her hand on his shoulder, trying to offer whatever comfort he'd take. "Your mother loves you more than anything in the world," she said after a moment of silence, "she knows you'd never hurt her. So do I. You're not a monster, you're doing what you need to do to protect them."

She loved him, she always had; but he didn't need some girl following him around head over heels, he needed a friend and she would always be there for him. She swallowed her feelings, the 'I'm so in love with you, Taehyung-Oppa' that always threatened the tip of her tongue. Instead, she was his friend.
    yoongi.

A few bottles of beer later, Yoongi started really playing his keyboard. It was a sad, soft melody that had no words. He wouldn't know what words to put to them, or what story he would tell with a song this sad. Would he lyricize about how his father left his mother when she became pregnant, and she gave up all of her dreams so that she could give him everything he wanted. How he felt like such a burden to the woman who raised him. He recalled growing up, hearing her crying alone in her room at night while he tried to sleep. Would he write about how he was so stubbornly hostile to Hea, who had done nothing but loved him. She stayed, through everything, but the only thing his mouth would do was push her farther and farther away. He fought back tears; no matter how sad, how depressed, he wouldn't cry.

He could sense Hea standing in the doorway to the studio, she didn't have a quiet presence, and every part of his body could feel when she was around. He didn't want to ignore her after she kissed him on the cheek, and lingered, waiting for him to say something, but it just happened. He didn't know what to say, and he figured saying nothing was better than saying something that could really hurt her. She walked away, leaving him alone as he resumed playing his sad song.

After a few moments passed, he let out a frustrated sigh and got up from his keyboard. He stumbled over to the bed where Hea was laying, earphones in her ears. Yoongi could tell how hurt she was; she wouldn't even listen to his music. He crawled into bed and pulled her into his arms. He took one of her earbuds out so she could hear him. "I drank too much," he said apologetically. She didn't say anything, she didn't even look at him. He felt he deserved that. "I'm not good for you," he breathed out the words.

    Taehyung.

Taehyung gave Moon a weak smile. "Thank you, I really needed to hear that." He said then reached over to hold one of her hands, giving it light squeeze. Although he hated his home life and almost just life in general, Moon was the only constant good thing in his life besides his friends. However, he and the guys haven't really seen or talked to each other in a while. It was safe to say that they had started to drift apart, doing their own thing, but Taehyung was sure that if they all got together in one place, things would pick up right where they left off. When it comes to Moon, it was different because they stayed in touch almost everyday. He couldn't go no more than two days without seeing Moon or hearing her voice over the phone. Deep down he loved the girl, but he knew that he wasn't in the right mindset to be in a relationship, but not only that, he didn't believe that he was good for her at least not romantically.

"Your turn," Taehyung spoke after a long pause of silence between them. "Are your parents fighting again?" He asked softly. He knew about the fights her parents continue to have after her older brother had been killed. But not only that, her parents seem to forget about Moon like she isn't still in their lives. It honestly pisses Taehyung that her parents did that because he knew that Moon had been feeling like she wasn't enough for them to still be happy, or that she even existed in their world.
    Hea.

"I'm not good for you. she heard Yoongi say. Sighing, Hea turned around to face her boyfriend, taking out the other earbud from her ear. "Yoongi, I love you...more than anything in this world, you should know that.."She paused, her hands to his cheeks. Although he already admitted to being drunk, she couldn't help but sigh sadly as she looked into his eyes, while tears slipped from her own. "Why am I not enough for you anymore?" The question that she had desperately wanted him to answer so that she can fix things between them, but Yoongi had yet to give her wish. Trying to hold in the sob that was threatening to slip through her lips, Hea lowered her finger tips down just far enough so that the pad of her thumb lightly swiped across his bottom lip. "You're my everything, but it's like you rather drink yourself to death and hurt the one person who really loves you, over and over. I just want to know what did I do to deserve this?"

Waiting a few moments, she was hoping to that Yoongi would just answer her for once and to be honest with her. She wanted to know if she was the problem or not, and if she was then Hea would do everything to fix herself so that she wouldn't be such a burden to him anymore. But that was if he would actually tell her.

Seeing that his eyes began to shut and then a light snore slip out from his lips, Hea instantly knew that he was asleep and that made her upset even more. Throwing the covers off of her, Hea got out of the bed now angry. She went into the living room after grabbing her phone and her earbuds and placed them on the empty coffee table before going to the linen closet to grab a pillow and a blanket and turned the futon that they had in the living room into a bed. Hea was too pissed to sleep in the same bed with her drunk boyfriend especially after she poured her heart to him just for him to fall asleep. Laying down in the couch, she shoved her earbuds in her ear and then picked up her cellphone and went to her music library and stopped at one of her songs that she was currently working on. It was a raw track as she would still need to add more parts and then mix the song to make it more clean, but it was enough to help her fall asleep.

Moon's heart began to race when Taehyung took her hand and squeezed it, as it always had any time he touched her. Any accidental graze of his fingertips, to every time he held her when she cried. He knew these gestures were out of friendship, but it was hard to keep her heartbeat from accelerating. She was brought back to reality when he prompted her to talk about what was going on at home. She averted her eyes away from his, simultaneously retracting her hand and placing it on the swing's chain. Kicking at the ground she was staring at, she took a deep breath knowing she didn't want to talk about it but also knowing she'd feel better after talking to him about it. "After his death, what we needed most above all was to be a family, but they just can't stop fighting," Afraid that she wouldn't be able to stop venting when she started, she tried to keep it short.

She knew Taehyung had a worse situation at home, and almost felt guilty about being sad about her family, but she couldn't really help it. "I miss him, and if he were here we wouldn't be falling apart. If I stay in that house, trying to keep them together, I might go crazy. I might have to move out and just let fate happen. Anyways, all I really need is..." not realizing she was rambling, she was thankful she was able to stop that sentence before she finished it. All I need is you. He would take it as kind words from his best friend, not knowing the full extent of the meaning behind him.

Not wanting to talk about this anymore, she shifted the topic to something more light. "When was the last time you saw your hyungs?" She looked at him again, resting her cheek on the chain. She had spent enough time with him to know that it had been a while.
    yoongi.

Yoongi had fallen fast asleep once Hea had started talking. Not only was he just not in the mood to listen to her cry about wondering what she had done to deserve this, his head ached from all the alcohol, and the room had started to spin. He needed sleep more than he needed to get into it with her, again. Still, he wish he knew that it would go down like this so he could have at least let Hea have the bed while he slept on the couch instead of the other way around. He still cared about her.

The next morning, Yoongi woke up with a splitting headache. His hangovers never really got easier, probably because he'd just drank more and more. Already knowing what would relieve his pain, he crawled out of bed and shuffled towards the kitchen. On his way, he saw Hea sleeping peacefully on the couch, and he immediately felt guilty about being an ass the past couple of days now that he was sober. He continued for the kitchen, disappointed to find there was no more alcohol in the fridge or the pantry. He looked back over at Hea, wondering what she was dreaming about, if she was even dreaming. He grabbed the eggs from the fridge and started making her breakfast, hopefully showing her that she was enough. No. She was more than enough.

When Yoongi had lost his mother, Hea had been there for him. He had always been afraid she went to her grave resenting him, even though he knew she loved him. Then, the more his feelings grew for Hea, the more he missed his mother. Lately, he had missed her so much that he couldn't stand being around Hea because she had given him the same love that his mother had.

He plated the food he'd made for her, and poured a glass of orange juice before walking it over to where Hea was sleeping. He placed it on the table so she'd see it when she woke up and kissed her on the forehead before retiring to the bathroom to take a much needed shower.

    Hea.

"Yoongi" her boyfriend's name slipped through her lips softly as she was in the middle of dreaming. This dream started out with her and Yoongi being so happy and so in love, just like in the beginning of their relationship, but soon it started to turn from a good dream to a nightmare. Yoongi is now drinking like he does now, but instead of his constant depression, its him yelling at her and calling her names and pushing her. Gripping onto the blanket that was covering her, soft whimpers now escaped her lips as the nightmare is becoming more dark. Yoongi had backed her up to the wall, slurring his words but still calling her every vulgar names in the book while he gripped her throat and moved her to the edge of their stairway of their home. A cynical laugh escaped from his lips as he tightened his grip on Hea's throat. "You're nothing but a worthless bitch." he said before pushing her off the edge of steps, having her fall to her death.

Gasping as she sat up quickly, Hea gripped onto her blanket by the end as she was trying to catch her breath. Hea has been having this dream turn into a nightmare for the past few days, waking up in a cold sweat and disheveled like she is now. She literally did not know why she could not make herself wake up before it got that bad, but every time she did, it took a few minutes for Hea to calm down.

After calming down, Hea smelled food and looked over to the coffee table nearby to see that there was a plate that had eggs, bacon, and toast with a glass of orange juice next to her. The food was still warm, so she knew that Yoongi cooked it recently. Hea let a small smile pull at her lips at the simple gesture, but she knew he only made her breakfast because he felt bad. However, she still ate the food he made for her since she was hungry, while she waited for Yoongi to walk back into the living room. The two of them needed to talk and she wasn't going to let him to keep dismissing her.
    Taehyung

Taehyung noticed that Moon had stopped herself from what she was saying and then changed the subject. He wanted to let her know that it was okay for her to speak her mind even if it was rambling, but he didn't want seem pushy. However, when she asked him about his friends, it was his turn to go silent. Truth be told, he hadn't seen nor spoken to his hyungs in a while. The seven of them had pretty much went their own separate ways.

"Its been a few months. We all just kinda went our separate ways." Taehyung answered sadly. He really did miss his friends and he wished that things could go back to the way they were when the seven of them could escape from their home life and be happy, for once in their lives, together. "I dont know what really ended the bond we had, but I know it had started out with Yoongi's drinking, causing him to start fights with all of us. I wonder if Hea-noona is still will him. Usually she was the one to calm him down besides Jin." He looked down at the ground, focusing on his beat up shoes, trying not to cry but a tear slipped from the corner of his eye. "I miss them. I was happier back then when I was hanging out with them all the time. But now that they are gone doing whatever and I dont have anyone but you Moon. You're the last bit of happiness that I have left in my life. I dont know what I would do if you end up leaving my life just like the others did. " Taehyung used his sleeves to wipe the corners of his eyes and sighed before facing Moon, who had a soft expression on her face. "But I know that friendship is on a two way street, so I know I need to work on being a better friend to you and being a friend in general."

Moon frowned at his words, sad that he had no idea just how amazing he was. To her, Taehyung was perfect; as a friend or otherwise. "You're the best friend anybody could ever have," she promised him, wiping the tiny wet streak that stained his cheek. She wanted to do something nice for him, maybe try to get all of his friends together and surprise him. She knew some of them well, like Oppas Namjoon and Hoseok, and her younger friend Jungkook. She knew Yoongi, Jin, and Jimin, just not as well. She'd been over the moon hearing that she played a major roll in his happiness, but also wanted him to be able to be happy in general. She was scared for him that he never would be.

"Isn't your birthday coming up, Taehyungie?" She asked, even though she knew. His birthday was locked in her mind, and she already knew what she wanted to do. She'd plan a surprise party at his favorite restaurant, with cake and presents, and she would try to get all of his friends together. She knew they all had their own stuff going on, but she could at least try. If they didn't see it as important, if they didn't see Taehyung as important, well, she'd be right there for him.

"You don't have to know what you'd do without me, because you'll never lose me." She held out her pinky to him, letting him know she was so confident about that, that she was willing to pinky promise on it.
    yoongi.

By the time Yoongi was done with his shower, Hea had been awake and eating the food he left out for her. "Good morning," he said, mustering up as real a smile as he could manage. "How did you sleep?" He hadn't heard her calling out in her sleep while he was in the shower, so he'd been hopeful she slept well.

"I was wondering if you wanted to do something today, like go see a movie, go to the park, something?" He wanted to try and fix his relationship with her. He couldn't promise that he would change, that he would be a perfect boyfriend. That he would stop drinking. That he would just be able to pull himself out of this depressed rut. He wished he could talk to her about what he was going through, and tell her that it wasn't her fault, but every time he tried, she seemed to make it about herself.

It was passed the stage of him wanting to talk about it, because talking wasn't working. Talking led to fighting, and fighting led to even more drinking and Hea distancing himself even more. Maybe if they just spent some time together, they wouldn't have to talk, and their relationship would magically fix itself.

    Hea.

Hea looked up when she heard Yoongi's voice speak to her, seeing that he was sitting in a chair front of her with the coffee table being the barrier between them. "I slept alright," she shrugged her shoulders. She knew that she was only lying to herself since she hadn't had a real good night sleep this week due to them arguing back and forth and not wanting to be near each other afterwards. Besides it wasn't like he cared anyway, well that's what it felt like to her. However, Hea was taken by surprise when Yoongi suggested that they do something together as a couple. She didn't know when's the last time they had actually hung out with each other, whether it was a date or just simply being in each other's company without actually fighting, but Hea really misses spending time with her Yoongi, the one she fell in love with.

A small smile appeared on her lips as she reached out to caress his cheek. "I would like that a lot. Maybe we can just stay in and rent some movies and munch on some snacks, you know just like old times." She suggested, remembering the times when they had stay at home dates.
    Taehyung.

Taehyung looked up at Moon, smiling weakly when her kind words, about him being the best friend she has, made his heart skip a beat. When she wiped the tear streak away from his cheek he really wanted to hold her hand in his and move her hand to his lips wanting to kiss it, but he didn't want to freak the girl out and lose the only friend he truly had, despite her saying that she wouldn't leave.

When Moon asked him about his birthday, all he could do was shrug his shoulders. It's been a while since he celebrated his birthday. He normally treats the day as a regular old day since his happier days were no longer existent. "It is, but it's nothing special. I don't even do anything for it anymore, not since the guys and I went our separate ways." He sighed, but then looked up at the sky, trying to blink away the tears that were still trying to form. "I just wish that even for one night that we can all get back together like old times and forget about the outside world just to be happy." He said and then let out a short laugh, not a happy or funny one but more like a 'get real bro' laugh.

Looking back at Moon a genuine smile was now on his lips. Although his life was pretty shitty, and that his friends left him, he still had Moon. Sure he didn't voice out his appreciation for her, although he should, but he knew that their friendship was a strong bond that wouldn't break. He finally let out a real laugh as he linked his pinky finger with hers. "And the same goes for you. You will never have to think a day without me. You won't ever be able to get rid of me."

Moon wanted to say more, to let him know how she really, honestly felt, but she kept it in. Not that she ever needed reminding, moments like this with Tae showed her why he was so special to her; there wasn't a day that went by where she didn't think of him, and she never wanted to get rid of him. Sometimes, she just wanted to speak up, be the light in his darkness; but she was scared he didn't feel the same, and she didn't want to risk their relationship becoming complicated because of how much went on at home.

She constantly dropped subtle hints so that he knew, if it was something that he wanted, she was there. "Good," she smiled at him, keeping her pinky entwined with his for a few moments befor letting go. Now that she'd seen him today, her parents didn't really matter. Even so, she wondered if they were still fighting. Instead of voicing her concerns, she got out of the swing, and got behind Taehyung to start pushing his swing.

"Oppa," she said, grabbing his attention again, "If you don't want to go home tonight, you could sneak in through my window like old times." She thought about all the sleepovers they had, just so he wouldn't have to be in the same house as his dad.
    yoongi.

"As long as I don't have to watch any romance movies," Yoongi made a face as he moved to sit down next to Hea, putting his arm over her shoulder and pulling her close to him. "Also, we have to get pizza, and panda express, and cold noodles." Did he dare try to restock his beer or Soju? He thought it would be best if he waited until tomorrow when she went to work and spare the argument.

He wanted today to be for Hea, and he knew his drinking would ruin it.

"I'll go grab the cold noodles, panda express and some snacks. You order the pizza and pick out the movies, and I'll be back shortly," he tucked his finger under her chin and pulled her face up to look at his, then leaned down and kissed her.

[Ahhh! I'm so sorry, I thought I had replied!]

    Hea

Hea couldn't help but smile and let a giggle slip past her lips as she saw the face that Yoongi made. It has been a while since she had seen him do that and it made her heart soar when he did. It was definitely one of the cute things that Yoongi did that she loved about him. "I promise I won't make suffer by watching a romance movie." She teased before pressing her lips to his cheek. Hea listened to him list the food he wanted to eat during their stay at home date, which made her smile more. "Yes, all of that sounds good. Meat lover pizza sounds good?" She asked, although she knew that he was going to say yes. Feeling his lips pressed against hers in a kiss, Hea didn't want him to pull away since it's been a while since he display any kind of affection towards her, so she really missed the simplest of touch from him. When he pulled away, she couldn't help but let out a small whimper, but she knew that he needed to pick up the cold noodles and panda express while she needed to put the pizza order in. "Don't take too long, babe." She said before quickly pressing her lips to his again and then let him go.
    Taehyung

Taehyung looked at Moon when she offered him a place to stay in her room, just like old times. He really didn't want to leave his mother alone, but the way she looked at him like he was a monster was still ingrained into his brain and it made him not want to go back home. "If you really don't mind, I would rather stay at your place. I'm not ready to go back home and face my parents." He said looking back down at the ground, tugging on his bottom lip. Of course he knew that Moon would be okay with him crashing for the night in her room, just like he knew that she would do anything for him. She was a genuine soul and she goes out of her way to care for him, it is that reason why he makes sure to not ruin their friendship because he needs her. He may have ruin his friendship with the guys, but Moon meant so much to him, more than he realizes now.

    moon.

Moon's breath hitched as she watched Taehyung tug on his lip, and quickly suppressed any feelings the sight had given her before her face could turn too red. It didn't necessarily help that they were talking about their newfound plans for Taehyung to stay in her room tonight. "Of course I don't mind, as long as you pick a good movie to watch this time," she jokes, a soft simper growing on her face. Truthfully, she didn't care if he'd picked the most boring movie in the world to watch, she was just happy she'd get to hang out with him like old times.

Either way, no matter what they did, she knew they'd have fun together. They would get through the whole night without her parents checking in on them once. She continued to push him, feeling goosebumps travel up her arms every time she touched his back.
    yoongi.

Yoongi stuffed his hands in his pockets as he walked down the street to get them food and snacks. To be honest, he was a little nervous. It had been a while since he'd hung out with Hea sober, or at all really. He knew he still cared about her, but love? Did he still love her? Of course he did, he was just so busy suppressing all of his other feelings that the ones he had for her got caught in the crossfire. He was drowning in himself and he forgot how to swim.

He knew he was only a couple more random dates away from her leaving him for good. Part of him was scared about it, but the other part of him knew she'd be better off without him - with somebody better.

    Hea.

Hea ended the phone call after making the pizza order before making her way to the living room to find a movie to watch. Searching through the various movies that the couple had, Hea could help but be nervous for their date night in. Hea couldn't remember the last time the two of them had gone on a date. Ever since Yoongi had started his drinking habit, it was like he had just shut her out of his life. Although she loves Yoongi, she was not sure if her love for him was reciprocated and she was terrified that it was going to reveal itself during their date. Letting out a sigh, Hea picked a movie that had a lot of action and was comedic, but had just a touch of romance that she hope would put Yoongi in the mood to please her since she also misses his touch.
    Taehyung.

Taehyung let a real smile pull on his lips, although it was small. He knew that she was playing around with him, but it was that sweet, playful attitude of hers that made him not sad and depressed. It was why he actually tries to do anything and everything to keep Moon in his life because she brings that joy out of him even when he is at his lowest. "I promise I won't pick a crappy movie this time." He said as a small laugh escaped his lips. He stopped himself from swinging and stood up, reaching his hand out forward for Moon to take. "Ready to go?"

For a moment, all Moon could do was stare at Taehyung. For as long as she could remember, he was expressive with touch throughout the entirety of her friendship, but she couldn't deny how it made her feel. Hell, she couldn't even remember exactly when she had fallen for him, but ever since then, small gestures like a hug, or holding his hand out to her, caused butterflies to erupt in her stomach. Even though it was not reciprocated, it was still a nice distraction from her reality; the constant fighting of her parents, and her long gone brother.

What advice would you have for me, Jaeki?

Realizing how long she'd been staring at his outstretched hand, his long fingers waiting to envelop hers, she hastily grabbed it, hopeful that he wouldn't notice her sudden shift in attitude. She didn't want to be sentimental, she wanted to be there for her friend who suffered from a home life much worse than hers. "Do you think we can watch a drama, or even a romance?" Moon questioned sheepily, "I have a feeling this tragic feeling isn't going to subside any time soon." She huffed, knowing that despite their efforts to have fun, the gloominess would linger.

This was their reality, no matter how much she tried to escape it. No matter where they were, or what they did, their tragic histories would always stick around to haunt them.
    yoongi.

If Yoongi were to be honest with himself, he was nervous about this promptu date with Hea. He had changed, that was no secret. Anybody that had known him long enough could see that, and it was why most of them hadn't stuck around. Hea was the only one, and he was nervous that he'd do something to fuck it up more tonight. First, there was his constant need to drink; it was as if he couldn't concentrate without a bottle in his hands, already having a headache from not drinking today. Second, it felt like Hea disapproved of his every action.

He wasn't good enough for her, anymore.

So, wanting to avoid the crippling nerves, he took his time while he was out. Hands full of everything he'd intended to grab tonight, he slowly walked back to the apartment, stopping a little longer when he was crossing the roads, taking an extra precaution that there were absolutely no cars coming. Who was he kidding? This part of town was practically empty at the time of night. Once he arrived to the building, he slumped down on the stairs, wondering what he'd be walking into. He always wondered how their next interaction would go, since it almost always ended in a fight. He couldn't even remember the last time they'd slept in the same bed.

He knew he had to get his shit together, before he lost the women he loved because he had some unresolved daddy and mommy issues. More than that, he had so many self issues. If only the woman knew that she was the only thing he loved, not even being able to look at himself in the mirror most days. Feeling bad for keeping her waiting, he stood back up, grabbing all of his bags, and made his way up to the apartment.

    Hea.

Hea heard the door to their apartment open and closed before footsteps moved closer to where she was. She got up from her seat from the kitchen table and went to meet Yoongi by the living room. "Hey" she said softly and went to help him with the bags as he grabbed a ton of snacks and drinks, plus the cold noodles and panda express. "The pizza was just delivered not too long ago. Why don't you go set up the living room while I pour the snacks into some bowls." She suggested, kissing his cheek while she took the bags with the snacks and went to the kitchen. She quickly poured the various of snacks that Yoongi bought and poured them into separate bowls then made a couple trips to the living room to drop them off onto the coffee table.

Returning to the living room with the pizza boxes, she saw Yoongi was already sitting on the couch with his arm lazily draped behind the cushions. Hea placed the pizza boxes on the last bit of available space on the coffee table before putting the movie that she picked out earlier. She walked back to the couch and sat in between Yoongi's legs, having her back rest on his chest. Hea smiled instantly when she felt her boyfriend's arm draped around her waist. She moved her head slightly as she placed light kisses on the underside of his jaw.

"So I kinda lied about not picking a romance film," Hearing him groan, Hea couldn't help but let out a soft giggle. "Okay it's mainly an action film, but there are like two small romantic scenes in it. So I figured it wouldn't be a big deal." She admitted, kissing his jaw once more before pressing play to start the movie.
    Taehyung

Taehyun smiled and nodded at the Moon's request. "Of course we can. We can watch both, but I would watch anything with you." He told her sheepishly, intertwining their fingers together. Although it may seem like a friendly gesture, Any skinship that Moon allows him to have always makes his heart flutter. He knew he was aware of his feelings for her and knew that they weren't reciprocated, but he was glad that the girl never rejected him. "But can we watch a comedy afterwards? I don't want to be sad for too long." He said as they walked in the direction to her home. Although, Taehyung has a miserable life as he constantly battles with abuse from his father, depression, and anxiety, being with Moon always made him forget about those things and be happy even for short amount of time.

As they walked towards her home in silence, Moon's words were haunting Taehyung's thoughts. All he ever wanted in life was to be genuinely happy. Or at least have more happy days and things going right in his life for once. He didn't understand why he God or whatever is out there was punishing him, when all he ever try to do was be positive even in the worst situations.

"Not just any comedy, I'll put on a comedy show just for you," she promised, scrunching her nose up at him.

Moon wished the walk back to her house could be longer, not only so she could spend more time holding hands with Taehyung, but so she just didn't have to be home. On days like today, she wished that she could just sleep in the tube at the park. Already, she felt embarrassed about the fighting that she was sure was going on at home; the only reason she would still sneak Taehyung into her room was because she knew his situation was much worse, and he already knew about it. Any other friend she's had has never stepped foot inside of her home.

Feeling sweat pool up on her palm, she wasn't exactly sure who it belonged to, but she had the foreboding feeling that it was hers. Reluctantly, she shifted her hand to try and create some air flow, hoping that Taehyung hadn't noticed. Seeing him look down at her, she smiled awkwardly in the other direction before clearing her throat. Why was she like this? After knowing each other for so long, why couldn't she just act normal?

To take her mind off of what she thought was an awkward situation, she began thinking about the movies she had at home. A few of the obvious ones, of course; the Notebook, About Time, the Proposal, etc. Such dramatic movies, yet she felt the problems Taehyung and her had were much worse. Would she ever even be able to do something normal, like have a relationship, or finding her forever?

"Taehyung?" She asked as her mind wandered aimlessly, not thinking about how her question may be interpreted, "Do you think we'll ever get married?"
    yoongi.

The moment Hea slipped between his thighs, Yoongi no longer cared about the movie in front of them; he knew he wouldn't be able to pay attention, and if she hadn't said anything, he probably wouldn't have even noticed any of the scenes. Once she was done planted kisses along his jaw, he leaned forward and nuzzled his head into the crook of her neck, heavily breathing in her scent.

She smelt like home to him.

Using her fingertips, he gently brushed the red locks that cascaded down her back to the side, allowing access to her skin. As his hands found her waist, his grip slightly tightened, placing his lips along her neck and dragging them up towards her ear. "Why don't we make our own romance scene?" He suggested, the pounding of his head now longer bothering him. His hands slipped underneath her shirt, the pads of his fingers feathering up her soft skin. A simper spread across his mouth as he felt her goosebumps rise from his touch. As always, her body reacted so gracefully - so perfectly - to him. If only she also knew the effect she had on Yoongi.

Truth be told, he was half afraid he would decide to reject them, likely having her heart set on watching this movie with him. Still, he didn't care; the moment she'd gotten close to him, his body craved her. She was the only thing that he needed more than Soju.

    Most of the time.

    Hea.

Hea was surprised when Yoongi suggested that they have their own fun. She couldn't remember the last time they had been that intimate, but Heya wasn't going to let this opportunity to feel him inside her slip away. She removed herself from Yoongi, but turn around and dipped her head down enough to kiss him. She felt his tongue graze her bottom lip, asking for permission to explore her mouth with her tongue, which she granted. Their tongues danced together in harmony, letting her moans become muffled while his fingers roamed against her skin. She missed this and being intimate with him, and not wanting waste anymore time, Hea broke their little makeout session and got up from the couch. Walking in the direction of their bedroom backwards, Heya curled her index finger back and forth, motioning her boyfriend to follow her. "I want you." She said softly with a wink before turning around, hoping that Yoongi would follow behind.
    Taehyung.

Taehyung was surprised by her question. He wasn't sure if she was asking about the two of them getting married together or just in general. However, he has thought about what it would be like being with Moon and them being married to each other. He imagined how bright and colorful their wedding would be and them sharing their love for one another to their which would only be the guys and her brother Jaeki. But since Jaeki is dead and his friends don't talk to him anymore, that dream wedding would never come true. However, even with a shitty example of a marriage from his parents, he still had hope to get married one day and hopefully it would be to Moon.

"I believe that we will find our perfect match and get married. We may not have the perfect example to show it, but I believe that everyone deserve love and a good marriage. Besides, any man would be lucky to have you the love of their life. You're an amazing person all around." He told her and gave their fingers a light squeeze, hoping to ease her worries away.

"I think I already found my perfect match," she grumbled lowly, albeit still audibly.

    It's you, Kim Taehyung.

That's why his words, although nice, were still painful to hear. Any man would be lucky, he had said. Any man but him, that was how she felt. Who was she kidding, anyways? She'd spent so much of her life living in a fantasy world, that reality always seemed to hit her dead in the face. Constantly, she wondered just why she yearned for rejection by Taehyung over and over again? As much as she passively tried to confess her feelings, the more he passively seemed to dismiss them. All of the hints were there, so why couldn't she just pick up on them and let the poor boy be.

Perhaps it was because she'd spent so much of her life receiving heartbreak after heartbreak, that she just hoped for something - for somebody - to bring her love and happiness. Taehyung had always been that for her, by default, the sunlight she so desperately needed.

Even though her chest ached, she couldn't find it in herself to be upset with him. He was her best friend, and it's not his fault he felt the way he did. It would be cruel of her to think that, so instead, she leaned into him as they walked, cherishing the feeling of being near him, but still longing to feel his warm arms wrap around her with comfort. In time, maybe, but for now, she could live with this.
    yoongi.

Heat flooded throughout Yoongi's chest, something that didn't happen very often. At least, not lately. He half expected Hea to reject him, assuming she felt as if all he wanted was to have sex versus spending platonic time together. When she began beckoning him to the room they shared, he felt like a teenage boy all over again. Completely mesmerized by the amazing women, and her bold declaration to him, he had completely forgotten about the movie as he jumped up and tripped over the coffee table that was still packed with untouched food. Even after causing a whole bowl of chips to fall to the ground and scatter, Yoongi still paid it no mind as he quickly followed after Hea.

By the time he got inside their room, she hadn't even reached the bed yet, making it easy for Yoongi to grab her underneath her ass and hoist her over his waist. Not wasting any more time, he captured her soft lips with his own desperate ones as he crawled onto the bed, still holding on to her. Slowly, he placed her down on the bed and lifted his t-shirt over his head, abandoning it on the ground. Once he re-introduced their lips, his fingers began to crawl up Hea's thigh, reluctantly meeting with the fabric of her shorts. Feeling a painful impatience with how much clothes they still had on, he took a moment to relieve the girl of the article of clothing, and slipped both of his hands underneath her shirt as he began to harshly kiss her again. Tongues dancing, he slowly started unbuttoning the front of her shirt, revealing the cute lacey bra she wore underneath. With a boyish grin, he stared down at her covered breasts, admiring the body of his beautiful girlfriend.

Why had he been so neglectful of this? Of her?

Feeling regretful, he knew he had to make it up as much as he could in this moment, so he began to trail sloppy kisses between her breasts towards her belly button. As he slightly nipped the skin, he tugged her panties down, making eye contact with her as he revealed her wet center. "How bad do you want me, baby?"
