I'm Fine

Nari struggled with the restraints keeping her tied up to the pole, trying not to start freaking out. She couldn't imagine what anybody would want with her, but she didn't want to stick around to find out. However, trying to free herself had proved impossible; they weren't budging and she was just creating wounds around her wrists as the cables dug into her skin. A few tears escaped her eyes; tears of frustration, and of fear. Did anybody even realize she was missing?

She heard a door open, and heavy footsteps walking down the stairs into what she assumed was a basement, and a familiar face appeared. "Kwungwon?" her eyebrows knitted together in confusion. Why did Solar's ex-boyfriend kidnap her?

Yoongi put his earbuds in as he started walking to Jin's place, excited for food. Maybe even a little excited to see Solar. He was confused about everything that was going on, but at least when he sat down with them, it would create some normalcy. Plus, on the way back he could pick up some beer and some Soju before working on his music. The walk wasn't too long, and he was there in maybe 15 minutes. Not bothering to knock, he walked in to see Solar and Jin eating together, and sat down at a full plate of food.

"What's up?" he asked, smiling at the two.

Kwungwon looked at Nari with a smile. “I need your help, Nari.” He said, approaching her. “I want Solar back and I need your help to get her to come back to me.” He said, caressing her face. “Can you help me?”

“Just waiting for everyone to show.” Solar smiled at Yoongi. Pretty soon the front door opened and Jimin, Hoseok and Jungkook walked in, helping themselves to food.

Nari cringed away from Kwungwon as he reached up to touch her face. "Solar Unnie will never get back together with you," Nari tried to muster up courage, but couldn't because honestly, she was scared. Who knew what he would decide to do if she didn't help him? Still, she wouldn't. She recalled all the times that she saw her friend with bruises all over from his abuse.

"Jin Hyung," Yoongi turned his attention to Jin, "I was thinking of cooking for everybody at the restaurant after closing hours, as well as your parents to thank them for the job," he explained, hoping Jin would be all for it. He could see a smile light up on Jin's face.

"Only if you let me help! I'll be the assistant chef," he smiled as he picked at food on his plate.

Kwungwon sighed, “I figured you’d say that.” He said as he moved away from Nari, trying to figure out what exactly was his next plan of action. He didn’t want to hurt Nari but now he was backed into a corner.

“Oooh when is this going to happen?” Jimin asked, already excited for the food. “Yeah, Yoongi hyung, when?” Jungkook also asked:

"If you just let me go, I won't tell anybody about this," Nari promised. Who would even believe her, anyways? She was just a stray kid with two dead parents. She'd probably never amount to anything, everybody knew that. The more she thought about it, the more she realized that nobody would really care if she disappeared and never came back. She thought about Tae, who'd probably think she ran away and abandoned him.

"I'd like to do it this weekend," Yoongi offered, "If that's okay. What do you think, Solar?" he turned his attention back to her.

Kwungwon sighed, “I can’t do that, how can I trust you won’t tell?” He aksed, moving back in front of her. “You could be lying to me, just like Solar did.” He said, glaring down at her.

Solar nodded, “sounds perfect.” She said and looked up as Tae and Namjoon came through the door. Tae looked worried, “Tae, what’s wrong?” Jimin asked. “We can’t find Nari, we went to the hideout and she wasn’t there and she’s not picking up her phone.” Joon explained.

Nari looked up at Kwungwon and grimaced, "Solar never lied to you. She's a lot of things; a great friend, loving, loyal, trustworthy, but she's not a liar. Neither am I." The truth was she would absolutely go right to the police and tell them. She'd turn Kwungwon's stupid ass in, in a single heartbeat. "Please just let me go."

"That's weird," Yoongi said. He'd known Nari for a long time, and she'd never done anything like this.

"It could be because of her mom," Jin thought out loud.

"What about her mom?" Hoseok asked as he picked at his plate.

"Nari found her dead yesterday," Jin still seemed to be in thought, "Knowing Nari, though, she's probably okay."

Kwungwon looked at her, “why should I? So you can go rat me out?” He asked, approaching her again.

(I don’t know if you want him to hurt her or let her go now?)

“What?!” Everyone seemed to say at the same time.

“Well, where the hell could she be?” Taehyung asked.

“We should go look for her, just in case she’s in trouble.” Solar said as she got up.

"Even if I don't rat you out, this won't end well for you," Nari spat, tired of playing these games. If he was going to do something, she wished he would just do it already so she didn't have to anticipate anymore. The anger in Kwungwon rose up, and the last thing she saw was the bottom of his boot before everything had gone completely dark.

Yoongi was walking down the street with Solar, looking for Nari. They'd all split up to cover more ground. "Do you think maybe she just ran away?" he asked. If he was being honest, he didn't really think anything was wrong.

A frustrated Kwungwon emerged from a dark alley, blocking their path. He seemed surprised to see Yoongi and Solar; hopefully he didn't have intentions of cornering them. Yoongi peered down at Kwongwon's balled up fists, noticing blood on his knuckles.

Solar was surprised to see Kwungwon and when she noticed the blood on his hands, she moved behind Yoongi slightly. “Kwungwon, you haven’t seen Nari have you?” She asked carefully. He looked pissed and she didn’t know if it was because he was seeing Solar with Yoongi, even though she had a good idea it was. Kwungwon was always accusing her of having a fling with Yoongi when they were dating, even though she never did.

Kwungwon's eyes darted around, looking like he was caught red handed. "W-why would I have seen that bitch?" He darted off, leaving Yoongi alone with Solar.

"He's up to something," he said, taking his phone out and turning on the flashlight, "I'm going to find out. Are you coming?" He started heading down the alleyway, finding a trace of where he might have come from.

Solar nodded and followed behind Yoongi. She also pulled her phone out and turned the flashlight on, looking around as they walked.
