Fred laughed with the words his twin spoke, pretending to shiver in Honoria's presence. "Definitely feel the chill, mate!" But he soon focused back on Honoria, wondering if her intentions were as true as she claimed. "I agree with Georgie on this one, after all, there's nothing more a Gryffindor likes than laughing at a Slytherins pain, past or present student." He winked teasingly. Hearing Ashton though, Fred grinned when the younger boy joined them. "Now, now, Irwin, off you go!" Fred grabbed Ashton's shoulders, directing him to his friends. "Don't want to be late for Divination, this is big person talk, you've got a lot of growing to go yet, off you trot!" Fred smirked, patting Ashton's head, quickly joining George and Honoria once more, his back to the younger group of friends. Looking to Honoria, Fred smirked. "Leave it with us, we'll meet you here after your lesson. Price is negotiable for when the deed is done." Fred looked to George with a grin. "Pleasure doing business with you, Honoria."

Ashton groaned as Fred pushed him back towards Elise and Isadora. "You're not being fair!" He debated, roughing his blonde curls back up as Fred patted his hair, frowning deeply. Folding his arms across his chest, Ashton stuck his tongue out at the twins behind their backs, shaking his head as his arms folded across his chest. Looking towards his friends, Ashton raised his eyebrows. "Something fishy going on there, for sure." He confirmed, blissfully ignorant to Honoria's plans to defend him and his friends. Wrapping an arm around Isadora and Elise once more, Ashton's gaze fell to Honoria, and he swore that he could still smell her perfume lingering in the air around him, and he couldn't concentrate on anything but the beauty, considering himself lucky that she existed in his timeline, and even if she didn't want him to, he existed in hers. Exhaling, Ashton guided Elise and Isadora away from the scene, wondering what Honoria was up to - not only was she meddling with the two biggest pranksters in school, she was meddling with people who were considered blood traitors - wasn't that what was so frowned upon? Wasn't that why Honoria and Ashton just couldn't be friends, or more? Frowning with the thought, Ashton pulled away from his friends and led the way up the Divination tower steps silently.

Noah nodded with Felix's suggestion, grinning as he adjusted his textbook underneath his arm. "Sounds like a plan, mate." He confirmed, deciding silently to himself that if he had Elise on his arm, he'd be the luckiest man in school, because he had the most beautiful girl in school. Snorting with laughter, though, with Luke Hemmings' words, Noah glanced at the boy. "You really are jealous, aren't you?" Noah taunted easily. "Like those two would go for boys like you." Noah smirked. "Why would they, when all you do is talk to them like they're nothing but dirt on the floor?" Noah smirked, his intentions cruel. "So shut your mouths and learn to live with it." And with that, Noah followed Felix into the classroom, sitting down at the table beside Felix's, Elise's and Isadora's, one he shared with Ashton and Nerissa. "Game on."

Isadora heard Elise beside her, shrugging her shoulders lightly as she tried to eavesdrop on the conversation. "No idea." She looked to Elise then, offering the girl a small smile. "Fred and George aren't silly, Elise. They wouldn't do a deal that would harm you." Isadora promised, laughing as Ashton was practically pushed on his heel, by Fred, back to the group. "We get the hint, we're leaving." Isadora promised, holding her hands up in defeat as Ashton leaned upon herself and Elise again, but noticing that her friend was more silent than usual, Isadora frowned, feeling the tension, the discomfort, and deciding not to push him on it. Following him up the steps to Divination, Isadora saw the classroom door open and followed Ashton inside, her gaze instantly noticing Calum, sat at the table in the very back, scowling as always. Isadora looked to him for a long moment, wondering why he seemed so... upset... before sitting at her usual table with Felix and Elise, Noah and Ashton to her right. "Hi, Felix." She greeted easily, placing her textbook on the table. "Good morning so far?"

The more Luke listened to Noah speak, the more the acid in his stomach churned, causing him to feel sick. The thought of Elise in Noah's arms, kissing Noah's lips, holding Noah's hand made Luke want to grab the boy by the neck and dangle him from the highest tower, have him beg for mercy before dropping him to the ground. Feeling his fingers curl into fists at the thought, Luke repeated the word jealous in his mind, and he wondered if he was as obvious as Felix and Noah had made him out to be. "Good luck getting Elise to agree to touch you, you slimeball." Luke retorted through gritted teeth, knowing if he was that obvious, Elise would of noticed by now. She wasn't stupid, god, she was far from it. "You're lucky I don't kill you now, Noah, really." Luke warned, shoving Noah out of the way as Luke headed into the classroom, collapsing into his chair, in between Honoria and Calum, a scowl permanent against his features, but despite the hard exterior, Luke felt his heart break in his chest, accompanied by an odd burning sensation behind his eyes. "I hate him." Luke muttered, glaring at the back of Noah's head.

Nerissa smiled up at Michael with adoration, squeezing around him gently, but upon hearing his words, Nerissa laughed, ducking her head. "Of course I have a good point, Michael, who else is there to keep you from doing something stupid?" She teased, her fingers curling easily into the material of his Hogwarts sweatshirt. "What would you do without me?" Nerissa repeated with a laugh. "No idea, sweetheart. Probably be lost around the castle, a shadow of the man you once were." Nerissa laughed with the thought, shaking her head. Feeling Michael squeeze her hand though, Nerissa could admit, although to herself, that Michael's touch was the best thing in the world. Returning the squeeze, Nerissa rolled her eyes jokingly with Michael's dramatic words. "No sympathy, Clifford." She giggled. Approaching the Divination staircase, Nerissa looked to Michael. "Are you okay? Do you need to lean on me?" She watched the young Gryffindor carefully, her hand resting on his bicep.

Honoria watched the scene quietly, chewing on her lip with the fact that Ashton was leaving with his friends, her heart aching a bit at the sight of Ashton’s arms around Isadora and Elise. Dropping her gaze, she looked to the twins and nodded. “I’ll meet you both here, then,” she said eventually before she turned to head up to the Divination Tower quietly. She made sure to trail far behind the group, not wanting to really be near them at all right now. When she got into class, she quickly made her way to her seat, slipping into her chair. “Oi, I’ve got a plan,” she mentioned quietly to Calum and Luke before pausing when she saw their expressions. Her brows furrowed slightly as she examined them for a few moments, concerned. “What’s got you two so upset?”

Calum had followed Luke to their seats, his arms folded over his chest, a frown seeming to permanently settle on his features as he glared at Felix. “I know what you mean,” he muttered quietly in response to Luke’s words, “I just want Felix gone.” Scowling slightly, he sank down in his seat, his frown deepening when he saw Isadora sit with Felix, even though he felt his heart swell with the sight of her. At the same time, though, it twisted painfully, the jealousy he felt rushing through him in waves, because he couldn’t sit with her like that, and he hoped that Felix didn’t have her affection the way Calum wanted to. Looking to Honoria when she joined them, he arched a brow. “What for?” he asked with confusion before scoffing quietly, “Felix and Noah are serving to be a nuisance. They’re going after Isadora and Elise.”

Felix smirked to himself, enjoying the fact that he was getting under Calum’s skin so easily. He didn’t say anything more to the boy, though, deciding to instead focus on Isadora when he saw her come in, grinning as she and Elise sat down with him. “Good morning to you, too. So far, yes,” he assured her easily, “It’s even better now that you’re here.” Tilting his head, he nudged her gently, not bothering to hide that he was trying to flirt with her, though, at this point, he was also trying to annoy Calum. “How has your morning been?”

Elise listened quietly to her friends, hopeful that nothing too serious was happening, but she couldn’t help but to be curious. She couldn’t think of a single reason her brothers would associate with Honoria or any Slytherin, or vice versa. Settling her gaze ahead as they walked, she wondered where the tense atmosphere was coming from, but she tried not to think too much about it. As they walked into the Divination classroom, her eyes almost immediately searched for Luke, despite how hard she tried not to, and she paused with surprise when she saw the state he was in. He looked angry, upset, and she wondered what had happened, but she moved to join Isadora at their table, offering a nod of greeting to Felix.

Michael grinned slightly as he watched her, loving seeing her smile, loving hearing her laugh, swearing that she was the most amazing person to ever exist. “Exactly. I need you, love,” he teased her lightly, nudging her happily, but he grinned broadly with feeling her fingers curled into his shirt, loving the contact between them, how natural and right it felt. “Ooh, ouch. But, admittedly, you’re probably right.” And, he couldn’t help but to laugh at the thought, though he truly did believe that she kept him on the right track, that he would be completely lost without her. “Oh, that question sounds like there’s plenty of sympathy.” He winked teasingly, though he grinned broadly, examining her for a few long moments. “If you’re offering to let me lean on you, I’m definitely gonna take you up on it.”

Luke's attention was so easily captured when Elise crossed the threshold, and Luke swore that the room seemed to brighten in the most heavenly way with her presence. Staying silent as his eyes followed the red-head's movements, Luke toyed with his lower lip anxiously, just waiting for Noah to make his next move. Running a hand through his short curls, Luke settled back as Honoria sat down, looking to her with raised eyebrows. "Plan?" Luke repeated. "What is it?" He questioned, leaning forward a little bit so nobody could overhear, his elbows resting on his knees, hands clasped together. When Honoria asked what was the matter, Luke had to physically bite his tongue to stop himself hexing Noah, and he looked to his friend once more, although, he already missed Elise being in his direct line of sight. "Noah wants to ask Elise on a bloody date." Luke scowled. "They're doing it on purpose, they know we're jealous, the slime balls." Luke looked to his wand, beside the crystal ball. "Do you think I'd get into a lot of trouble if I made Noah's hair fall out?"

Isadora opened her text book as she sat in her seat, and she swore, for a long moment, she could feel somebody watching her. Shifting in her seat a little, Isadora tightened the braid that her hair was in, rolling up the sleeves to her white shirt, smoothing out her skirt. As distracting as the gaze was, Isadora couldn't stop her mind from wondering to the scenario that was happening between Honoria and the Weasley twins, and she debated for a long moment if whether or not outright asking the Slytherin was a good idea - Isadora, quickly, decided that it wasn't. Hearing Felix's words though, Isadora listened to his words and offered him a smile. "I'm glad, Felix." Isadora confirmed. But when Felix told Isadora that his morning had gotten better because she was there, Isadora felt her cheeks heat up. "Oh..." She laughed though, when he nudged her, she smiled, ducking her head shyly. "My morning's been alright." She confirmed quietly.

Noah watched Elise's every move as she entered the classroom, and when he noticed that her gaze instantly fell to the back of the class, he wondered what could of possibly have caught Elise's interest - no way was it that idiot Hemmings boy. Straightening out his tie, Noah smiled at Elise as she sat down. "Good morning, Elise." He greeted happily, wearing that charming school boy smile that seemed to be trademarked to him. "How's your morning been, lovely?" He ignored Ashton as Ashton sat beside him, he didn't have any personal vendetta against the boy, but Noah was determined to make Luke as jealous as possible, to really get under his skin and hurt him in all the places he would really feel the pain.

Ashton walked into the classroom, watching as Trelawny fumbled about with a pile of books, a delicate crystal ball on top. "Let me help, Professor." Ashton stepped forward, taking a few of the books and placing the crystal ball on Trelawny's desk, ensuring it wouldn't roll off. When he turned to take his seat, Ashton's eyes immediately searched for Honoria, finding her at her usual table in the back of the classroom. Offering her a weak smile, despite his concern for her conversation with the Weasley twins, Ashton exhaled and took his usual seat beside Noah, listening to Noah speak to Elise and watching on with a mild amusement as the boy offered a smile to the red head. Raising his eyebrows, Ashton opened his text book, tucking his wand behind his ear with an almost professional twirl of the fingers, Ashton felt a longing in his chest, and he understood: seeing Honoria speaking to the Weasley twins made him realise that the possibility of Honoria being with anyone but him made his stomach twist painfully, his jealousy coursing through his veins. "Noah, do you want to swap seats? I'm not a messenger here, mate." Ashton shifted to trade places with Noah, instantly focusing on Trelawny to avoid looking over his shoulder.

Nerissa rolled her eyes jokingly with Michael's words, shaking her head in amusement. "Of course I'm right, Mikey, I'm a woman." She teased, gently taking his arm to place it around her waist for him to lean on her, in case he had injured himself further after the fall, and the adrenaline just hadn't helped him realise. "C'mon mischief, let's get to Divination so we can, you know, actually learn something." She teased, and although she couldn't admit it out loud, when Michael had told her he needed her, Nerissa's whole body could of ignited into warmth, because dammit, she loved this idiot, and she needed him by her side, more than he could ever understand. Wrapping her arm around him once more, Nerissa smiled up at Michael, loving the sight of his smile, the sound of his laugh. "Maybe I do feel a little sympathy..." Nerissa admitted.

Honoria listened to her two friends explain why they seemed so bothered and a small frown formed on her features as she settled her gaze on Felix and Noah, scoffing with the fact that they were talking to Isadora and Elise so freely. “Even if they could get a date out of those girls, we all know how dull they are. They’d bore those girls to death,” she pointed out quietly, trying to assure her friends quietly, “After all, those girls need excitement in their lives, not those losers.” Honestly, though, the fact that those two thought they could try to move in on Isadora and Elise annoyed even Honoria, because she knew how much Calum and Luke loved those girls, even if the girls themselves didn’t know it, and she wanted her best friends to be the ones to get the girls. From where she was, she watched Ashton help Professor Trelawney, her heart swelling at the sight, because Ashton was far too good of a person. She paused when she spotted Ashton’s weak smile and, for a moment, she wondered what was wrong, but she cleared her throat and focused on her friends. “I’m meeting the Weasley twins after class to get some Sugar Hexes. I’m gonna give them to your parents, pretend I stole them off some First Year,” she explained quietly, “I could ask for a few more, if you two really wanna hex Felix and Noah - best to avoid being obvious about it.”

Calum couldn’t tear his gaze away from Isadora, his heart clenching as he watched the way Felix interacted with her. Every fiber in his being, every atom in his body, wanted to march over and shove Felix away, hex him into the next century, but he knew he couldn’t. As he continued watching, though, his fists clenched while his arms were still folded over his chest and he hated that he couldn’t rush over and interrupt and tell Isadora everything she truly deserved to hear, everything he wanted her to know, before Felix could get his way. “I want to rip his head off,” he muttered quietly, his jaw clenching, “Or hex him to scramble his brain so he’ll shut up.” Scowling, he rolled his eyes before settling his gaze on Honoria and Luke, hating taking his gaze away from Isadora, but certain that he couldn’t bear to watch Felix flirt with Isadora, his heart aching in his chest, feeling as though it was being ripped to shreds and tugged at in every which way. “I’d rather Isadora not agree at all,” he admitted with a huff, sinking down into his seat a bit, hating that this was happening, hating that he couldn’t really do anything to physically stop it. He listened, though, as Honoria explained her idea and he blinked. “Count me in, for what they did to Isadora,” he said quietly, leaning forward against the table a bit, “Think they’d really give us Sugar Hexes to use against those two dolts?” He motioned to Felix and Noah discreetly, wanting to do something, anything, to get back at them, too.

Felix grinned as he listened to Isadora speak, leaning forward, closer to her, partly because he wanted to be nearer to her, but mostly because he wanted to annoy Calum more. “I’m glad to hear that,” he told her genuinely, his grin broadening when he caught her cheeks heating up, certain that it was a good sign, and wanting to keep that momentum going. “Hey, if you don’t mind, can I ask what you’re going to be doing this weekend?” He arched a brow, curious, hoping to lead up to the question he really wanted to ask her. “Will you be busy or anything?”

Elise settled back into her seat, trying to relax as much as she could, wanting to get her mind off how upset Luke had looked, but also wanting to focus on anything other than how the day had gone so far - from the awful morning they’d all had, to the interaction they’d witnessed between her brothers and Honoria, to Luke in the back of the room. Hearing Noah’s voice, though, she blinked as she peered at him. “Good morning, Noah,” she greeted, offering a weak smile as she nodded. She’d assumed that would be the end of the conversation, since she never really spoke to Noah much, she didn’t even really know much about the boy, to be honest. But, as he continued to speak, she blinked, her cheeks warming slightly, and she cleared her throat a bit, unsure of how to react, but she decided to focus on the conversation overall rather than his compliments. Besides, at least it would serve as a good distraction for now to keep her mind off of everything else. “It’s been alright,” she decided easily, watching Ashton, arching a brow at his amusement before she refocused on Noah. “How has yours been?”

Michael arched a brow as he examined Nerissa, listening to her quietly, though he grinned broadly as he listened to her. “Ah, right, the mystery of the universe! Women are always right,” he teased lightly, though he grinned when she wrapped his own arm around her and he squeezed her gently to his side, chewing on his lip as he watched her for a few moments. “I really would be lost without you, though, just so you know.” And he meant it, he really did. Smiling, he took her in before focusing on their walk, not wanting to risk missing a step and sending them both crashing back down to the bottom of the stairs, certain that would end painfully. “Right, right, we should definitely try to learn something.” He nodded slightly with the mention of it, chuckling quietly with amusement, unable to really help it. “Although I’m not too sure I’ll be able to focus.” And, that much, at least, was true, because he often found himself distracted, easily focusing more on Nerissa than anything else, and he couldn’t help it. Not that he wanted to; he was just fine focusing on her, she made him happy, she made his world brighter, she made everything worth it, and he loved her for it. Feeling her arm wrap around him, he grinned as they walked up the stairs to class, peering down at her, never really wanting to look away. “Lucky me, then. But also you’re such an amazing person, I couldn’t imagine you ever being unsympathetic.”

Luke tried to make himself comfortable in the worn down armchair that was provided for comfort, but seeing Noah interact with Elise was enough to boil the blood in his veins to the point he was afraid he would combust. "Exactly," Luke murmured, his voice laced with something he could only identify as anxiety for the moment, although Luke was certain, every negative emotion to exist, existed within him at that moment. "Elise is far too good for that brainless oaf. Look at him, he's practically drooling over her!" Luke slammed his text book open to the correct page, a scowl etched onto his face. "Someone as brilliant as Elise shouldn't settle for someone as ridiculously dull as Noah." Luke toyed with his lower lip with that, looking to the boy who was flirting with the girl that Luke had given his heart to, whether she was aware of it or not. "Scramble his brain?" Luke arched an eyebrow to one of his closest friends. "Calum, look at them. They don't have brains in between their ears. Wouldn't be surprised if there's a moth flying around in those thick heads." Luke listened to Honoria explain about the sugar hexes though, and he offered her an amused glance. "Well, they certainly deserve it." Luke confirmed, not bothered about the fact his parents were going to be hexed. "Count me in, as well." Luke confirmed quietly, but hearing Calum's question, Luke looked to Elise and Noah, feeling every muscle tense. "I should hope so." Luke muttered. "If not a Sugar Hex, then a real hex will have to do."

Isadora tucked a stray strand behind her ear, quite aware that Felix was flirting with her. She couldn't understand why, she'd never given him any hint that she was interested, simply because she wasn't - or, at least, she'd never considered Felix as interesting. He'd never really stood out in the way that Calum did. Biting her lip with the thought of Calum, Isadora glanced over her shoulder quickly, knowing her chances of ever ending up with Calum Hood were slim, if there was any chance at all. When Felix leaned closer, Isadora offered him an amused look, opening the textbook as Trelawny spoke. "This weekend?" Isadora repeated, blinking in surprise, and she wondered if this conversation was heading the way she was sure it was going. "Uh, no, I'm free." And although Isadora didn't find Felix to be someone she wanted to date, she might as well start trying, because the man she loved would never love her in return, and Isadora couldn't live her life pining over the handsome Slytherin boy, no matter how much she wanted him all to herself, how much she wanted to call herself his. Isadora knew she was young and she had plenty of life left in her, but she truly felt that, if circumstances were different, Calum belonged by her side somehow. Exhaling with the thought, Isadora skimmed through her textbook.

Noah swapped seats with Ashton, grateful that Ashton didn't appear to be in the mood to conversate, like he usually was, grateful that Noah could grasp the opportunity to be closer to Elise. Running a hand through his dark, unkempt curls, Noah offered Elise a smile, his excitement and hope building when Elise wished him a good morning. "Elise," Noah cleared his throat. "You don't happen to be doing anything this weekend?" He asked, and when Elise's cheeks turned a little red, Noah's grin broadened and he leaned forward a little more, so he was closer than not to the beauty. "Mine's been okay, a bit boring, but still, it's better now that you're here." Noah offered Elise a wink then, knowing damn well that the gesture would be enough to make Luke jealous, and the best part was that Luke couldn't do anything about it, so Noah figured he might as well take advantage of the situation. "If you're free, perhaps you'd like to go for a Butterbeer with me?"

Ashton's eyes skimmed over the page he'd opened his textbook to. Divination had never been a subject he was passionate about, but Ashton figured that the higher his grades, the higher the chance of him getting a job in the magical world. He could never go back and live in muggle communities knowing that magic existed and he possessed the gene that made it possible to use magic. Reading through the same paragraph over and over, Ashton found himself not absorbing any information, and as frustrating as that was, he found his mind constantly drifting to Honoria. Ashton could admit to himself that over the past few days, the small instances where he'd had time alone with Honoria and she'd shown herself to be different to her usual cocky exterior, he'd fallen deeper in love with the girl he could never have, the girl his heart longed for, the girl that made Ashton feel like he could take on the Dark Lord, he could take on the whole damn world, and he could still win. Shaking that thought from his head, Ashton slumped in his seat slightly, not wanting to tell his friends that the antics of that morning had taken a toll on him.

Nerissa laughed with Michael's words, loving the way he smiled, the way he teased her. Michael was the literal embodiment of sunshine, and Nerissa wondered how he managed to stay so happy all of the time. "Of course women are always right, we had to adapt to men's stupidity." She teased, staying close to Michael's side, the warmth of his body comforting Nerissa in a way she couldn't really explain. Looking over to Michael as he spoke, Nerissa nearly groaned when she saw him toy with his lip, and forcing that thought away, Nerissa offered Michael a sweet smile. "I'd be lost without you too, you know. What would I do without you?" She asked gently, lifting a hand to run through his hair. Still, focusing on the stairs, Nerissa rolled her eyes playfully with Michael's words. "Well, hopefully you learn something." She teased, and as they drew nearer to the top of the tower, Nerissa pulled away carefully, walking ahead. Smiling with Michael's words, Nerissa looked over her shoulder to him. "You're too kind to me, Michael." She smiled, before walking into class and taking a seat by Ashton.

Honoria watched her friends and, honestly, she felt awful for them, that they had to watch other guys flirt with the girls they loved, while they themselves couldn't act on their feelings and had to hide their feelings behind cruelty. Chewing on her lip, her gaze went to Ashton for a moment and a part of her hoped she never had to experience something like that, that she never had to witness another girl trying to gain Ashton's affections, while she couldn't do anything about her own. As she watched Ashton slump in his seat, she felt concern well up inside her chest, and she chewed on her lip a little harsher before she breathed out and looked to her friends. “I'll do my best to get them to agree to it,” she promised her friends quietly, peering over at them, “I'm sure there will be some way to convince them.” And she was determined to figure something out for her friends, because she didn't want them to let their anger get the best of them and for them to end up in trouble; she knew how any of their parents would react.

Calum watched Isadora from where he was, though his jaw clenched with how blatantly Felix was flirting with Isadora. When she peered over her shoulder, though, Calum straightened a bit, unable to help the rush of hope that filled him, even though he was certain she wasn't looking at him - or, if she was, it was possibly to make sure he wasn't setting her up for some kind of prank. He listened to his friends, though, only taking his gaze from Isadora when she looked away to peer at his friends for a moment, but his attention still didn't leave Isadora for long as his focus returned to her fairly quickly. “We can't let them get away with this,” he muttered a little grumpily, his arms folded over his chest. “I'll do whatever it takes to make sure Felix doesn't get his filthy hands on Isadora, so if those Weasley twins refuse to give you extra Sugar Hexes, I'm with Luke, I'll use a real he, I don't care.” Normally, the possible consequences would worry him, but the jealousy that twisted in his stomach and chest made him hyper aware of how much it would hurt to see Isadora with somebody else, even if he didn't deserve her.

Felix perked up when he heard Isadora's words, though, for a moment, he saw her look behind her, and it caused his brows to furrow a bit, curious to what she could have been looking at. He didn't want to pry, though, instead wanting to try to get her to focus on him - especially when he was sure it would make Calum's blood boil with the worst jealousy. A grin formed on Felix's features with the thought. “Yeah?” he asked, arching a brow as he leaned forward, watching her. “Maybe you and I could enjoy a date at Hogsmeade, then?”

Elise shifted, resting her elbow on the table, letting her chin rest in her palm as she listened quietly to Noah, though she wasn't particularly interested in the conversation. A part of her mildly daydreamed about Luke being in Noah's place, where Luke would be asking her to join him for a butterbeer instead, where Luke would be more interested in her than he was in torturing and tormenting her. Sighing with the thought, she brought herself back to reality and, for a moment, wondering if agreeing with the idea would make it easier to pretend how she felt about Luke. “I'm not doing anything, no,” she said eventually, offering a weak smile as she peered at Noah. “So, I guess a butterbeer wouldn't be the worst idea.”

Michael blinked as he listened to Nerissa, but he couldn't help but to laugh at her ingenuity. “That explains it all, every single thing,” he joked in return, grinning broadly as he peered at her, beyond amused and amazed by her. Everything about her set his world alight and he almost couldn't believe how lucky he was that she was in his life at all; she made his life so much more worth it and he never wanted to lose her or the light she brought to his world. “Looks like we're mutually agreeing to be stuck together for the rest of our lives.” He grinned jokingly, but his heart swelled with the thought, because he wanted in her life for as long as he could have her there. His grin broadened with the thought. “I don't know, if I don't learn anything, I could always ask you to tutor me after.” Peering down at her, a part of him was tempted to pay even less attention in class, just so that he could spend more time with Nerissa later. Of course, he kept this thought to himself, not wanting to push any boundaries or for her to realize that not all of his jokes were jokes at all. “There's no such thing as too kind, Nerissa.” And, smiling, he watched her before he moved to take his own seat.

Ashton scrubbed a hand over his face as he tried his hardest to settle down and focus. Blinking once, twice, to try and calm himself, Ashton found the walls around him closing in; and he searched for a distraction. He couldn't look to Honoria - as much as he wanted to - because Luke and Calum were at her side and he knew that a quick glance could result in harsh words exchanged; and there'd been enough of that already. Ashton was exhausted, and it was only the first class of the day. He'd rather be anywhere than reading false prophecies from a crystal ball. Still, looking to his right, Ashton saw classmate and Ravenclaw, Lily, smiling and waving at him. Finding himself surprised, Ashton smiled back and nodded in acknowledgement, but when she winked, Ashton found his cheeks heating up to a blush and he grinned, ducking his head a little bit. He could, at least, have fun. Honoria would never see him above anything else than dirt on the ground, so what was the harm? "Morning, Lily." And when the girl returned his sentiments, Ashton smiled, perking up a little more.

Isadora raised her eyebrows in amusement when she focused her attention back onto Felix, seeing he was leaning a little closer now. Hearing his words though, Isadora felt her cheeks beginning to warm, and tucking a stray strand of blonde hair behind her ear, she wondered if she should accept Felix's offer. Knowing her heart belonged to Calum, Isadora knew that whatever she wanted to happen between the handsome Slytherin boy and herself, would never happen. Maybe giving Felix a chance was her best option. "A date?" Isadora repeated with a smile, biting her lip. "Okay then." Isadora blushed, grinning. "It's not an entirely bad idea." And as much as she would dump Felix in a heartbeat for Calum, Isadora didn't need a crystal ball to know that Calum wasn't in her future.

Scowling, Luke ran a hand through his hair. "Trust me," Luke murmured, eyes a shade darker than the usual sky blue as he glared at Noah, hoping his harsh look would be enough to kill the boy. "I'd be more than happy to face whatever consequence if it meant getting that slimeball away from Elise." And it was true - he knew his parents would be more than happy to deliver the cruellest punishment if Luke went out of his way to expose the family for what they were, but watching the way Noah interacted with Elise, and watching Elise interact in return, Luke felt himself slipping further into the green pool of jealousy. Shifting in his chair, Luke smirked to Calum. "50 points if I can Noah's hair on fire!" He grinned.

Noah grinned at Elise, grateful that she'd agreed with him, his own ego oblivious to the fact that Elise just wasn't that interested in him. "Great," Noah nodded. "Meet me in the Great Hall Saturday morning?"

Nerissa smiled with Michael's words, biting her lip in amusement as she sat beside the boy. "Michael Clifford," she murmured, leaning in to do so. "I absolutely wouldn't mind spending the rest of my life with you." And Nerissa was certain she'd never meant anything more. Michael was incredible, and she would consider herself honoured if Michael wanted her by his side. Tucking a strand of blonde hair behind her ears, Nerissa settled into her chair, looking at her crystal ball with boredom, wondering if something would come to fruition or if this class was, as suspected, a waste of student time. Smiling with Michael's words, Nerissa smiled. "Yes there is.

Felix couldn’t help but to grin slightly when he heard that Isadora agreed, completely prepared to rub it in Calum’s face when he got the chance. “Wonderful,” he decided happily, “We can meet after breakfast on Saturday?”

Calum’s jaw clenched as he watched Isadora and Felix, his heart clenching painfully in his chest when he saw how close Felix was to Isadora, but even more so when he swore he could see a blush on Isadora’s features, his heart sinking in his chest with the sight. “I’ll kill him,” he muttered quietly, determined, his fists clenching tightly on the table as he watched the display. He tried to focus on his friends, but the more he saw how Felix and Isadora interacted, the more he wanted to rush over there and interrupt, force them apart, declare to Isadora that she could do so much better, even declare his own feelings for her, and it took everything in him to force himself not to do that very thing. “75 points if I beat you and make boils form all over Felix’s face.” At this point, he didn’t care about the consequences either. How dare that buffoon gain reactions like that from Isadora? How dare he even think about asking Isadora on a date? How dare he flirt with her!

Honoria listened to her friends, though she was beginning to tune them out at this point in favor of watching Ashton silently from where they were. Since they were in the back, it was easier and safer - the only people who would notice were her friends, and they certainly wouldn’t mind, especially since they were preoccupied, anyhow. As she watched a girl, Lily, interact with Ashton, though, she felt her heart lurch to her stomach, an ache rushing through her, though it was quickly replaced by anger when she saw Lily wink at Ashton. What was worse, she swore she saw Ashton blushing and perking up and grinning, and the sight of it, the knowledge that somebody else had managed that when she could never allow herself to, made her jealousy and anger nearly blinding. “Mates,” she said quietly, trying her best to refrain from reaching for her wand right away, “One of you might want to grab my wand before I can get to it.”

Elise offered a small smile to Noah’s words, though she couldn’t form any excitement with the idea. She told herself that, if the date didn’t pan out, she’d just end things there and not lead Noah on. But, the more she thought about it, the more she tried to convince herself that she needed to start giving other guys a chance - Luke clearly wasn’t interested in her and she really shouldn’t be interested in him herself. “Sure, that sounds like it’d work,” she decided quietly, peering at Noah for a few moments, trying to find some detail that she could latch onto that would make her excited about this, but nothing about him sent flutters through her or made her nervous, and a part of her hated it, hated that she only ever felt that way around Luke. “I’m looking forward to it.” She wasn’t, not really.

Michael blinked when he heard Nerissa use his full name and, admittedly, it sent a happy rush of warmth through him, and he grinned slightly when she leaned in to talk to him, arching a brow as he listened to her. “Yeah? You promise that?” he asked quietly, arching a brow as he examined her, “Because, at this point, if you promise such a thing, I’m definitely gonna make sure you hold up your end of it.” After all, the thought of having Nerissa in his life for as long as he lived made his heart pound in such a surprisingly pleasant way that all he wanted was to tell her how amazing it sounded, how amazing he was sure their life together would be. Of course, he knew he was thinking ahead - for all he knew, she could be simply talking about spending their lives together as the best of friends. That didn’t stop him from being hopeful, though, because all he wanted was that future with her, and he hoped she wanted it in the same way he wanted it. Shaking the thoughts from his head, he arched a brow. “Oh? You really think so?” he asked with amusement, “Mind giving examples?”

Isadora nodded with Felix's offer. "Okay," she confirmed with a slight smile, and as soon as the word fell from her lips, the blonde wished she could take it all back, because she could feel her heart sinking further into the pit of her stomach. But as she imagined Calum asking her out instead, Isadora felt every hint of disappointment begin to ebb away. Turning to face the crystal ball once more, Isadora toyed with her lower lip, ignoring the urge to turn around and look to Calum, doubtful he'd even be looking her way. As the hurt began to flow back to her, Isadora did the only thing she could do and ignore her conflicted feelings, deciding to pay attention to the class instead of Felix and the smug grin he wore. Looking to Felix, Isadora noticed that her heartbeat didn't flutter with excitement, and her stomach didn't do somersalts, and she frowned with the thought, because she truly did belong to Calum, even if the Slytherin didn't want her.

Ashton had tried to focus back on the crystal ball before he fell into a conversation with Lily, but the Ravenclaw had remained persistant in keeping conversation. As much as Ashton loved Honoria, he knew that he was wasting his time, knowing she'd never return the love he felt for her, and what was the point in allowing himself to get hurt over and over again? Swallowing the lump in his throat that appeared with the thought, Ashton decided to entertain Lily, and as she asked Ashton what he was doing this Saturday, Ashton almost stuttered when he replied that he was doing nothing significant. And when Lily asked him to Hogsmeade, Ashton couldn't stop himself before the words; "Yeah, alright then." fell from his lips. Smiling at Lily when she looked absolutely delighted with his answer, Ashton looked over his shoulder to where the Slytherins sat, and seeing Honoria glaring at him, Ashton sighed and turned to face the crystal ball once more, tensing a little as Lily placed a hand on his arm.

Luke took Honoria's wand without taking his eyes away from Elise, and the rush of jealousy that coursed through his veins at a velocity he couldn't control. He could feel himself ready to stand to his feet and grab Noah by the back of the robe and throw him down the tower stairs for daring to ask Elise Weasley on a date, of all bloody things. Curling his hands into fists and then releasing once more, Luke listened to Calum and smirked. "Who cares about sugar hexes at this point? I think a real one is far more fitting, and the more that obnoxious bastard talks to her, the more trouble he'll be in." Luke spoke dangerously low, and as he watched Noah smirk, Luke could feel his anger reaching levels beyond his control. "I'll kill him."

Noah grinned with Elise's confirmation and nodded. "I look forward to it, darling."

Nerissa smiled as Michael paid attention to her, and she decided she ought to call him by his full name more often. He suited it, and admittedly, she wished she could be a Clifford, too. "I absolutely promise that." Nerissa looked to him, allowing their eyes to meet, meaning every word she spoke. She would love a lifetime with Michael, and she wanted to make it so. "I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it, Michael Clifford." She grinned, making sure he knew she was serious. When Michael asked for examples of such thing as too kind, Nerissa grinned, tucking a strand of his colourful hair behind his ear. "Uh, everything you've ever done for me in our friendship?" Nerissa's grin softened to a smile. "I think that's some good examples. Your hair is my favourite colour, and it's even better on you."

(forgive Honoria’s awfully long post x.x)

Felix grinned with the mention of it, perking up spectacularly. “Great,” he told her, “I can’t wait. I’ll make sure we have loads of fun, love.”

Calum watched quietly, his arms soon moving to fold across his chest as if it would protect the ache he felt within, and he chewed hard on his lip, wanting to do everything he could to keep Felix as far away from Isadora as possible. “I can’t deny you’ve made a fair argument there,” he muttered quietly, watching Felix, though his gaze hardened with a determination that he was so well versed in. “You know what? Count me in. I’ll hex that bastard all the way to Hell if it means he can’t be near Isadora ever again.” And, he meant it, with everything in him, because he absolutely hated the thought of anybody receiving Isadora’s affections aside from him. He knew it wasn’t fair to Isadora, knew that he didn’t deserve her affections in the first place, and he certainly didn’t deserve them, but he wanted her love, her attention, her affection, her adoration. More than that, he wanted to prove that he was worthy of all of that - and, while he knew that he’d be going about it the wrong way by attacking Felix, he just wanted Felix as far away from Isadora as possible. If the asshole hadn’t decided to take his chances with Isadora, Calum wouldn’t be bothering with the moron, anyway, so, ultimately, it was Felix’s own fault, and Calum knew that Felix knew that; after all, Felix had taunted him, had made it known that he was trying to make Calum jealous, so Calum felt it was only fair to retaliate at this point.

Elise offered a weak smile to Noah’s words, although she couldn’t help but to feel mildly uncomfortable when she heard his words. Instead of responding to him, she settled her gaze back onto the crystal ball, trying to focus, trying to look anywhere but where she so desperately wanted to, but she couldn’t help but to notice Luke’s reflection in the crystal ball when she sat at the right angle. Chewing on her lip, she couldn’t help but to watch him for a few moments - at least, this way, it was safe. It wasn’t like Luke could notice it, and nothing awful could happen, because she could pretend she was trying to concentrate on seeing whatever future the crystal ball wanted to show her, although, admittedly, she wasn’t seeing anything in the mist yet. Eventually tearing her gaze away, she peered over at Isadora. “Are you seeing anything?” she asked quietly, arching a brow in curiosity, but mostly trying to get away from the conversation with Noah and wanting to try to relax by talking to one of her friends instead.

Michael couldn’t help the broad grin that spread its way across his features, spread so wide that it was nearly painful, but he didn’t really care, because Nerissa made him so wonderfully happy, and all he wanted to do was to embrace all the positive emotions he felt in her presence, always finding himself feeling lighter and happier with her around. “I’m gonna hold you to that, then,” he decided quietly, though he fully trusted Nerissa to uphold her promise regardless. She was such an amazing person, kind in every way, and the fact that she existed in his life, that he was able to share moments like this with her even without her knowing about his constantly growing feelings for her, meant more to Michael than he could bring himself to verbally express. Hearing her continue to speak, his expression softened, and he offered an amused glance, because he loved the way his full name sounded coming from her lips, a part of him hoping to one day hear his last name attached to Nerissa. “I know that,” he assured her quietly, nodding, “That’s what makes you so amazing, Nerissa.” And, he meant it. Everything about Nerissa just overwhelmed his senses and brought a new sense of hope each day, and he knew she was honest and, when she said something, anything, she meant it. When he felt her tucking a strand of his hair behind his ear, though, he grinned slightly. “None of that is too kind,” he assured her, “I’d do so much more for you, any day.”

Honoria watched the display quietly, not really acknowledging that Luke had taken her wand and, the longer Ashton talked to Lily, the more Honoria could feel her heart sinking deeper and deeper, almost painfully. She could hear bits of the conversation, because Lily wasn’t exactly being quiet, and her heart broke when she heard Ashton agreeing to Lily’s invitation - but, the thing that got her the most was when Lily placed her hand on Ashton’s arm. Honoria wasn’t sure which emotion ruled her in that moment - her anger, her jealousy, her heartbreak - or whether all three emotions swirled together in a painful concoction that made her eyes burn with tears and made it feel like she couldn’t breathe in the large room. Before she could stop herself, she stood, grabbed her things - aside from her wand, which she was in no mood to try to pry from Luke, - and quickly rushed out of the classroom, her head ducked, biting back the tears as much as she could, and she felt awful for it, because she hated feeling this way and she hated leaving her favorite class. She supposed, though, that she could apologize to Professor Trelawney later over one of the tea sessions she and her friends shared with the Professor on occasion. Even when she got out of the classroom, she didn’t feel any better, and the tears had spilled and she hated it. For as long as Honoria could remember, she’d only cried twice in her lifetime - once when she was seven and broke her arm, but her parents had quickly mended it with a spell, and the second time when her cat, whom she’d planned to bring with her to Hogwarts, had died just after her eleventh birthday, and she’d sworn she’d never get another cat in her life; it was why she only had her owl now - so the thought that a boy, of all things, had brought tears to the surface made Honoria all the more upset and, in her rush to escape, the trip down the large tower had felt much too short. When she reached the bottom, she ducked around the corner and leaned against it to try to gather herself, aware she wouldn’t have enough time to go to the Slytherin dungeon to calm down, because classes would end soon and she couldn’t miss out on meeting up with the Weasley twins. Even with her emotions getting the better of her and the pain in her chest making it hard to focus, she still wanted to get back at Luke’s parents for what they’d done to Ashton and the others.

Ashton shifted uncomfortably under Lily's touch, not wanting to be rude and tell the girl to get off, but also not wanting her hand to rest on him. It raised no reaction within him, no butterflies, no thumping heart, nothing like Honoria set off. Shrugging Lily off his arm with the thought, Ashton looked to the crystal ball, and in the reflection, he watched Honoria stand to her feet, and Ashton's heart seized his chest as she made her way out of the classroom, his stomach sinking with the thought that something had upset her. Unsure of whether or not he should follow, Ashton felt himself wanting nothing more than to chase Honoria, hold her in his arms and tell her that whatever was upsetting her wasn't worth paying attention to, because she was so much better - she was so much stronger - than that. Biting his lip, Ashton heard Professor Trelawny dismiss the class, and standing quickly, Ashton made his way down the tower's steps, trying to catch up to Honoria.

Isadora cringed inwardly when Felix called her love, opting instead to focus her attention from him to the crystal ball, and when she saw Calum Hood's reflection against the sphere, Isadora blinked in surprise, before remembering he was sat behind her. Feeling her heart sink in disappointment, Isadora looked to Elise as her friend spoke to her, and she shook her head. "Nothing, yet." Isadora explained softly, trying to look past Calum's reflection and focus on the mist, but seeing the boy that she loved more than she could ever explain was so distracting. "I don't think anything's gonna come at all." She sunk down in her seat a little bit. "How about you?" Isadora asked, trying to ignore the way that her heart squeezed painfully knowing that what she wanted, what she wanted to see, would never be what she had.

Luke couldn't help the smirk that spread across his features with Calum's words. "I think boils would be more than appropriate." Luke murmured, slipping his wand from his sleeve and, ensuring no one was paying attention to him, he aimed his wand at the idiot who dared try to pry Elise's affections. Luke knew he was less than deserving of Elise's affections, Luke understood that she had no reason to be fond of him, but the jealousy that coursed through his veins was enough inspiration to keep his wand focused on Noah, and as Luke murmured a quick spell, he smirked as a rush of yellow light left his wand, and quickly returning it up his sleeve before anyone could see it was him, Luke focused on Elise, smiling softly at the sight of her, knowing Noah would be feeling the affects of his spell at any moment. "3," Luke leaned over to murmur to Calum. "2, 1."

Noah could feel his face burning, and he leaned to scrub a hand over his face, frowning as he felt uneven bumps on his skin.

Nerissa could feel her cheeks heat up into a blush as Michael spoke, and she ducked her head a little bit, not wanting her best friend to see the affect he had on her. She knew he was only speaking platonically, and as much as the thought stabbed at her, she was determined to enjoy being this close to Michael. "Go ahead and hold me to it," Nerissa teased. "I mean every word." And when she saw Michael study her, Nerissa bit her lip, cupping his cheek gently before pulling away, looking to the crystal ball, and when Michael ensured her that he'd do more for her, Nerissa smiled. "Thank you."

Honoria took a few deep breaths as she leaned against the wall, trying to gather her thoughts and waiting for her emotions to pass. She tensed, though, when she heard echoes of footsteps coming down the tower, which meant Professor Trelawney had released class. There hadn’t been enough time to work through her emotions, so she quickly tried to distract herself by trying to focus on something else, something that would keep her mind distracted. She tried to think of getting the Sugar Hexes from the Weasley twins and getting back at Luke’s parents, but that brought her back to thinking about Ashton, and he was the last thing she wanted to think about. So, instead, she tried to focus on homework - how many assignments she had coming up, how much time she should set aside to work on each assignment, how much she should study, - and it was eventually enough to block out the pain she felt. Breathing out, she quickly wiped at her tears, getting rid of them as quickly as she could, before she peered around for the Weasley twins, trying to ignore the sound of the echoing footsteps, though she hoped it was Luke and Calum.

Calum grinned when he heard Luke’s agreement, unable to stop himself, just wanting to make Felix pay for getting close to Isadora in any sense of the word. “Alright, let’s do this,” he muttered quietly, keeping his voice quiet because he wanted to avoid attracting Isadora’s attention. He didn’t want Isadora to realize what he was up to, certain that it would only serve to make things worse between them. Letting his wand slide out of the sleeve of his robe, he pointed it towards Felix, saying the spell quietly but quickly and he grinned slightly, his grin broadening as he watched. Quickly, he slipped his wand back into his sleeve, and he watched the show with a smirk, but ducked his head. Seeing the boils showing up on Felix’s face made Calum feel a little more at ease. Sure, he couldn’t keep Isadora and Felix away from each other - a thought he hated to admit, because the thought of Isadora falling for Felix made Calum worry that he truly would never have a chance with her - but he could at least make Felix repulsive for a little while so that at least thing wouldn’t progress too much between them. Hearing Professor Trelawney release them, though, he stood up with his things, still smirking. “Let’s get going.”

Felix moved to start packing up his things, but he froze, feeling his face burning and itching and, his brows furrowing, he reached up to feel his skin, though his frown deepened when he felt the boils under his touch, and he quickly tried to cover them with his hands.

Elise listened quietly to her friend, though she shook her head slightly, settling her gaze back on the crystal ball, a small frown forming on her features. “No, nothing on my end, either,” she murmured quietly before she sighed out, though she felt relief flood her when Professor Trelawney released the class. Grabbing her things, she put them away before she stood up, peering back over at her friend. “You ready to go?” she asked with curiosity, arching an eyebrow, doing everything she could to avoid looking towards Luke, and she chewed hard on her lip, breathing out quietly. She looked to Noah, planning to say bye, but she blinked with shock when she saw Noah’s face. “Oh… Uh, Noah, maybe you should head to see Madame Pomfrey…” And, really, she realized she should probably worry about the boils popping up on his face, but she didn’t really care.

Michael chewed on his lip happily when he saw Nerissa’s blush, and he grinned slightly, unable to help but to enjoy the sight, though he’d blinked when she ducked her head. He, of course, decided not to bring it up, not wanting to press matters, but also not wanting to set himself up for disappointment, because he knew, as best friends, things wouldn’t really get romantic between them, no matter how much he wanted it to - he was pretty sure that Nerissa didn’t feel anything romantic for him, but, God, she had his heart in all the best ways. “Well, in that case, since I have your permission, I’m all for it,” he teased lightly in response, grinning slightly as he examined her, though his heart swelled when she cupped his cheek and, for a moment, he leaned into her hand before she’d pulled away. “You don’t have to thank me.” He offered a small smile and looked to the crystal ball for the first time throughout the entire class, though he blinked when he heard Professor Trelawney dismiss them. “Guess that’s our cue to leave,” he muttered to Nerissa, offering a small smile before he moved to gather his things to stand up.

Ashton reached the bottom of the stairs, looking around, his hope falling in his chest when he didn't see Honoria. "Honoria?" He called out, trying to catch his breath. Leaning against the archway to the stairs, Ashton took a deep breath, before taking a few steps forward. "Honoria, are you here?" Ashton asked, concern filling him. He'd never seen Honoria storm out of a classroom the way she did, and he wondered what had upset her so deeply for her to think she had to go. Ashton frowned, his heart squeezing in his chest when he realised that he missed seeing her face, he missed her entire presence. Chewing on his lip, Ashton caught sight of the beautiful brunette and quickened his pace. "Honoria, hey!" He jogged to where she stood. "Are you okay?" Without thinking, Ashton placed his hand on Honoria's arm, concerned. "You... you stormed out." Ashton blinked, realising he sounded dumb.

Isadora shrugged lightly when Elise confirmed she didn't see anything within the mist, and tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, Isadora exhaled with relief when Professor Trelawny excused the class. Hearing Elise's question, Isadora nodded as she picked up her Divination textbook, tucking her wand behind her ear. Turning to Felix to say bye, not wanting to be rude, Isadora pulled a face of disgust, and tried to hide her amusement. "Uh," She cleared her throat. "Felix, maybe you should go and see Madame Pomfrey too." Isadora smirked, her voice completely devoid of any concern. Adjusting her book in her arms, Isadora frowned when she saw Noah in a similar condition, and for a moment, her gaze fell to Calum Hood and Luke Hemmings. Smirking a little, Isadora shifted. "C'mon, Elise."

As Noah's face errupted in boils, a smirk of satisfaction spread across Luke's features, and he couldn't help but feel proud of himself for a job well done. Grabbing his things, Luke followed Calum's lead, pulling a face of disgust. "Oh, gross." He murmured, pulling Noah's arms from his face. "You should go to the hospital wing, mate." Luke feigned concern, shooting Noah a subtle wink. "Wouldn't want that to spread." Luke tapped Noah's shoulder, trying to contain his laughter. But when he heard the pure boredom in Elise's voice, he couldn't help but feel relief flood through him, because the possibility that she wasn't that into Noah was so much more real, and Luke hoped and prayed that she had only agreed to Hogsmeade out of sympathy. But still, Luke frowned with the thought of Elise ever falling for anyone but him, and following Calum out of the classroom, Luke shook his head. "That oughta teach them."

Noah scowled with Luke's bravado of feigned concern, and he shook his head, offering a wave to Elise before quickly scurrying out of the classroom, shoving past Luke and Calum as he did.

Nerissa blinked in surprise as she heard Professor Trelawny dismiss the class, and she felt her blush deepening, because she hadn't done any work. She had focused her attention entirely on Michael - but Nerissa would be lying if she thought it was a class wasted, because she would much prefer to look into Michael's green eyes than some shabby old crystal ball. "Where are we going now?" Nerissa asked, wanting to remain by Michael's side. "Do you need help down the stairs?" Nerissa asked, reaching to pinch Michael's cheek with a sweet grin, absolutely adoring the boy.

Honoria jolted out of her thoughts when she felt somebody’s hand on her arm. Hearing Ashton’s voice, though, she tensed, peering over for a moment. Her heart ached slightly when she caught sight of him, and she chewed hard on her lip, trying to ignore the ache she felt, but quickly forced herself to put her facade back up. “Yeah? What do you care?” she asked, arching a brow, “I suppose I was tempted to vomit by watching you and your new girlfriend flirt. I wasn’t too eager to vomit in front of the entire class.” Offering a quiet scoff, she settled her gaze ahead, shifting onto her tiptoes to try to get a look out for the Weasley twins, since the corridor was beginning to fill up with students exiting their classes. Her heart sank slightly with the fact that she had to return to being cold towards Ashton again. “By the way, you might want to at least pretend you have a limp should you run into Mr. and Mrs. Hemmings again,” she advised despite herself, not wanting to risk Ashton getting hurt again.

Calum smirked as he watched boils spread across Felix’s face and he made his way down with Luke. “Nasty luck, mate,” he mentioned as he passed by Felix, though he leaned over, prying a hand away from the boy’s face, and grimacing. “Ooh, you know what? I’ll agree with Isadora this once.” He smirked slightly as he examined Felix, not at all feeling guilty about the entire thing, but rather enjoying it, finding amusement in it, even, especially with the fact that Isadora didn’t seem at all bothered by it. “You should definitely run off to see Madame Pomfrey. Who knows how long those boils will last, hm?” Releasing his hold, he moved to stand straight, shaking his head, and he peered over at Isadora for a moment, though when he saw the smirk on her own features, he couldn’t help the swell of pride that seemed to rush through him at the sight, with knowing that he’d played a part in causing the expression to form on her features, admittedly loving the sight of it. Turning to Luke, he nodded as he followed his friend, his smirk spreading. “And, if not, we’ll have to up our game next time.”

Felix quickly pulled away from Calum once the boy had released his hold and, still covering his face, he didn’t dare look at Isadora as he rushed off to see Madame Pomfrey.

Elise watched quietly, arching a brow as she watched Luke with Noah and a part of her was suspicious that Luke had something to do with Noah’s sudden affliction of boils. She wondered idly, though, over why Luke would hex Noah at all - it wasn’t as though Luke had ever had any real confrontations with Noah before for him to act now. She watched as Felix and Noah fled, then as Luke and Calum left, before she turned to look at Isadora. “Well, that wasn’t suspicious at all,” she joked lightly, wondering what exactly was going on, but she didn’t want to delve too deeply into the entire situation, and she eventually shrugged the thought aside. “Right, you’re right, let’s go.” Offering a small smile, she left with Isadora, though she couldn’t help the fact her thoughts kept going back to what had just happened.

Michael peered over at Nerissa as he moved to stand up, grateful that class had ended, glad that they could focus on just spending time together. He, of course, couldn’t divulge just why he wanted to spend so much time with her, despite being hyper-aware of the reasons. Offering a smile, he examined her, taking her in, just wanting to relish in everything about her, swearing everything about her made his life worth living, even if she couldn’t be his, even if he couldn’t have her the way he wanted. “Definitely out of the tower,” he told her with a grin, though he made a face when she pinched his cheek, “We have some time before our next class, so wherever is fine with me.” Shrugging, he headed towards the door, but peered back at her, watching and waiting for her to join him. “I’m perfectly capable of walking, love. Do you need help getting down the stairs?”

Ashton blinked when he noticed Honoria chew on her lip, his eyebrows furrowed together in concern. "I care because I do, I don't need a reason." Ashton realised that he sounded defensive in that moment, but he knew Honoria could never know the truth about his feelings for her, no matter how much he wanted to. When she continued to speak though, Ashton lifted his brows in surprise. "Wait, my girlfriend?" Was... was she jealous? Ashton frowned then, realising she probably wasn't and that there was something genuinely concerning her; she just wanted to lash out. Toying with his lower lip, Ashton pulled a slight face when it processed that Honoria thought Lily was his girlfriend. "Lily isn't my girlfriend." Ashton sounded determined, almost, to get that point across. Lily was nothing to Ashton, and he didn't feel anything towards her. When Honoria looked away from him, Ashton pulled his hand away and exhaled, rubbing at the back of his neck. "Thanks for the advice." Ashton murmured. "Don't know how it healed, but I could kiss whoever helped. It really hurt." Ashton smiled weakly, his whole heart telling him it was Honoria. Ashton bit his lip, ducking his head. "See you around, Honoria."

Isadora watched carefully as Calum pried a hand away from Felix's face, and at the sight of all the boils, Isadora covered her hand with her mouth - mainly to hide the smile that was daring to appear at any moment. Not bothering to intervene between the boys, Isadora paused when she saw Calum look over to her, and she ducked her head, grinning the whole time. It was blatantly obvious that Calum had hexed Felix, and although Isadora couldn't help but wonder why, she didn't dare question it. She'd never seen the pair argue, and as grateful as Isadora was, she decided to let it go - for now. Listening to Elise, Isadora grinned, looking to her best friend. "That was pretty cool, you gotta hand it to the twerps." Following Elise, Calum and Luke out of the classroom, Isadora studied the golden skinned boy, trying to eavesdrop on their conversation, pouting slightly when she couldn't. Reaching the bottom of the stairs, Isadora cleared her throat. "Calum, can I borrow you for a moment?"

Luke laughed with Calum's words, nodding in agreement. "Exactly, mate." Luke tapped Calum's shoulder, and he couldn't help but grin to himself with a job well done. If this didn't keep Noah away from Elise, he was unsure what would, but Luke swore he'd find something if he stepped in Elise's direction again. Luke was aware just how unfair it was that he was behaving like an overprotective boyfriend, and he was hyper-aware that Elise hated him, but until the day that he broke free of the shackles his parents had around his wrists and he could beg for Elise's forgiveness and finally confess his love for the red head, nobody else could have her. Feeling his stomach sink with the realisation that it was so incredibly selfish to behave in that manner, Luke was in too deep to stop now. Hearing Isadora's voice though, Luke smirked, turning to face the duo, his eyes firmly on Elise and he wondered if she suspected him for any wrong doing towards Noah, the school's biggest idiot. Toying with his lower lip to stop himself grinning, Luke watched Elise carefully.

Nerissa smiled when she noticed Michael peer over at her. "What?" She asked teasingly, following his lead and standing up, Nerissa grinned with Michael's words. "How about a trip to the Great Hall, we could study a little?" Nerissa offered, not wanting to part from Michael for her next class. Looping her arm through Michael's happily, Nerissa laughed with Michael's offer. "I think I'll get down the stairs just fine, Michael, I promise." She teased, looking to him with a smile, wishing that he knew just what she thought of him, but the fear that Michael didn't return those feelings was enough to keep Nerissa quiet. She didn't want to ruin a friendship as beautiful as this. "C'mon."

Honoria arched a brow in response, watching him for a moment. “Everybody needs a reason,” she pointed out easily in response. But, she fell silent, listening to him quietly, trying to ignore the rush of hope she felt with his words, because, if he wasn’t dating Lily, then at least that meant his heart was still available - even if she couldn’t claim it for herself yet. She tried not to smile with the thought, ducking her head to at least hide it. “What a shame, I’m sure Lily will be devastated to hear that,” she chimed easily, though she did her best to hide the amusement and relief she felt. When Ashton pulled his hand away, though, she chewed on her lip, peering back at him for a few moments, trying to ignore the way her heart jumped with the very thought of receiving a kiss from Ashton. “Well, I wish you luck with finding whoever did it.” Shrugging, she watched him for a moment, trying to ignore her heightened pulse with the sight of Ashton biting his lip and, before she could stop herself, she reached out to grab the sleeve of his robe carefully. “Ash - er, Irwin,” she muttered, mentally chastising herself for screwing up, “Perhaps you should be on the lookout for Mr. and Mrs. Hemmings. Who knows, you might witness quite the show.”

Calum grinned to his friend, both amused and proud and nowhere near capable of hiding it just yet. “I think we outdid ourselves this time around, mate,” he chimed easily in return, smirking proudly to himself, his heart swelling with hope with the thought that perhaps Felix would back off Isadora now. He made sure not to let his hopes grow too high, almost certain that, when it came to Isadora, nobody would be able to fully give up on her and back off completely - he knew he couldn’t, after all, no matter how much he knew that he really probably should. Hearing Isadora’s words, though, he paused in his steps, mildly curious to whether he’d misheard - and it was that curiosity that had him turning to look towards Isadora, blinking, his brows furrowing with curiosity. She didn’t sound angry, she didn’t sound annoyed - and, Merlin, he couldn’t remember the last time he hadn’t heard anything negative in her tone and, immediately, he decided he didn’t want to lose this opportunity to relish in the sound. “I suppose you can,” he told her in response, watching her before he looked to Luke, though he soon stepped away to move over to Isadora, tilting his head as he examined her, memorizing her features in that moment. “What do you need to borrow me for, Isadora?”

“You’ve got that right,” Elise agreed with Isadora, offering an amused expression towards her friend, though her curiosity about why Luke would bother going after Noah was beginning to eat away at her. She wouldn’t normally care, of course, but, well… It was Luke, and a part of her just craved the chance to understand him more. Of course, she knew how unlikely it was that she would get any answers in the first place, but she could at least try, couldn’t she? Seeing that Isadora had called out to Calum, she watched her friend for a moment before her gaze settled on Luke and she tried to ignore the way her heart did backflips when she saw him toying with his lip and, after a moment, she made her way over to him. “Hemmings,” she greeted, arching a brow, “You certainly look pleased with yourself.” For a moment, she toyed with the thoughts of the negative reasons to why Luke would mess with Noah now, of all times. Was it because he didn’t want Elise to be happy? Not that she’d ever be happy with Noah, but still. Or was there some other reason to all of this. “I’m assuming that means it was you who did the boil hex on Noah, hm?”

Michael blinked when Nerissa questioned him, but he quickly shook his head. “Oh, uh, nothing,” he quickly told her, making a face with the fact that he had been caught staring at her - but, he couldn’t help it. He never wanted to take his eyes off her, and he just wanted to take in every small detail about Nerissa and her behaviors and mannerisms, and everything else. He wanted to memorize it all and he never wanted to miss a single moment of her. “Nothing at all.” Offering a smile as he watched her for a few moments, chewing on his lip but he nodded to her suggestion. “Sure, studying sounds just fine with me. What would you prefer to study, hm? Charms? Potions? Transfiguration?” He didn’t quite care what they studied or what they did, so long as he got to be around her, as long as she was there. That was all he could ever ask for, it was all he ever wanted - well, not all, but it was what he would settle for, for now, because he wasn’t entirely sure he could ever admit to what he really wanted between the two of them. “Oh?” Grinning slightly, he arched a brow as he examined her for a few moments. “Are you sure? I certainly wouldn’t mind carrying you down the stairs, Nerissa,” he teased lightly, nudging her, but he followed her, anyway.

Ashton's eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he heard Honoria's rebuttal. "I don't need a reason to care, Honoria, I just do." Ashton spoke gently, but firmly. And God, he did care, more than he could ever tell the beauty. He hoped that she would wittle down his concern to nothing more than his usual behaviour with his own friends, but he realised he stood, a little out of character. Toying with his lip, Ashton couldn't help but grin. "I'm sure Lily will survive." Ashton teased, unable to help himself as he studied Honoria, sure that for a brief moment, she seemed amused, almost. When Ashton saw the way Honoria bit her lip, however, he felt all remaining attempts of trying not to fall harder in love with her melt away, and he smiled weakly. "Thank you," And Ashton knew his words held a double meaning, because he still had a sneaking suspicion it was her that healed him - but as much as he wanted to, he couldn't just lean in and kiss her. Just as he went to turn away, Ashton felt Honoria grab the sleeve of his robe, and his heart almost burst in his chest. When she began to call him by his first name though, Ashton smiled a dimpled smile, looking to Honoria with bright, hazel eyes. "I trust you, you know, that I won't get killed?" Ashton raised an eyebrow. "I'll keep an eye out, Honoria. See you later."

Isadora offered a weak smile when Calum looked to her, and seeing his brows furrow, she couldn't help but feel like her heart had skipped a beat. Taking a moment to appreciate every beautiful feature, Isadora cleared her throat to snap herself out of her thoughts, not wanting to get lost in them and make a fool of herself in front of the most gorgeous boy in school. As Calum stepped nearer, Isadora fought the urge to hold her breath, and the smell of Calum's cologne almost intoxicated her. "I just..." Isadora bit her lip, shrugging her shoulders lightly. "Wanted to thank you, actually." She peered up at him. "I know it was you that hexed Felix. There's no way in Hell you'd look this smug for no reason." Isadora smiled weakly, ducking her head a little. "I don't know why you did it, but thank you." Isadora gently squeezed Calum's arm. "I think he looked better with the boils, anyway." She smirked, before walking past Calum to wait for Elise at the bottom of the stairs.

Luke watched as Isadora and Calum spoke, but when Elise made her way over to him, Luke felt his heart jumping for joy, and he tried his best to outwardly remain cool. Leaning against the wall, Luke nodded. "Weasley." He greeted in return, although he wanted nothing more than to wrap his arms around her and pull her close, and he refrained from doing just that. However, Luke did allow himself to indulge in the sound of Elise's voice - he was sure, this was the first time - in the longest time - that there had been no hostility towards them, and Luke decided it was something he could get used to, quite easily. When Elise continued to speak, Luke's grin spread across his face, despite his best efforts. "I'm always pleased with myself." He teased, but seeing her pondering on her thoughts, Luke bit his lip. When Elise accused him of hexing Noah however, Luke's grin broadened and he nodded. "Sorry about that. He and I have some history," Luke lied expertly. "We go way back. I hate the little slimeball."

Nerissa smiled softly, fondly watching Michael as he pulled a slight face, and Nerissa couldn't hold back her giggle, shaking her head in amusement. "C'mon, you." Nerissa spoke softly, internally groaning at the way Michael chewed on his lip, already so full and so kissable. Blushing, Nerissa got the thought of her head quickly, and she stuck close by to Michael. "Potions?" Nerissa offered with a grin. "We can get a little ahead, get Snape off our backs." She pulled a slight face with the mention of the greasy Potions teacher. But Nerissa knew she wouldn't be studying, she just wanted an excuse to stay around the boy with Lilac hair. "Michael, you're tall. If you dropped me down the tower stairs, I'd certainly die." Nerissa teased, nudging him carefully.

Honoria did her best to hide her amusement as she listened to Ashton and, watching him, she offered a small nod. “I wouldn’t dare let you get killed, Irwin,” she told him easily in response, trying to avoid letting herself show how seriously she meant what she said. “See ya.” Offering a small nod, she bit back a smile before she turned back around, standing to her tiptoes to try to spot tufts of red hair, though she found herself running over the conversation in her mind, wondering idly whether Ashton meant it, whether he truly did care, and, that led her to further wonder about why he cared. Spotting Fred and George, though, she quickly pushed the thoughts aside for later reflection before she quickly rushed over to them. “Fred, George,” she greeted, arching a brow, glad that many students were already disappearing to whatever they had to do next. “Are we going to do this or not?”

George had been talking animatedly with Fred, going over what they were going to ask in return for giving a Slytherin a few Sugar Hexes. They’d both already made their decision and come to terms that it was, by far, a brilliant request and that it shouldn’t be too hard to get Honoria to agree to the terms, if she was as desperate for the Sugar Hexes as she had seemed to be earlier. Hearing Honoria’s voice cut through the conversation, though, he arched a brow, peering down at the girl as she’d reached them. “Well, hello to you, too, Honoria,” he greeted with faint amusement, “Are we skipping pleasantries and getting straight to business, then?” By her words, it certainly seemed so and, for a moment, he peered at his brother before he looked back at the girl. “In that case, I suppose we should get the ball rolling and discuss the price you’ll have to pay for Fred’s and my help, yes?” He grinned.

Calum was mildly surprised when he saw the smile on Isadora’s features, shaken by it, his heart skipping a beat, because he couldn’t remember the last time he’d seen Isadora smile while she was talking to him - and he fully intended to enjoy every single moment of it while he could, swearing that, while it was weak, it was a sight he truly wanted to cherish. As he listened to her speak, though, he felt a smirk form on his features and he tilted his head slightly. “Well, I can’t deny that I did that,” he confirmed easily, lifting his shoulders in a slight shrug. “I’ve never quite been his biggest fan and I figured today was as good a day as any to show him just how much disdain I have towards him.” Especially when he was moving in on Isadora; Calum simply couldn’t allow that without trying to do everything he could to stop it. Feeling her squeeze his arm, though, he swore his heart was about to burst in his chest and he chewed on his lip for a moment but smirked. “I’m glad you think so.” He fell silent, though, when Isadora moved past him and, turning, he watched her, unable to help it.

Elise offered an amused look as she watched Luke lean against the wall and, for a moment, she couldn’t bring herself to tear her gaze away from him - and, really, in this moment, she didn’t even want to. She just wanted to enjoy this moment while she could, certain she wouldn’t get the chance to experience moments like this all that often with him, especially since he was so intent on tormenting her all the time. Seeing his grin, she felt a warmth fill her that she hadn’t really been accustomed to, and she shifted but offered an amused look, accepting his teasing without a complaint, because, for once, it wasn’t cruel or condescending, and it seemed genuinely playful. “Yeah? Since when? I can’t recall you two ever arguing or picking fights with each other or even really talking, for that matter.” Shifting, she stepped closer to him, examining him for a moment. “For whatever reason you did it, it was worth seeing.” Offering a small, amused smile, she moved past him to join Isadora. “Ready?”

Michael grinned slightly as he watched her before he nodded. “I’m coming, I’m coming,” he assured her with faint amusement, taking her in, though seeing the sight of her blushing honestly made his heart swell, his grin broadening, but he tried not to be too obvious about it and instead nodded to her suggestion. “Alright, Potions it is. Perhaps this is our chance to get ahead of Snape’s lessons, show him what for.” He smirked with the thought, admittedly hopeful for the idea, because Snape was such a rotten man and Michael loved the thought of proving that they weren’t as useless as Snape tended to make everybody but Slytherins out to be. As he registered what Nerissa had said, though, he couldn’t help but to chuckle lowly, and he grinned broadly at her, unable to help it. “I would never drop you, Nerissa,” he assured her quietly, nudging her gently in return as he examined her, meaning every word he said with everything in him, “I promise. You should know that by now.”

Ashton blinked in surprise when he heard Honoria's promise. Toying with his lip, he couldn't help the grin that spread across his features, his dimples prominent against his cheeks. "I can't do much," Ashton murmured, looking over his shoulder. "But I wouldn't let anything happen to you either, you know." Ashton promised quietly, his chest aflame with adoration for the girl that didn't even know how loved she was by him. Walking away, Ashton grinned, swearing that the happiness meant he could skip to his next class. Seeing Isadora and Elise, Ashton caught up, wrapping his arms around their shoulders. "Oi, you two were slow leaving." He greeted, unable to shake off the happiness he felt - not that he wanted to. Honoria had the most incredible affect on him, and Ashton wanted to welcome it with open arms. Ashton couldn't help but wonder, with it being the second civilised conversation they'd had in years, if it meant that Honoria was turning a new leaf.

Fred focused his gaze as he heard Honoria's voice, and grinning, Fred looked to his twin. "No manners on you, ey?" Fred teased. "I thought you usually said hello to people, that's the polite way." Fred teased the younger Slytherin, clearly amused. "Mind you George, skipping pleasantries is the best idea." Fred cleared his throat. "All we ask for these," he held up a small, black velvet pouch, full of hexes disguised as fudge. "Is that you introduce us to Nancy and Lucy Lovelis - their in Slytherin, but in mine and George's year." Rolling on the balls of his feet almost impatiently, Fred studied Honoria. "Next purchase will be a fiver, though." He teased.

Isadora smiled and nodded to Elise, giggling as Ashton caught up, wrapping an arm around his middle. Looking to Calum over her shoulder, Isadora offered a sweet smile, raising her free hand to wave at him before following her friends' lead. Trying to bite back the smile that threatened to take over, Isadora almost couldn't quite believe that the whole interaction with Calum happened. Feeling her heart beat quickly in her chest, Isadora let her smile win, and she sighed happily. "You know, I think today's gonna be a good day, even with everything that's happened this morning." Isadora admitted to her friends, looking over with a grin, not caring if her friends began to cotton on to her love for Calum, it was as natural as the transition from night to day for her. "Hogwarts really does feel like home, hm?"

Luke had never imagined that he would be this close to Elise, and he couldn't help the happiness that spread through him, something so incredible, something he'd never felt before. Luke had everything anyone could of wanted, and yet, the thing - the person - he wanted the most was right in front of him, and Luke silently decided life would only be complete when Elise belonged to him. Seeing Elise's amused glance, Luke's smile grew. "Since first year." Luke lied quite easily. "Noah's a nasty little sod, even for me, it's not easy to dislike him. Contrary to popular belief, Elise, I don't hate everyone." And when Elise stepped closer, Luke was certain he could smell Elise's perfume, and he tried his hardest not to let it affect him. "Maybe I should pick more fights with him in front of you." Luke teased, and if Noah continued to speak to Elise, he would. Biting his lip with Elise's words, Luke nodded. "Bye, Elise." Luke called as she moved past him, his heart practically doing jumping jacks in his chest. Catching up to Calum, Luke grinned. "God, I love that girl."

Nerissa grinned when she saw Michael's amusement, clear on his features. Holding his arm, Nerissa could feel the heat of Michael's skin through his school shirt, and she was so sure she would be love drunk by the time they reached the bottom of the tower. "He deserves someone to knock him down a peg or two." Nerissa grinned, understanding the collective dislike everybody but the Slytherins seemed to have for the Professor. "I know you wouldn't drop me," Nerissa promised. "But it would look a little silly, you carrying me down the tower like a rescued Princess." Nerissa laughed, gently nudging Michael again, looking to him as he promised his words, and she bit her lip, blushing. "Go on then."

Honoria was mildly surprised to hear Ashton’s words and, for a few long moments, she found herself processing what he’d said, her heart swelling in a way she didn’t want to admit to. Smiling to herself, she tried to focus on what Fred and George were saying, but she blinked slowly when she registered their request. “Wait, Nancy and Lucy Lovelis?” she asked with mild shock, watching them for a moment, running the request over in her mind. “Oh, my God, you two have crushes on them, don’t you?” It was the only reason they’d ask to be introduced to the girls, she was certain, especially since every Gryffindor seemed so against Slytherins. “That’s so cute!” Grinning despite herself, she watched the pair of them. “I can’t really blame you, though. They’re sweethearts. I’ll happily introduce you to them.”

George made a face with Honoria’s words as he was tempted to reach out to clasp his hand over her mouth, worried she’d be too loud and the whole castle would know. He wasn’t ashamed of his crush on Nancy - far from it, actually, - but he didn’t want word to get to Nancy before George could open up about his crush on her himself. “Oi, could you be any louder?” he asked, arching a brow as he examined her, trying to pretend he wasn’t too worried, though he did find himself peering around to make sure that nobody was paying any attention to them. But, still, he nodded to Honoria’s words. “But, since you’re agreeing -” He grinned slightly, admittedly feeling relief flash through him as he peered towards his brother before he settled his gaze back on Honoria, “- Yeah, we do. But if you rat us out before we can say so to them ourselves, no more deals.”

Elise blinked when she felt an arm around her shoulders and, peering up at Ashton, she arched an amused brow. “We were busy talking,” she offered up in response, shrugging slightly, though she felt a lot lighter than she had felt in quite some time, admittedly relieved to know that things were going pretty well today. “You seem to be in a better mood since this morning,” she teased lightly, nudging Ashton before she looked to Isadora and nodded slightly. “I agree,” she chimed happily, grinning broadly at Isadora as she watched her friends, glad to see them both so much more cheerful compared to earlier, and she knew they all deserved some happiness after how the morning had gone. Her heart eased when she heard Isadora’s words, though, and she nodded slowly. “It really does. I love it.”

Calum watched Isadora leave, chewing on his lip when he heard Isadora’s laugh filtering through the corridors, and he grinned slightly, swearing it was the sweetest sound, a sound he wanted to always hear, and he wished he could be the cause of it, that he could elicit such a sound. Normally, seeing that she was laughing after Ashton had joined her, he would have been jealous, but after the conversation just moments ago, and the fact that it was such a gentle, amusing conversation compared to their usual arguments and tauntings and such, made it hard to be jealous in that moment when he was so happy instead. “I know what you mean,” he said quietly, grinning broadly at his friend. “Isadora’s perfection - Merlin, I love her.” He kept his voice quiet, though, not wanting to attract attention to them. “That was certainly the best conversation I’ve had in a long time.” And he knew the major reason was because it was with Isadora.

Michael grinned broadly down at Nerissa, unable to help it, especially when he saw the grin on her own features and felt her holding to his arm. He knew there was nothing in the world that could make the moment any better other than if he had Nerissa as his. Knowing that wasn’t possible, though, because he knew everything between them was platonic, he allowed himself to enjoy this while he could. “He does,” he agreed with a nod, shrugging slowly. “He certainly deserves to know that he’s not perfect.” He snorted with the thought before he shrugged slowly, though he felt his heart swelling when he heard her confirm that she knew he wouldn’t drop her. “I don’t think it would look silly at all,” he teased, winking lightly, though hearing her grant him permission, he couldn’t help but to grin. “Alright, here we go,” he told her before he bent to gently pick her up to carry her down the stairs carefully.
