Kylie could stand there and explain what she knew about the soulmate bond all day long but that wouldn’t help her in the long run if she’d never experienced it before, because how could she even sure she knew what she was talking about. When she felt Thor’s lips crash against her own and her body be pressed against his as if their lives depended on it she felt things she’d never felt before. She had to will herself away from by pushing on his shoulder just to break the kiss so she could breath properly. And she hadn’t wanted to ever end that kiss. It was the easily the best kiss she’d ever received. The kiss was laced with so much passion and hunger yet was so sweet that Kylie hadn’t wanted it to ever end, but she had to breath so she could kiss him again in the future.

She nodded her head at his words, “I do,” she said softly with a smile on her face. “And I will happily go anywhere you want me to,” she added letting out a content sigh of happiness. Simply standing so close to him and feeling the warmth radiate off his body gave her comfort. Any uncertainty she’d had before about Thor or how they would work, or what their future would look like melted away. This was her soulmate and she didn’t ever want to be apart from him, and she felt like he felt the same about her. Who cares that he was a God and a prince who came from Asgard and that she was a simple mortal girl who held no royal status. They were forever bound together and nothing would be let between them.

“I know we technically just met, and that this is all still very new to me at least, but I feel like I should just go with it,” she said softly. “I love you. More than I knew was possible. And I know I’m only twenty seven so probably not nearly as long as you but even though until we met I’d thought my Soulmark was a joke I have felt a yearning for you, an ache in my heart that what if I never met you? What if you weren’t real and I’d fallen so in love with the idea of you from what I’ve studied that it simply manifested into this. But here you are, in the flesh, and I don’t think I could ever let you go,”
“Maybe I should let them catch me,” Bucky said feeling his other half flinch at the thought of being captured by The Avengers. But right now Bucky felt more in control than he had in a while. “I mean I’ve done so many awful things, hurt so many people. I probably deserve whatever punishment they see fit,” he said sighing. This was the most complicated things had been for him in nearly 70 years.

He smiled at her happy to soak up the moment for as long as he could before finally nodding his head. “Answers would be nice, not even just that they might be helpful,” he said wondering if she would even have an answer for everything, but he supposed be wouldn’t know until he asked either. “And I have a lot of questions.” He told her wanting her to know that Bucky didn’t want to be the winter soldier. He wanted to be himself again. He’d never wanted to be the monster Hydra has turned him into. “And if you know of any way to get my brain functioning on only one personality that would be fantastic,” he said sighing again.

Bucky felt that he would probably have this monster living in him forever. He was worried he’d always have this other guy living in him on the verge of breaking lose and always willing to take back Bucky’s life. Because he was a soldier on a mission not some sap who was supposed to settle down. And that sounded like the most tiring battle Bucky could think of.

[ I also hope this was okay! Again I’m on my phone and wanted to get something out before I left for work! ]

"I've heard so many stories of what soulmates are supposed to do when they meet their mates but I have no idea what is the right way," Thor spoke, his face scrunching a bit as the woman in front of him spoke. He didn't like the idea of not having answers, of not being able to provide for her. He was the God of Thunder, God of fertility, he wanted to do anything and everything that he could to provide for her. And in the future, he would. Once they had figured out what they were going to do with their lives, Thor would be the mate that Kylie deserved. He would always be by her side, he would provide for her, he would make sure that she never desired for anything in the world. As Thor Odinson's soulmate, Thor would see to it that Kylie was pampered. The thought brought a grin to his face, even if he didn't necessarily understand what pampering meant to a woman.

To him, it was a warm bath followed by oils being massaged into his sore back after a long day. His hair brushed out and braided with beads in the brads; decorating his hair to show his status. He didn't have hands or feet that he cared for in the way he thought women did. Would Kylie be like him, would she even care about those things? Thor wondered and he wanted to ask her all those questions and so many more. But they had their lives ahead of them, they had all the time in the world to begin making up for wasted time. Thor let out a small sigh as he pressed his forehead against hers, cupping both of her cheeks in his hands.

"We must return to Asgard shortly," Thor commented, tilting his head slightly. "There is the matter of tending to my brother's trial. He needs to be punished for the crimes he committed here on Earth and," Thor straightened, his shoulders squaring. He let out a low growl at the thought alone before he finished his sentence. "What he almost did to you. He's lucky that I didn't end him then and there," he hissed, his anger spiking all over again at the thought. Thor exhaled, willing himself to calm down. He didn't want to scare Kylie... or upset her. Losing her was the last thing that he wanted. He was a strong man but he didn't know if he was that strong.

"Do you... have things you must do before we depart? You need not worry about clothing, the seamstresses will be working on your wardrobe upon our arrival," Thor said, knowing that by the end of the first day of being Asgard, Kylie would be whisked away for measurements to be taken. so that she could be dressed as one of the royals.
Josephine was shaking her head even before Bucky had finished speaking. She stood straighter, her eyes narrowing a bit as she glared up at the man in front of her. "No," she gave a hard reply, not caring if it went against every last one of her instincts. She wasn't supposed to tell an alpha what to do, she was supposed to listen to what she was told... not the one taking charge of a situation. Huffing, Josephine tried to relax even just a bit. She could smell the stress rolling off of Bucky and the last thing that she wanted to do was add to that in any way. She only wanted to provide love and comfort and be home to him.

She chewed on her bottom lip as she looked up to him. "I don't know... I don't know anything about what is going on with you but that.. it's not the James I knew," she murmured, forcing back the tears that threatened to fill her eyes. "The James that I know is a loving, attentive, honourable man," she stated, a bit of a prideful smile taking over her features. She couldn't control it, she loved Bucky more than she thought she could ever love another person. Alpha or no alpha.

Josephine balled her hands up, shoving them into her pockets to keep from reaching out to Bucky. She wanted to touch him to provide herself comfort but that was selfish and she couldn't do that right now. "We can.. can get moving whenever you're ready," she paused, raising an eyebrow. "It might be better if we get a move on now. If Hydra is going to be after us, it's better if we arrive in Wakanda sooner rather than later. We will be safe there."

Kylie shook her head, "I don't think I really have anything that needs to be done," she said biting her lip as she tried really hard to think everything through. She knew they didn't have a lot of time before they needed to leave for Asgard so it wasn't even like she would have that much time. "I think I'm good," she told him knowing one thing for sure, that she didn't want to be away from him. She didn't want him to take off for Asgard and leave her behind. And maybe she should tell someone here on earth what was going on, where she would be, or even how they could get in touch with her if they needed her but she didn't see the point. If she told any of her friends, or her mom in person that she was about to run off to Asgard with Thor Odinson because he was her soulmate they'd probably think she was insane. Even though everyone now knew he was real because he'd been all over the news they wouldn't believe her. They might've been tried to stop her and she couldn't have that. Nothing was going to come between herself and Thor, nothing.

"Holy shit," she said realizing something rather big, Thor was a prince. And if he was a prince that meant that his father was the king, which also meant that when his father died Thor would be the king. Thor becoming king could only mean one thing for her, she'd be the queen. Kylie would eventually be the queen of Asgard, the queen. Sure at maybe five years old she'd run around pretending to be a princess or a queen, and yea she'd won homecoming queen her junior year of high school but those were totally different. Thor was eventually going to be the king of an entire kingdom. Asgard was very much from her understanding an absolute monarchy where the king and queen had pull power or how things were run, and all she could think about that was that she'd never imagined her life would take this turn.

"Sorry," she said shaking her head and sighed, "it just kind of hit me that you're the prince of Asgard and that typically princes marry princess' and then they become kings and queens, and they rule entire kingdoms and um I'm not a princess. I also don't really know anything about ruling any kind of kingdom. Though I suppose if your father is anything like The Queen of England you may never get to rule anyway," she said laughing at her own joke and mentally hitting herself because he probably didn't even know who The Queen of England was or why she was laughing about it.
Bucky raised a brow at the mention of somewhere called Wakanda, it sounded like somewhere totally made up, but he had a feeling that Josie wouldn't lie to him about something like this. Especially considering that she'd come all this way just to see him knowing that he could easily kill her if his evil side decided to come out and play. Though he didn't want that so hopefully it didn't happen. "To Wakanda," he said nodding his head happy to go wherever she pointed him if it meant he'd get answers and help. Those were the two things he wanted most right now. "We can go now I suppose then," he said biting his lip. "I mean I don't really have anything to pack so I can literally take off whenever and since you're the one who knows where we're going take the lead," he said motioning for her to walk out the door and he'd follow her.

He knew this had to be odd for her because even he knew that Omegas didn't take charge, they just listened to their alphas and did as they were told. They were the submissive ones yet here he was an alpha letting an omega take charge. He was letting her lead him, but he truly didn't know what else to do since he didn't have any answers and she seemed to have all the answers, or at least she knew someone who did. Why would he pass that up though? Why would anyone who'd been brainwashed by Hydra and just wanted to un-brainwash themselves pass up on the opportunity to do that? He didn't care that he was an alpha currently following an omega, he just cared that this omega was hopefully leading him somewhere safe where he would also get answers to the million questions he had.

"Thank you for remembering the best of me," he told her softly finding it hard to believe that this girl had truly loved him that much. He couldn't believe really that after all this time she'd kept some insane promise to only love him. He could only imagine how hard it's probably been for her to live all these years without the love of her life only to realize that he was still alive, just not so much still the man she'd fallen in love with. But he was thankful that there were at least two people who remembered the best of him, the parts of him that he couldn't even remember. He hoped that would make things a little easier, but he wasn't sure that was the case because nothing really seemed to be going right for him exactly.

    {a post that isn't teeth lmfao lord help us.. gonna try to get myself completely caught up but after this post, i still have seven posts and it's already midnight. ughhh... wish me luck }

Thor whirled around to face Kylie in full when she spoke, his alarm growing at the look on her face. His brows pulled together as he stood tall. "What is wrong, my love?" He asked, unable to contain his laughter when he realized that Kylie's alarm was only because she was realizing who he was. What he was going to one day be - the king of Asgard. Which only meant one thing for Kylie's fate. She would rule by his side, in a kingdom foreign to her. In the back of his mind, Thor was concerned over that but he was almost positive that there was no way that the fates would tie someone to him if they weren't capable of standing beside him. How cruel would that be? For the fates to make him wait nearly a thousand years before bringing his soulmate to him, only to learn that they could never be together because she was unable to hold up to the pressure of being Thor Odinson's other half.

"That is nothing to fear," Thor said, shaking his head slowly. He tilted his head to the side, confused by the joke that she had made but he thought nothing of it. He was more concerned about showing her that he had all the faith in the world in Kylie's ability. Thor had spent his entire life dreaming of her, she was like a Goddess in her own right, as far as Thor was concerned. His opinion was all that really mattered because who was going to tell Thor who he could or could not wed? No one, not even his father. And even if the King tried, Thor would not listen. Not when it would have meant giving up his soulmate.

"I do not know how to rule, I have no experience," Thor said, his face scrunching a bit. "At most, I know how to lead a battle. Not a country," he said, trying his hardest to calm her fear. Thor wasn't used to a relationship, he'd never been in one before. Let alone with a human. He had no clue how they operated, what their needs were beyond anything basic. Thor swallowed hte lump that formed in his throat at the thought.

"Are you ready to see your new home, for the first time?" Thor asked, holding his breathe as he waited for her answer. He knew what it would be but still, he wanted to hear it from her before he whisked them away to the world that he'd always called home.
Josephine was a force to be reckoned with even on her worst days, solely because she had focused all of her energy on learning how to be effective on the battlefield. It was strange because omegas weren't supposed to fight, they weren't supposed to go against an alpha, and they certainly weren't supposed to be able to actually beat an alpha in combat. But Josephine had taken that pain that settled in her body after she lost Bucky and she had focused that energy forward because she had nothing else she could do. She had lost him, she had lost their baby, she needed something for her to be able to focus on.

Giving a nod of her head, Josephine turned to lead the way back out of the hotel room. "We should take your car. Tony's going to be tracking mine as soon as they realize that I'm gone. It'll give us more of a headstart to get where we need to go," she said, running her tongue over her bottom lip. She was sure that Tony would be angry with her when he realized what Josephine was planning but she'd always known that she would do anything for her alpha. Josephine had been lost him once, she didn't think that she could handle losing him a second time.

"I thought I had lost you before," Josephine explained in a low voice. For the briefest of moments, she had thought about telling him about their baby. But that pan was still so raw that she didn't want to talk about it even now. And what good would it do for her to tell him that secret now? It would do nothing but create unnecessary tension between the pair of them. "I won't do it again. I don't know... I don't even think I want to know what you've been through but I don't do it again. I'll tear Hydra down, bit by bit with my bare hands if I have to. Whatever it takes," Josephine spoke simply. "You will have to learn that if I was stubborn before, I am as unwavering as a mountain now."

Josephine lifted her chin as she slid into the driver seat, wasting no time as she sped away from the hotel. "This trip is going to take almost an hour... if you have questions you want to ask, you can do it now," she murmured, glancing toward him for a moment.

[ good luck! And yea last night I went to bed around midnight but I have to work today so I needed sleep lol. ]

Kylie smiled at Thor feeling a little relief that he didn’t know how to rule either, thinking about how they would learn to rule a kingdom together made her feel better. It made her feel like she was already a part of his world even though she had never been to Asgard before. And Kylie was going to learn how to rule his people, though that would make them her people too. It was a little overwhelming thinking about their future so she decided to just focus on the here and now for the time being. She didn’t want to bring herself down by thinking she wasn’t enough.

She nodded her head and took his hand, “I’m ready,” she told him not sure what to expect since she’d never been to Asgard and she was sure it was much different than what she’d always imagined it to be like. Though she’d only imagined it based on what she’d read and there was no telling how true to Asgard her books had been.

“It’s breathtaking,” Kylie said softly once they’d arrived to Asgard and she was witnessing it firsthand. It was more beautiful than she’d ever imagined it would be, and even if something happened and Thor was the only person who wanted her there she wasn’t sure she’d want to leave. Kylie has been to beautiful places before because earth held some pretty breathtakingly beautiful things, but those were nothing in comparison to this.
“This place were going, do you really believe they can help me?” Bucky asked hoping that wherever they were going it would be helpful because he wanted to be normal again. Or at least as normal as a person could after all the shit he’d been through and will a fully metal arm. But he knew little to nothing of Wakada or the people who inhabited it.

He’d heard of Wakanda briefly from Hydra but it was all very fuzzy memories that didn’t make sense to him. “And how do you know about this place we’re going again?” He asked her wondering how she knew so much. He wasn’t complaining because he knew that she could be trusted so he trusted her, but he was curious as how she even knew how. Clearly things had changed for her in the last 70 years but he shouldn’t expect anything less. No one was going to stay the same for that long, especially not people like them who’d been through hell and back it would seem.

Bucky wanted to ask her questions, he wanted to know about everything he’d missed but he didn’t know where to begin, he didn’t know what to ask, and honestly he was still questioning his relationship with her from all that time ago. He was still very unsure of how things had been or what either of them would want from one another now. He didn’t even know if he really even had anything to offer her. He was a pretty broken man who was very dangerous in stressful situations still so why would she even want to be with him now? He was broken.

Thor's arm snaked around Kylie's waist, pulling her to his chest. He smiled down at her, pressing a reassuring kiss to her forehead before he raised Mjölnir. "Heimdall, bring us home," Thor called, his grip tightening on Kylie's waist as they started to move just a few moments later. He had added 'us' so that his friend would not be alarmed when two came through the portal. Thor landed on his feet, the added weight of Kylie against his chest made him stumble a few times before he caught them both.

Heimdall was like a brother to Thor; one that wasn't always so into lying and thievery like his actual brother. Clearing his throat as he turned toward Heimdall, Thor's face broke into a wide grin as he took a slight step backward to reveal Kylie in all of her glory. "This is..." Thor trailed off, his eyes bright and excited despite the tragedy on Earth. "Kylie Lambert," he said. Everyone knew that name that was etched into Thor's wrist so he wasn't surprised when Heimdall's eyes widened. It also wasn't hard for the other man to realize that Kylie was of Earth - she didn't belong in Asgard.

"I am tired. If Father comes lookng, please tell him that I have returned to my chambers for the evening and that I will join him once I have relaxed," Thor stated. He turned, his hand settling on Kylie's lower back as he began to lead the way toward the castle. He was hoping they could manage to get to his chambers before anyone spotted them, Thor wanted Kylie to himself for just a little while longer before he had to tend to the duties he couldn't ignore he had wanted to.
Josephine wanted to ease Bucky's concerns but she also knew that she had to be honest with him. As much as she was hopeful that the people of Wakanda would be able to help Bucky, she wasn't completely certain. All she could do was be hopeful that they would be able to help Bucky. Even if, in the end, Bucky didn't want to be with her, Josephine would accept it. All that she wanted was to know that Bucky was happy and safe. She had lived her life for so long without him that just knowing he was alive, that's all she really wanted in her life.

Glancing toward him, Josephine flashed a tiny smile. "I learned of this place during one of the battles that took place in New York. Since, they have worked closely with the Avengers. We help them, they help us... wherever the help is needed. They hold quite a bit of technology that not even Tony is able to replicate," she explained quietly. The moment that she had realized that Bucky was still around, Josephine had wracked her brain as she tried to figure out a way that could help Bucky.

She exhaled, beginning to bounce her other leg. It was obvious that Josephine's mind was starting to drift but she was doing her best to stay calm. She didn't want to give Bucky anything else to carry. He already had so much pain and troubles to carry on his shoulders. "I know that you're probably... unsure and whatever but I want you to know that in the end, I'm doing this to help you. I don't care what that means for us because so long as you're able to have yourself back, that's all I really want, Buck. After that, it doesn't really matter one way or another to me. Okay?"

Kylie had no idea where she was supposed to be going or where anything was and so she let Thor lead her to his chambers taking in as much as she could along the way. She was sure that the following days, until things with Loki were figured out and finally settled down, Thor would be too busy with his duties as a member of the royal family and no time to really spend with her. Aside from maybe brief morning cuddles or evenings winding down after a long day she had a feeling she might not even see much of him at all. Kylie would be okay with that though because at least she was here on Asgard with him and not on earth miles away unable to even sense him. She didn't want to willingly leave his side at all but she would rather leave his side on the same planet as him than be separated literally by space and time.

"So how long do you think we really have alone together?" Kylie asked turning to look at Thor as they walked into his room, shutting the door behind them. She felt like he'd been moving quickly so they wouldn't be seen by anyone, which she understood. He'd literally brought a woman of the earth to their planet and she stuck out like a sore thumb. There was no way people here were going to think that she should be here, which was why she was so determined to prove to everyone that she did. If Thor did marry her then she would be their queen, and she wanted to prove to the people of Asgard that she could do that. That she was worthy of ruling by Thor's side and of being his soulmate. Why else would destiny have fated them together? Unless Thor was destined to give up the throne for her and move to earth this was the only road they had. And given Thor was the only son of Odin technically he was in line to be king next even if he didn't want to be.

Kylie looked at Thor "Because we should make the most of our currently limited time together," she said biting her lip. She wanted to really get to know him she wanted him to really get to know her, and by that, she meant in every way they could. They were soulmates, destined to be together so they should know each other. Sure they knew how they felt, and they were figuring out what being mated meant in regards to how their feelings worked, but she wanted to know him. "Ya know, get to really know one another," she told him wanting to dive in head first. Kylie needed to know him, everything there was to know. She wanted to know all his childhood and the relationship he had with Loki just as much as she wanted to tell him all about her own childhood or even her accomplishments in her adult life. She wanted to start building a life with the man in front of her and that included knowing each other's pasts, likes and dislikes, everything there was to know about each other really.
Bucky shifted in his seat before finally settling down and looking over at her, he wished that he could remember more about her and their past together. As it was very obvious for various reasons that there was a history there but he just couldn't remember all of it, and he wished he could. He wanted to, so badly. Bucky had never wanted to remember something so badly as he wanted to remember this. Maybe these people in Wakanda could actually help him, maybe they could keep the monster inside of him at bay but his biggest question was going to be if they could help him regain his lost memories back. Because if they could help him sort through the last seventy years and piece things together again, well, he'd owe them big time. So he hoped that they could be helpful and the closer to their destination they got the more anxious he started to feel.

"I am very unsure of a lot of things right now," he said nodding his head. "Hopefully though after meeting with them I'll feel better," he said wanting her to know that he also wanted to be hopeful. Bucky truly hadn't wanted anything more than to be himself and no one else for a long time now and he'd been denied that for so long that being this close to possibly getting what he'd wanted for this long felt almost too good to be true. It felt as if at any moment something was going to come and snatch everything away from him. That's what monsters did, and he had worked for a group of monsters.

"I'm also very thankful that you're taking this chance for me," he told her rubbing his neck. He knew that she was making a major chance on him right now, one that could get her into a lot of trouble he was sure. After all, she was aided and abetting a known and wanted criminal of the state so he could only imagine the consequences she could face for that one so it meant a lot to him that she was so willing to put her freedom and her life on the line for him. Especially when he could barely remember who he was let alone who she was to him.
