Tristan shrugged. “I think business, but not sure. He talks too fast to follow most of the time,” he admitted. He watched her curiously, noticing her hiding behind her hair. He leaned into the table and looked at her face. He didn’t want her to be scared or afraid to talk with him. Tristan wanted to tuck her hair back so that he could get a better look at her face. But he didn’t want to startle her too much so he refrained for a second.
“Uh, when I turned seventeen. My cousin is a tattoo artist, and he offered to give me one,” Tristan replied looking down at his arms. He remembered how his parents yelled when they found out about it. It obviously didn’t stop him from getting more. He had his arms tattooed up and he was thinking about getting more. “Uh, yeah. Let’s get some,” he said, standing up. He made sure that he had his wallet and followed her up to the counter.
