Cora ran a hand through her hair as she walked into the Mystic Grill to start her shift. It was the last place she had wanted to be, actually her plan had been to get out of Mystic falls and run as far as she could. It had never really felt like home to her, though she never could figure out why.

Being a Lockwood there had always been a lot of attention, Cora was thankful for her younger brother Tyler. Tyler seemed to eat the attention up, which left little for her. As she was weaving her way through the tables, Cora ran smack into someone’s chest, “Shit! I’m so sorry.” Cora apologized as she looked up and locked eyes with Damon Salvatore.

Stefan was relieved to walk into the house and realize that Damon was no where to be seen. The older of the brothers always tended to cause him more stress than he was willing to admit. Of course, deep down Stefan was happy to have Damon around.

Though they had a rocky past, Stefan knew they would always end up in the same place. He made his way into the living room and sat down, just enjoying the peace and quiet that seemed to be so rare to find in Mystic Falls.

Charlotte made her way to the Salvatore house. Her and Stefan were partners on a history project together. She of course heard the rumors but paid no mind to them. Her family had a history as wel, being hunters. She pulled up to the manor and knocked. Her eyes wandered as she waited since this was the first time she saw the manor up close

Damon relaxed at a table, looking around Mystic Grill. He was bored and was just passing time. He was about to get up and leave when Cora ran into him. Normally he would be pissed but since it was Cora. “It’s alright don’t worry about it” he said with a charming smile. Cora was someone he always had an eye on. She was gorgeous and he wanted her so badly. “What time do you get off tonight?” He asked out of curiosity.

Cora was relieved that Damon had been so nice. Seeing the smile on his face, she couldn’t help looking away. She pushed a stray piece of hair behind her ear before looking back at him, “I get off at seven.” Cora didn’t think that she had caught Damon’s attention, but now she was curious what he could possibly want.

Stefan had been expecting Charlotte any minute so when he heard the knock at the door, he quickly walked over and opened it. He knew Charlotte’s family history very well, so he was going to try his best to get through this without raising her suspicions. As he opened the door, he smiled and took a step back, “Hi Charlotte, please come in.”
