Temptation |Closed RP|

Willa was nervous for her last class of the day. She had been hearing rumors about how strict the teacher could be. College was already overwhelming her, and she hadn't even finished the first day. She had come a small town on the other side of the state and lived in a small city. Then it hadn't helped that she had grown up on a farm. The large city was a shock to her, but she wanted to be a physical therapist. This was the best school in the state that offered what she wanted.

Willa stepped into the classroom and saw Professor Jackson. He had dark hair and a short beard. She noticed the almost welcoming air that was in the room, and she felt bad for thinking that he was strict. As she came further in the room, she could see stress in his eyes. She went up and found a spot to sit. She was the first one here, but there were already other people coming in.

Levi sighed as he finished writing up the lecture he planned on going over with his class today. The recent divorce from his now ex wife Hailey, was still playing in his mind.

To make things worse, she also worked at the same university. So Levi tried his best to avoid her at all costs. He looked up as he heard footsteps and saw a beautiful young girl. He gave her a smile when their eyes met but that was it. Soon more students started piling in and Levi checked the time. He’d give everyone five more minutes before he started class.

Willa couldn’t help herself, but she kept looking at the professor. She was just telling herself that he was going to start the lecture soon, but deep down she knew that she knew that he was attractive. Then there was also the fact that she worried about the stress he had. She knew it was none of her business and wasn’t going to ask because she knew that it would be weird.

She leaned down into her back and got out a notebook, so she could take notes. She had one for each class she had, so she knew what to study for each class. She tried to be as organized as she possibly could be.

Levi clapped his hands together, “Alright class, we’re going to go ahead and get started.” He said. “My name is Levi Jackson and you can call me Mr. Jackson or Professor Jackson.” He said, walking around. “I’ll call roll really quick and then we’ll get into our textbooks.” He said.

He started calling off names and got to the last one, “Willa?” He called, his eyes landing on the beautiful blonde up front.

Willa raised her hand up, answering to her name. She was always awkward when the teachers called roll. She had almost always avoided getting the classes attention. She never understood her stage freight. She had always been outgoing, but getting her to go in front of a whole class and give a small presentation was hard.

Willa watched the professor closely. She noticed how he moved and how he talked. She tried to tell herself to stop just staring at him. Her eyes were completely locked on him. It didn't matter if she forced herself to look down at her notepad, trying to tell herself she was just a kid and she had no reason to be attracted to him.

Levi smiled as he got on with the lecture. Soon, it was time for the class to go. “Alright, that’s it for today. If you have any questions, I’m here until 7pm if you want to come by later.” He announced to the class, as he started cleaning off the chalk board.

Willa stood up nervously. She wanted to talk to him for reasons other than the class. She knew that she shouldn’t and that she should just leave. Instead of hesitating as she slowly walked down towards the door because she couldn’t think of a question to ask him.

Levi watched Willa walk away and was going to call out to her but the sound of his phone going off stopped him. He sighed when he saw Hailey’s name pop up. Instead of answering, he pressed ignore and placed his phone in his bag.

Willa gasped when she couldn’t find her phone. She knew she had it when she went into class but didn’t now. She turned and went back, hoping that he hadn’t locked up yet.

Just as Levi was walking out, he noticed Willa speed walking down the hall towards his room. “Is everything okay, Willa?” He asked, about to close and lock his door. She seemed worried and Levi casually glanced behind her to see if someone was following her, that’s how worried she looked.

Willa nodded. “Yeah, I’m okay. I just think that I left my phone in your room,” she said, blushing. She didn’t want him to think that she was a mess or absent-minded. There was something that made her want to look like she had her act together in front of him.
