There were so many people in the mansion, speaking their unfamiliar language. It was a little intimidating, but. Alix practiced, she knew enough Italian to pick up some things. She was a quick learner, having been able to pick up speaking French in a matter of months. Where as, she only had about a month to learn some Italian once she learned she was betrothed to a Italian man. Greetings and small talk were weak, but she could at least say she was still learning in Italian. Her uncle assured her that she could speak English there, but Alix felt like it'd be rude to not speak their native tongue.

A ting of anxiety washed over Alix as she walked through the back doors of the mansion with her uncle to where the party was being held. Her older brother and father couldn't come because her brother was getting married. She was all alone, her uncle, not giving the young girl any reassurance as he looked for her betrothed to introduce them as well as the head of the family. "Ah, there he is." Her uncle Louis said as he spotted an older man heading there way, a younger man following behind. "Louis, hello old friend." The man with a thick italian voice said as he hugged her uncle. The men exchanged pleasentries while Alix stood quietly at her uncle's side. Her gaze flicking to the tall male with brooding eyes before glancing away shyly. "Ah, this must be the beauty that my son shall be marrying soon, no?" The older man, said as he looked Alix over, seeming pleased with what he was seeing. Alix did her best to offer a small polite smile. "Yes, this is my niece, Alixandria." Her uncle said, to which Alix offered a small smile.

Ties were things that Ezra wasn't very happy about wearing. He scowled slightly as he stared at himself in the mirror, his right hand tugging on the strand of fabric as a attempt to loosen it. "Piece of shit." He mumbled once he finally got it to a breathable length that still looked like it was done professionally on him. Then, his dark hazel eyes shifted down towards the glass of scotch he had on a nightstand and picked it up. He switched the slight brown liquid around for a moment before he took a sip before he decided to just down the whole thing. "Let's just get this started." He mumbled to no one but himself as he set his glass onto the tabke before he exited his room and headed down the hall before going downstairs to the main part of the house. People were already gathering for the party, wanting to celebrate the heir of the Davis house getting married to a beauty from another house.

"Ay, there he is! The man of the hour!" Enzo's cousin James exclaimed loudly as he made his way towards the newly engaged heir to the family. A small laugh escaped from Enzo's lips as he hugged his cousin for a moment before pulling back. "Dude, it's an engagement party, not a birthday-." Enzo said, before stopping his words as he smelled alcohol on his cousins breath, realizing that he was already probably drunk. "Alright, why don't you go and get some water before you puke everywhere, yeah?" Enzo suggested to his cousin, hoping that he accepted his idea and prayed that they didn't have to clean the disgusting mess up during his party. It was a night to celebrate before his big day tomorrow. He didn't want to have his mood soured so soon after the party started.

Fleur sat by the window, with her legs crossed underneath her reading a book. She had been in England for a number of days now getting to know her fiance. So far she wasn't hating the change, but it certainly was different to the life she knew back home. Ezra had been lovely to her, and she was grateful for that. It had made this entire transition so much easier, even though she missed home a lot. Her parents would be here until just after the wedding, along with her best friend from Paris who would be her bridesmaid. She couldn't believe how how fast it was all moving- she was about to marry in to the royal family.

"Ms.Chatel?" She heard, along with a knock on the door. "guests are beginning to arrive I believe you should head downstairs" the voice added. Fleur stood up and began straightening out her dress before making her way downstairs. She felt nervous heading downstairs, and eagerly glanced around for any familiar faces from people she had met over the last number of days. she reached out to take a glass of champagne from a passing tray, the shine from her finger catching her off guard yet again. She kept spotting the [url=https://pin.it/ajbco7t3t4cpq4]diamond[/irl] on her finger and getting continually blown away by it beauty. Fleur startled slightly as she felt an arm wrap around her as she admired her ring, glancing up to see Ezra. A smile brightened her lips gently. "Bonjour" she said with a small laugh, letting herself lean in to him. She had almost flawless English, however she spoke with an accent, and often chose to say certain things in French simply because she thought they sounded nicer.

Luciano had spent a large portion of the evening networking, building up a few more clients to contact to spread the sale of their families narcotics. He really wanr d to make himself look good in his father's eyes in the hopes of taking over the business some day. He was indulged in a conversation about their most recent batch, when his father approached him to let him know that his new wife had arrived. Luc sighed softly but followed his father nonetheless. He really did not see any merit in this arrangement, but he trusted in his father to not create familial ties unless there was a good reason.

He kept in the background as his father and Louis said their piece before stepping forward. Smiling at the beautiful woman who stood before him. "Ciao Bella" he uttered softly, placing a delicate kiss on her hand before looking in to her eyes. "I'm Luciano, you are Alixandria yes? A beautiful name for a beautiful girl" he charmed, winking at her before letting go of her hand. He could tell she was nervous, and wished he knew a way to out her more at ease but he did not. "Can I get you a drink?" He offered kindly, gesturing towards the bar that had been set up in the corner of the room.

This felt so weird, the men talking seemed to be more interest in each other, then allowing Alix to speak as well. That, was not something that she was used to, although as the man standing behind the head introduced himself, Alix felt her mouth go dry. Her eyes widening slightly as her cheeks turned a light pink color. How stupid could she have been? Not realizing that the man standing behind the head was her betrothed. "Oh, uh. Ciao." Alix muttered the Italian greeting back, her voice quiet as she felt more flustered at his sweet little first.

"Oh I-I can't possible-" Alix tried to turn down the drink, as she was not yet old enough back home, but her uncle butted in. "That's a wonderful idea." Her uncle Louis said, putting a gentle hand on the back of Alix's back and pushing her in the direction of the bar. "You two should drink, get to know each other better." Alix frowned a little at the older man but nodded her head none the less. She knew better than to argue with him, especially in front of other people. "I've never drunk before," Alix said quietly as she looked up towards Luciano, a little loss on what to do from here.

    --

After making sure that his cousin James wasn't going to be a disturbance at the party, Ezra turned to look around the room. It seemed that everyone else was on there best behaviors. No one was hustling under the table so far, so that was good. Ezra would have hated having to have someone taken to the dungeon they had and straightened out. He didn't want Fleur to witness that side of him yet. She was too pure, too innocent. Too beautiful to witness that side of his life. At least, for now. He planned to slowly disrupt her innocents little by little until he was all that she saw. Until he was all that she worshipped.

As his eyes spotted the beauty across the room, a small grin appeared on his lips as he made his way to her. "There you are." He murmured as he moved behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. A goofy grin appearing on his lips as he heard her speak French. "Bonjour to you to." He said as he leaned over and pressed a simple little kiss to her right cheek before standing straight and turning her around in his arms. His dark eyes looking over the beauty before grinning. "Well why don't you look ravishing." He said as he looked into her eyes and pressed another small kiss to her forehead before letting her go.

Luciano smiled kindly as she replied to him, trying not to laugh as her English accent corrupted their language. He didn't want to seem rude, and he like that she was trying her best. He tried to keep himself aware of the fact that she came from a family that held mannerisms and etiquette to a much higher standard than his did. Luc glanced at the two older gentleman before guiding Alix away, it was clear they wanted to talk business, undoubtedly that which surrounded their marriage. "You have never? Well the legal age here is 16" he told her sweetly, as they walked towards the bar. "If you do not want to that's fine, have a soda- our secret" he said with a soft laugh, ordering himself a scotch before glancing at her to see what she wanted.

"So Alix you are the youngest yes?" Luciano asked, even though he knew the answer. He wondered how much she knew about this deal for them to marry, he figured it could not be a simple one - especially given that she was her with him even though the heir to her family's fortunes was getting married tomorrow- to a Chatel of all people. "Ate you sad to be missing your brother's wedding?" He questioned.

    ***

Fleur smiled as Ezra kissed her, a small flush rushing to her cheeks as he complimented her. Delicately she pulled her hair back from her face and that led him. *You look very handsome too" she told him, running her hands over his suit jacket delicately before tightening g and straightening his tie. "Very smart" she teased him before taking a sip of her drink. It amazed her how at ease she felt around him already, and she thought it was a sign. Maybe they we're really meant to be together after all.

"What have you been up to all day? I thought we would do something but you never came to get me" she asked him with a kind smile, assuimng he probably just caught up in palace business, never suspecting what he really would have been doing. Having been the youngest and only female child of the Chatel family, Fleur had led an incredibly sheltered life without even realising it. "Are you excited for tomorrow" she asked him.

Tiny little butterflies started to flutter in Alix's stomach as Luc led her away towards the bar. Her bright green eyes glancing over her shoulder towards her uncle for a moment before she looked up towards Luc as he spoke. Her lips pursed into a thin line at his little tease about her age. "I'll just have what you're having." She said quietly, although she had no idea how strong his drink was or that it was not a very ladylike drink at all. If her mother knew that Alix's first drink was a scotch, she'd probably have a hissy fit and ground the young girl. "I'm not a child that needs to sneak soda's." She told him, teasingly sticking her tongue out at him before offering a small giggle as her green-eyed gaze glanced around at the many people before looking at Luc once more.

At the mention of her ranking in her family, Alix couldn't help but smile slightly. "I am, I have four older brothers." She told him. Then, at the mention of her brother's wedding, Alix felt the butterflies slowly turn into a lump. "I am, but I don't mind. I think I'm sure my brother will send me pictures of the ceremony." She said, trying to seem like she wasn't bothered by it. "Do you have any siblings? My father and uncle haven't told me much about you." It sounded really bad on her part, but it was true. Alix was left out of everything until last week when she had her eighteenth birthday.

Just being around beautiful women seemed to take the edge off of everything for Enzo. He was quite glad that his father had found him such a beautiful girl to be with. "Why thank you." He said and then made a little face as he allowed for Fleur to fix his tie. Although he was glad that she was able to make it look nice as well as not suffocate him like it's been. "Don't drink too much tonight. We have a long day ahead of us." Enzo said as he glanced towards the glass that Fleur was holding onto. He didn't mind his women drinking, but he just didn't want her being hungover as they walked down the line of their wedding day.

At the question of what Enzo had been up to all day, his shoulders stiffened ever so slightly. Memories of him meeting with a few drug lords, correcting the count on some of the drugs they were getting shipped in and having to dispose of someone flashed through his mind. "I was just out with the guys. My friend Kane said he found a nice new winery out in the country, so we took a trip." He told her, offering a small smile. "It didn't turn out very well and we ended up getting lost." He told her, shrugging his shoulders as if it wasn't a big deal. "I promise to take you with us next time Kane gets a wild idea." He told her, then leaned forward to press a small kiss to her forehead once more. "I'm very excited, are you?" He asked as he reached a hand out to hold onto her free hand. His thumb rubbing small circles on the back of her hand gently.

Luciano raised his eyebrows at the girl ad she asked for the same as him, but ordered it nonetheless, passing it over to her. "Well that may be debateable, I've never met an adult who stick their tongue out like that" he teased gently, before clinking his glass off of the edge of hers. "To us" he commented warmly before taking g a large sip, smirking as she began to cough. "Does it burn?" He asked, handing her the glass of water he had pre-ordered.

Luc nodded as she mentioned her older brother, the pieces still not quite fitting together in his head as to why she was being married to him. He doubted it was for the Davis's and them to go in to business, as he could not see the Chatels offering their daughter as a bride were that to go ahead. He could tell that her brother's wedding seemed to be a sore spot so he decided to move on quickly. "Yes I have a brother two years younger than me, and then the twins are 9, my dad had another son and daughter in his second marriage" he explained with a smile. She knew she was genuine in the questions she was asking, unlike him. He knew much more than he could possibly let on to her.

    ***

Fleur frowned slightly as Ezra warned her not to drink too much. She glanced at the glass, which had barely had a sip taken out of it and shrugged. "I'm fine, this is only my first glass" she answered. She was french, Fleur knew she could hold her wine and champagnes well. She nodded along as he spoke about his day "yes that sounds nice, I'd like to come along next time" she told him with a bright smile, letting her head rest against his shoulder as they held hands, not noticing his stiffening at all. "I'm very excited... I think you'll like my dress" she told him with a soft laugh. Fleur had been disappointed that she hadn't been allowed to have a say in the majority of the wedding, so she had made sure that the dress she was wearing was 100% her decision.

The part she was a little nervous about was being an official bride and groom. Given that she had been here just over a week Fleur had easily been able to keep things to hand holding and soft kisses, and she really hoped that the idea of consummating their marriage didn't Trump continuing to get to know on another. She didn't want things to become about sex. She was hopeful though, Ezra was sweet, she didn't think he was that sort of guy.

"Then you must not know many fun people," Alix said as she gently took the glass into her hands. The slight aroma that she got from the glass caused the hair on her arm to slightly raise. "T-to us." She stuttered out quietly, then took a small sip. Almost immediately she started to cough and greatly accepted the water she was offered and sipped it. "N-no! I-It just went down wrong." She mumbled, her cheeks a little pink as she referred to look Luc in the eyes, embarrassed that she couldn't handle the drink.

"Oh?" Alix asked, interest filling her eyes as she looked up at Luc after hearing about his own siblings. "Are any of them here now?" She asked, turning to look around the area to see if she could see anyone else who looked sorta like Lur besides his father. Who, seemed to have disappeared with her uncle somewhere. That fact alone, caused Alix's lips to slightly falter, she didn't want to be alone, she hated being in strange environments alone. A stupid byproduct of being a sheltered girl. "Can you show me around?" Alix asked, they were in a large mansion's backyard, so there's bound to be interesting things to see.

    --

"Alright, it's a date then," Enzo said as he offered Fleur a small smile and then raised his free hand to gently run a hand through his hair. An act he did when he wasn't sure what else to do in a certain situation. The moment she brought up her wedding dress made everything seem to crash down on him. He was getting married, tomorrow. Sure, he brought it up first, but wow. This was shocking, and the girl had no idea what he was into either. "I'm sure I'll love anything that you're going to wear." He told her as he offered her another small smile, then a small mysterious grin appeared on his lips as he gently tugged on her hand.

"I heard that the chefs have prepared some sweets. Why don't we go and see what they made for us?" He offered, knowing that he had requested them to make her favorite sweets. He wanted to make sure that tonight was the best night ever for her, for tomorrow. Things were going to start changing, and not all in a good way either. A few waiters walked around, carrying trays with drinks and empty glasses. Enzo moved around them skillfully, not wanting to have them break anything and risk his anger leaking out. "Ah, there." He said as he spotted the table set up for sweets.

Luciano smirked at her as she tried to kop our saying it went done the wrong g way. He slowly reached on to the bar for some soda and poured it in to her glass "that should make it a little easier to swallow the right way" he said with a wink. He glanced around as she asked about his. "No, my brother has gone to Spain for some time, he will be back for the wedding though and the kids are probably with the nanny, a party like this isn't really the place for them" he commented softly.

He noticed her beginning to tense up and gently placed his hand on her lower back "Of course I can Alix let's get going" he said, placing his drink down on the bar and leading her out of the room. He wanted her to feel comfortable here, he didn't want her to have any worries while settling in, they needed her to trust them. "So would you like to see the gardens or the house first?" He asked kindly.

    ***

Fleur watched her fiance carefully, his smile didn't quite meet his eyes when he spoke to her and she wondered if something was wrong. Maybe he was getting cold feet. All of this had happened so quickly after all, even Fleur was nervous about it but Ezra being so sweet made it all the more simple to be at ease with. She chuckled as he began leading her through the party, a mischievous smile on his face. "sweets?" She asked softly- not quite understanding it was how the English described pattiserie goods until she saw the table before them layed out with éclairs, macorons and so many other treats that she loved.

"Ezra, how did you know?" She asked with a smile, picking up a raspberry Macoron and taking a small bite, her eyes closing as the flavour washed over her taste buds. "Almsot as good as in France" she teased, finishing the Macoron and glancing around the table. She knew she shouldn't eat too much of it if she wanted to fit in to her dress tomorrow but it all looked so delicious. "Try one" she said, holding a Macoron out to her fiance to take a bite.

"Thanks," Alix said quietly as Luciano poured some soda into her cup. She was a little disappointed that she couldn't handle what he was drinking, he must think she was a child. Not just because she stuck her tongue out at him, but because now he knew she couldn't handle drinks very well. Glancing up at him, her head slowly nodded in understanding. "Well, I'm glad your brothers going to be able to attend at least."She said quietly, smiling up at him as best as she could.

At the feel of his hand on her lower back, Alix couldn't help but jump slightly. The contact was sudden and she wasn't expecting that from him. Trying to calm her nerves, Alix took a small sip of the bubbly drink before following Luc's lead and setting her drink on the counter before slightly leaning into his touch. "Can I see the garden?" She asked, slight excitement at the thought of getting out of the stuffy room showing in her eyes.

    --

"I have my sources," Ezra said as he looked down at Fleur and winked as he used his free hand to tap his right temple with his pointer finger. He would be an idiot to tell her that he had his people look into her life and had her family give them information on things that she enjoyed. "I'll have our chef's try and learn the French way to make them then." He said, chuckling quietly at how cute it was to see Fleur enjoying the treats. "I'm glad they came out good though." He told her.

Leaning down slightly, Ezra made sure to make eye contact with his beloved as he took a small bite of the treat she was offering him. Sure, he could have taken the cookie from her, but he figured this'll get an interesting reaction from her. "Hmm, it's good." He said as he pulled away from the cookie and allowed for the sweetness to roll around his mouth. "This is the first time I've tried these." He told her, licking his lips as he swallowed the bite. "What's your favorite of the flavors that we have out?" He asked her.

Fleur laughed softly as he teased her about knowing her favourites. "Tres bon" she told him softly as he said he would get the chefs to learn the French way. She couldn't help but smile as he took a bit of the Macaron from her fingers, finishing off the piece he left behind, before slipping her hand in to his. She really was thrilled that they were getting on so we'll. She had been worried that their different family surrounding and age difference could have proven difficult for them.

She narrowed her eyes slightly as she looked around the table at the flavours. She couldn't see the labels very well without her glasses, which she had left in her room. She really dislike people seeing her in them. "Hmm, I quite like the white chocolate, or green tea" she suggested, before picking up a mini eclair and popping it in her mouth, washing it down with the end of her champagne. She was about to reach for another from the tray when she spotted Ezra's eyes following her hand and she left it be. He was clearly worried she was going to get drink, and she didn't want to cause any fights the night before they got married. "Do you like it?" She asked after he tried a couple of the treats.

    ***

Luc nodded gently. Him and his brother had never been very close the way most brothers were, but they got on well and worked very well together. "Our wedding will not be for a few weeks, perhaps your brother and his new bride could come and visit" Luciano suggested as he lead her out to the gardens. The evening was beginning to close in, casting a beautiful pink hie throughout the sky. "Prettier than England, huh?" He asked with a soft laugh. He had visited her home country some time ago, and found it very grey and smoggy.

He strolled along beside her silently for a few moments, letting her take everything in before they came towards the Rose garden. "What type of flowers do you like?" He asked her kindly.

The feeling of the cool night air was a welcome relief for Alix as they walked outside. Her tense shoulders slightly relaxed and her bright green eyes closed as she breathed in the fresh air. "I don't know, he's not a fan of traveling," Alix said quietly as she opened her eyes and glanced up towards Luc. "It's also very hard for a royal to go anywhere without being bombarded with paparazzi. Especially since he's the Crown Prince." Alix said quietly, her tone showing that she was a little upset.

"I'd have to say they're tied. Nothing beats the familiar feeling of home." Alix said quietly as she glanced up towards Lux and offered a small smile before she looked out towards the garden around them. "I really like lilies, stargazers are my favorite," Alix said quietly as she let her eyes gaze at all of the pretty flowers that were around them. "Do you enjoy flowers?"

    --

A small nod of approval came from Ezra as he watched Fleur retract her hand from the tray of drinks. He didn't really mind her drinking all that much, but. He was a little protective at the moment. They were going to be married soon and he couldn't have anything going wrong. This connection needed to happen, or something bad could happen to Fleur and she was just too good looking to allow something bad to happen. Turning his head, Ezra snapped his fingers and one of the servers with a tray came over immediately. "Grab Fleur a glass of water." He ordered before he turned back towards his bride.

"I have to say the green tea ones as well. Although I'm a fan of the caramel ones as well." He told her and he let her hand go and instead used it to wrap around her waist as he pulled her to his side. "But I think you taste the best." He said as he leaned down and stole a kiss from her lips. Then, he pulled away and grinned as one of his business partners came into the room to congratulate the young couple. Ezra acted extra careful so that nothing slipped up between the two of them.

Luciano smiled softly as he watched her relax a little in the outside air, although he noticed how that relaxation in her movement disappeared when she spoke about her brother. "Well I'm sure he would travel for his baby sister's wedding, yes?" He offered with a soft smile, trying to cheer her up-to-date or at the last get whatever was upsetting her out of her.

He smiled as she said that she preferred Lilies. "You are in luck- they were also my mother's favourite" he said with a smile, leading her through the Rose garden to a large patch of lillies, all varying in colour and type. He laughed softly as he asked if he enjoyed flowers. "I enjoy the look of a beautiful woman when I give her flowers, does that count?" He teased, plucking a lily from the ground and holding it out to her.

    ***

Fleur stood watching the commotion as Ezra clicked his fingers and a server came running. She smiled, but it didn't write reach her eyes. She appreciated that he was just trying to look out for her, but she really didn't want to make a fuss. "Thank you" she told the waiter as he handed her the glass, taking a small sip before placing it down on the table. She giggled as he pulled her in close to him, just beginning to kiss him back when he pulled away once more. She couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that his attention had been taken from her but she kept her composure and smiled at this associate of his.

Fleur shook the man's hand politely, smiling and nodding along with the conversation even though she wasn't entirely sure what was going on. "Thank you very much, merci beucoup" she told the man as he congratulated them, letting her hand rest on Ezra's at her waist for comfort. "who was he?" She asked softly as the man walked away. She didn't recognise him as any of the palace delegates.

Shifting her gaze to her side, Alix did her best to try and hipe her smile. It was really sweet for Luciano to try and cheer her up like this. She really hated being a downer, so it was nice to have some help in making things seem more cheerful. "We shall see I suppose." She said quietly as she looked at him fully and offered a small smile before she looked around at the beautiful patch of lilies and gasped. They were all so beautiful.

"Usually I'd say no to that," Alix said quietly as she turned her head towards her betrothed, finding his words amusing. "But I guess I could accept that answer today because it's a pretty flower and it goes with my dress." Shyly, Alix accepted the flower. Twitling it lightly between her fingers for a moment before she brought it to her nose and smelling the sweet smell. "Bellissimo." She murmured quietly as she pulled the flower away and looking at it in adoration. Lilies were her favorite, so the fact that they had some here really made Alix feel at home.

    --

Once the conversation ended, Ezra felt a little relieved. He was nervous that the man was going to let something slip just to get a rise out of the usually violent man. This was not the place for that, and he thanked the stars that the man made the right choice in being quiet. "Just an old, friend, I haven't seen him in a while so I was surprised he decided to join," Ezra said quietly as he looked towards Fleur and offered her a small smile before leaning down and placing a small kiss to her lips once more.

"How are you enjoying everything?" Ezra asked, slowly using the arm that was around her to lead her around the party, showing her off a little. She was a beauty and Ezra loved the feeling of having all eyes on him. Especially since this was his party before his supposed big day. "I'm not sure if I ever asked if you were excited about tomorrow or not." He acted a little hurt as he said that, allowing for his lips to dip a little bit like he's seen guys do when their girls were mad at them.

Luciano gave her side a little squeeze where she stood "we will send him and his bride an invite, no problem" he told her confidently, watching her carefully as she looked over the flowers. "This can be yours now. My mother is no longer here to tend it, so you can plant whatever lilies you like" he told her kindly. He chuckled as she spoke some Italian, it always amused him how the English accent sounded when they tried to speak foreign languages.

He paused, letting her take in the roses and lillies for a little longer before guiding her along once more. He lead her towards a large pond with a fountain in the centre and gestured for her to join him on the bench next to her. "This is my favourite spot in the garden. It photographs very well, and I really like the fish" he told her happily, watching the large Koi moving below the placid water.

Fleur nodded softly, noting how Ezra seemed to have lots of old friends that he was meeting up with over the time that she had been here. It made Fleur worry about how big the wedding was going to be tomorrow, they wouldn't tell her any of the details. She kissed him back, a little more prepared this time, but once again he pulled away quicker than she expected. She thought perhaps he didn't like the attention it brought on to them, although he didn't seem like a guy who had a dislike for attention.

She smiled at people as they did their rounds of the party, internally wishing that there were more people she knew here. The whole night she had been here she had barely seen her Parents or Bella. "Everything is great Ezra, thank you" she told him sweetly, giving his arm a gentle squeeze. "It's just taking me some time to get used to the differences from home" she added, hoping it would explain to him why she may be a little off key. "I am excited... I'm also very nervous.. how many guests is there going to be?" She asked him softly, sta dig still and turning to face him.

It felt really rewarding, knowing that Lucian would go out of his way to invite her brother. She knew he didn't really approve of this marriage though, so she wasn't quite sure if he'd even look at the invite. "Thank you." She mumbled quietly, then froze as he brought up the garden and his mother. The words weighing heavy on her heart as she wasn't expecting him to share something so personal with her so soon. "My apologies, Luc," Alix said quietly, but still tried to offer a small smile. "I'll take great care of the garden for you both." She said quietly.

Playing the placid girl she was, Alix followed Luc towards the fountain. The sight of it in the growing darkness really amazing her. "Woah." She said quietly as she slid into the spot next to Luciano on the bench. Her ankles crossed over each other as she folded her hands in her lap like the Princess she was. "You take photo's?" Alix asked, surprised that someone like Luc would have that sort of hobby. Then, after a moment, her eyes narrowed as she tried to remember something. "Wait, the Esposito family owns a modeling company. Right?"

    --

A slow nod of his head was the best reaction that Ezra could offer Fleur at the moment. He wanted her to accept everything. He didn't want her to seem like she was a foreigner for the rest of her life. This was going to be her new home, rather she wanted it to or not. It may seem a little harsh, but he really did want her to at least be happy that she's welcomed in the house of Davis. Even if she didn't know the full reason why she was there in the first place.

"It won't be as pact as this," Ezra said as he glanced down at Fleur and then looked around at the guests that filled the mansion. Many of them he knew, many were old associates of his fathers as well. There were also family members who were close to him and knew the business as well. Many dangerous men were in the house at the moment, but none that would dare to harm a hair on the heir's bride. "Maybe about half, we'll just have to see." He told her, keeping things on the down low. He knew there were going to be quite a few people, how many though. He wasn't sure if the exact number himself as his father was still running things for the family.

Luc began to laugh softly, shaking his head at her "Oh Alix my apologies, my mother is not dead, my dad simply divorced her. She moved to the house in the maldives" he informed her, feeling a as she watched he'd her blush. "I did not mean to mislead you" he told her gently. He say back in the bench, resting his hands over the back of the bench, around her back. He stretched his legs out in front of him looking up at the sky and taking in a breath of air.

He glanced over at her as she began to speak, smiling at how print and proper she was. "Yeah we do, I'm the CEO but I like doing shoots when I can, I've been doing it for years" he explained to her with a smile. "I can show you some of the shoots I've done later if you like?" He offered. He was actually very proud of his work. He knew that the agency was just a front for all of the illegal stuff but it was something he actually enjoyed.

Fluer nodded softly "okay good... I wish some more of my friends could've been here" she said honestly, her voice soft. She knew all of this had happened so quickly, but she had really wished she would've been able to have more people she knew here.

She looked around a little before her eyes fell back on him. She felt like this was one of the first yimes since she got here that she had his complete attention, usually he was busy doing other things while being with her. "So what after we married?" She asked him softly, pulling her blonde hair behind her shoulder. "Do we get our own place? Or do we stay here with all the rest of your family?" She asked softly. Fleur really hoped that they got to live somewhere else. She thought the palace was beautiful, but it felt like she was always being watched by the rest of his family.

"Oh!" Alix mumbled as she looked at Luc, her eyes wide with surprise. Then she smiled sheepishly and looked away. Biting her bottom lip nervously, a small habit of hers that drove her family crazy because she had no poker face. "My apologies on assuming the worst." She mumbled quietly. "I'm glad she's alright," Alix said quietly and offered a small smile. "Is she here by chance? Or, will I be able to meet her at all?"

As Luc mentioned he was the CEO, Alix's bright green eyes widened. She really was out of the loop on not even knowing that her betrothed was the one who ran his fathers company. "Oh wow, yes please!" She said, sounding rather excited at the thought of being able to see come of the shoots that Luc did himself. "How did you get into photography?" Alix asked, not realizing that she was leaning back slightly into his touch.

    --

A small thing in Ezra's heart ached as Fleur mentioned wishing that she could have had more of her friends here. "My apologies for dragging you such a long way from your family." He said calmly as he looked down at Fleur with a regretful look, but did his best to try and cheer her up. "But at least your closest one was able to make it, right? Plus, it's not like we'll never visit. Right? I'm sure we'll be able to plan weekend trips to France so you can shop and hang with friends."

At the mention of what was going to happen after they were married, Ezra gave Fleur a confused look. He didn't understand where she was getting at, at first. "Oh." He mumbled, his small grin slowly spreading along his lips. "It'll be finished in about a week. It's being built from scratch, that's why we're here. I bought it last year and didn't think it'd be taking this long to finish. My apologies." He told her, rubbing the back of his neck embarrassedly. "It's the thing that's been taking a lot of my time, the builders are adding in the finishing touches and adding things that I thought you'd like."

Luciano smiled at her gently, running his thumb along her lip gently after she bit it. "You shouldn't do that.. you're lips are too pretty to be damaged in that way" he told her warmly before slowly pulling his hand away. He shook his head gently responding to her question. "My mother and Father are not on speaking terms at the moment so she will not be here for the wedding, however she will be coming for a visit shortly after, so you will get to meet her then" he told her happily. Luc had always known he needed to follow in his father's footsteps, buy he had always stayed close to his mother-in-law he found she often helped him to keep a level head about business decisions, a skill his father sometimes lacked.

It filled luc with a great sense of satisfaction to see how excited Alix was to see some of his shoots. However he wasn't quite ready to leave the garden just yet. "I will arrange for the same have them organised along with brunch tomorrow, we can get to know each other better" he told her kindly. "A photographer didn't show up one day.. it was a new client I didn't want them to think they had wasted their time so I stepped in.. the shots weren't half bad and I just worked from there" he said with a shrug.

Fleur nodded, trying to remain hopeful " right she is... Have you met Bella yet actually?" She asked him gently, standing up on her tip toes trying to see over the crowds to see if she could spot her friend. When she couldn't I'mmediately see her, Fleur decided to leave it until they met more naturally. She smiled when he began to talk about visiting her home country, only faltering when he said weekend trips. She figured it was just a slip of the tongue, she planned to spend much more time than that at home, but it could of course be discussed at a later date.

Her face brightened when he let her know they would have their own place, especially when he said how they were putting in things he thought she would like. "Like what?" Fleur asked teasingly, her immaturity showing just a bit as she got lost to the fantasy of the perfect little life she could have with this man she hardly knew.

It was like a trance for Alix because as soon as she felt Luc's thumb on her lip, she felt herself stop her habit. She could feel her lips warming slightly at the contact and did her best to not make a fool of herself in front of him anymore. "My apologies." She said quietly, then lifted the ends of her lips in a small smile instead. "What're your parents like?" She asked, her head tilting to the side slightly in curiosity.

"Oh, that sounds lovely," Alix said, grinning slightly at the idea of sharing a meal with Luc. He seemed like such a charming guy, she was starting to wonder why she was so nervous to meet him. As well as the dark look her brother got whenever his name was brought up. "That's terrible that someone wouldn't just show up for a job, but I'm glad you were there. Do you still have copies of those photos? I think I'd like to see how you've progressed." She told him, trying to add a small teasing tone to her voice.

    --

"I don't believe that I have," Enzo said quietly as he looked around the room for someone who could possibly not look familiar, but he knew everyone. The fact that he couldn't spot a new face caused a small frown to appear on Enzo's lips once more. This person was important to Fleur, so he wanted to make sure that she was around enough to make Fleur calm and not feel home sick. "I'm sure we'll meet before we head to our honeymoon destination." He told her, trying to sound reassuring.

"Well," Enzo said quietly, letting the idea of what could be in the house out for Fleur to think about for a few more moments before he decided to give her a small idea. "I have a feeling you're a little like my sister and have a lot of clothing. So, I'm having the room that's next to ours that I was going to use as an office made into a boutique closet for you." He told her, looking at her with interest to see if she'd be interested in that or not.
