Xiumin and Chen left the room as Danny entered. The four boys standing outside, just in case.

Danny sat down on the bed, resting his crutches beside him. “I guess I should introduce myself, I’m Danny.”

‘Simon,’ he inched back a bit, ‘whatever your going to say, save it. I am not going to stop fighting them, they’ll have to kill me to get me to stop. I want to go home. I’m not property. I won’t be forced to stay where I don’t want to and with people I don’t want to be with,’ Simon’s expression was hardened, but his eyes screamed that he wasn’t only angry but scared and hurt.

“I understand and that’s exactly what they’ll do if you keep fighting. Did they tell you they were vampires? They could easily overpower us both and kill us both.” Danny said, looking down, “I don’t want to be here as much as you, trust me, but I’m trying not to piss them off and make things worse for myself.” He said.

‘They didn’t have to tell me, I figured it out,’ Simon looked away, ‘I miss Clary and Maureen. I miss my music, my school, my other friends, I want to go home. I don’t want to be stuck here with them.’

“I know, I miss my home too, but I’m guessing your parents did the same thing as mine.” Danny sighed. “Maybe theyll let us go, maybe..” he said.

“Yes, to help with their company. I didn’t want to go either, so I tried to run away and I ended up in a car accident and fucked my leg up. I guess that’s one reason I haven’t fought back, or else I would be.” Danny explained.

Simon turned his gaze back to Danny, ‘I don’t know if I play nice or obedient. I don’t know if I can do that. Not when everything in me screams to fight and run.’

“I know but maybe just give it a shot? They’ll be a lot nicer if you do.” Danny said. “Plus, they’ll reward you with food.” He added.

‘I’m not hungry,’ he told him, groaning when his stomach grumbled, ‘okay I’m hungry but I can’t do it Danny. I’m not like you. I can’t do it.’

“I think the only reason I’m going along with it is I’m still in shock from my car accident.” Danny admitted.

Simon suddenly thought about Clary, Maureen, his music, Maureen’s music, his school again. He couldn’t die. He had to live for them and that meant playing nice, ‘I have to do this. I have to much at home, two girls waiting on me. I can’t die because of my attitude.’

Danny smiled, “that’s what you need to think of then. Maybe after our parents get what they want, they’ll let us go..”

He nodded, ‘I hope so. When Suho grabbed me, he broke my phone. I was talking to Clary, panicking and trying to get her to help me. She must be worried sick, Maureen too.’

Danny reached into his pocket and pulled his phone out. “Here. It won’t be much use to me anymore, you can use it to contact them.” He said, not surprised his parents didn’t even try to contact him.

'Thankyou...thankyou so much,' he took the phone and dialed Clary's number, 'Clary it's me. Yes Simon. No I dont know. Clary I cant...Clary just know I'm okay and tell Maureen I'm okay. I'll call and text you guys when I can. I love you guys,' he told her before hanging up just as the guys came back in the room.

Danny looked up as the guys came in. “Everything okay?” Xiumin asked the boys. Danny nodded, “yes, I talked to him..” Danny said.

Simon clutched Danny's phone tightly, happy he got to hear Clary's voice, talk to her, let her know he was alright. He didn't look up at them, just at the phone.

“I see, well, you can head back with Lay and Sehun, we’ll take it from here.” Xiumin said. Danny nodded and stood up, grabbing his crutches as he hobbled out of the room.

He sent Maureen a quick text while they were looking at the Danny and his two vampires, (hey Maureen I'm okay. I'll text or call you when I can. Don't worry.)
