Alec couldn't wait. His roommate and best friend since they were little kids Dean and himself, they were finally going on their dream vacation. They have been saving for years to go to Seoul, South Korea. They were saving little bits of money here and there, when they didn't need something, they didn't buy it. They splurged a little bit of themselves when they had a little extra money but most of it was saved up for their trip. He zipped up his suitcase and grabbed his other bag before walking out into their living room.

‘Hey dean you ready? We need to be at the airport soon so we can check in and get something to eat before our plane arrives.’

Alec walked into the kitchen to grab a water bottle and an apple to eat now.

“Almost!” Dean called out from his room. He finished packing his things before lugging the suitcase down the stairs and to the door.

“Okay, I’m ready.” He said, walking into the kitchen and grabbing himself a bottle of water and a banana.

“I can’t wait to be in Seoul!” He said excitedly, bouncing from one foot to the other.

‘Neither can I. I mean we’ve been saving up for this trip for years. I don’t think I even slept last night,’ Alec smirked. He grabbed his bag from the living room, pulled the strap over his head so it hung by his side before he grabbed his suitcase and wheeled it to the door, ‘okay so we’ve made sure everything was off, made sure your car was locked and in the garage, made sure we had everything we need, we have our boarding passes and hotel rooms…’ Alec verbally went through his mental checklist, making sure they had everything and did everything they were supposed to do before they left.

Once he was finished, he opened the door, walked out, waited for Dean to follow before he closed and locked the door. He double checked it before they walked to his car. Alec left his suitcase by the trunk, unlocked the car before opening the drivers side door, bending down and opening the trunk. He walked back to the trunk, put his things in before walking back to the drivers side and getting in. He heard a few thunks and a slam before Dean got in the car a few moments later.

‘I’m excited. Seoul. I can’t believe it,’ Alec smiled wide as he started the car and began the drive to the airport.

Dean put his things in the backseat before getting into the passenger seat and shutting the door. He smiled at Alec as he put his seatbelt on. “I know, I’m excited.” He said as Alec started the drive to the airport. “Maybe we’ll even meet a couple of cute Korean boys.” He giggled, doing a little dance in his seat.

Alec smirked, ‘maybe we will,’ he hasn’t dated anybody in years. Maybe he might meet someone but it wouldn’t be wise to start anything with anybody because they are going to go back to New York to their jobs, they aren’t staying in Seoul forever. He doesn’t want to get too attached to anybody, it’ll just make leaving harder. He has a school in Brooklyn teaching people archery and self defense. He’s had the school for a few years now and has made friends with about everybody in the neighborhood who recommends him to all their friends and family. He can’t leave all that behind to move to Seoul or expect the guy to leave everything behind and move to New York and long distance is hard. He’s tried it before with an ex of his, it didn’t work and it hurt when they broke up. Anyway he’s getting ahead of himself, who says he’s even going to meet anybody and fall in love.

Dean looked out the window as they drove and then reached to the back where he pulled out his snack bag. He opened it and grabbed some chips, “want some?” He offered the open bag to Alec before taking one of his own.

Alec reached into the chip bag and pulled out a few before popping some in his mouth. He chew and swallowed before replying, 'please and thankyou,' he smiled at his friend, 'this isnt like you, not the sharing food thing because you always do that, even at three in the morning when I'm sleeping, you wake me up to see if I want some of the food your eating but your not playing music. Are you okay? Should I postpone the trip and take you to the doctor?'

Dean laughed, “I just didn’t think we’d have time to listen to music since the trip to the airport isn’t that long. I’m okay, I swear.” He said, seeing the sign that told them the airport was coming up. “I’ll probably nap and listen to music on the plane though.” He grinned.

'Oh and ignore me, your best friend. I see how you are,' Alec turned into the airport, pretending to look hurt. He even made a few tears fall down his cheeks. He kept the grin at bay, instead pouting, 'I get it. I do,' he wanted to crack a smile and laugh but he kept it locked inside.

Dean rolled his eyes, “Whatever.” He laughed. “I can’t belueve you’re okay with leaving your car here for three weeks.” He chuckled, as Alec parked in the parking garage. Dean got out and went to the back to grab his things as he waited for his friend.

'Well my sister is coming with Jace to pick up my car and bring it back to her house. She's going to keep it locked up in her garage. So it's not staying here for three weeks,' he grabbed his things from the trunk before closing it, and leaning against the back. About a few minutes later, Isabelle pulled up and Jace got out. He gave Alec a hug before taking the keys, 'have a good trip Alec,' he told him before getting in Alec's car. The two of them drove away as Alec walked to the bus terminal to wait for it to come pick him and Dean up and take them to the airport doors of the company their flying with.

Dean nodded, he waved to Alec’s sister and Jace but they didn’t really acknowledge him. “I guess your sister is still mad at me for rejecting her?” He sighed, leaning against the building. That’s how everyone found out Dean was gay. He rejected Isabelle when she asked him out and then came out as a gay a few days after that. Ever since then, Isabelle barely passed him a glance whenever she was around.

‘She’s not angry at you. She’s hurt. She really liked you. She understands why you rejected her but she just needs some time before she can bring herself to come terms with it, accept it and work on being friends with you. She’s not homophobic by any means but just give her some time, and she’ll be giving you hugs again and trying to set you up with somebody she thinks is perfect for you.’

Dean chuckled slightly, “sounds like your sister. How much longer until this bus you think? Cause I really have to piss.” He chuckled. He checked the paper again with the time and figured he could run to the bathroom and back before it gets here. “Be right back, hopefully I can make it.” He said, before going towards the sign that pointed towards the restrooms.

Once Danny had run into the bathroom, the bus pulled up to the bench. Alec got up and put all their stuff on it before asking the driver to wait a few minutes please because his friend was in the bathroom. He sat down in the front seat, pulling out his phone to text Isabelle, ‘hey sis when we get back in three weeks, I’ll call you to bring my car back to the airport so Danny and I can get home. Thank you so much for helping me with that. Your a big help. I love you sis.’

Dean quickly finished his business before returning to see that the bus in fact came. He was so thankful that Alec had asked the bus driver to wait. He boarded the bus before sitting down next to Alec. “It came right after I left, didn’t it?” He chuckled.

'Literally seconds after you walked into the bathroom,' Alec smirked, 'ah it's going to be a long flight. Thankfully I brought a few books to entertain me while you sleep and listen to music. I'm going to catch up on the eragon series. The first one was a good read. I read it three times already but I still need to finish the others. There's about three more books in the series,' Alec looked excited as he talked about the books.

Dean chuckled, “You’re such a nerd.” He teased his friend. It was true, Alec and Dean were complete opposites, maybe that’s why they were best friends. Dean smiled and leaned back in the seat as he looked out the window.

Alec smirked as he leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes. There was no reason to pull out his book now, he would have to put it away again once they reached the part of the airport they were headed too. He felt himself dozing off even though the short trip was why he didnt want to pull his book out until they got on the plane but he barely slept last night and it was starting to catch up to him. Up until now he was running on excitment and caffeine.
