Thirsty For Love

Suli sighed as she sat her phone down on the counter. She had just sent a text to Johnny and Yuta and asked them both to come over because she needed to talk to them about something. For the past ten months, the two boys had been arguing over her and trying to get her to be with one of them. She hated making people upset and so she was going to propose an idea to them; they could share her and be in a poly relationship.

She made herself some tea as she waited for them to arrive. She hoped that the boys would be willing to give this a try and to stop trying to distract the other one for her attention, if not, she was going to have to cut them both off, and that was something she didn’t want to do.

Ten had arrived at Hea’s dance studio with lunch for both of them, but when he walked through the door, he saw that Taeyong was already there and with lunch. He cursed silently but still walked in.

“Hey Hea, hello Taeyong.” He said, looking over at the other boy. He and Taeyong had been going back and forth to try to win Hea’s heart. He was getting tired of the games though, but he wasn’t about to give up.

“Oh, Ten, sorry, I beat you to the whole lunch thing.” Taeyong smiled. “Oh well, more for me, I guess.” Ten shrugged, sitting down beside them anyways.

Hea rolled her eyes at Taeyong before facing Ten with a sweet smile on her lips. "Thanks for thinking of me, Ten. I would like to accept the lunch you brought." She said and then took the bag he handed her. She opened the bag and saw that Ten had gotten her lamb skewers and kimball, which were her favorite. "Oh wow, these are my favorites. Thanks Ten." She said and leaned in to kiss his cheek. Although Taeyong was more of a player, she appreciated that he brought her lunch too so she kissed his cheek just like Ten, to show her gratitude but to also to keep either boy from getting jealous. She knew that Ten and Taeyong are trying to compete for her and as much as did like both of them, she didnt want to choose between the two friends and cause a riff between them.

Johnny were on their way over to Suli's house after she sent them individual text messages. Minutes later, the taxi stopped at the curb of Suli's apartment complex and paid the driver. However, once the taxi left, Johnny immediately saw Yuta and a scowl appeared on his lips as an annoyed sigh slipped out. "Why are you here?" He growled out at his group member.

Yuta rolled his eyes at Johnny. "I'm here because Suli asked me to. If I knew that you were coming, I would have said no." He scoffed.

Although Yuta knew that Johnny and Suli have known each other the longest, he thought he should get the chance to date Suli. Johnny had already dated Suli in the past and it didn't work then and Yuta thinks they they wouldn't work out a second time. Yuta thought that he would have a better romantic connection with Suli.

Taeyong rolled his eyes at Ten. “Show off.” Taeyong said and gave Hea a smile. “Of course, I told you I owed you lunch.” He chuckled.

Ten raised a brow but didn’t say anything. “So Hea, hows the dance classes been going?”

Suli opened the door whenever she heard the knock. She wasn’t surprised to see Yuta and Johnny, both with scowls on their faces, she invited them both in and had them sit in the living area.

She went to the kitchen to get the platter of tea she made for al of them and brought it in before sitting down. “I invited you guys over to talk about something.” She started.

Hea smiled at Ten, "They are going great. I actually just finished coming up with a new choreography that I plan teach my students next week. But it's a duo routine and my partner that usually helps me out, is on vacation, so I need to choose one of the other male dance instructors that teaches here." She shrugged her shoulders, "would you to see it though? Maybe I can teach you guys it." She offered, standing up after eating her lunch

Jonny reached out and held Suli's hand in his, "Is everything okay?" Johnny asked sounding worried.

Yuta on the other hand rolled his eyes at Johnny before slumping down in his seat. "Pathetic" he muttered softly. "Let her speak instead of jumping to conclusions, Johnny." He said with a hint of annoyance in his tone.

“I would love to.” Ten smiled. “Sure thing, Hea. You know you’re the best dance choreographer we know.” Taeyong added with a smirk. “Also, if you can’t find anyone to help, I’d be more than willing.” He added. Ten glared at him but didn’t say anything.

“Everything is fine, Johnny. I just wanted to talk about the three of us and our situation.” Suli said. “I know both of you like me and want to be with me,” she started, “and I like both of you too, and you know I hate hurting people, so I was thinking, instead of choosing one of you, you guys could share me...you know like a poly relationship...that is if both of you can agree.” She explained.

"I know you are and I appreciate it." Hea smiled softly at Taeyong, knowing that he was trying to get a rise out of Ten. "I'm sure I can find someone though. Besides, I don't want my students to fangirl over you two instead of learning the dance." She giggled before standing up and headed to the sound system in the corner of the room. She plugged her phone into it with an aux cord before playing the song "Me Like Yuh" by Jay Park. Swaying her hips to the beat, Hea motioned the boys to come towards her with her finger. She then started to teach them the dance that she came up with, knowing that this was more of Ten's style when it comes to dancing, but Taeyong did really well too.

When Suli suggested that the boys and her could be in a poly relationship, both Yuta and Johnny looked at each other and glared at each other. "No way!" Both boys said at the same time before glaring back each other once more. "Suli, Johnny already had his chance with you. Besides, I don't like the idea of sharing you with another guy, romantically." Yuta explained. Johnny rolled his eyes, "I don't like the idea of sharing either, but I also deserve a second chance with you because when we first dated, we were young and in high school. We're older and mature now and I definitely think our relationship would be different, but better."

Taeyong glared at Ten as he danced with Hea. Sure, he could do the dance also, but this was more Ten’s style and it aggravated him, especially the smug smirk on Ten’s lips every time their eyes met.

Suli frowned, “I know but I like both of you and I don’t want to hurt either of you. Maybe you just need time to think about it.” She said, as she finished her tea and got up, taking her cup into the kitchen.

Hea caught Ten and Taeyong glaring, pushing, tripping, and shoving each other while trying to dance with her. She didn't know what their deal was, but it was almost like they were competing for her. She had noticed this behaviour for the last two months or more and now it's just getting out of control. Ara step away from Ten and turned off the music. "Okay, what is going on with you two? Why are you guys fighting with each other, especially around me?" She asked as she crossed her arms together and waited for them to talk.

Yuta and Johnny watched Suli leave, sadly, before they glared at each other. "Come on man, why can't you let me have a chance dating her, you already had yours. Stop being selfish." Yuta said angrily.

Johnny rolled his eyes, "First of all, that was a while ago and we were young. We both have changed since then, so our relationship would be different for the better. But as much as I rather not see you date her, I think we should consider her offer." He said as he sipped on his tea.

Yuta shook his head immediately, "Hell no. I'm definitely not sharing her with you." As he shot down his suggestion.

Ignoring his friend's outburst, Johnny continued. "Look I know it's not ideal, but if you think about it, we both would be getting what we want, which is her. Besides, if we say no, then she'll never date either of us. She'll find a new guy to date and you don't want that right?". Yuta sighed in slight annoyance, although he knew Johnny was right about the last part. He rubbed his face as he grumbled a few curse words before he slowly but surely agreed to try being in a poly relationship with Suli and Johnny.

Ten sighed, “it’s obvious we both like you.” He said. “We do, and we both want to date you but we’re not exactly sure if you like either of us?” Taeyong asked. He was hoping she liked him but considering that she was always so buddy buddy with Ten, he was honestly worrie.

Suli came back a moment later. “Have you guys thought about it or do you need more time?” She asked as she sat back down. She really hoped they had thought about and would at least give it a shot.

Hea bit her bottom lip, a nervous habit of hers as she took in what they had admitted to her. "I honestly didn't know that you guys like me like that." She told them although she did have a crush on Ten. She didn't know what to really think of Taeyong since he has always been a flirt towards her. "I don't want to jeopardize your friendship. But maybe I can go on a one on one date with each of you guys and then I can make a decision..if that's what you want." She offered.

Yuta sighed but nodded. "As much as I rather have my chance with you to myself, we've decided to try this poly relationship thing out." He told her to which Johnny had nodded in agreement. "We much rather share you than someone else have you." Johnny added and moved closer to Suli. Johnny moved to the other side of her and brought his lips to the crook of her neck, leaving light kisses on her neck before pulling away. "But I think we should establish some rules so that we all can benefit this and not step on each other toes." Yuta suggested.
