“Thank you,” Nikki said, glad that he wasn’t there to see the massive blush on her face. Listening as he asked about a movie or the park, Nikki nodded, “The park would be a better idea, Cora is still a bit too fidgety for an entire movie.” She was thankful that Brian was coming up with options that were kid friendly and would keep Cora included.

Zacky nodded, “I did, I told mommy I was very sorry.” He sighed softly, feeling every ounce of guilt coming back, “Saying you’re sorry doesn’t always fix the problem. Sometimes when you hurt someone really bad, sorry isn’t enough.” A small smile crossed his lips, “I do, I miss mommy a lot.”

"Maybe we can do something nice for Mommy. That way Mommy will forgive you." Daniel suggested after playing videogames. Then his little stomach began to growl, causing him to laugh. "Can we get pizza now Daddy?" He asked.

Brian chuckled, "well then, we'll go to the park after lunch. I know this great park that is like a kids heaven. She'll have a ball there and we can relax and chat while keeping an eye on her." He offered. Brian couldn't wait to see her tomorrow but also he was excited to get to know Cora.

Nikki nodded as she listened to Brian, “That sounds great.” She laughed softly, “You know, for not having much experience with kids, you’re sure coming up with good ideas.” Nikki held the phone to her ear as she got up and walked to Cora’s room to check on her. Seeing that she was still sleeping, Nikki went to the kitchen and got herself a drink, “Its really sweet.”

“I guess we’ll have to figure out something nice to do for her and hope she forgives me,” Zacky said as he put the controller down. Hearing Daniel mention pizza, he nodded, “Sure, I’ll call and order some pizza.” Zacky grabbed his phone and dialed the number, he ordered it and hung before looking at Daniel, “It’ll be about twenty minutes.”

Joelle was at the restaurant on a double date that her friend Zara had set up. Her date Xander was nice and he really did seemed very interested in her, while knowing that she is a single mother who has a civil co-parenting relationship with her ex
But Joelle was still not sure if she was ready to be in a relationship, although it has been two years since she and Zacky had broken things off. Another reason why she is hesitant to jump into another relationship is because she was afraid that Zacky would take Daniel from her because he wouldnt want another man in their son's life. Zara would always tell Joelle that Zacky's feelings shouldn't matter when it comes to her dating, Joelle couldn't help it.

Brian smiled wide as he heard Nikki compliment him. "Well I kinda did my research last night after bumping into you at the restaurant. I want to impress you and your daughter, just so I have a better chance of hopefully being your man." He chuckled softly. "I mean I'm sure you have tons of men lining up to be with you and I dont blame them. You're gorgeous, sweet, and all around a beautiful woman." He complimented, meaning every single word.

Nikki laughed softly as she listened to Brian. She thought it was great that he did some research to impress her. “That’s really sweet Brian. It means a lot that you’re so willing to do all of this,” she told him honestly. At that moment, Nikki was glad Brian couldn’t see her as her cheeks flushed red, “Well, any other man doesn’t stand a chance because so far you are doing wonderful.”

Once the pizza arrived, Zacky paid for it and carried it over to the coffee table in the living room. He went to the kitchen, grabbing plates and a drink for himself and for Daniel. Going back to the living room, he sat down, “Alright, you ready to dig in?” Zacky grinned over at his son as he opened the pizza box.

Daniel nodded excitedly, "Yess!" He beamed as he grabbed the plate from Zacky. He took a bite of his pepperoni pizza and then focused his attention on the movie that was playing. Three hours and two movies later, it was now time for Daniel's bed time. Daniel had finished brushing his teeth and changed into his PJs and was now being tucked in the bed. "Daddy can I call mommy to say good night?"

Brian laughed. "Well I meant every word and that makes me feel good about this." He told her truthfully. "I wish I can see you right now." He admitted. Brian wanted to be around Nikki all the time in fact he couldn't wait until the timing was perfect to ask her to be his girlfriend. Although he was sure they would be great together, the only thing he worried about was when he would away on tours for months. Past girlfriends hated when he would leave for tours but he hoped that Nikki would be understanding of his job.

Nikki hesitated, hearing Brian say he wished he could see her, “Well, if you aren’t too busy, you could stop by for a little while.” She bit her lip gently, almost regretting what she had told him. Spending more time with Brian sounded great and to be honest, she couldn’t wait for it. “I mean, only if you have time and want to, I’ll send you a text with my address,” Nikki told him.

Zacky watched Daniel as he ate and watched the movie. After the second movie, Zacky was starting to fall asleep himself. Once the movie was finished, he got up and followed Daniel up the stairs to help him get ready for bed. After tucking Daniel in, Zacky smiled and pulled his phone out, “Sure bud.” He dialed Joelle’s number for Daniel.

Joelle was in the bed reading her book, like she always did before going to sleep. Her phone rang and she reached over her night stand to pick it up. She saw that it was Zacky, so she answered the call immediately. Hearing her son's voice, Joelle couldn't help but smile. She loved that Daniel would call her to say goodnight when he was spending the weekend with Zacky. "Hi baby, you heading to bed?" She greeted her son.

Brian could hear the hesitant in Nikkk's voice and almost felt bad if he had pressured her. "I would love to come over, but only if it's okay with you. I dont want you to feel pressured to say yes." He said, pausing briefly as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously. Brian hoped that she would say yes, but he would understand if she said no.

“I would actually love it if you came over, I just didn’t want to be forward or anything,” Nikki laughed softly, feeling a little embarrassed. She ran a hand through her hair, “I didn’t mean for it to seem like I didn’t want you to. I’m just getting used to all of this again.”

Zacky smiled as he watched Daniel take the phone and talk to Joelle. He knew it was a big deal for Daniel to call his mom and Zacky knew it made Joelle happy to hear from him. Hearing the sound of Joelle’s voice slightly muffled as she talked to Daniel made Zack smile.
