Sylvia sighed softly as she scrolled through her phone. She was stuck inside of her house due to her escaping a serial killer recently. Unfortunately she wasn’t alone, she had to have a body guard for when she did leave the house and it was very annoying. “Gabriel, I need to go shopping for food sometime. I’m almost out” she called out.

Michael walked around the outside of the house, making sure there wasn’t anyone lurking about. He was hired to protect a girl who had a escaped a serial killer. Once he made sure it was clear, he made his way inside of the house. He figured Mallory was in her bedroom. That was where she spent most of her time.

Gabriel sat at a table near the window, his gun in pieces before him as he cleaned it. His spare was also on the table, loaded and ready in case he needed to use it. He heard Sylvia call out to him and he quickly holstered his spare and made his way to the room she was in. "We can go now if you'd like," he told her, standing in the doorway. A grocery store shouldn't be too crowded at this time, it would make his job of protecting her a little easier. He knew she probably resented having him watch her every move every time she needed to leave the house but it was for her own safety. Gabe took his job seriously. He returned back to the kitchen and put his gun back together quickly, an obviously very practiced habit. He holstered it and waited for her.

Malory was in her room, laying on her bed and staring at the wall currently. She knew she was being a bit petty, locking herself in her room and avoiding the man who was here to protect her. She wasn't much of a social butterfly to begin with and when she'd been told some man she didn't know was going to be living with her until the serial killer was caught, she'd responded by trying to ignore him for the most part. But it had been a week now and staying holed up in her room was only making her feel worse about everything that had happened and guilty that she was being so childish towards someone who was keeping her safe. She heard him return inside her house and she sat up. Maybe it was time to extend the olive branch and put her pettiness aside.

She padded out of her room quietly, searching for him. She jumped, thankfully holding in the yelp of surprise, when she rounded the corner and found him standing there looking up at her. "Everything good out there?" She asked, dumbly, any carefully planned conversation starter she'd had in her head gone now.

Sylvia looked over at Gabriel when he walked into the room. He was very handsome to look at but she didn’t like how he had to be everywhere she was. “Alright” she said as she got up and grabbed her purse. She then waited at the door, knowing that he would want to go first.

Michael nodded. “Everything is okay. Are you alright?” He asked, knowing that he surprised her. He had a job to do and he took it very seriously but he had to admit that Malory was gorgeous. At times she could be a distraction. “Anywhere you need to go?” He then asked her.

Gabriel glanced out the window first, checking for anything suspicious that would be immediately noticeable. He didn't see anything though so he moved out the door first, checking all around and then leading them out to his truck. He opened the passenger seat door for her and once she was inside, he climbed in the driver's seat. He had memorized most of the routes to important places that Sylvia may need to go, the grocery store being one of them. He glanced at her out of the corner of his eye. She was a very beautiful woman, there was no denying it.

"Yeah, I'm fine," she said, rubbing her arm absentmindedly. If she was being honest, she thought he was insanely good looking, though she'd never admit it out loud. "Um, no, no where in particular. I just wanted to come out and see how things were," she said, cringing slightly. She sighed. "Ok, really I wanted to apologize for being rude. I've been kind of a bitch about having to have a bodyguard and it's not fair to you. I'm sorry," she said.

Sylvia followed him out to his truck. She got in the passenger side and relaxed in the seat. Her attention then went outside of the window. The past few days had been crazy. From being kidnapped to now being babysat by a really sexy dude. “So how are you liking this job so far?” She asked, trying to make conversation.

Michael was relieved when she said she was alright. “It’s alright I understand it’s an odd situation but it’s really for your own good” he said to her. If this wasn’t a job and she wasn’t a client, he would be more than happy to ask her out but he needed to focus. “Why do we go to the store? Get out of the house for a bit” he suggested.
