'Carroll let's go out and have some fun. We've helped your friends find their new home and I'm glad we did. I'm very happy and we've rested for a long time after but now we need to go out like we did in the old days, drink, dance and sing the night away,' Maria smiled, getting dressed in an old pair of Jean's, a ripped up shirt and a nice pair of short heels.

Carroll shook her head, her blonde hair bouncing a bit as she laughed, 'sure let's go out Maria,' she got out of her pajamas and got dressed in a pair of loose Jean's, old shirt and her old aviator jacket from when she was in the U.S Air Force. She took Maria's hand and they left their house they shared with Maria's daughter and any friendly alien or friend who needed a place to stay, going towards one of Seoul's hole in the wall karaoke bars.

Minhyuk was being drug to the karaoke bar again for the third time this week. He didn’t mind, but sometimes he’d rather stay home and rest. His band just finished their recent tour and Minhyuk was still jet lagged, but here he was, being drug out to karaoke again.

“Loosen up, Min.” ilhoon said as they walked into the karaoke bar. Minhyuk scoffed and went to the bar to get a drink while the rest of his friends went to embarrass themselves on stage.

Carroll looked over when Minhyuk sat next to her, nodded politely then got the bar tenders attention, 'yes hello can I get another whiskey for myself and a vodka for my friend. Thanks,' she told him in Korean, noticing the way the man's eyes widened in surprise next to her. She smiled when the bar tender slid her the drinks, telling him thankyou again before getting up and walking back over to Maria and handing her, her drink. She felt the man's eyes on her the whole way back to the table.

'Hmm seems like you have an admirer Carroll.'

'It seems so but you know I don't have time for that and I don't want to start something with any human anyway. I don't age but he does.'

'You can't live like this forever Carroll.'

Carroll just took a sip of her drink and didn't respond, hoping Maria would drop the subject.

Minhyuk ordered himself a drink before turning around and watching the blonde woman walk off. He was surprised at how fluent she was in Korean.

He thanked the bar tender before turning in his seat and letting his eyes drift to the woman, as he sipped his drink. She was beautiful but she didn’t seem interested in him.

Maria got up and started to walk over to Minhyuk, 'hey. My name is Maria and I'm that ones best friend. She wanted to know if you sing a song with her and dance?'

Carol glared at Maria as she said that to Minhyuk. She turned away from them and downed the rest of her drink. Maria, what the hell!? Its like she listened to nothing of what Carol just told her.

“Sure. Why not.” Minhyuk said before following Maria. “Hello.” He said to the blonde woman. “I’m Lee Minhyuk, call me Minhyuk though.”

'I'm Carol Danvers. It's a pleasure to meet you Minhyuk but my friend and I have something we need to get too. Right Maria?'

'Actually Nick said that we didnt have to come tonight. He told me to tell you to relax and have some fun.'

Minhyuk smiled, “so, did you want to do a song or something?” He asked her, as he took a drink of his beer.

‘Yeah sure,’ she stood up from the booth and followed him up onto the stage, brought up the song list then asked, ‘so what song did you want to do?’

“Any is fine with me. Singing is my career.” Minhyuk chuckled: “you pick.”

'Oh your a singer? What kind of music do you sing?' She asked as she looked through a long list of rock, pop, country, rap and any other genre of music out there. She settled on a Korean pop song that had a Male and female part. Shes heard the song before and liked it. She looked over at him for an answer before she pressed on the song.

“I’m an idol, Korean pop.” Minhyuk smiled. He nodded at the song she had chosen.

‘That’s cool and my friend Maria has a daughter who loves Korean pop music. She got me to listen to some songs. She got me into it,’ she told him as she grabbed two mics handing him one before pressing play.

Minhyuk wanted to talk to her some more, but first they had to sing. Naturally when he started singing, his band mates noticed and started cheering him on. Minhyuk blocked them out, focusing on the song and the beautiful woman in front of him.

As the song played, she really got into it, singing along to her part, dancing and smiling. Her golden blonde hair bounced as she twirled around and nodded her head to the beat. She seemed to light up as she moved around the stage. Maria cheered her on as her and Minhyuk sang.

Minhyuk smiled as he watched her, also getting into the music. When he started dancing, his friends cheered louder, yelling his name.

A few minutes the song came to a close and she bowed. She put the mic back before getting off the stage and heading back over to Maria. She stood by the booth, not helping the smile that spread across her face. Maria smirked at her. Carol stuck her tongue out at her, ‘let’s go Maria.’

Maria nodded before both walked out of the bar. Carol looked back at Minhyuk smiling before both women left the bar.

“Damn, didn’t think you’d actually get up there and sing, Minhyukie.” Hyunsik teased him.

“Shut up.” Minhyuk waved him away as he ordered another drink.

‘It’s because of the woman that just left the bar,’ Ilhoon pointed out, ‘you didn’t notice how he looked at her the whole time. Wow you guys don’t pay attention to anything,’ he muttered as he grabbed his drink and left to go sit in a corner and watch the other performers.
