I am writing a story about a girl whose ex comes back into town & she used to be madly in love with him. I am not revealing the conflict between them until much later in the story. The problem I'm having is figuring out what the conflict would have been. I want it to be really bad because she's trying to play it off like she hates him now because of what he did & her best friend, Adam wants to kill him for what he did. In the story, he even moved away for a few years. He's only back in town for a little while because a family member passed away. Any ideas?
