Tuck sighed as he walked into the CIA agency located in the heart of London, meeting his partner by their desks, and handing him his coffee, ‘your lucky I woke up today and decided to be nice to my partner,’ he smirked as he went and sat in his chair, taking a few sips of the cold refreshing mocha frappe. He couldn’t stand the hot coffee, no. It was gross, no matter what you put in it. He’s tried numerous times to enjoy it, he just never could. He opened his laptop, checking his work email to see if his boss took his partner and him off being grounded when his phone rung.

It was one of his old band mates. Answering, he lifted the phone to his ear, ‘hey man, what’s up? Well no I’m not busy right now but wait you want to what? You know I’m in London right now and I work for the CIA. When the band broke up, I went back to school and got my degree in criminal justice. I don’t know if I can. I’d have to ask my boss for leave. I’ll call you later,’ Tuck hung up the phone, leaned back in his chair and sighed. The drummer of the old band he was in wanted to get the band back together.

He couldn’t just leave now. I mean he has a federal job now. He can’t just abandon that to go run off back to America to get the band back together. This day just got longer, he thought.

Vespyr hadn’t quite found himself a place he could call home, or a family. Even after the band had split up, the male had kept to his ways of seducing other guys and sleeping with them.

“Ves, your phone,” a man spoke to him in the bedroom. Ves pouted, the other’s words having ruined their fun, but he grabbed the phone anyway and answered. “Hello?” His eyes went wide, hearing who was on the other end. “You... want to reuinte the band?” He swallowed, mouth suddenly dry as he thought of that life he had been in before.

Tuck frowned as he thought about it all day long. Taking a month vacation from the CIA to travel back to America to get the band back together for some reunion concert. It's not only his job and his life here in London holding him back. Its Vespyr. He knew if he decided go back, he would have to see the blonde man again, talk to him civilly and he doesnt know if he could do that. They left things in a rough spot and it wouldn't be easy being in the same room as him. Groaning, he laid his head down on his desk.

His phone rang a moment later. He answered, 'yes I thought about it all day actually. Thanks a bloody lot for ruining my day with this. Yes I want to go but I still haven't talked to my boss and V...I still need to ask my boss for a month off to travel back to America for this. I know, I know. I'll call you back tomorrow I promise. No tomorrow's the earliest time I can tell you,' he hung up after that before getting up and walking towards his boss's office. Shit. He was going to do it but he wanted to get there and get back as quickly as he could so he wouldn't have to spend too much time with Vespyr. Please be just one concert or a few, he thought.

The blond sighed. He didn’t have a long time to wait until his flight to LA. The male exhaled sharply, thinking about his call to Tuck. He felt bad about what had happened between them, yet he couldn’t apologize. Tuck was the only one who hadn’t accepted Ves’ indecent proposal... or at least, the only one who had mattered who had turned him down.

He got on his plane and settled in for the flight. With any luck, he wouldn’t have to see Tuck until many hours later, if the other was even coming to this reunion.

Tuck frowned as he walked out of his boss's office. She had given him the time off since his partner and himself were grounded because of a fuck up. He was hoping when he asked, she would tell him he couldn't take the time off so he could call Vespyr and tell him I'm sorry, I cant come but now he could. He groaned, walking past his partners desk, telling him he'd call him later before heading towards his truck. Well he'll have to head home and start packing. This was going to be a long month.

Not even thirty minutes later and he arrived home. He walked inside, packing everything he'd need for a one month stay abroad. He picked up his phone on the way back out of the house and dialing Vespyr's number, 'I'm coming. My boss gave me a month off,' he told him before hanging up and getting in his truck.

Vespyr didn’t get the message until he had landed in LA. The blond headed for the hotel they were staying in for the first few days, but much to his confusion, he found out he’d be sharing a room with Tuck. His eyes went wide, but he begrudgingly made his way to the room, and selected a bed. He knew he wouldn’t be hearing from Tuck in a while. So he decided to sleep until the other came.

When Tuck's plane touched down in Los Angeles, he grabbed his bags and headed outside. He waved down a taxi before getting in and giving them the drections to the hotel. He sighed as he leaned back in his seat watching as the familiar scenery rolled past him. He loved being in L.A but with Vespyr and the band breaking up, it held a few bad memories for him so this time being here, he just wanted to get this done and leave. Go home. Back to England. When he got to the hotel, he walked inside and up to the lady behind the desk, telling her the band name and room number he got a text of when he was back in the airport in London.

She gave him a key and told him his room number. He took the stairs up to the tenth floor, wanting to drag this out for as long as possible but it came to end when he stopped in front of his room door. He knew he'd be sharing with Vespyr. Why did life hate him so much? Unlocking the door, he walked inside seeing the blonde sleeping on one bed. He walked over dumping his bag on his bed before laying back on the mattress and closing his eyes, just wanting to rest a bit. London to Los Angeles was a long flight.

Vespyr yawned, stretching in the bed when he heard the door open. His eyes flickered toward the other bed, seeing Tuck there. Instantly, the blond felt a flood of memories racing back in his mind. He shook his head, curling up on his bed again. He didn’t know what he could say to Tuck, who seemed to blame him for everything that had happened.

Tuck got up a few minutes later to go take a shower. He needed one. He hadn't taken one before he left and that felt icky to him. He stood, undressing as he went because he thought Vespyr was asleep so it didnt matter whether he undressed on the way to the bathroom or in the bathroom. He walked into the bathroom once he was completely bare, closing the door behind him and walking over to the shower, turning it on scalding hot. He loved the hot water as it washed over him, especially really hot water. It just felt good against his skin. It burned yeah but he liked a little pain.

Vespyr’s eyes widened, seeing Tuck get undressed on the way to the bathroom. The blond stifled a gasp so Tuck wouldn’t know he’d seen. But damn, the other was so gorgeous. Even now, after all these years. Vespyr wanted him so badly, but that would never happen. Never

About half n hour later, Tuck came back out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist, his skin slightly red from the water. He walked over to his bag, unzipping it so he could out a fresh pair of tight boxers, loose jeans and a blue v-neck. He looked over, Vespyr was still sleeping. Well he looked like he was sleeping. So removed the towel from around his waist and dried off before getting dressed. He felt so much better now with the hot shower and a clean set of clothes.

Vespyr stirred again. In the thirty minutes since the male had fallen asleep once more. “Tuck,” he mumbled in his sleep, face momentarily in a look if bliss. He was having some sort of dream about the other male, though he wished it was real life. He needed Tuck. Though he would never admit it.

Tuck looked over at Vespyr when he mumbled his name in his sleep, a look of blissful pleasure crossing his face. He got his headphones out and placed them over his ears, connecting them to his phone and blasting his favorite song. He ignored the way he felt when Vespyr said his name. No he refused to be just another one of Veapyrs conquests.

Vespyr stirred, shifting out of bed when a phone call came in. He groggily answered the phone, snapping his fingers slightly. “What? Tonight? But why?” He seemed more awake. The band was reuniting where they had their first recording session.

Tuck had fallen asleep, Metallica playing from his headphones. He had one arm over his stomach holding his phone lightly and the other down by his side. His head was turned lightly and soft snoring was heard. He looked so peaceful when he slept like nothing could touch him. It was a beautiful sight.

Vespyr frowned when he saw the sleeping Tuck. The blond exhaled shakily, and shook the other’s shoulder. “Tuck,” he said in a quiet voice, “We got to go soon.” He didn’t really want to wake him, but he had no choice. He sighed, waiting to see if Tuck would wake up, or if he needed to be louder.
