Caleb sighed softly, "oh well that sucks," he said softly. He touched her forehead gently, "you are not fine," he said gently. He looked her over, "come on, you need some rest, I'll find you some more blankets," he said softly. He ran his hand along her thigh gently, "then we'll see about showing you around the castle more," he said.

Alma frowned as she watched him, shaking her head as he insisted that she rest. "I'm fine. Honest." She lied, reluctantly laying back down, tugging the blanket around her tighter once he ran his hand along her thigh, swatting at his hand as she looked up at him with wide, fearful eyes, worried he would take advantage of her. "I'm fine." She repeated, although her voice was soft and trembling.

Caleb pulled his hand away, "I'm sorry," he said standing up. "I'll find you that heater, then leave you to yourself," he said gently. He moved towards the door, looking back at her momentarily. He was mad at himself for freaking her out, he just wanted her to like him.

Alma quickly turned to curl up on her side so that her back faced him. When she believed that he was gone she allowed herself go give in to the tears she'd been holding back, sobbing weakly as she tried to tug the blanket closer, shivering in the cold and trembling from her tears. She wanted to go home.

Caleb headed upstairs, cursing himself. He growled, feeling his anger build up. He hurriedly locked all the doors as he rushed upstairs.
"No Master, it's fine," he growled loudly.

Alma flinched when she heard him slamming and locking the gates and doors, wondering what had upset him so much. She thought better than to get up and try to figure out what was wrong, so she wiped the tears from her eyes and tried to go back to sleep, although she could hear Caleb in the distance talking to someone, and his tone set her on edge.

Caleb tried to keep his emotions in check, but his anger at himself boiled over. A loud howl echoed through the castle. Caleb hadn't managed to calm his master down.
The scratching of claws against the large wooden door, was loud, as the large wolf creature attempted to get through the door.
The scratching died down after awhile, and the creature ran out of the castle.

When she heard the howl Alma sat up with a start, staring at the wooden door as it shook as the monster scratched at the door and attempted to get into her cell. She screamed in fear when she was certain that the door would break, curling up and covering herself with the blankets as if that would protect her. She was relieved when the creature left, letting out a shaky sob as relief washed over her, eventually managing to cry herself to sleep.

The creature spent the night stalking the forest, hunting for a meal. As the sun rose, it headed back to the castle.

The next morning Caleb delievered Alma's breakfast later than the other morning. "Sorry for being late, I was tidying up the Castle," he said gently. He placed the tray down, "are you okay?" he asked.

Alma was still sound asleep when Caleb brought her breakfast, having not gotten much sleep the night before out of fear of the beast. When he came in and began talking to her she sat up slowly with a little groan, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "I'm fine.. Feeling better, but it's still cold in here.." She sighed, rubbing her arms to try to get rid of the goosebumps. The short dress she was wearing had ridden up her thighs in the night, although she hadn't seemed to notice, too busy rubbing the sleep from her eyes and running her fingers through her hair.

Caleb nodded softly, "good I'm glad, I'm working on getting a heater, hopefully I'll bring it in today," he told her. He shifted slightly, as his eyes drifted over her exposed skin. He moved towards the door, "again, let me know if you need anything, the bathroom is unlocked for you," he said lightly.

Alma nodded a little as she looked at him, offering him a faint smile. "Thanks, Caleb.." She sighed, standing slowly before moving over to the table to eat her breakfast. Once she was finished eating she decided to take another bath to try to warm up, running the water before stripping out of the dress and climbing into the tub, humming contently as the water enveloped her.

Caleb headed upstairs and located a heater for her room. He moved down to place it in the room, hearing her in the bath. "You okay in there Alma?" he called through the door gently.

Alma jumped in surprise when she heard him call through the door, having started to drift off to sleep, although she relaxed when she realized it was him. "Yes, Caleb, I'm fine... Are there anymore clean towels? And have my clothes been washed yet?" She asked, sitting up a bit in the tub to peer over at the door in case he came in.

Caleb smiled weakly, he was considering whether to return her clothes just yet. "I'll fine you a clean towel," he called through the door. He went upstairs getting her a towel. He sighed softly, also collecting her clothes.
He knocked on the door when he returned, "here, your clothes are clean, I'll take the dress, and clean it for when you need to clean your clothes again," he suggested softly.

Alma sunk lower in the tub when he returned before calling him in, trying to hide and make sure he couldn't see anything, although most of the bubbles had disappeared by then, and the outline of her body was visible under the water. "Thank you, Caleb... Are there no other clothes other than the dress?" She asked with a frown, looking up at him.

Caleb looked over at her when she asked a question. "I'm not sure, it's what I found, I'm happy to search again," he said lightly. He picked up the dress, "I know it was a little small for you, hopefully I'll find something more your size," he said.

Alma nodded a little as he watched him pick up the dress. "Yeah, it's much too small.. I'd rather just wear my other clothes all of the time than have to wear it again.." She admitted, reaching for the towel he had brought in, so that once he left she'd be able to get out of the tub and dry herself off.

Caleb looked at her, and frowned softly, "no we can't have that," he said gently. He moved towards the door, "we can't have you having to wear filthy clothes," he said gently.
He headed out of the bathroom, with the dress and back upstairs.

Alma frowned a little, waiting until he was gone before climbing out of the tub and drying herself off. Once she was dressed she drained the water from the tub before heading back to her room, fiddling with the heater a bit before settling back into bed with a sigh, glad that at least the room would be more comfortable temperature wise, although she doubted he'd be able to do anything about the terrible mattress.
