The air was so clean and comforting out in the garden. The sky was clear and as blue as the ocean and the birds chirped so loud and it took with each other that it was like they were singing. Of course, they sounded slightly different from the birds back home, but still. They sounded pretty.

Emiroth, a strange but beautiful place. A place that Alix liked to think of like a dream world, er, Kingdom. The weather here was nice, the clothing was beautiful and not to mention the food here was all delicious. Hell, she had yet to see a person here that wasn't beautiful to look at here either. It was just, an all-around beautiful place and it blew her mind every time she left her room.

Closing her eyes, Alix took in a deep breath, exhaling ever so quietly through her mouth. Her hands rested comfortably on her lap as her back pressed against a beautiful tree. In the near distance, she could hear people calling out for her. Princess, Princess? Where are you, your highness? Your tutor is waiting for you in the library Princess All of that was enough to make Alix roll her eyes. She was no princess, she was a normal girl. Hell, she wasn't even from this place, to begin with.

So, staying in her hiding spot. Alix smoothed out the bottom of the dress that the maids forced her to wear and looked up towards the sky. It was far to nice to be stuck inside listening to some old person going on about the history of a Kingdom that she just heard of a few days ago.

It took most of the morning of servants trying to find the princess before they finally went to the King. They explained what had happened and the man let out a tired sigh. He knew that there would be some issues when he brought this girl into the kingdom. Though that did not change the fact that Kyran was disappointed when things like this happened. Closing his hands together, the man whispered a few words under his breath before standing up and following the navigation that appeared in his hands.

Soon, the king was standing at the bottom of the tree, looking up at the princess who was hiding in the leaves of it. "Princess Alixandria?" The man said, his eyebrow rising as he looked up at her. "I am afraid it is not ladylike to be climbing. Additionally, it is bad manners to hide from your tutor and those searching for you." The man shook his head a bit before climbing up the tree until he was in a branch facing her.

He glanced over the woman, seeing that she was fine pleased him but her hiding had put him in bad humor. "Why do you feel it is a good idea to hide?" Kryon said as he leaned against the tree as well, watching her as he asked. "I would prefer it if you just ask to cancel your lessons instead of hide from everyone."

The voice of the King brought Alix out of her thoughts and caused her bright eyes to glance down towards him. Her bright blue eyes easily giving away that she really wasn't interested in listening. She was bored of all of this princess talk and about ladylike this, and ladylike that. It was so proper, so not like Alix at all.

"That is fine with me your highness," Alix replied, her tone monotone as she watched him easily climb the tree that she was in. To say the least, she was impressed he was able to climb the tree so well, but like hell would she ever tell him that. He was a stranger to her, some King who was desperate for a wife and brought her here against her will. What a loser.

A humorless laugh escaped from Alix as she crossed her arms over her chest and looked away from the King as he spoke to her. She was not interested in telling him all of the things that were running through her mind. He was not her lover, he was nothing to her. Just some guy who pretty much kidnapped her. "Like hell, any of you would listen to me." Alix murmured, snorting as she showed her displeasure in everything.

"This isn't my home, I'm not a Princess, and I certainly have no interest in learning about the history of your world. I just want to go home, and I refuse to listen to you or anyone else until I do." Alix blurted out, scuffing at herself for opening up to him after she all but told herself she'd refuse to.

"That is not true." Kryon disagreed with her, a frown on his lips. "We would listen to you. I want you to be comfortable and happy here. That being said, you can't always skip your lessons." When he did this, he knew that it was going to be difficult. He was taking someone from their own world, into his and calling them his Queen. It was no doubt that there would be some resistance. Though, Kryon did not know what to do now that she was here. How was he suppose to convince her to marry him and help him rule a country?

He took a few moments to take in what she was saying before the King responded to her. "Well, there is no way for you to get home. This is your home now whether you like it or not. And, no matter what you say, you are a Princess here. I know this is not what you wanted but in the least that title will be yours as it is our customs when we pull someone out of your world. I will assure that you get the respect that you deserve."

The King looked off to the side, before moving to start sliding out of the tree. "You do not want to do your lessons today, considered them canceled. Though, instead, there is something that I want to show you." Kryon moved all the way down onto the ground before looking up at Alix. He reached a hand up, offering her help down if she wanted it. "Please come with me. And, if you want, we can talk more about your place here, and how I can make you more comfortable."

Bringing her legs to her chest, Alix gently wrapped her arms around them before she rested her head against the back of her knees. The things that were leaving the Kings lips were going in one ear and out the other. She didn't want to listen to him, she didn't want to hear about how she was stuck here. She didn't want to hear about this Kingdom. She was homesick, and none of this was making her feel any better. Not in the least bit.

Slowly, Alix closed her eyes and let out a small sigh. Kyran was just lot letting up on this whole be a Princess and settle in here thing. It was stupid and boring, but he kept telling her to accept it. It sucked.

"Whatever," Alix mumbled quietly, giving in for a moment since she knew he wouldn't leave her be until she went with him to where ever it was he wanted to show her. Sitting up straighter, Alix all but smacked his offered hand away as she climbed down the tree after him. Sure, she had a little trouble getting down because of the dress' skirts, but, she managed none the less.

Dusting from the tree off of her hands, Alix crossed her arms over her chest and looked towards the King. Her expression showing that she was bored and unhappy. "What did you want to show me?" She asked, wanting to get it over with.

Once Kyran started to lead her to where ever it was that he wanted to show her, Alix followed. Keeping two steps behind Kyran like her tutor kept repeating until Alix couldn't think about doing anything else. As they walked, they passed by a few other noble people who were out for a walk in the gardens, they'd all stop and bow to the King and offered a hello to Alix as well. When they were at their backs though, Alix could hear some talking about wishing to be the ones to marry the king, or how they thought that Alix wasn't suited for him. Or something about the royals fashion, gossip just seemed to be a common thing here as it was in her world.

Kryan was quiet for the first couple of minutes as they walked through the castle. He did not acknowledge the nobles and servants that bowed to him however. It was not his responsibility to do so, definitely not when he was on a mission and with the princess. He did take a moment to look back, to ensure that Alix was following him through. The king wished that she would walk besides him, but she was doing the proper thing considering she was not interested in speaking to him much anyways.

He brought her up the stairs until they were at the upper level of the castle. Very few people were allowed throughout the whole castle. It seemed that the main floor was always busy but the higher levels always tended to be more private. Kryan then slowed his pace down so they were walking together. "I had thought it best to wait until later to show you this. Though, perhaps it will help you."

Eventually, Kryan stopped in front of a room. He mumbled some words under his breath, causing the door to unlock. The room was medium sized, with a two windows bringing in a decent amount of light. There was a desk and a bookshelf, both filled and covered with items. Though what was really interesting about the room is that it contained many items from Earth - or that looked like home. The walls were covered in drawings, the books were either from there, held stories from earth or were journals from those that had come before Alix.

The King looked to Alix, allowing her to move inside first before walking in and closing the door behind him. "This is where we keep everything from and retaining to your home. Many of past Queens came here when they were feeling home sick, or when they wanted a break." Kryan walked over to the bookshelf, picking up one of the journals. "I know that you do not want my help, nor do I fully understand how you feel, but." He placed the journal in her hands. "They do and perhaps you will find comfort and understanding from past Queens. All of them had adjusted and fell in love with this country. Some of them became amazing Queens that helped move the country forward, but all of them were loved by the people... I know this is not what you were expecting for your life but perhaps it would not be terrible to consider the possibilities. In the least, perhaps you will find some solace here."

As they walked through the castle, a knot started to slowly form in the pit of Alix's stomach. Her bright blue eyes glanced around nervously. The upper part of the castle was where their rooms were, at least that's where her room was located in this large castle. She didn't know where Kyran's room was, nor did she was to know. Oh, how she hoped that's not where he was taking her. She really didn't want to use the self-defense lessons that she knew on him. Who knows what his guards would dare to do to her.

Noticing something out of the corner of her right eye, Alix blinked in confusion and looked towards Kyran. The fact that he was walking so close to her made her a little nervous. She opened her mouth to ask him to not mock her walking pace but stopped as he started to speak. His words confusing her a little bit. So, she shut her mouth and instead pursed her lips. Looking at him with an unsure expression as she just took everything in.

Glancing forward as they stopped in front of a door. Alix heard the King speak some kind of magical spell before the doors open and the sight caused Alix's jaw to drop. She looked at King warily before she walked into the room. Her hands instantly reaching out to lightly run over all of the objects that were in the room. Some looked familiar to her. Others looked like things they would have had in the past. How many women exactly had been brought to this place? How many families were torn apart to help this Kingdom survive?

Glancing towards the King, Alix held out her hands and took the journal. Looking down at the journal, Alix gently ran her fingers over the leather cover. The initials J.H on the title of it. "I don't know what to say," Alix said quietly, slowly raising her eyes to look up into the eyes of the Kings. Her lips fighting from being in a tight purse to a slight frown movement.

"Thank you," Alix said quietly, she could feel tears pricking at the corners of her eyes and quickly turned her back to the King. The last thing that Alix wanted right now was for the King to see her ugly cry over some objects that belonged to people of the past. A few sniffles escaped from the young girl as she raised a hand and dabbed at the tear that threatened to fall. What a day it had been, and it was just a little past lunchtime.

The King watched as Alix moved around the room. He could tell that she had mixed feelings about it, and he knew that would be the case. Though he still hoped that it helped the princess more than bring her down. His advisors had suggested on allowing more time to pass before revealing this room to Alix, but Kryan had thought that sooner would be the better option.

"I am sorry that you are unhappy here currently, but I do believe that My country and I can make all of this worth it for you. The spell we use to bring someone here, it is tradition. It is powerful, and we do try to pick someone who wishes to leave their own world, but it is not something we have full control over... The spell is suppose to pick the person who is meant to be here, to rule and be by my side. It is not just a random selection. I hope that you understand that."

Kryan turned and headed to the door. He went to the entrance before turning and looking back at his princess. "I will give you some time alone, Princess. To look over these items and think about what I said. Though if you wish to talk, or are done with this room, just let me know. I will be two doors down to the left." Kryan nodded his head to her before continuing, "And do not worry about the items in here. I promise that you will be able to come back here as much as you want, and if you feel it necessary, you can take one or two items down to your room... But most things should stay up here."

With that, the king headed off. Leaving Alix alone seemed like the right thing to do at the moment. Though he did hope he was not making a mistake.

Many different thoughts ran through Alix's mind as she stayed in the room. Her bright blue eyes took in every nook and cranny. There were just so many different items in the room that it was kinda hard to process. Things like the old style cell phones that her parents probably had to some kind of old make-up that some woman in her worlds past probably used. This place was like a museum. It was amazing.

Moving around, Alix dragged her fingers over things. Feeling the strange textures under her fingers as she walked. Leathers and metals to silk items littered the room. It was mind-blowing to see. "I can't believe this stuff is all here, and so well preserved." She mumbled quietly as she found an old pocket cassette player.

Reaching out, Alix gently pressed the play button on the cassette. She had hoped to hear some kind of old music, but nothing sounded. Worried that she had broken the thing, Alix picked the object up and started to look into it further. Which, turned out to be a good choice on her part because it turned out it was empty. Which, resulted in a small sigh of relief washing over her. Glad she hadn't ended up breaking it.

Setting the cassette player down, Alix moved on to the few books that lined the shelves. Her eyes skimming the titles. Some of them looked like they were old school books, others, to her surprise, were actually cookbooks to make things from this world taste similar to earth food.

It had to of been at least a few hours before Alix finally deemed it time to leave the room. She had glanced at everything in the room. Fascinated by the vast collection of items that filled it. Holding onto two journals that were from women closer to her time period, Alix headed towards the room that the King said he'd be in. Her shoes making light tapping sounds as she walked.

Then, she slowly stopped her walking as she got to the room. Raising her hand, Alix for some reason felt a wave of nerves wash over her. She had no idea what room this was, could it be a bedroom or a meeting room. She didn't know. Still, though, she needed to ask Kyran to lock the room for her. So, taking in a breath for a little extra courage, Alix gave a quick knock before stepping back as she waited for him to open the door.

Kryan stood up and headed over to the door as he heard the knock. He was not surprised that she spent such a long time in the room. After all, it held so many things that reminded her of home, things that the King was sure that she missed dearly. Though, he still hoped that she would come to love his country soon. It wasn't Earth but he knew past Queens and Kings of Earth had fallen in love with this mysterious place.

As he opened the door, the room revealed to be a office behind him. It was small and didn't hold too many times, but it was a good place to hide out when need be. "Princess," Kryan said as he gave her a small nod. The man then headed over to the room, locking it up again with a small spell. Though when he was done, he turned to Alix with a gentle smile on his face. "I hope that you were able to find some things of interest in there.

He looked at her curiously before beginning to slowly lead her downstairs with him. It was later in the day now and time for them to enjoy dinner. "Would you like to talk at all, Princess? Or do you have any questions for me?" Kryan looked back at her curiously. He wondered if the room had allowed her to open up more to him. There was really no way for her to be more closed off than she already was, so at least he did not have to worry about that.

"I really would like for us to get along." The King said after a moment. "For us both to be able to reach some kind of agreement."

It felt like a piece of herself was being locked away when Kyran relocked the room that she had just been in. Although, Alix understood that it was important to keep the objects safe. They were now part of this place's history, as well as good reminders of home for those who were forced to be here.

Following Kyran, Alix once again kept the correct length back from the King. Her eyes looking at the pictures on the wall as they walked. She might have only been here for a few days or whatever, but, she never really stopped to look at the place. As she had always just run from those who wished to converse with her. Or hid in her room or under that one tree in the garden that she grew a fondness for.

"How many people from my world, er, realm have been brought here?" Alix asked once she was asked by the King if she had any questions. Usually, she'd just keep things to herself, but, as Kyran was nice enough to show her that room. Alix felt like she owed the man some sort of attention from her. He was, after all, going out of his way for her, so she had to give him that.

As the King spoke once more, Alix couldn't help but narrow her eyes ever so slightly. "What kind of an agreement are you talking about?" Alix asked, walking into the dining room after the King and then going to the seat that was designated to her.

Kryan thought about it for a moment. "Well, not all of the Kings and Queens have decided to pick their spouse from Earth. So, about 10, I believe." He said as he looked over at her, smiling softly. It was nice that she was finally talking to him, asking questions instead of just snapping at him every time that she got. He understood why but Kyran was ready to move onto something else, something more productive for the both of them.

The King moved into his seat and watched as the servants came forward, placing their food down on the table and pouring their drinks. Once everything was set, Kryan motioned for them to leave. The servants bowed before heading out of the room, closing the doors behind them. As silence fell over the room, the King turned his attention back to her.

"An agreement that would satisfy both of us." Kryan said as watched her. He wondered if it was something that he could get her to agree to. "Something more short term, something that we could negotiate later. Right now, I would like to make a deal that would involve you going to your lessons and making more of an effort to just learn about my country. Surely, there is something that I can do for you that would make your life here better."

Nothing but pure confusion was visible on Alix's face as she looked towards Kyran. She had no idea where he was going with this. Satisfy them both, what in the world could he be thinking? Hopefully, he wasn't thinking of something perverted, because if he was then she wanted nothing so do with it.

Reaching forward, Alix grabbed her drink and took a few small sips of the sweet liquid. Her gaze turned towards the King as she set the drink down. As soon as Kyran mentioned the lessons, Alix couldn't help but scowl. She hated school, and these damn lessons were going to be the death of her.

Although, since they were making an agreement. Maybe she could make some demands of her own. "I don't like that tutor you have for me. He's mean and too bossy." Alix outright said, showing that she was not going to budge on her opinion. "I want a new tutor, and I don't want to do them every day." She leaned back in her seat, arms crossed as she waited to hear what the King had to say about that.

"I'd also like to be able to explore the capital. You have me locked away, how can I learn your culture when I'm locked inside of the castle walls."

"I can't allow you to explore the capital until I am sure that you won't cause an outcry or try to escape," Kyran said as he looked at her a bit pointedly. "You don't understand the position you're in, the culture or proper manners because you don't take your lessons seriously. One bad move by you could cause a nightmare for me."

"But a new tutor I can do for you. And I suppose you do not have to do them everyday. A day off a week then?" At least her schooling request was not unreasonable but Kyran certainly could not allow Alix freedom around the capital, even with an escort of guards and trusted advisors. However, perhaps he was being unreasonable by keeping her in the castle.

"You can't explore the capital but being allowed out of the castle would be doable. Maybe seeing the country without meeting the people yet? We have abundant of nature that you could enjoy and there are some nobles that you could visit now." Kyran knew of a few people that she could interact with. Those that were trusted and would be sure to watch the princess closely.

Kyran watched her closely. "But you will have guards and advisors to go with you. Additionally, I would expect you not to snap at or try to ignore me anymore."

The muscle under Alix's right eye twitched a little bit as her request to explore the capital was denied. They were supposed to be negotiating things so that it'd be better for her, weren't they? So, why couldn't her most wanted thing be accepted? She was forced to be in this dumb place, so why couldn't she get something she wanted?

Shifting in her seat slightly, Alix grabbed onto her fork and started to poke around at the food on her place. Once again, it was stuff that she didn't know about. A big surprise for her, not. As the word 'but' left the King's mouth, Alix glanced up once more. The edges of her lips twitching as he agreed to the new tutor at least and classes off once a week.

"When you say nobles, who do you mean?" Alix questioned, trying to not snap at him about not wanting to meet his snooty friends. "How does your noble system work here? From earth, we don't really have nobles anymore, but in the past, they were just people who had money and power over a certain part of the land or something. Is that how it works here as well?"

A small snort left Alix as she couldn't help but roll her eyes at his last request of her. "You're really asking a lot of me, your majesty," Alix said as she eyed him. He was her kidnapper, keeping her as a prisoner. Sure, he's trying to make things work for her, but, she can't really accept being nice to him right off the bat. She doesn't have Stockholm syndrome. At least, she didn't think so.

"I can't promise that all the time." Alix finally said after a moment. "I will try, just don't expect me to be the perfect Princess you want me to be."

"I am not asking you to be perfect by any means but I do prefer having conversations like this more often." Kyran told her, honestly. "I understand that you will be quite mad at me for a while, especially since it is apparent that you enjoyed your life on Earth. That being said, if it was not all the time, I would appreciate it."

He watched the girl poke at her dinner for a moment, a thought crossing her mind. "If there is something that you would like the cook to try making for you, I could ask. They are always interested in hearing about Earth food, and would be willing to try something that you know." Kyran was unsure if they had the same food as there was on Earth, but he was hoping that the gesture would be taken well. Though it was hard to tell with Alix. She seemed to be easily upset, especially concerning her current situation.

"As for the nobles here, I am not sure what you mean. All of the nobles own the land that their homes are on, or are you speaking of something else?" He turned his head a bit. "I suppose those with Earth magic abilities own some land to use for their gifts. I think the water users have some areas of water they keep private as well... Though no one really owns land past their own homes. Even those who do have small portions do so to keep precious things to their magic abilities alive and well."

The King then continued. "The nobles here tend to be people that are particularly gifted in their craft. Some of them are new to court, others have had their families in court for a long time. Money is not a requirement but people as gifted as them do tend to have it as their skills are needed and paid for. So, I suppose in that sense it is a question of power. Though, there are others that are here because of they have shown to be particularly intelligent and, therefore, make excellent advisors and there are some that are nobles because they are so well received. Some families will always be apart of the court, however."

"Those that I would allow you to go see would be dear friends of mine. Trustworthy people. They would be willing to show you the land and be good hosts, I can assure you of that. Nobles do quite enjoying having fun and they might use the time to show off a bit, but that would be to your benefit." Kyran told her. "But if you are only interested in going to the capital, then you will need to wait."

Glancing up at Kyran, Alix couldn't help but purse her lips. He had a point that she could ask the cooks to try and make her something more earth-friendly, but. She had a feeling that would make her more homesick. Being separated by a whole realm was already stressful enough. An eating something that she adored back home might cause her to go into a full-on breakdown or something. "I don't think... that'd be a good idea," Alix told Kyran, her eyes glancing down at the strange food for a moment. "I don't know how I'd handle the reminder of home."

A slow nod of Alix was all she gave to the King as he explained the nobles here. "Back in the era of Kings on Earth, the Nobles were just rich guys who were close friends of the King pretty much. I don't really know much, but I think they were useless otherwise." She explained, shrugging her shoulders at the rest of the ideas. To be honest, Alix hadn't paid much attention to her history classes. She was to busy drawing in her notebooks to really care. Besides, she figures she'd never have to deal with noble people anyways. "The Kings back then would give the nobles large chunks of land to collect taxes from and get richer. Or something."

Giving out a small sigh, Alix sat back in her chair and glanced towards Kyran. "You mean people that would spy on me for you?" She arched an eyebrow as she looked at the of so powerful King. "Or did you plan on coming with me to meet these nobles?" Alix arched an eyebrow as she waited for a reply from the King. To be honest, she wouldn't of minded Kyran coming along to visit these other places as she wasn't very good at meeting new people. Although, if it got her out of the castle, then she wouldn't mind trying to not make a fool of herself.

Turning her attention back on the food that was in front of her, Alix let out a small sigh before she started to eat. It didn't really appeal to her, but it was something and her stomach was on the verge of eating its self. She had been on a hunger strike for the past few days because she didn't want to eat anything here, but. She had promised Kyran she'd try and be good.

After eating a few bites, Alix formed a question in her mind and glanced towards Kyran once more. "What do I need to know to be able to go into the capital?" Alix arched an eyebrow as she waited for a reply from the King. "Can't I just wear a hood or something so no one would be able to know who I am? I could also go out at night, that way there would be fewer people." She said, hoping to convince him. All of this stuff about learning manners and to be a royal was boring, she needed some excitement.

Opening her mouth once more, Alix was about to ask Kyran something else but stopped as there was a knock on the dining room door. Which caused Alix to sigh as just focus on her food instead.

"No, people that would not take advantage of you. People that would understand that you don't know the customs or manners of this world yet. People that I trust." Kyran responded back, a frown on his face. "You do not understand your position here nor the effects that it will have yet. I understand that and I don't expect you to know for a while now. But these are the precautions that I will take."

Kryan looked back at his food, beginning to eat once again. Dealing with Alix was very stressful for him. Especially since she would mean so much to his future. "I do not plan on coming with you to relax with the nobles. I figure part of your plan of leaving the castle is to get away from me." The King was not a blind man. He was aware that the princess did not care much for him. Kryan did hope that would change soon but in the meantime, he thought it was best not to force her to spend all her time with him.

He took a peek at Alix, seeing that she was eating bits of her food. He was glad to see it, considering the princess had been on a bit of a hunger strike over the last few days. Something that Kryan was disappointed in but not stop as she wasn't ill from it yet. Luckily, it seemed she would begin eating again. Kyran had been on the verge of looking for solutions to it as he would not allow her to make herself weak to prove a point.

"The people here have magic. Someone as high profile as us can't just don on different clothing and suddenly be hidden. There are magical measures to stop this, of course, but..." Kyran was quiet for a moment before continuing. "You will learn what is needed through your lessons. At this point, you'd only be allowed out to the capital with an enchantment on you to stop you from doing or saying certain things. I know you hate it here but I would prefer you not showing that to the people."

At the knock on the door, the man lifted his head up. "Come in."

Still picking at her food, Alix couldn't help but scowl at what she was tearing. She was like a dog here. Being locked up because she couldn't be allowed off leash yet. To have a shock collar on herself to stop her from doing or saying anything that shouldn't be said. It was all so stupid to her. She hated it, she wanted nothing more than to just, let out of Kyran's sight.

An annoyed sigh escaped from Alix as the King all but turned his attention away from her. Not that she didn't want his attention on her at all times or anything. It was just, they were having a discussion and she didn't like being interrupted about anything.

Glancing up, Alix watched as an older man that she's seen around before walk into the room. He helps himself quite high. "Your Majesty, Princess. My apologies for disturbing your meal." He said and walked towards the King. The man's shoulder-length white hair as straight as a needle. Alix watched as the man moved towards the King and whispered something into his ear. What he said, Alix couldn't really make out. Although she was pretty sure he murmured something about being well guarded against something. Yet again, Alix had no idea what the man was saying.

As the two men talked, Alix couldn't help but roll her eyes. So much for talking about making a deal with each other. "If you're going to speak in front of me, at least fill me in." She blurted out as she crossed her arms over her chest and sat back in her seat. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she looked between the King and the advisor.

The white-haired man seemed to hesitate for a moment as he looked towards the King to make sure he was alright with it. Then, he looked towards Alix and stood straight as he started to speak. "There is a caravan coming from Viawipia is due to arrive soon. In the letter from their King, they will be sending knights, and supplies in case something were to happen before the King is officially crowned King." The man explained, "So his royal highness will be required to have extra security." Alix slowly made an 'O' shape with her lips as she understood what he meant.

"Wait, what do you need to do before you're officially hailed the King? I thought you already were the King." Alix turned her gaze from the advisor towards Kyran, confusion obvious on her face as she looked between the two men.
