"I already did it a few days ago," Kyran said as he looked back at Alix. An engagement was the last piece the King needed before his official crowning ceremony. Luckily for him, they did not need to be married beforehand, nor did she need to be crowned alongside him. Otherwise, it would be potentially years before he was officially crowned. "At this point, the ceremony is merely a formality as I am already ruling my country. Things normally do not happen in this order but..."

The King trailed off before looking back at his advisor. "Very well. Once the caravan, please ensure that they are taken care of on arrival. They shall have the day to get settled, relax and go into the city if they wish. The next day they will start their duties as their king wishes.  I do not foresee any trouble coming our way but the help is certainly appreciated. I imagine we will other offers of assistance or gifts from the Kings and Queens before the ceremony."

Kyran set his silverware down on his plate horizontally, symbolizing that he was done with his meal. This new topic had quenched his appetite. "I will call a meeting of the advisors tomorrow to discuss the arrangements of my coronation. We will need to decide who will officially have the honor of planning it as well." He said as he rubbed his forehead. It would be improper for the King to plan and host his own coronation. Normally a family member would have such a responsibility but that was not possible at the moment.

"And we need to figure out how to celebrate with the people as well..." Kyran looked up at his advisor before looking back to Alix. "Though that will be for tomorrow. I have an important discussion to finish with the princess. Thank you for coming in."

When Kyran actually indulged Alix's request and included her by explaining things, Alix's posture visibly relaxed. She even managed to him a simple hum of understanding. It seemed that the ceremony thing to become a King was similar here as it is on earth back in the day. The royal needing to have a party and being recognized by the people and all of that jazz.

Shifting her gaze up towards the advisor, Alix watched and listened to everything that was being said between the two of them. Sure, she knew a lot of this stuff was important, but, she really didn't understand what was going on. "Yes, your grace. May the sun never set for you." The advisor said and they bowed towards the King and once more towards Alix before he turned and left the pair alone to finish their meal and to talk privately once more.

Once the door closed completely Alix looked towards Kyran. "What happens at a coronation ceremony?" She asked, an edge of excitement filling her as the idea of having a party here seemed fun. "Can I plan it? Please? Pretty please?" Alix asked, fluttering her eyelashes and trying to look as adorable as possible. "Or at least help? Please, please. Please, Kyran?" Alix gave her best puppy dog eyes as she looked towards the King, hoping that she could get her request approved from him.

"If not, can I at least plan the one for the people? Please? I swear I'll listen to whatever the advisors say that I can and can't do for it! I swear! Please!!" This might be the only chance for a while for Alix to plan something fun, so she wanted to take advantage of the opportunity.

King Kyran immediately felt thrown off by Alix's request. He certainly was not expecting her to jump at the chance to plan his coronation or a party for the people. And, because of that, the man had no idea what to say. Any sense of kingly presence immediately vanished as the man turned to the woman. His shoulders dropped, his eyebrows furrowed and a small 'what?' left him. His eyes narrowed as he looked over the girl, now trying to get a grasp of what was going on and why it was happening.

"Uh." Kyran could feel himself unraveling more as the princess gave him her puppy dog eyes and started to swear up, down and sideways that she would listen to their advisors. The man cleared his throat as he forced himself to sit up straight once again, trying to pull himself back together. Though he was unsure how much it was working. Alix was clearly excited about the idea and her begging was having an effect on him.

Before the King really even gave himself the opportunity to fully think it over, he was already speaking. "I suppose that you can help plan if you wish... I can't see the harm in it." Kyran said as he watched the woman flutter her eyes at him. He gave her a small charming smile before continuing. "Actually, it would be nice if you did." At least this would solve his issue of getting someone else to plan it. And it would follow tradition more so by it being someone in his family. They were engaged and would be married at some point. However...

"Are you sure that you want to? This is a very important event and there are some traditions that need to be followed. You will have to listen to the advisors and it is going to be a lot of work." Kyran continued on. "It is not just some huge party... well not entirely at least. There is a ball after the coronation but-" The King stopped himself as another realization hit him. This could be another way to get her to learn about their traditions, customs and culture. Plus, maybe it would actually make Alix happy. "I would just need you to take it seriously."

A small squeal of excitement escaped from Alix's lips as Kyran agreed to allow for her to plan this little coronation thing and something for the people. "Yes~" She said, letting the 'S' hiss out for a moment more before continuing. "I do, I really, really do want to." She told him, grinning as she agreed to planning things. Back home, Alix always got a kick out of planning parties and events for people and at school.

Then, as Kyran brought up that there were some traditions that needed to be upheld. The excitement slowly faded and instead turned to confusion. "What sort of traditions do I need to follow?" She asked, looking at the King in confusion. "Is there anything that you don't have traditions for?"

"Wait, there's going to be a ball as well?" Alix asked, her eyes widening a little bit in surprise. "Do I... have to learn to dance?" She asked, sounding wary as she looked at Kyran. When she was younger, Alix's mom tried to put her into some dance classes, but she ended up either stepping on others feet or falling onto her ass. It was not a pretty sight, or memory for her. She was often picked on because she had two left feet.

Slowly, as Alix saw that Kyran was turning serious, she started to relax. Her shoulder muscles slouching ever so slightly. "I am serious Kyran, please, let me do this. I love planning things." She told him, her voice calmer then it's been since she's arrived in this world. "I'm making an effort to settle in, the least you can do in let me do something that I like to do. "

"There are plenty of things for the coronation and the celebration that there are not traditions for. The ball itself only has a few minor ones. The celebration for the people has no traditions but there are certain expectations for everything. That it be grand, that everyone has a good time, enough food and drink and that it shows the new golden age that will be sure to come with the new ruler." Kyran told her with a small smile. "There are many rules for the coronation, however. Though that is to be expected."

His eyes softened as he looked at his princess. He really hoped that this would be something that would make her happy. Kyran hoped that she would not be disappointed in the end with what she had to do for it. And he hoped that Alix would not get overly stressed out about trying to plan it. But, most of all, Kyran needed his coronation to go flawlessly. He needed her and his advisors to ensure that. So, he gave her a small nod. "In that case, Princess, I would be honored if you were to plan my coronation. We will talk to the advisors tomorrow and then you can start."

Kyran gave her a warm smile. This was an opportunity for things to go fantastic for him. Now he just had to hope that was actually the case. Besides, he knew he could trust his advisors and the others to ensure that things go well. Even if Alix wasn't a good planner, there would be others there to push it in the right direction.

"As for dancing, you will need to learn how to. The coronation will not be for a while as these things take time. So you will have an appropriate amount of time to learn. Besides, many ladies and men use magical dancing shoes to help them, when needed." The king said before continuing on. "Anyways, don't you think we get back to our original discussion? Or are you happy with the arrangements we discussed?"

"That sounds a little bit like cheating," Alix mumbled quietly when Kyran brought up wearing magical shoes. Her nose even wrinkled ever so slightly at the thought of wearing something that would make her better at something, even though she wasn't actually good. "Magic is weird. Is there anything it can't help with?" She asked rhetorically.

Reaching out for the glass of water that was in front of her, Alix brought it to her lips. Her eyes glancing towards the King when he asked about their earlier discussion. "What else is there for us to talk about?" She asked once she was done drinking her water, doing her best to properly set the thing down. Not wanting to make any sudden loud noises or whatever.

"Is there anything specific you'd like?" Alix asked, arching an eyebrow as she looked towards Kyran. "I'll be open to talking about personal things, but I'm crossing the line at sharing a bed with you." She told him, not even wanting to go down that route. Sure they were supposedly engaged or whatever, but. They had honestly just met a few weeks ago and she didn't want things to be moving that fast.

Kyran let out a warm laugh before shaking his head. "I am not asking you to share a bed with me." He said softly. The King knew that they were quick awhile from that. While it was something he expected, he was okay with it taking a lot of time to get there. Right now, all he wanted was a princess that was willing to learn and to try to get along with him, the nobles and his people. "There is one more thing that I want, however. And then I will be happy with the deal that we have made."

Kyran shifted in his chair a bit as he turned to look at the princess. He was already pretty happy with how today's conversation had gone, but there was one more thing that he wanted for now. It was something that the King believed would make things better for the both of them. "Now that you are open to talking to me, I want to ask that you be honest with me when we are alone." He told her. "I want to get to know you, and help you. I would like for you to promise that you won't lie to me."

The King watched Alix closely as he spoke. He wanted to figure out if she was going to agree, and if she really would mean it if she did. It was something that Kyran wanted badly. Especially since he had no plans on lying to Alix. With what their relationship would one day be, Kyran wanted to be as open as possible and he hoped that she would want the same.

It may seem odd, but a wave of relief washed over Alix as Kyran said he didn't want to share a bed. For she was not ready for something like that with him or anyone for that matter. Sharing a sleeping place may seem not such a bad idea to some, but she really liked her freedom in her own room. She didn't have to do or thing as she please. Express the emotions she had been holding in all day.

Looking up towards Kyran as he shifted in his chair, Alix narrowed her eyes ever so slightly. Wary of what he was going to add to the deal they were working on making. To be honest, she was expecting the worst, something annoying. Not that he wanted her to be honest with him. Lying was something that Alix grew up doing a lot, she didn't like showing her true feelings to others. So, this request was asking a lot and it was making her a little nervous.

"I-I don't know if I can do that, Kyran," Alix told him honestly, her gaze looking down towards her lap as she nervously placed her hands there and fidgeted with her fingers. "From my experience, being honest is just asking for a shit show to start." She nervously bit her bottom lip. "Once again, I don't know. You're asking a lot from me and I just don't know. I'm too used to cover things up, I'm so used to being used by people and bending to their wants that I just don't even know what I think most of the time. So I can't really promise you anything. Sorry." Alix said, standing from her chair and heading towards the door. "We've talked enough about our deal. I'm gonna go to bed, I'm tired." She told him, then left without being excused by the powerful man.

It's now been a couple of days since Alix and King Kyran had done their little deal. Alix, keeping to her word. She has been attending her lessons, she's not been paying full attention to all of them, but most of them. Which is an improvement? Alix has also been doing her best to be more civil towards Kyran when they speak, doing her best to not snap at him as much or roll her eyes when she's in a mood.

All in all, she was doing her best.

The weather today was quite warm, meaning that the summer season for the Kingdom was finally approaching and warming the land more then it usually is. Flowers were in fuller bloom and the wind was calmer from the weather change.
Shifting from one foot to the other boredly, Alix leaned against a railing on the balcony that overlooked the front of the Palace. One arm fully resting on the stone railing, while her right elbow was the only thing resting on the stone. Her chin in her spare hand. Down below, she watched with her blue gaze as the caravan of Viawipia soldiers approached through the gates. A few wagons of who knows what with them to help aid with whatever was going on.

(Looks like my reply didn't send :( sorry)

Once an advisor told him that the caravan of supplies had arrived, Kyran thought it best to come down and welcome the men who was coming to assist during this busy time. Though, before he was about to head down, a thought came into the young king's mind. Perhaps, he should not be the only one to welcome the caravan. Surely, it would be something that his princess would find interesting. Especially after all of her requests about leaving the castle and going into the city. Maybe, what she wanted, was to meet others.

It did not take long for the King to find Alix overlooking the front of the palace. Slowly, he headed up to her. His hands were behind his back as he stood tall. "Good Morning, Princess." Kryan said softly as he moved to her side. His eyes drifted downward to look at her view. It seemed that she was already watching the caravan, and that caused a smile to come over his face. It seemed that his assumption was correct. "So you have seen the arrival of the caravan then."

The King looked down at the men and the wagons thoughtfully. Though he then turned to Alix. He found her much more interesting than some men and supplies. But he was sure that she would find the soldiers of Viawpia more interesting than he at the moment. Alix had certainly been better after their conversation a few days again. She had been going to her classes and his conversations with her had been very pleasant. Hopefully, he could get her on great terms with him. Unfortunately, Everything took time....

"Would you like to come down with me and welcome them to the castle?" Kyran asked her. "We could meet the commander and see what items they had brought. Perhaps they will have something that you have not seen while in the castle."

The sudden appearance of Kyran caused Alix to jump. She had not expected him to come and find her this morning. She had made sure to not tell anyone where she was going, fearing that she might not be allowed to see these new people coming. "Morning, your majesty," Alix said quietly, shifting her gaze from the soldiers to look up at the King for a moment before looking back down at the caravan that was approaching them.

"Well, it's certainly hard to miss them. Sir." Alix said quietly as she watched the men getting closer to the Palace. "I woke up this morning and saw something strange from my window. I came out here earlier, and have been watching since." She told him, moving so that she stood up straight and then faced the King as she heard him speak once more. Her eyes widened in surprise at what he had offered her.

"What, really?" Alix asked, her eyes wide in surprise. She had not expected him to allow her to come down. Much less talk to some commander of an army and look at what they had brought with them. "Are you being serious or are you trying to pull some sort of mean joke on me?" She narrowed her eyes momentarily at the King. Seeing if she could catch his bluff or not. She really hoped he wasn't trying to joke with her. She didn't want to be teased about this, the idea of meeting someone other then those who lived in the Palace was exciting to her.

Wiggling her nose ever so slightly, Rae watched Kyran for a moment more before slowly nodding her head. "If I'm allowed to, I want to join. Yes." She told him. Shifting her posture, Alix stood up straight like her instructor had told her to do. Then motioned for Kyran to lead the way, since she couldn't walk in front of him in front of other people. It was against the royal etiquette since she was only a Princess and he was the King.

Yes, you are allowed to come join. I did offer, didn't I?" Kyran was pleased that the girl seemed so eager to head down and look at the caravans. Though, he was also surprised that she thought he was joking with her on the prospect. It seemed to him that that would be a rather cruel joke, considering her desire to speak with those outside of the castle wall. He waited until Alix motioned for him to lead the way. Turning around, Kyran headed off the balcony and made his way down to the entrance of the castle, where the caravan was coming in and unpacking. He could hear Alix's footsteps behind him so the King knew she was following.

Unlike some of the nobles, or the people, the man had few concerns about Alix meeting with the commander and taking a look around. One being that these were not his people. If she made a mistake, it would be less of an issue. Additionally, Kyran knew that commander that was coming. Not especially well but knew that he was a warrior through and through. He didn't care much for politics or court customs so anything Alix would do probably wouldn't throw him off.

Once they arrived at the entrance, Kyran stopped at the door. He wanted to give Alix a moment to take in the sight before he headed off to the commander. Besides, he needed a moment to find where the man was himself.

There were quite a few wagons that were inside the entrance of the gate, and others that were waiting outside for room to come in. The soldiers were in a line, removing the supplies they had brought and handing them off to the castle servants. There were also some woman and children walking around from the caravan. Most likely, they were related to the soldiers and wanted to visit the capital, or had their own services to provide for the coronation.

After a moment or so, Kyran caught sight of the commander. He started to walk towards the man. He was an older gentleman with ginger hair. His armor was a brilliant gold and was even glowing with power. "Commander Pilck, it is very good to see you." As the King spoke, the commander turned and immediately bowed to Kyran. "And to you as well, King Kyran." Kyran motioned back to Alix, wanting her to walk up to join the conversation. "Let me introduce to you, Princess Alix."

It took almost everything inside of Alix to not squeal with excitement as she was allowed to come with Kyran to meet the caravan. Pep was in her step and a small grin threatened to tug at her lips. She was finally going to be able to meet people who didn't constantly seem like they had a stick shoved up their asses and their noses stuck pointed towards the sky.

As they approached the front doors, Alix slowed her pace as Kyran stopped. Her mouth dropping ever so slightly as she admired the large caravan. The carriages that held the supplies were huge. Much larger than a ford truck back home. The height reminded her of an elephant and she was quite sure that those things pulling the carriages were some sort of DNA experiment that had gone wrong. Horribly wrong.

"Woah," Alix mumbled quietly, her bright blue eyes widening for a moment. Then, they slowly narrowed warily as she watched Kyran move out of the doorway. Alix gulped and nervously watched him for a moment before following. Her eyes looking around at the other people and carriages as she followed the King. Of course, the few people they past bowed to Kyran. Which didn't surprise Alix, but what did was how some of the women seemed to keep their eyes on the Kings back once he had passed them. Her eyes going towards the dressed that they wore, giving her an idea of what these women were after.

A small huff escaped from Alix, she really didn't care that there was a woman vying to try and sleep with the King. He wasn't anything to her but a thorn in her side. He could sleep with whoever he wanted, he was the King after all.

Glancing forward as she heard her name, Alix quickly moved to catch up to the King. Her gaze looking up towards the tall ginger haired mans face. He did not seem pleased with having Alix joining the conversation, but still. The man greeted her with a bow before turning towards Kyran, acting like the young Princess wasn't even there. Not even caring for her to greet him as he spoke to the King. "King Orion has sent nothing but the best for you, your highness." The man said, his voice deep as he spoke. "Twenty thousand men are at your disposal, twenty carriages filled with food, medicine, and other supplies as well." The man said, going on to explain what some of the other carriages carried.

Meanwhile, as the men spoke, Alix lost interest. The commander guy seemed to into supply talk and she just wanted to snoop. So, Alix did just that. Her curiosity getting the best of her as she slowly backed away from the men. Her bright blue eyes looking over all of the carriages, her right hand reached out and gently brushed against the extremely finely carved carriages. The gold accents giving away where they had originated from.

"Oh, careful," Alix said softly as a child ran past her and tripped. Resulting in Alix reaching out and catching it and helping it up. The child merely offered her a small smile before running away once again.

Standing up straight, Alix watched as the child ran off before she turned to look up at the carriage she was by. A small gasp escaped from her as some sort of feathered winged beast shoved its head in her face. Beady bird eyes staring straight at her. "K-Kyran!" Alix stuttered out quietly, then she started to stumble back before running back towards where she had last seen the King and the Commander. "Kyran!" She yelled out, grabbing onto his arm as she looked scaredly behind herself before looking back up towards the King. "T-there's some sort of monster." She rushed out, then pointed in the direction that she had found the thing. "It- it's over there, it's got these beady eyes and it looks really dangerous,y-you have to do something about it."

Kyran glanced down at Alix with a raised eyebrow as she was quick to grab onto him. He could see the fear on her face and it took everything in the man to not let out a disappointed sigh. Alix must have run off somewhere and gotten afraid. Otherwise, she wouldn't have seen the 'monster' from over there. The man had hoped that Alix would be patient but apparently not. The King looked up at the commander. "We will speak later commander. Once everything is unloaded, you and your men should rest for the day after your long journey."

After the commander had bowed and moved back to his duties, Kyran looked down at Alix who was affixed to his arm. "Let's see this beast." He said as he reached over and gently patted the princess' hand. This was something he should have seen coming. There was much in this world that Alix had never heard of before, much less seen. Though, it would have been easier to show her if she had waited to tour the caravans with him.

Once they were at the caravan she pointed out, Kyran let go of the princess and headed closer to where the beast supposedly was. Though as he went to the back and saw the winged creature, a bit of a smile came over his lips. He then could not stop the chuckles that left him. The King tried his best to muffle them but to no avail. "I am sorry Princess, but this is no beast nor is it dangerous."

The King moved his hand beside the large bird's perch and waited for the creature to step out onto his arm. He then brought it out to show Alix, but was sure to keep some distance from her. The creature was huge and it did have beady eyes. Though, under the sunlight, the once blackbird illuminated with flashes of gold. "This is a rare and precious songbird. Admittedly, it's appearance is rather...unseemly in the shadows but quite beautiful in the light. And these birds tend to be friendly even if they do like to keep their distance. This one is tame, however."

Fear seemed to pulsate through Alix's body as she clung to Kyran's arm. She could feel herself shaking a little bit in freight. The thing looked like it was about ready to gouge out her eyes and eat her or something. It was truly terrifying. Something she surely hoped to never see again in her life.

The look that Kyran had given Alix when she first told him of the thing informed Alix that she had made a bad choice. She knew that she should have stayed still and listened to them speak more, but, the Commander obviously didn't care to speak to her. Alix knew when she wasn't wanted, so she went off on her own. Finding the beast wasn't exactly something she had planned, nor had she planned to run to the King and ask for him to do something about it. It just sorta happened.

As they approached the caravan that housed the weird beast, Alix let go of Kyran's arm. Instead, she stayed a caravan back and slightly hid. Her head peaked out as she watched the King. Her worry increasing as she heard him chuckle and easily reach into the things cage. A small gasp escaped from Alix as she watched him so easily have it perched on his arm. The colors of the bird thing changing in the light.

"N-no, that thing is not," Alix mumbled, keeping her distance in her little hiding spot. "P-Put it back, Kyran," Alix mumbled quietly, not in the least bit settled with seeing that it was a bird. It was huge compared to what she was used to, and she didn't even like those smaller ones at home either. "I swear that thing looks like it's going to attack at any moment."

Moving so that she was fully behind the caravan that she was hiding behind. Alix pressed her back to it and closed her eyes. She breathed in deeply then slowly exhaled as she tried to calm her rapid heartbeat. That thing had truly terrified her. Never in her life had she felt so afraid by an animal before. Maybe it was because this was a whole new world in general, but Alix didn't really trust anything anymore.

The King frowned a bit as Alix continued to be fearful of the creature. He looked to the songbird for a moment before letting out a small sigh. In truth, he did not find the creature frightening in the least bit. Actually, he found it rather sweet and pretty. Though, he knew what it was able to do and she did not. "I promise that it is not going to attack you," With his free hand, he reached over and gently ran his fingers along the front of the bird. "But I will put him back for now."

Turning, Kyran made his way back to where the bird had come from and shifted it back to its perch. But, this would be an issue for later. The King was sure that the bird would be used for something during his coronation and he did not want Alix to be afraid of it. Especially since it would now be living in the castle. But that felt like an issue to deal with when they were alone and not in front of everyone in the courtyard.

With that settled, the man went back to where Alix was hiding and offered his arm to her. It was not traditional for them to walk side by side, nor was it for him to offer her his arm. But they were currently in a courtyard with people buzzing about, not walking through the castle. This was a relaxed enough place that King Kyran did not have to worry about manners too much. "Lets go look at the other items that they have brought." He said warmly. "I am sure that there will be a lot of things here to interest you."

Kyran waited until Alix made the decision to take his arm or not before continuing forward with her. There were many caravans. Some just had the basic supplies of food, drink, security and the such. But there were some caravans filled with decorations and unique items as a gift for him. "What are you interested in, Princess?"

With her eyes closed, everything that Kyran was saying was just going through one ear and out the other. Alix didn't care how pretty the bird was or what it meant. She didn't like birds and just because it was a gift didn't mean anything to her. Fear was fear, and she couldn't just wish it away so easily.

Feeling the presence of someone standing next to her, Alix slowly cracked her eyes open. Her bright blue eyes looking at Kyran unsurely before slowly accepting his arm. Her gaze moving downwards as she followed him. Embarrassment washed over her in waves at what had just happened.

The warm summer air was still hot as they walked through the caravans. Looking at what each of them provided for the King to use as he pleased. "What interests me?" she asked, making sure she had heard the King correctly. Her gaze shifting towards his for the first time since they started to walk once more. Then, she quickly looked away as she took in the caravans that were surrounding them.

"I guess the clothing style, and jewelry interests me, and the... weapons." Alix added the third thing quietly. Her cheeks going a little bit pink as she felt a little embarrassed for liking something so dangerous. The swords and spears here just looked so mesmerizing, she couldn't help but to be drawn to them. The ones that were decorated in those stones were her favorite ones to look at.

"Then we should head over to those caravans," Kyran said, keeping his voice soft as he continued to lead the princess. It was clear to him that she was easily spooked. Admittedly, such a thought worried him. Leading a country was not for the faint of heart... Kyran wondered if he would be able to protect her from the true nasty business of it all. Of course, there would be plenty of responsibilities that were pure but... punishing criminals alone was a little less pleasant.

The King tried his best to push those thoughts down for now. There was no need to overly worry about such an idea when all he had was one experience to make assumptions off of. It was just as likely that the bird did try to attack Alix or she had an innate fear of them. The people from Earth all had their own strange behaviors, which he knew from the writings of his ancestors. Alix might have her Earth room on past rulers, but Kyran had his own information as well to look through.

After a short walk towards the back of the caravans, it was revealed that there were two filled with clothing, jewelry, makeup and the like. One was for men and the other was for woman, so Kyran brought her to the one for women. There were many fine pieces inside, obviously meant for the high ladies of his court, including the Princess. Most of the clothing was brightly colored, favoring blues, oranges, and pinks. Gold also seemed to be an accent color throughout the dresses, using beading and patterns throughout it. Though, all of the outfits seemed most fit for summer weather. The material was light and breezy.

"These are dresses made from Viewipia. They are the kingdom from the south and a desert kingdom. Their clothes fit what is needed there, so you'll probably only be able to wear these outfits during the summer. None the less, they are a favorite during that time of year." Kyran stood back to allow Alix to look around at the outfits. "If there is something that you like, we can send it to the seamstress and she will fit it for you."

A look of uncertainty flashed through Alix's eyes as she looked up at Kyran. She had been expecting him to just take her back to the Palace. Talking about minimal things and just getting to know her. The last thing she would have expected from him would have been for him to have agreed to allow her to look at the pretty clothing the people of Viewipia brought for the people here.

"There's so many of them," Alix mumbled quietly as she glanced over the dresses from the door of the caravan. Glancing over her shoulder, Alix made sure that Kyran wasn't joking about her looking at the dresses before slowly stepping into the caravan and starting to look around. Her right hand reached out as she ran her fingers over a few of the different dresses. A small smile coming over her lips as she felt the soft fabric of the dresses under her fingertips. "Wow." She breathed out quietly.

Slowly, Alix moved through the whole caravan. Being careful that she didn't ruin a dress by pulling on a seem or something. All of these dresses looked beautiful and fragil like they'd break at any given moment. Then, one caught Alix's attention and she gently grabbed it from the rack it was hanging on and held it up to herself. It looked really pretty and unique. Turning towards Kyran, Alix looked shyly between him and the dress. "What do you think?"

Turning in a slight circle, Alix couldn't help but grin at how the dress's skirt part seemed to flow so nicely. Sure, it was different compared to all of the other dresses, but. Alix loved it, it was like the storm that was her life. Beautiful, but dangerous, unpredictable.

"It is almost as beautiful as you." The King said with a grin on his face. He was pleased at the princess was at ease again, and seemed to be having a good time as well. Turning to one of the castle staff, he asked a maid to take the dress and bring it to the seamstress for Princess Alix. Once the maid agreed and headed back to the castle with the dress, Kyran turned back to Alix.

"I believe it is time for us to head back into the castle and allow them to finish up their work without interruption," Kyran said, a grin on his face. He held his arm out for the princess again, waiting for her to take it before he started to lead her back to the castle. As they pulled away from the caravan, they started to move up towards the entrance of the castle, the others before it now done with their unloading process. With the day still being young, Kyran knew that the men and woman who came would have plenty of time to rest and see the city.

Once the palace doors were closed behind then, Kyran turned to her with a small smile on his lips. "We can always go look at what was brought later today, once it's put away properly. If you are still interested in looking at the swords that is." He did find that rather entertaining, that his Princess wanted to look at the weapons that were brought. The man wondered why but it seemed best to ask those questions if they did end up going to look at them.

The King was quiet for a moment as he glanced towards one of the walls, looking to see the time. He then glanced down at Alix with curious eyes. "Tell me Princess, do you have somewhere you need to be or do you have some time to spend with me?"

It was kinda a bummer that they had to head back to the castle. Alix was having so much fun looking around at the pretty clothing and different things that the caravan brought with them. It was almost like a waste, not being able to peak her nose into each caravan to see what she could get herself into, a bit. Then again, she was sure that she had caused King Kyran enough grief over her wondering off and getting freaked out by the bird thing.

A small sigh escaped from the blonde girl as she followed the King. Her arm wrapped around his as she followed him. Doing her best to not walk to quickly, as she wanted to enjoy the nice weather as much as she could. It wasn't often that she wasn't being yelled at to get back inside to finish doing whatever it was that they wanted her to do. Lessons, dress fittings, eating a meal with the King.

Once they were inside, Alix was sure that Kyran would release her and tell her that he had god knows what to do. Which was why she had a slightly surprised look on her face when he asked if she had some free time.

To be honest, Alix was quite temped to tell him that she was a very busy person and couldn't just drop her plans of being off on her own at any given moment. She didn't do that though, she had promised she'd be kind, so that's what she was going to be. "I do have some time, what did you have in mind to do?"
