Kryan was quiet as he listened to Alix closely. It was easy to tell that she was having some doubts about her planning abilities. This he was not surprised by. He, himself, was a little nervous when she took on the responsibility of his ceremony. Not for his own sake but for hers. It was a lot of work, even more so for someone who had never planned a royal event before. Of course, Kyran would have preferred if she focused on him and her studies but she had been so determined that he didn't want to stand in her way. Now he just needed to help her get that fire again.
Reaching out, Kyran slowly ran his fingers through her hair, wanting to calm her down a bit. "I am excited to see how you plan it. I look forward to seeing your vision and what you were able to do with my advisor's help. As for them trying to ruin the party, I doubt it. If the ceremony goes poorly, it also reflects on them and I guarantee that is not something that they would want. Besides, I trust them, they are my advisors for a reason." He spoke gently. "And if you mess up, then you mess up. We will just try to roll with the punches. There is not much we can do about that. But, honestly, I think that it will be amazing as long as you really put the effort in. Sometimes, it takes time for things to work out."
The king looked her over for a moment before continuing. "However, if you really think that the advisors are out to get you, we can talk about that. And if you are truly worried about the ceremony going on, we can talk about that too. There are things that we can do about both of those, okay? I just don't want you to give up or feel like you are being set up in some way."
His hand slowly moved to the side of Alix's cheek, lifting it up slightly so that she was looking at him. "What do you think? Does that sound good?"
