Kryan was quiet as he listened to Alix closely. It was easy to tell that she was having some doubts about her planning abilities. This he was not surprised by. He, himself, was a little nervous when she took on the responsibility of his ceremony. Not for his own sake but for hers. It was a lot of work, even more so for someone who had never planned a royal event before. Of course, Kyran would have preferred if she focused on him and her studies but she had been so determined that he didn't want to stand in her way. Now he just needed to help her get that fire again.

Reaching out, Kyran slowly ran his fingers through her hair, wanting to calm her down a bit. "I am excited to see how you plan it. I look forward to seeing your vision and what you were able to do with my advisor's help. As for them trying to ruin the party, I doubt it. If the ceremony goes poorly, it also reflects on them and I guarantee that is not something that they would want. Besides, I trust them, they are my advisors for a reason." He spoke gently. "And if you mess up, then you mess up. We will just try to roll with the punches. There is not much we can do about that. But, honestly, I think that it will be amazing as long as you really put the effort in. Sometimes, it takes time for things to work out."

The king looked her over for a moment before continuing. "However, if you really think that the advisors are out to get you, we can talk about that. And if you are truly worried about the ceremony going on, we can talk about that too. There are things that we can do about both of those, okay? I just don't want you to give up or feel like you are being set up in some way."

His hand slowly moved to the side of Alix's cheek, lifting it up slightly so that she was looking at him. "What do you think? Does that sound good?"

Tears started to build in Alix's eyes as she felt Kyran running his fingers through her hair. It was a small action, yet he had no idea the impact it had on her. Between the planning of his coronation, trying to fit into this new world and learning how to be a Princess. Alix's stress level had risen considerably. If anyone thought going through high school was tough, then they should try and go to a whole other world without their consent.

A small sniffle escaped from Alix as she listened to Kyran. His words really felt like they were helping her. "Okay." She said quietly as she slowly raised a hand to place over his as she leaned her head into his soothing touch. "That all sounds good to me." Her voice was quiet, she could feel herself quivering slightly from holding back sobs of frustration and anxiety, yet his words were really helping her. She no longer felt like she was going to unleash a river of tears, her body was just trying to catch up with her calming down.

"Thank you, your highness." Alix said quietly as she slowly brought her hand down. Pulling his hand away from her cheek slowly. Then, her fingers slowly intwined with his as she took a small side step. "Can we finish our tour? I think I'd rather see the top of the tower instead of seeing more magic if that's alright with you." She said quietly, hoping that he'd not be mad over her wanting to end part of their little trip up the tower a little short.

As they started to walk up the stairs once more. Alix leaned against Kyran slightly as she still held his hand. "So." She started quietly, her gaze on the floor as they walked before slowly raising up towards the king. "Is the tower open to all nobles who want to learn magic? Or, do they have to get special permission?" Alix asked, truely curious about what the answer might be.

Kryan smiled down at her warmly as he watched her try to calm down. He knew that everything was going to be okay, that Alix and the others would do a great job. That Alix would find happiness and calmness here. Just everything took time. But, more of all, Kryan was glad that Alix felt comfortable to confide in him now. It really did seem like she was beginning to open up to him and that would only be a good thing for the King.

"Of course, lets go to the top and then we will get you to your room to take a warm bath," Kyran told her softly as he led her up the tower. They were actually pretty close to the top of the tower, only having one more flight to go up. His fingers wrapped around her hand, holding onto her gently as they continued on their way. "The tower is open to all nobles who are already trained. Those who need to learn, need to come with a master. Though the tower is closed when I am training." Kyran explained to her.

Once they were at the top of the tower, Kryan's hand moved to the small of her back. He led her out towards one of the edges of it. The top of the tower was rather high up but it was not the highest tower of the castle. However, it was high enough to look down into the courtyard and look out into the city and the forest. The walls of the tower came up to their chest, preventing anyone from accidentally falling over.

"Would you like to take a look at the city?" Kyran asked her as he brought her over to the edge. Since it was still the middle of the day, the city was absolutely buzzing with activity.

A feeling of warmth swelled in Alix's chest as she followed Kyran up the steps. Her hand in his gripping a little tighter as she started to get nervous about how hight they were getting. "How often do you train here?" Alix asked as she glanced up at the man she's going to be forced to wed in a couple of months.

"Did you have a master when you were younger? Or, did your parents teach you?" Alix asked as they arrived at the top of the tower. "Oh wow." She mumbled quietly as she took in the area. Her back flinching slightly as she felt Kyran's hand going to her back, but then instantly relaxing at the feeling.

At the question about looking at the city, Alix's eyes widened as she looked up at Kyran. "Yes please!" She said excitedly and allowed for the King to walk her towards the edge. Since they were so high up, Alix got to see a better view of the city then she could from her current bedroom. "Woah." She murmured quietly as she took in the view that was laid out before her. The sight of people walking around in the streets caught Alix's attention and she couldn't help but admire how busy it looked. "There's a lot of people there, that's the capital. Correct?" She asked, glancing up towards Kyran for the umpteenth time in the past ten minutes before she looked out at the town once more.

Crossing her arms on top of the stone railing, Alix rested her head on top of them. Her bright blue eyes just focusing out on the town that she was forbidden from entering since she wasn't aware of all of the customs yet. "When you were younger, did you ever sneak out to anything stupid?" Alix asked quietly, her eyes not shifting towards the King as she spoke this time. A little nervous for the answer this time. "Meet a girl, go to a party, go to a tavern?" She gave some examples of things to make sure that Kyran knew what she was talking about.

"I train here a few times a week," Kryan told her honestly. "I need to ensure that I keep up with my skills and even learn new advanced ones when the need arises. It is important that I stay strong so I can protect myself and others if the need arises. Of course, I hope it does not but I need to prepare myself." He glanced down at her, his eyes softening a bit. "Once you have a grasp on your current lessons, I will probably have you start defense training as well. I will never ask you to fight with me but it is important that you know how to defend yourself."

The man then glanced out at the city with a small hum. "I did have a master when I was younger. My parents were able to come train with me, teach me some things but they were too busy to be my sole trainer. And I think they preferred to keep our free time together more about enjoying ourselves."

Kyran glanced over at all of the people moving about in the city. It really was a wonderful sight. These were his people, the ones that he had sworn to protect. And so far, he had been able to do that. To allow them to lead the lives that they do. Kyran just hoped that he was continuing to make the right choices, that he was doing what he should for them. "Yes, that is the capital. Though this is only our second biggest city, surprisingly enough. You will one day go there as well, it is by the ocean and not too far from here."

A light laugh left the King at Alix's question. "Yes, though I still do it from time to time. Sneak out and do something stupid." He shook his head a bit. "It is difficult being in a position like ours. Sometimes you need to let out some steam. I normally just go to the tavern though there is plenty of fun that you can find in the city. And I promise you that we will sneak out together. Once you are a little farther in your lessons, we can go out in secret without getting caught." He leaned down and looked her in the eyes. "But I will bring you our properly the first few times. You are a very smart woman but knowing what to do and what not to do in a strange new world is too difficult for anyone."

In the distance, the moon rising could be seen and it caught Alix's attention. It was always so interesting to see the moon here because it wasn't just one mood. No, there were two of them, and she'd heard stories about why there's two. One servant told her that the second was made by magic and was created to add extra power to the land that evaporated during the day. Another person told her that the second, smaller moon was once part of the planet they lived on and was once a mountain at one point. It was in the way during construction, and some earth movers decided to uproot the mountain all together and throw it into the sky. Both stories were interesting in their own rights, but neither particularly felt like they were the truth.

Glancing towards Kyran through the corner of her eye, a small smile graced Alix's lips. She was glad that they were able to talk peacefully up here. Just act like normal people. "So, if you're still learning more advanced moves, does that mean that you're not a master at using magic?" Alix asked quietly, turning her head so that she was looking at the King as she spoke. "Would you ever want an apprentice? Can you even have one since you're going to be hailed King soon?"

All of this talk was starting to make Alix a little tired since it was all new. Her mind needed to suck everything in and because of that, an exhausted yawn escaped from her. "So the great King Kyran has a rebellious side to him." Alix said quietly, an amused smile playing across her lips as she looked at the older man from a world that she didn't completely understand just yet. "What are the taverns here like?" Alix asked, shifting so that she was standing up straight once more. "I've only seen movies of them back home, and they always seem dark and dirty."

Kyran let out a low chuckle as he shook his head at her. "I am a master of magic, but not of all magic. For many, that takes a lifetime and I have responsibilities outside of magic. And even those who dedicate their lives to it will not know every spell in the world. New spells and ancient ones are found often enough that people must continue learning." He glanced over at Alix softly before continuing. "But I know and am learning the spells that will be useful for me and for my country, as it is my duty. And I know enough, studied enough and am good enough to be called a master myself. But I also studied since I was very little."

The King let out a small hum at her next question as he thought it over. He then gave her a small shrug. "I could have an apprentice but... well I would probably have an assistant practice with them at times. I would not have the time to solely teach someone myself unless it was someone who was very dedicated and willing to practice alone. But doing so is rather dangerous at times so I wouldn't recommend it. If someone were to ask, I would probably recommend my old master to them instead. She would have the time and the willingness to teach if she thought the student worthy of her."

Reaching out, Kyran lightly took a strand of her hair and wrapped it around his fingers gently. He knew that she preferred her distance but there was sometimes when Kyran wished he could be closer to his future queen. "Besides, I would rather spend my free time with you, my princess," Kyran said softly. "I find that more important than doing anything else outside of my duties to this country."

Letting her hair drop from his hand, Kyran turned his head and looked out at the city once more. He wanted to be closer but he knew better than to try to push Alix further. "Yes, a rebellious side." Kyran mused. "I try to be careful about it when I do though. There would be great repercussions if something were to happen and my advisors like to remind me of that if they catch me." Kyran cleared his throat before moving on. "Some of them are dark and dirty. Others are expensive, high class and lined with gold ceilings. It just depends on where you go."

Slowly, Alix brought her lips between her teeth and lightly bit them for a moment before relaxing. She didn't want Kyran touching her hair, her body, any part of her. She was not that touchy-feely kind of person. Just from experience, though, when Kyran did so now. She couldn't sense any ill intent, so she let it slide.

"What kind of tavern's do you prefer?" Alix asked as she shifted so that she was facing the King. Her arms moving to cross behind her back as she faced Kyran. "The dark and scary ones? Or, the ones with fancy gold ceilings?" She asked, a hint of teasing in her tone as she asked her question. This was the most she's gotten out of the King, to learn about who he was. Well, it was the longest she's put up with him, but still. They were usually rooms apart for most of the day. Kyran doing king stuff, and Alix learning to be a Princess. It's quite hard to learn about each other when they barely got a few hours to spend together a day.

Opening her mouth, Alix was about to ask another question but stopped as there was a knock on the door that they came to the roof through. Her bright blue eyes glanced from the King towards the door. Wondering what could be interrupting their time together. "The caravans have all been unloaded, sir. An, unfortunately, it looks like a couple of the weapons that were offered to us, are missing." At the news, Alix couldn't help but purse her lips slightly. She wasn't fully aware of how to respond to things Royalty, so she glanced towards Kyran to allow him to take control of things.

As much as Kyran was disappointed by the interruption, the king understood why. His duties didn't just stop because he wanted some alone time with Alix. It was an unfortunate situation in terms of trying to build a relationship with her, but in many ways, Alix was going to come second. Though, once Alix was more comfortable with him, once she was willing to give him a bit more in terms of their relationship, it would be easier for Kyran to put his foot down about not being disturbed unless it was an emergency during certain blocks of time in order to give her more of his attention.

The king took a step forward. "I assume that the inventory has already been tripled check?" He asked the man, who was quick to confirm this. "Do we know how many and which one specifically?" Kyran asked, which caused the man to agree before flipping through the pages in his hand, looking for the exact inventory that was missing.

As he was busy with that, Kyran turned to Alix. "It looks like I will need to go take care of this but I think we were done with the tour anyway. Plus, I remember you mentioning something about a bath." Kyran smiled softly at her. "On the way down, we'll catch someone to draw one for you and then you should make your way to your room to relax. Though I will join you for dinner tonight." He waited until Alix seemed agreeable to his plan. Though before he could really get an answer from her, the man was already speaking, listing off the number and what was missing.

Kyran turned to him and gave him a nod. "Yes, lets head down then. And I want you to get the commander to join us. Maybe he can tell us if something has happened." The King glanced back at his princess for a moment before heading down the steps of the tower.

Of course, all good things must come to an end. Alix didn't bother replying to anything that Kyran conveyed to her. She would of been cut off by the man reporting the missing weapons anyways. Instead, she'll just resort to nodding her head to his questions if there were to be any that required an answer from her or to see if she was actually paying attention to what Kyran was telling her.

As the King started to lead the way down the tower, Alix took one last moment to look out over the darkening town. It was just so pretty. Then, she slowly turned around and started to follow after Kyran. The man who was giving off the report and things following suit and explaining everything that's already been done.

Thankfully, once they were out of the tower, and Alix was back in her room. She was able to soak away her annoyance and relax her sore feet. She hated heels, but that seemed to be the only type of shoes that Princesses were allowed to wear outside of their bedrooms. Which was quite annoying, but she was slowly getting used to it. It was just those damn stairs that were hurting her right now.

After soaking for a good half an hour, Alix climbed out of the bath. The servants were quick to help her get dressed into a different dress that would be suitable for dinner with the King and then ushered her out of the room. With her hair a little wet still, Alix ran her fingers through it to try and straighten it a bit so that she didn't look like a drowned rat. Then, she stood by the door as she was announced, though, she didn't hear a reply. Meaning that the King had yet to arrive to the dining room.

Walking inside of the dining room, Alix sat in the seat she was usually directed to and reached for her glass of wine. She'll have to wait for Kyran to arrive before she could do anything else.

Unfortunately for the king, it took the rest of the day to find the missing weapons. One of the men who were on the caravan believed that he would be able to get away with stealing some of the weapons and bringing them to market to sell before anyone found out. What that man did not realize was that they were magically tagged to be brought into the castle before they were usable. Well, of course, it took the merchants only a few minutes to realize that the weapons were completely useless before calling a guard over concerning the issue.

After a lot of conversation between the man, the guards and the vendors, they were able to bring the weapons and the man back up to the castle. And once they were there, it took some time to check them and put them back where they belonged. As well as to decide what to do about the thief. The commander, who was in charge of the caravan didn't seem too happy about the whole thing and settled on a heavy punishment for the lad. Kyran just nodded in agreement, after all, those men were under the commander's control. And while the commander would listen to Kyran, the king knew it was best to just let the old man do what he wanted to in these matters.

With that settled, the King was quick to go up to his room and shower. After the day's events, he needed one. Especiall before seeing Alix, whom he always wanted to look his best for. Though once he was dressed, he noticed that he was already a few minutes late for dinner. Unfortunate, but he hoped that the princess would understand. He quickly made his way down.

As Kyran was walking into the dining room, his attention turned to Alix. A large smile was spreading over his face as he moved into his seat. "Good evening. I apologize for my tardiness." He said as he pulled his chair slightly in and then started to relax. Once the king was settled, the food was brought out from the kitchen and down onto the table. They also left a bottle of wine in an ice bath before bowing and heading out of the dining room to give the two some privacy.

"How was the rest of your day?" The King asked as he looked over at her with curiosity.

The odd fizz of this places wine always intrigued Alix. Since she got here who knows how long ago, she's been seeing things that were similar to her home, yet different at the same time. People, animals, the food, everything was a new learning curve. This place was like the modern age on Earth, yet it also had aspects of an old-world story. Hense, why she was supposedly a Princess that was to be engaged to the King. It was all so weird here.

Hearing the familiar sound of footsteps approaching, Alix glanced up from her lap just as Kyran appeared in the room. Her bright blue eyes traveled after the man as he entered and went straight towards his seat. "You don't need to apologize." Was the simple response that Alix offered him. And he didn't, something important came up, weapons weren't something that anyone should take lightly. So, if any go missing, then it should be dealt with quickly so that everyone stayed safe.

Reaching out, Alix lightly wrapped her fingers around the thin end of her wine glass and brought it to her lips. Taking a small sip to taste the fizzy drink before she glanced up towards the older man. The King of a whole kingdom, a man who was interested in talking to her. A commoner from Earth that was matched up with him.

"Relaxing." That was the one word that described her time after the tour. Her legs and feet were killing her with all of those stairs, so she didn't want to do too much besides soaking in the amazing tub that was in her room. "A nice long bath and some reading." She added, knowing that he'd probably want some more information about what she had done.

Placing her drink back onto the table, Alix waited for the King to start helping himself to the food before she followed suit, taking small portions since she wasn't that hungry. "What happened with those weapons? Did you manage to find them?" She asked, curious as to rather Kyran would be able to share something like that with her.

"Oh? I hope that you had something interesting to read in that case." Kryan responded. In truth, the king did want to know more about Alix's day but it seemed best to leave well enough alone. She was beginning to tell him much more than she used to. So progress was definitely there. Though Kyran wanted to know as much about her as was possible. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to know if she was reading an Earth Royal's diary or one of the many books offered by the library.

There was no doubt in the King's mind that Alix missed her home. Even before he brought her here, he knew that would happen. But it was a tradition to marry someone from Earth. And he did hope sincerely that she would learn to love it here. That, one day, Alix would be truly happy and would see this as her home. It would take time and Kyran thought himself a patient enough man to wait it out.

"Yes, we were lucky enough to have found them and they are now where they belong. It seemed one of the men from the caravan thought that this was an opportunity to make some money. So he stole them and brought them down to the market before they arrived at the castle. Though, he did not know that we had trackers on them, making them useless until brought to their proper final destination. The vendors at the market found out they were useless, called the city guard and we were alerted from there." Kyran told her, not seeing any harm in telling Alix the truth about what had occurred.

"As for the thief, his commander is dealing with him now. I am unsure as to what his punishment is but if I know the commander, which I think I do rather well, it will probably be a harsh one." With that, Kyran took another drink from his wine glass before lifting his eyes up to look at his dear princess.

An undecisive hum escaped from Alix as she thought about rather what she read was interesting or not. "I can't say if it was interesting or not. It was a book about the Kingdom's history. So I feel like saying it was interesting wouldn't really bode well." Alix said quietly. There was a lot of death and war's described in the book, so she felt like calling it interesting wouldn't go well with those who lost people in the past. "What I can say though, is that I didn't know a Kingdom that seems quite peacful could be plunged in so much dark history."

Using her fork, Alix slowly moved her food around her place as she listened to the King explain what had happened. Her eyes glancing up every now and again as she listened. It was a relief to hear they found the missing items, although she grew a bit nervous as Kyran brought up that the guy would get a harsh punishment.

Frowning slightly, Alix lowered her fork as she looked towards Kyran. "What constitutes as a harsh punishment?" She asked, pure curiosity showing in her tone. Back on earth, most thief's either got probation, or they were in jail for no more then a three years or something like that. She wasn't sure. "He's not going to die or anything, is he?" Alix asked, her pure innocents showing through for her worry for a man who had done the royals wrong.

"Ah, yes interesting would not be the correct word for that." Kyran agreed with her. "This kingdom is a very peaceful nation now but it was not always that way. Though the other kingdoms also share our dark history in regards to the wars. Of course, each nation had its own part in each but we all have had a hand during the tragedy that occurred during those times. We are just lucky that is is all behind us and we can continue to live in peace and thrive together."

The King was quiet for a moment as he thought about her next question. He took that time to take a few bites of his food. Though once Kyran was sure he knew what to say, he spoke. "A harsh punishment differs between the nations. As I said, the commander wanted control of the situation, so I left it to him. While the thief's act went against my kingdom more than theirs, it is more of an embarrassment for the commander and his country. Now I know the commander is a rather strict man. That being said, I do not believe that the punishment will be death."

Kyran glanced to the side in thought before looking back to Alix before he continued again. "I suppose the commander might choose something painful, or demote him. Perhaps even prison. Though it seems more likely to me that he will want to make an example of him, so there is even a possibility that the commander will cut off his hand. Or even leave him to do severe training to make him miserable.'

The castle was abuzz with life as servants ran around like chickens with their heads cut off. Today was a big day, the whole Kingdom was excited. The coronation for Kyran was finally happening, and because of it Alix barely slept for the past two nights. She needed to make sure that things went correctly. To make sure that she didn't disappoint Kyran. She wanted to make sure that he was surprised and glad that his trust in her was well deserved.

"No, no, no! BIG, you need to make that flower bouquet BIG!" Alix explained as she went to one of the designers and started to explain once again how she wanted the flowers on the tables to appear. Full, vibrant, colorful. She wanted things to blow people's minds. An to say that people weren't expecting what she was doing would be an understatement. It was like these people haven't heard of DIYs before.

Moving towards the doors to head to the courtyard that was to allow the party to spill out into, Alix lifted her dresses hem so that it didn't trip her as she walked down the steps. There were strings all along with the garden, beautiful glass lanterns hung from rope to light the area. The same kind of tables that held food and drinks were stationed around as well. A small smile coming to the Princesses lips as she took everything in. Everything was going to plan. And if things were on time, then the King should be on his way back on his carriage appearance through town. The same kind of lanterns would be decorating the Kingdom's capital, and large flower arches would be places over the castle's gate, main town roads and around entrances to parks. The kingdom's colors being showed through the colors of the flowers.

Hearing the sound of marching, Alix and the rest of the people outside moved towards the path that led from the gates to the Palace. Kyran was returning, and it was only normal to greet the new King as he arrived back at the castle. Moving to stand on the steps with the head servants, and guards, Alix did her best to stand like a dignified Princess.

Loud cheers, screaming and applause went through the street as the carriage made its way towards the castle. The city was adorned with the decorations that were put up, and they truly were marvelous. Though, as the carriage headed through, Kyran sat up straight nodding and waving to his people. There was a light smile over his face, one that was welcoming and warm to his people, but not so big that it was undignified. Kyran needed to ensure that he was on his best behavior today.

By the time Kyran was being pulled through the gates of the castle, the carriage was filled with flowers and other items that his people had managed to throw in to show their love for the new king. He stepped out of the carriage carefully as he glanced over the men and woman that stood there. These were the guards, and servants that worked in his castle. He looked at them with approval before making his way up the steps towards the princess.

Once he was standing at the same step as her, Kyran stopped and looked over his future Queen. He would stop only for her, both out of respect but to look over the beauty of his future Queen. Still, with the same soft smile on his face as he provided to his people, Kyran gave her a small nod before turning forward and making his way into the castle. All of the nobles would be inside, waiting for him.

The moment Kyran took a step into the castle, the princess should start to follow him inside and then be followed in turn by the guards and the head servants. The man walked slowly, not wanting to appear as though he was rushing in. So he walked at a moderate pace, taking his time to glance over at what Alix had managed to do without swerving his head to do so. Kyran was quite impressed. He knew Alix would do wonderfully but the King did not expect this.

Would it be weird to say that she was starting to get butterflies in her stomach? Because she was. Alix didn't know why she was so giddy to know Kyran's opinion of her work. She just did. She had been up a couple of nights into the early morning, only going to bed when one of the guards would inform her of the shift changes coming in a couple of minutes. Alix made sure to think of everything. From how the food was to be arranged on the plates for the guests, to how the lights needed to hang from the trees, to even how the napkins were supposed to be folded and their color. Alix wanted to blow Kyran's mind with the dedication to detail she did for him. She just hoped he liked it.

Sucking in a deep breath as the King stepped out of the carriage, Alix stood still with the others. Her hands clasped loosely by her side as the King acknowledged each and every one of them. When Kyran stopped in front of her, Alix glanced up at him briefly and offered a small smile. Although, it quickly fell as it seemed like Kyran just rushed past her after acknowledging her.

It hurt, it hurt that he didn't return her smile. It hurt that Kyran didn't even stop to tell her that she did a good job. Or a bad job, or whatever job. Alix held in her sigh as she followed after the King like she was supposed to. Keeping her head held high like she was taught by the advisors to do. Her bright blue eyes staring at the back of Kyran's head as he walked, not even looking at all of the things she did to impress him.

Once the King made his way to the throne, after having made his presence known to the people in attendance, Alix made herself scarce. She didn't want anything to do with Kyran now. The corner on the right side of the hall was just fine for Alix. She could lean against the wall and stare out at all of the people outside enjoying the glass lanterns that were almost completely hidden, making it seem like the flames were dancing in mid-air. Or, she could lift her head and watch the people inside dancing and laughing.

She chose to look out the window. Alix held her arms crossed, a slight frown appearing on her lips as she let her foul mood take over her thoughts. This is what she gets for trying to impress someone who's been trying to get her to open up to them. She should have listened to her inner thoughts and just ignored everything. Let the advisors of this world take over. She didn't belong here, and her idea of a beautiful party wasn't up to par with the stupid King's.

The crowning ceremony itself was rather short, as was the tradition. Kyran made his vows and the crown of his country was placed upon his head. Though while it was short, it was a very symbolic and beautiful moment. But once the ceremony was over, the party began. Kyran and the others were brought to the ballroom, for food, entertainment, music and dancing. As the king looked it over, he was very impressed with what Alix had managed to do.

The man then took his seat and looked out at the entertainers. As they finished their performances, he clapped lightly, as what was required of him. He needed to prove he was able to control any emotion he had today, even joy. So while he would show his gratitude through clapping and polite conversation, nothing else would pass through his mostly neutral face. Doing anything else, even a smile too wide would break tradition and be inappropriate.

Though as time went by, he noticed that Alix was nowhere to be seen. At first, he assumed that the young woman was handling some things behind the scenes. But the longer it was, the more he worried. He also wanted the princess to enjoy the party that she had set up. It was impressive and all of the nobles couldn't say anything less than amazing things about it. It was unlike any of them had seen before.

King Kyran took his leave from the party, knowing he would need to head back in a couple of minutes before his absence was judged. Luckily for him, he was able to find Alix quickly. "Princess Alix, you should enjoy the party you have created." He said, looking down at her. "Or is there something wrong?"

Hearing Kyran's voice as he approached her caused Alix to close her eyes and let out a small groan. She did not want to talk to him right now. She was too annoyed with him for not appreciating what she had done for his stupid crowning ceremony. The whole thing took weeks to plan and even more weeks to actually build because she was the only one who knew how to twist the glowers here and the people needed to find a supplyer for the glass lanterns she wanted to do. Alix had been up for so many nights, and Kyran had the freaking adacity to not be impressed.

"No your majesty, noththing could possibly be wrong." Alix said as she opened her eyes and rolled them as she spole sarcastically to the royal. "Everything is sunshines and rainbows." Alix snorted and crossed her eyes as she looked back out the window. Her eyes narrowed into slits as she glared at the Kings reflection looking back at her.

After a couple of moments of glaring at him through the window, Alix sighed once more and turned towards the King. Not caring that his guards were behind them and watching everything that was going on between the royal couple. "If there's something wrong with the stupid ceremony then go complain to someone else, because I don't care." She snapped at him, her lips in a deep frown and her eyes narrowed to slits. "Go be a stuck up ass somewhere else, and leave me alone!"

Turning her back to the King, Alix made to leave the area. Her anger had gotten the better of her and she was sure that if she was to stay. Well, she wasn't sure if she could hold back from smacking the king.

(If Kyran moves to grab Alix's arm/elbow, she'll turn and smack him across the face. So feel free to add that to your post if you want.)
