For a moment, a flash of confusion moved over Kyran's face as she started to snap at him. Though he quickly reverted back to his neutral face, not wanting anyone to see him breaking the tradition. "I do not understand." The King told her. "I never said that there was-" While reaching out to Alix, gently taking her arm into his hand, Alix suddenly spun around and smacked him right across the face.

While the smack wasn't mind-shattering, it did hurt. And it caused the king to step back out of surprise by the action. The side of his face started to grow red and soon the neutral look broke into one of pure anger. His eyes narrowed, his scowled down at her as he was quick to grab Alix but the arm and roughly pull her further down the hall, getting away from the party as much as he could.

"I do not know what your fucking problem is, but that does not give you any right to hit me. And, quite frankly, I don't have the time or the patience to deal with your shitty attitude right now." He reached down and took her face into his hand. While his grip was not painful, and still gentle with the princess, it was firm. Kyran turned her head to force Alix to look at him. "We will discuss your punishment later. You are just lucky enough that I would not send you to the dungeon for attacking a king."

With a snap of his fingers, Kyran used his magic to force Alix's lips together so she could not scream or talk. He didn't want her causing a scene, and the spell would be released once she was in her room. No one from the party would be able to hear her there. He took a small breath, forcing his face back into a calm one before calling the guards over. "Bring princess Alix to her room. Do not let her leave, do not let anyone in. She is under strict lockdown."

The guards nodded before taking the princess and heading towards her chambers.

For a very brief moment, a look of shock appeared on Alix's face as she felt her hand gliding against Kyran's cheek. She's never slapped someone before, but she had gotten in their face and jabbed them in the chest with a finger. So, the feeling of hurting someone was new. Although, she wasn't going to let that show as she quickly moved her face back to a scowl. Not wanting Kyran to win their little argument.

"Let me go." Alix seethed as she tried to pull her arm out of Kyran's strong grip. She grunted as she pulled and yanked, trying to get out of the strong man's grip, with no avail. Then, as they stopped in a hallway, Alix glared up at Kyran. Her eyes narrowed as she glared at him. Her breathing ragged as she fought the urge to yell at him, scream and let all of her annoyance out at the King who she worked her ass off for. Who she tried to impress, but just swept everything under the rug and acted like he didn't care about her. About what she had thought would impress him. The least the fool could of told her was that she did well. That's all she had wanted, his damn approval.

A scuff escaped from Alix as she heard Kyran say that he didn't know what she was so mad about. The ignorant fool. Alix wanted to bite his head off for being a stupid man, but couldn't as he gripped her chin. Her bright blue eyes glaring up at him as he spoke, Not a damn word mattered to her and quite frankly, she'd much rather go to the damn dungeon then the room she had been staying it. She'll feel more sane hearing other's letting out their screams of rage at the moment.

Then, as Kyran sealed her lips and forced the guards to take her to her room, Alix did the last rebellious thing she could think of. Alix raised her right hand and gave him her middle finger, knowing that he wouldn't know what the gesture meant, then followed the guards and they led her towards her chambers.

As soon as Alix was in her chambers, she let out a loud scream of frustration. Turning around, she banged on the door a couple of times before she turned and looked around the room. Even though she was pissed beyond belief, she couldn't bring herself to destroy anything in it, it was too pretty. So, instead, she changed into her night down and walked to her bed. Climbing up, Alix laid on her side and brought one of the many pillows up and hugged it tightly as she finally let the tears fall.

It was hours until the party at the castle was coming to an end and Kyran was finally able to slip away. While he was able to enjoy everything, Alix was stuck in the back of his mind for the rest of the night. He did not fully understand what had made the young woman so upset but he knew, in the least, it had something to do with the ceremony and her portion in creating it.

Kyran took a slice of the cake before heading up towards the bedrooms and making his way towards Alix's chambers. Now that the party was over, he was able to have his true feelings on his face and that manifested as a deep frown. He didn't want to go to bed not knowing what had happened. And, admittedly, he was still upset that Alix had slapped him. Even in his anger, he never would hurt her...why did she think differently towards him.

The king knocked on the door softly before stepping inside the darkroom. Normally he wouldn't just walk into her room without permission, but this seemed like a good reason to do so. Even so, he stayed closer to the door instead of walking up to the princess. "Alix." He spoke softly. "I brought some cake." He said as he set it down on the table in her room before continuing.

"I would also like to discuss what had happened. I do not understand why you are upset but I would like for you to tell me, without yelling at me if you can handle it. Did something go wrong with the planning? Or was one of the nobles mean to you? Or were you just stressed after having to plan everything?" Kyran took another small step in before letting out a small sigh. "Even as I ask you that, somehow I think it is myself who upset you but I do not understand what I had done wrong."

The sound of a knock on her door stirred Alix from her restless slumber. Thinking it was just her imagination, she closed her eyes again as she rolled over and tried to fall asleep once more. Although, at the sound of her name, Alix was jolted awake and her eyes flew open. The King was in her room. Slight fear started to well up inside of Alix as she waited for his angry words to hit her. For him to once again yell at her and that they could start their argument all over again.

It never started over though. No, instead his usual calm voice met her ears. An Alix found herself relaxing as she listened to the King. Her eyes closing as she forced herself to not sigh at how oblivious he was. The man was a king, he was supposed to know what the people wanted, but. It seemed that he didn't understand what a woman wanted. What someone from other worlds wanted.

"You're an idiot Kyran," Alix mumbled quietly, but she knew that he could hear her soft voice. Slowly, she sat up and turned on the light that was next to her bed. Her bright blue eyes were red and a little puffy from crying herself to sleep. She couldn't help the sniffle as her runny nose made it hard for her to breath. "I planned that whole thing for you, and you didn't like anything." She said, raising her voice slightly at the end of her sentence.

A sniffle escaped from Alix as she felt herself starting to cry once more. "I worked so hard on that stupid party and you didn't like it. You told me it was supposed to be a surprise, but you didn't tell me anything that you'd have liked to see at it. If you weren't going to be impressed by my efforts, then you shouldn't let me do the planning." Alix was word vomiting now, her emotions getting the better of her. She raised her arms and tried to wipe away the tears that were falling down her cheeks, but they seemed to be falling too fast because Alix couldn't seem to keep up with wiping them away.

Once Alix turned the light on in her room, the king felt more comfortable coming closer to the woman. Now she knew that he was there and seemed to be more willing to talk to him than before. But still, Kryan made sure to keep some distance between the two of them. She was still upset and he didn't want to be seen as disrespectful when she was only in her nightgown.

But as Alix spoke, confusion moved over the King's face. He couldn't understand why the princess was feeling the way she was. He didn't make any indication that he did not enjoy the party. Nor did he say to her or anyone else that something was wrong. His eyebrows furrowed together as his head tilted, trying to understand where the misunderstanding could have come from but it was not clear to him. "I do not understand why you would think any of that," Kyran told her. "I loved the party and I thought it was purely fantastic and all of the nobles seemed impressed as well. There is no reason for you -"

The King suddenly stopped in the middle of his sentence as it dawned on him what must have happened. He let out a sigh as he pressed a hand to his head. Disappointment in himself started to seep through and he took a step closer before beginning to speak again, this time lighter and clearly upset with himself. "I am a fool." He told her softly. "I can understand why you must have thought that something was wrong, as it seems that I nor the advisors have told you about all of the traditions of the coronation. You thought I was upset because I did not seem pleased?"

Kyran let out a sigh before continuing. "I did not even think about bringing it up as it is a tradition for us. But the coronation is not only a crowning ceremony for me to become the next king but it is also a test for me. I am meant to stay neutral throughout the day. Doing so shows that I can be a King that can control his emotions, who will not allow both the good or the bad times to affect me in ways that would show bad leadership. You thought I was upset but I was not. I was falling through in my tradition of remaining neutral throughout the day. Doing otherwise is a disaster and would worry the nobles and my people."

As Kyran spoke, Alix stayed as silent as she could with the mixtures of sniffling and hiccups that were escaping from her. She continued to wipe at her eyes as her tears slowly stopped as she took in his words. He wasn't upset at her or the party. He and everyone liked it, he just forgot to tell her about some sort of stupid tradition that the people here go through. It was just another indication that she didn't belong. That this isn't her world.

Slowly, once Alix was sure that her tears were under control. A couple of hiccups still escaping from her as she tried to get herself under control. Alix raised her pink puffy eyes and looked towards the King who was standing near her bed. A deep fown appearing on her lips as she looked at how distraight he seemed to be at realizing the errors of his ways. "I wanna go home." She told him quietly, a sniffle following her quiet words as her bottom lip trembled with the possibility of another crying session hinting at developing. "I don't belong here Kyran. I don't know the customs, I don't know the etticut. It's all to much, I just want to go back to my old life. I want to be with my friends, my family. I want to go to school and watch movies. I just don't fit in here." Given Alix only had one friend back home and her parents barely remembered she was alive when they weren't high off their asses, but still. It was familiar things. An that's what she wanted right now. The comfort of not having to tred on unknown waters and making an idiot of herself in front of who knows how many people.

Lowering her gaze from the King, Alix let out a small sigh. She was exhausted, both mentally and physically. She didn't know what else to say, to think. She wasn't prepared for any of this. She didn't have control over anything. One moment she was walking to school, the next she was waking up in her room here and people were calling out saying the Princess was awake. It was all so freaking weird. On multiple occassions Alix imagined that she'd just wake up in her bed at home, and realize that this was all a dream. That her life would go back to normal, but it hasn't yet. She's still here, trapped in whatever weird dream this was.

Squeezing her eyes shut, Alix took a couple of deep breaths to calm her breathing before she raised her head and gazed at Kyran. "I'm so alone here. I feel like I don't have one to talk to." Alix said quietly, unleashing thoughts that had plauged her mind for days, weeks, however long she's been here. "I feel like I have no one to lean on here. I'm just an outcast, like I am back in my world." Her voice grew quiet as she looked back down at her folded legs. Gazing at the edges of her short nightgown.

Kyran hesitated for a moment before moving over to Alix and gently wrapping his arms around her. He pulled the princess in tight to his chest, his head lightly resting on top of hers as he did so. It took the king a few moments before he even started to speak. "I am deeply sorry that you feel that way, truly Alix. But... there is no way for you to go home. I can't send you back even if I wanted you to leave, which I don't. I know that is selfish of me. I know bringing you here was selfish of me. But you are here now, you are part of my court, and I care about you, honestly."

The king took in a deep breath before pulling away slightly. His fingers lightly running through Alix's hair as he looked down at her with concerned eyes. He had always been told that it would be difficult when he brought his new queen into their world. It was something that he knew deep in his soul, but Kyran had never been aware of just how hard it would be. Watching Alix struggle truly twisted his heart.

"I know everything is so hard right now. It will take time, but I promise you that you will learn everything. That things will come to you easily soon enough. I used to have a difficult time with it all and I was born here, always the heir. I once begged my parents to not become King but now, now I am excited for my reign." He reached down and lightly brushed the tears from her face. "And you aren't alone, you have me. I will always be here for you, no matter what you need. If you want someone to talk to, I will be here for you. If you need someone to learn on, I will be here for you. And, with time, you will find others who will do the same."

Kyran pulled her back into a hug, keeping Alix close to her as he let out a small sigh. The man felt like all of this was his fault, and it was. But there was little he could do to fix it except for continuing to try and help Alix. "I promise you, it just takes time. I know that probably isn't what you want to hear right now, but soon enough, you will feel at home here. I mean, think about tonight. The party was spectacular, truly. Everyone was amazed at it. Only one thing went wrong, and it was my fault."

It was like instincts, as soon as Kyran was near her bed and pulling her into a tight hug against him. Alix's arms moved to wrap around his waist and hold him back just as tightly. She moved to rest on her bare knees as she nuzzled her face against his broad chest. Letting his words of comfort mingle in her mind. Sending waves of unease, anxiety, and sadness to all mingle and mix. Causing Alix's head to hurt with everything that was going on in her mind.

To be honest, most of the things that left the king's lips weren't things that Alix didn't want to hear. She wanted to go home, but she also wanted to be accepted here. to know what was going on when things were happening, and not left in the dark. She wanted to know everything about this place. The customs, the traditions, the way the people are supposed to act in all of the different classes. How she was supposed to be addressed here, to address others. Everything here as so confusing.

In this whole new world she lived in, Alix felt lost. It wasn't a normal world, it was different one that she was used to entirely. "It's just so hard, Kyran," Alix said quietly, refusing to pull away from the King. She buried her face into his chest once more as she tightened her arms around him. "I'm just an outsider, a girl from another dimension." Alix squeezed her eyes shut as she spoke. "I'm more than happy to hear that people enjoyed tonight, but the facts remain the same."

Slowly, Alix pulled away and sighed as she sat back on her legs. Her hands raised and wiped away the last of the tears that were falling. "My head hurts," Alix mumbled quietly as she frowned and looked up at the King that was standing at the side of her bed. He screamed power to Alix and she couldn't stop herself from feeling so damn jealous of him. He might have told her that he used to not was to be king, but she doubted it. His mere presence screamed that he was born for this role. He's always known what he was going to be, and she found it not fair.

"Can, can I ask a favor?" Alix asked quietly. She was exhausted and didn't want to talk about things anymore. Her head hurt and she just wanted to end the night. "Can you spend the night with me? I don't want to be alone." Alix knew that her question was crossing a line in the royal rule book that she didn't read, but frankly. She didn't give a care. She was tired, lonely, and feeling Kyran's arms around her felt comforting and quite frankly. She was having trouble falling asleep before he had woken her up anyways.

"I promise that it will get easier. You just need to be a little patient as it will take some time." Kyran assured her as he lightly ran his fingers through her hair. He didn't know what else he could say besides that. What else was there really to say? None of this was going to get better until Alix was here longer, until her lessons were getting close to being done, until she was able to interact with others in the court, to make friends that she could rely on that wasn't just him. He believed that she was capable of all of that but the unfortunate thing was that it wasn't something anyone could do overnight. He wished he could make this easier for her, but he didn't know how. And even if he did, Kyran wasn't sure that she would be better off for it.

The princess pulled away from him and Kyran took a step back, giving Alix her space again. A little frown came over his face as she mentioned that her head was hurting. He supposed that he could grab her a potion to make it better, but it wouldn't work any faster than what Alix really needed to do. Sleep. She needed to sleep, get some rest. Surely tomorrow would be a better day for Alix. "You should sleep."

When Alix asked if he could stay the night, Kyran went quiet. He glanced back at the door to the room, knowing that he shouldn't stay the night with her. Even if they were to do nothing, it still was not proper of either of them... Though he could see that Alix needed someone and that someone had to be him. Would it really be right of Kyran to leave Alix in her condition? No. It wouldn't be. And he was determined to be there for his fiancee no matter what that meant. Besides, even if this somehow got around, what would anyone do? Nothing. He was the king and she was his fiancee.

Kyran turned his head back and looked over Alix gently before giving her a small nod. "Yes, I will spend the night with you." He told her as he stepped forward, his knees now touching the edge of the bed. Reaching out, he gently ran his fingers through her hair, hoping that in some way, he would be able to help calm her down enough so that Alix could sleep soundly. "I will be here for anything that you need." The King whispered to her.

It seemed like Kyran took her words to heart and found her a new teacher. Although, what she didn't expect was for it to be that sorta creepy guy they found in the training area, Lasfanda. The man himself didn't give off the creeps when he spoke, but. It was moreso his eyes and some of the body language that Alix was getting off of the man. How many people here have golden eyes like him, Alix would like to know.

Even now, as Lasfanda spoke of the proper entice for the King's court, Alix could see the slight aggression his body held. As if he was doing his best to not growl and punch something. As if just talking about the culture of Kyran's kingdom annoyed him or something. Like he was only doing this because his ruler told him so. As if he had no choice in the matter.

Sitting up straighter, Alix reached for the cup of tea that Lasfanda had prepared for her. He had told her it was some sort of tea that was supposed to help one relax as some other stuff, and frankly, she just wasn't listening. Raising the cup to her lips, Alix took a couple of sips of the deep red liquid with the taste that reminded her of raspberry iced tea from restaurants back on earth. It was so sweet and had a sense of comfort.

Then, without realizing it, Alix finished the whole cup of tea. Lowering the cup back to the saucer that it was on, Alix felt her head slowly grow light. "Oh." She breathed out quietly, the cup slipping from her fingers and falling the rest of the way to the table. "I-I think I'm having an allergic reaction," Alix mumbled the only reason that she could think of as to why she was suddenly feeling light-headed. Her right hand moving to feel her heating forehead as she leaned forward, her elbow catching on the table as she stared unsteadily at the clothed table where her books were laid out for her to look at.

Once Alix was grabbing onto the table, Lasfanda made his way over to her side of it. His stride was meaningful but it did not seem like it was in a rush to get to her side. Though, once he was, Lasfanda laid a hand against the small of her back and the other took her elbow into his hand. "Please, come lay down princess. It is best that you do not faint before a healer is able to come in."

Without waiting for her response, the lord brought Alix over to the couch in the room. He had asked for a very specific set up when Kyran requested that he instruct Alix. Though little did the King know that none of it was for teaching. Lasfanda took Alix and laid her down onto the couch, having her lay her head against the pillow. "Stay still," The man told her, his voice coming out strict. It would be troublesome if the princess ended up falling off of it.

Lasfanda then started to cast a spell over her body, acting as if he was putting in effort in healing Alix. Though, the truth was he was just mumbling spells that would cause little lights to burst from his fingers. Any expert would know what it was, that it was not a real spell but the princess certainly was not an expert. In reality, she knew very little about magic and that was clear to him, as it was sure to be clear to the others around her as well.

Even with her lack of knowledge, Lasfanda did not need to keep up the ruse long. Soon the princess was knocked unconcious and Lasfanda was able to get to his real work. He had found an opportunity to take over Alix and put her under his control. And, lucky for him, no one would consider it odd if she was gone for hours, doing her lessons. So, Lasfanda went to quick work, working on a very complicated enchantment over her unconscious body.

There was nothing but darkness for as far as the eye could see. Not a sound was heard, nor a smell was smelled. It was just a dark abyss like someone had turned off the lights in the room, all of them except one at least. The one that was exactly above Alix's head that is.

Sitting in the center of the darkness, Alix slowly raised her downcasted head. She looked around, but couldn't spot anything. "What? Where am I?" She wondered to herself and then slowly raised her hands to press tot the floor as she moved to try and stand. The sound of shackles met the young girl's ears then and she couldn't help but glance down. A surprised gasp escaping from her as she saw the iron wrapped around her wrists, links connecting them spreading to the right of her and the left.

Glancing behind herself as her legs, Alix realized that her ankles had the shackles on them as well. As the realization of having shackles on all of her limbs sank in, Alix heard the terrifying sound of wheels cranking. Followed by the feeling of her limbs slowly being pulled apart. "No," Alix said quietly as she slowly shook her head. Her eyes widening more and more as the wheel in the invisible distance kept turning, pulling her apart slowly. Keeping her trapped in place. "No, no, please. Stop!" She called out, her voice going up a few octaves as she started to feel her limbs shifting towards the directions that they were being pulled.

"Y-you don't have to do this!" Alix cried out as she fell onto her back and screamed as she tried to pull her limbs free from the shackles. "Kyran! Kyran, help! Help me, please!" Alix cried out, tears forming in her eyes as she felt herself being pulled apart by the chains.

Slowly, bright blue eyes opened, emanating a blankness as they stared up at the ceiling. Then, slowly, Alix moved into a sitting position. Her bright blue eyes blinking in slow motion, as if she was waking up from a heavy slumber. Her shoulders were slumped in a relaxed state, not a thought ran through her mind as she slowly blinked a little bit more normal and looked up towards Lasfanda. Nat a lick of fear in Alix's expression as she looked up at the man. Waiting for him to speak to her first, ready to hang onto anything that he tells her.

Hours had gone by before the ritual was completed. Lasfanda was exhausted at this point and all of his magic was depleted from him. But, at least, the ritual was done and he could rest. He wiped the sweat from his brow before sitting down in one of the chairs in the room, letting out a tired sigh. All he wanted to do was sleep and eat, but there was something that he still needed to take care of. Once Alix was dealt with, then he could take care of himself.

The man watched as the princess slowly sat up in her chair. He let out a low hum, watching her for a few moments before speaking quietly. Lasfanda had little strength but this was the utmost importance. His new slave needed her instructions, and soon he would be able to move forward with his plan. But, for now, a test would be given. "You will listen and do as I command. While you are not following my orders, you act as though everything is normal. You will not allow anyone to know that you are now under my control trough any means. You are responsible for keeping this secret hidden."

Lasfanda took in a deep breath of air, his shoulders sagging as he did so. "When you are able to, without being caught, you must go into town and steal the dagger of Yaslone, which is in the possession of the merchant Bosian. I want this done before the end of the week. You may scout out the place if you must, but it is the utmost importance that you are never caught."

"If you understand, nod twice. Then you may leave to go about your day."

Most of what escaped from Lasfanda's mouth made little to no sense to Alix, yet, she still nodded her head twice to the man. Then, she slowly stood up and smoothed out her dress. Her hands moving to run her fingers through her hair to get ant tangles out and then headed towards the door without looking towards the man who was not her master.

Once outside of the room, Alix wrinkled her nose. Her mouth felt like sandpaper. She'll need to remember to request to not have that tea she had earlier again. Her mouth was so dry, like all of the moisture was taken out of her. "Excuse me." Alix said quietly as she saw a servant passing down the hall to her right. "Can you have a glass of Orious sent to the garden in the east wing for me?" The servant quickly nodded their head before heading off to do as she asked of them. Then Alix made her way towards the garden.

The garden to the east of the Palace wasn't as magnificent as the other three gardens that surrounded the Palace, but that didn't bother Alix. She liked how quiet it was and that it was smaller as well. Moving towards the small pond in the middle of the garden, Alix sat at the edge and turned slightly so that she could watch the water lily's as they floated in the evening light. A servant came by a couple of moments later with a glass of the drink that Alix asked for before leaving.

Sweetness washed over Alix's taste buds as she took a sip of the blue drink. It was this worlds version of lemonade, and Alix was living for it. The sweetness, the sudden tartness at the end, a show of fressness from the fruit's juice. It was truely relaxing.

In a couple of moments, Alix was due to join Kyren in the dining room for dinner, but. To be honest, she really wasn't hungry and was more interested in watching the water flowers floating around in the pond as the sky got darker and darker.

It was some time in the dining room before Kyran really started to get nervous. He was used to Alix being late from time to time but she had never been this late before. Even when she did her best to avoid him, Kyran would know beforehand by a servant or so that she was planning on skipping the meal entirely. He shifted in his seat uncomfortably before standing up from his chair and heading out of the dining room. There was no way that he could eat while he was full of nerves about where Alix was.

Once out of the room, Kyran cast some magic in his hands to figure out where the princess had gone. The spell easily led him to Alix, who was sitting outside by the pond in the third garden. For a moment, the King looked up at the sky to see that it was growing darker and darker by the moment. A deep frown came over his face as he dropped his head and looked to his fiancee. It seemed strange that she was just sitting outside in this horrid weather. All he could think was that something had gone wrong again.

With that thought in his mind, Kyran headed over to her slowly, not wanting to scare the princess that seemed deep in thought. Though, once he was by her side, Kyran slowly moved down onto his knees beside her. His eyes were soft as he looked her over before leaning forward to get a good look at the princess's face. "Hello, Alix." He whispered to her, waiting to catch her attention. Kyran waited for a moment before continuing on. "You missed dinner...Is everything okay?" He hoped that something didn't happen today but that was the only thing that came to mind. Something must be wrong.

At hearing Kyran's greeting, Alix blinked from her thoughts and turned her head towards the King. She couldn't help but to slightly jump at seeing how close Kyran was to her. "Oh, Kyran." She said quietly, not quite sure what to say as a greeting. Then, her eyes slowly widened as she realized how dark it was and that there were shadows casting over them and everything in the garden.

"Crap, I'm sorry! After class, I came out here to relax and lost track of time." Alix said, a look of worry appearing on her features. "I made you wait, didn't?" She asked quietly, her lips turning into a small frown as she looked at the king. "Sorry." She said once more, her voice quiet as she looked back towards the water once more, watching as a light breeze moved one of the flowers across the stream.

Slowly, darting her tongue out to run across her lips, Alix turned her head back towards the King. "Lasfanda is weird, and he talks in a boring monotone voice." She told him, getting what was on her chest out into the open. "I fell asleep during the lesson." She confessed to the King. "I couldn't help it, sorry."

With concern in his eyes, Kyran silently looked over Alix. He was concerned but it seemed that she was physically okay. As for mentally, Alix appeared as though she was a bit lost in her own mind...perhaps a bit tired as well. Neither things were something to be concerned about though, it just meant that he should probably press her to go to bed early today. The King would keep an eye on her tomorrow to ensure that his assumption about her condition was correct, but it appeared that he actually had very little to worry about.

"It is okay, my dear," Kyran assured her before he reached up and lightly ran a hand through her hair. It was something that he thought she liked, and the truth was, he liked the little bit of contact. Kyran wanted to be closer to her but he also didn't want to cross that line before she was ready. "I was just concerned so I came looking for you. Though it appears that you are fine, but maybe a bit tired?"

The King couldn't help but smile lightly when she spoke about her lesson. Her words only assured him that what the princess needed was some rest. "I think it will be fine, though let's try not to make a habit of sleeping in class." He offered her his arm, waiting for Alix to take it before he stood up and lead her out of the gardens. "It sounds like to me, that you should head to your room and go to sleep early today. I can have them bring up dinner for you if you would like."

The slight tension that was in Alix's shoulders relaxed ever so slightly as Kyran said it was alright. A small smile played along her lips as he ran his fingers though her hair. Bright blue eyes closed as Alix drank in the small movement of affection that the King was offering to her. That they were able to act like normal people for a couple of moments.

"I can't promise you anything," Alix said quietly, a small teasing smile playing across her lips as she accepted Kyran's arm and stood with him. Her other hand coming around resting on his arm as well and she leaned into the King a little bit since it was cooling off outside. Meaning that the weather was changing slightly here.

"I think I'll just head to bed, Mister Lasfanda's lectures really drained me mentally." She said quietly and let out a small giggle. "He gets very passionate about things." Alix said quietly as she looked up at Kyran as she spoke before looking forward. "Who was your teacher when you were younger? Did you go to school like a normal kid, or were you taking lessons here in the Castle?"

"Maybe you can't promise, but it is better if you try to stay awake." King Kyran told her with a light smile. He knew that Alix was not going to try to make a habit of it. She had been doing quite well with her studies and Kyran did not think she was going to throw it away. Though, he just had to hope that she was feeling under the weather today. He didn't want Alix to start losing interest or find it too difficult to listen to her tutors. But, he supposed that he was being too concerned after only a day.

The King gave her a small nod. "That is probably for the best then. I will walk you up to your room then." With that, he started to head towards Alix's bedroom now that they were inside. Even though she didn't seem overly interested in dinner, he was still going to have someone bring up a small snack, something that would last throughout the evening, night and morning in case she did grow with hunger. But, the longer she slept, the better. "And I understand, we try to get people in the castle that are passionate about what they do."

"Me? Well, I had my lessons here in the castle, of course. Though there were times where I would share my tutor with another student or two. I think my parents thought it was a nice way to allow me to socialize more with others my age, but I think it just caused me to cause more trouble in my classes." Kyran gave her a warm smile and a small shrug. "Though we would sometimes leave the castle for my lessons."

It's always quite nice when Kyran made time to just spend with her. Often times Alix felt like it was just her living in the palace. The servants and advisors didn't give her any attention unless it was a greeting or if she spoke to them first. So, Alix was going to cherish this moment. Especially since her little breakdown in front of the newly crowned King. Alix used to think he was a prick for bringing her against her will and forcing her into this marriage with him, but, now she was seeing that he wasn't a total prick. Sure, she was still mad about pretty much kidnapping her to bring her here, but. She was starting to see his kinder side. He was a very loyal man and Alix liked that. He cared about the people that he ruled over.

As they approached her bedroom, Alix slowed her walking and turned towards the King. A small smile playing along her lips. The sight of light bags under her eyes showing her tiredness. "Thank you for walking me to my room." She said quietly. Then, going against her usual self, Alix leaned up on her toes and gave him a small kiss to the cheek before turning and rushing into her room. Never had Alix dared to do something like that. She had only just recently started showing him affection. So, that cheek kiss was a surprise to even her.

Once Alix's door was closed securely, her eyes changed to the green color of the spell's aura. She headed towards the bathroom to draw a bath that would cause the servants and King to believe that she was bathing if they dared to come by. She made sure to make the water as hot as possible so that the steam would last for a while.

Then, once the tub was filled, Alix made her way towards the rather large and packed closet and started to search through the vast amount of clothing she was given. Most of the things in the closet were never worn before because they either didn't fit Alix's style, or she simply didn't know that she had it. After a couple of moments, Alix pulled out a cute cloak and put it on over her dress.

Once she was ready to leave, Alix made her way towards the large glass door at the side of her room. She pushed the door open and stepped out onto the terrace and looked out over the distance. Her lightly glowing green eyes looked around the darkening area. She mapped out her route to the town that she's never visited before and then moved towards her right where vines were sprawling up the side of the wall up to her third-floor bedroom. Alix paid no mind to the height as she climbed onto the railing and then climbed onto the vines. She climbed down with ease under the spell's effect and made sure to pause when she heard movement in a room or nearby.

Finally, as her feet touched the ground, Alix let go of the vines and took a glance around herself. No one was around, it was the middle of the guards shift changing, so she had a couple of moments to get out before anyone comes. Then, she pulled up her hood and started to make her way towards town to fetch the knife for Sir Lasfanda.
