Michelle walked up behind Peter and held him back as Ned led Jayme away a bit, ‘you remember that guy Michelle was talking about that has a crush on you?’

Ana stepped up to Taylor, “so why don’t you? I really didn’t want to go out with that guy.. I’m just trying to get over this massive crush I have on you...”

Jayme looked at Ned weird,”..yeah? What about it? Is it you?” Jayme thought about it, “because I mean you’re great, but I have a crush on someone already..”

Ana took a step back and nodded, “okay. Well, don’t worry about it. This was too good to be true. I’m going to drop your class so you won’t have to see me anymore... have a good day professor.” She quickly gathered her things and ran off.

Jayme looked between Peter, Ned and Michelle and then back at Peter walking up to him. “Is this true Peter?” He asked shyly trying to not blush at the thought of kissing him.

Ana quickly turned around and looked at him, “why? I’d be doing us both a favor, besides I can always retake this course with a different professor...”

Peter’s blush darkened when Jayme cupped his face and told him what he did, ‘y-you do?’

Ana sighed, “goodbye,” she said softly and walked away, she was hurt. This flirting was one sided anyway. Heading home Ana decided to sit at home and mope.

Jayme smiled and nodded, “hekl yeah you and your dorky ways is cute.” He nodded “would you considering going on a date with me this weekend.”

He cussed lowly under his breath as he walked back to his motorcycle, hoped on then left campus. It was for the best.

‘Y-yeah...’ he kept staring at his shoes as he spoke. The hottest guy in school was asking him on a date, the guy he has liked for months is asking him out.

The next couple weeks had been rough for Ana she couldn’t stop thinking about her professor. She couldn’t drop the damn class, so she’d had to stick to going. She sat in the back writing an essay.

Jayme smiled and patted Peter on the cheek, I’ll send you a Facebook request later I gotta run to practice.”

Ana finished up and walked up to his desk, “here’s that essay, I hope I did good,” she spoke softly before returning to her desk.

Peter’s blush darkened even further as the older jogged back to the football field.

Ana nodded and sat in her seat, and sighed. This was never going to happen. She was sad about it, she thought maybe he’d change his mind but no.

Jayme spend his entire practice thinking about peter Parker and how cute that nerd was.

He was not his normal self during class anymore. Before he would joke and make the class fun and exciting. Now he doesn’t tel any jokes or stories and he goes by the guideline given to him by the dean.

Ana watched as her professor became a different person the students noticed and wondered what the hell was going on. The end of the semester came to s conclusion and so did her class with Mister Smith, “have a great summer professor...” she told him.

Jayme hopes Peter would call or text him, he really wanted to go on a date with peter.

‘You too. Stay safe Ana,’ he told her as he collected his things and walked to his motorcycle. He no longer smiled. The students all worried and tried asking if he was okay but he would tell them he is fine.

Peter sat on his bed for hours, trying to figure out what to send to Jayme. He kept typing and retyping a message to the older.

Ana hummed softly as she walked out to enjoy her summer, classes we’re done with and she still thought about the gorgeous man. She had to move on, after all he didn’t even like her enough to try to date.

Jayme sighed it was getting late and he figure he’d just go to sleep. Maybe he came on too strong .

He sighed as he got on his bike to head home and pack. He was going home for the summer and when he came back, he would have a couple new classes to teach alongside the ones he already has now.
