Roland let out a breath, hearing the numbers. How was this possible? He leaned back in his seat, trying to process this new information. He silent for several moments before his eyes met her gaze again. "It is crazy and unbelievable," he told her. "But somehow, I believe you." He rubbed at his temple, all of this was starting to give him a headache. "What is it like?" He asked several moments later. He couldn't even begin to imagine what 1400 years in the future looked like.
Sarah blinked, startled at this information. "A princess? Theodore, I'm no princess." She was sure now that this would get her kicked out of the castle but she couldn't play at ancient political games. Even if she looked like one of these lost princesses he spoke of, she was sure she'd be recognized as an imposter in the blink of an eye. She knew nothing about the etiquette of a princess, she'd make a mistake and she could only imagine that the punishment for trying to impersonate royalty would be brutal.

Bernadette was relieved to hear that he believed her despite how crazy she must sound, letting out a breath that she didn't realize she'd been holding. "Thank you... Thank you, for trusting me. I know you don't have to, that you could just throw me in jail or something.." she shook her head a little to clear her thoughts away, looking at him again when he asked what it was like in her own time. "It's.. It's very different." She began, adjusting her dress a bit. "I don't even know how to explain it.. I never thought I'd be here, let alone with you, or have to try to explain what my time is like compared to yours.." she looked at him, hoping he understood. "May I ask.. What's going to happen to me now?"
Theodore shook his head as she denied it, letting out a sigh. "I know it must be strange, but it's true. Honestly, I don't know how any of this is possible, but the priests and historians have concluded that you are in fact the lost princess from thousands of years ago.. My guess is you have some sort of amnesia, that something has taken away your memories of that time and convinced you that you are not who you are." He explained, resting a comforting hand on her arm. "Don't worry, no harm will come to you while you are here, I'll make sure of it."
