The smile along Bailey's face grew as she watched Aiden shuffling over to her, seeing him still struggle with the sheet around his feet. It was heartwarming to watch him, to see the look on his face. Though soon Aiden was in front of her, cupping her face and Bailey leaned into him, laying her hands against his sides. Though, suddenly, she was lifted off of her feet and being spun around. A warm laugh left her as she grabbed onto him tightly. Before she knew it, his lips were against hers and Bailey reached up, lightly tugging on his collar to pull Aiden closer as she kissed him back.

As they pulled away, Bailey looked to Aiden. Though her warm, loving eyes softened as Aiden started to express the fear he had had. She reached up and lightly brushed her thumb along the side of his face. And as he kissed her again, Bailey gently and sensually kissed him back. "You don't need to worry about that anymore," Bailey whispered to him. "I love you, Aiden. It just took me some time, and I am sorry that it seemed to stress you out." Aiden rested his forehead against hers gently, nuzzling his noses against hers as he held her close, fingers gently brushing against her side. He was relieved when she explained how she'd just needed time, and how she'd thought maybe his specialness had just been because he was a werewolf. "I love you so much, Bailey. Don't worry about not telling me, I'd rather you take forever to tell me you love me than to say it when you don't mean it." He murmured, nuzzling his nose against her cheek, peppering a few kisses along her jaw before pulling back with a little grin. "Can you help me fold this sheet? I don't want to trip again."

"Did it feel like forever?" Bailey teased him gently. She closed her eyes and hummed happily as he nuzzled his nose against her cheek. Another low hum as he kissed along her jaw. "And, just to be clear, it didn't take me that long from a human standpoint. It's just that you wolves know what you want immediately." She offered Aiden a small smile. Bailey knew he knew that she didn't mean to make Aiden wait so long. It was just the way things were.

A laugh left her lips and Bailey nodded to Aiden, "Yes, of course." With that, Bailey bent down and unwrapped the sheet from around his ankles. She then stood up with the sheet in her hands, folding it effortlessly before handing it to Aiden to put away.

Aiden grinned a little at her teasing, laughing as he nuzzled his nose into her neck before pulling back to look at her. "Hey, we don't always know what we want immediately. Sometimes it takes us a few hours to decide." He grinned, pressing a kiss to her forehead before he released her so that she could help him untangle the sheet from his legs.

He laughed a little as she so effortlessly folded the sheet, taking the sheet from her before pressing another quick kiss to her lips. "From now on, you're folding the sheets. Deal?" He grinned a bit before heading back over to the couch to finish folding their laundry. "What's for lunch, Bailey? I'm starving." He grinned, plopping down on the couch once the laundry was neatly folded and ready to be put away.

"Or maybe you should learn how to fold them," Bailey teased back at him. Though she didn't mind doing the laundry herself. Aiden would always help out with the chores and maybe laundry just needed to be her job and he could take on more kitchen issues. Bailey definitely wouldn't mind doing the dishes less.

With the floor swept, Bailey turned back to the lunch she was making for the both of them. She looked to the oven, glancing at the timer as Aiden mentioned that he was starving. "Only two more minutes until it is done." Bailey told him before glancing over at Aiden. "We are having Mariana meatball subs," Turning her attention back to the food, Bailey pulled out the bread, parmesan, chips and plates before taking the meatballs out of the oven. "It is done if you want to serve yourself." With that said, Bailey made her own plate and sat down. They had been very careful to avoid Bailey accidentally serving Aiden before they were ready.

Aiden scrunched up his nose in distaste as she suggested he learn how to properly fold a sheet, shaking his head quickly. "No no no. I'll fold all the other laundry, except the sheets. That seems fair to me." He pointed out before practically leaping over the couch when she finally said that food was ready, pressing a kiss to the top of her head as he eagerly grabbed himself a plate and piled it with foods.

"Thanks, Bails." He said as he sat down, wasting no time in taking a big bite out of his sandwich, humming in satisfaction. "Yum." He grinned, a bit of sauce on the corner of his lips as he looked over at her. He'd been extra careful to make sure that Bailey didn't serve him anything before they were ready to officially bond, because even though both of them wanted it, neither of them were ready for the chaos of emotions that would come with it. "You're a good cook. Do you think you'll come to pack dinner this week? Or are you going to stay here?" He asked. Usually about once a month his pack held a big dinner so everyone could hang out and get to know one another better, and with so many new members to his pack, he figured it'd be a good idea for everyone to get to know one another over a nice meal. "You don't have to, you know."

"You are welcome." Bailey told Aiden through her bites of food. She had also been rather hungry so the food really did come out at the right time. Though as Aiden started to ask her about the pack dinner, Bailey looked up at him and listened. The young woman glanced off to the side in thought, trying to figure out if she wanted to go to the pack dinner or not. She had only gone for one before, and it was actually rather nice...

Bailey took a moment to reach out and wipe the sauce on his corner with a napkin, wanting to slightly hide her hesitation. She knew he wanted her to go, and be park of the pack more. Aiden always gave her a choice but Bailey knew what he actually wanted. "I am hesitant to say yes." Bailey took him honestly after a moment. "I have been coming more and spending time with the old members, so I feel very comfortable coming and spending time with them... I would like to come see them. But the new pack members will be there? I know some of them very well too but I am unsure as to how they feel about me." Bailey was quiet for a moment before continuing on. "How are they faring? I haven't talked to any of them since... I just do not want the dinner to be uncomfortable. And I do not know if any of them are mad at me or blame me for what happened with Sandra and the others who left."

Aiden watched her carefully as he waited for her response, knowing that it would probably be a no. Not that he minded, he valued her comfort more than anything, but he also wanted to be able to show her off, to show his pack his mate. He nodded in understanding as she spoke, finishing the last few bites of his sandwich before speaking, giving her the time to ask her questions.

"Yes, the new pack members will be there.. or at least the ones that want to be, there's never a full turnout at these things anyway.. But you don't have anything to worry about as far as they go. They don't blame you at all. The ones that left with Sandra were the ones that agreed with her twisted ideology, and the ones that stayed and became a part of my pack we're glad to see her go. Yes, they've had to adjust to being part of my pack, but that doesn't mean they're anything like Sandra and the others." He promised her, reaching over to squeeze her hand gently. "You don't have to come if you don't want to, but everyone would want you there, so don't worry about that."

Bailey glanced off to the side as Aiden spoke. Everything that he said calmed her nerves about going. All Bailey was concerned about was the new members. They were people that she knew but Bailey didn't want to be in a position where they blamed her for what happened. But if everything that Aiden said was true, it seemed that she had little to worry about. And, Bailey was serious about becoming part of the group. Also, Bailey knew that Aiden wanted her to come.

Her eyes shifted back to his and a warm smile came over her lips. "Okay, I will come join you then," Bailey said as she leaned forward and pressed a gentle kiss against his forehead. Bailey then pulled back and started to pick up the plates to start putting everything away. "What should I bring?"

Aiden smiled widely as she finally agreed to join him, squeezing her hands as she kissed his forehead. "I promise everyone will be on their best behavior, Bails. And if at any point you want to go home, we'll leave and come right back here, I promise." He reassured her, pressing a kiss to her fingers as he stood to help her with the dishes.

He hummed in thought when she asked what she should bring, setting the plates he'd washed on the dish rack to dry as he turned to lean against the counter, looking at her while he thought. "Hmm.. Everyone really likes your brownies, so that's always a good option. But whatever is easiest for you, honestly. I doubt anyone will turn away anything you bring."

A light hum left Bailey as Aiden promised to keep everyone on their best behavior. She did appreciate it, but at this point, she was able to relax even when they weren't. Bailey just wanted to be able to avoid being apart of any more disasters or seeing them at their worst behavior. Though, wolves were still incredibly confusing to her so Bailey was not going to stop Aiden from trying to keep them at their best. "Thank you, love," Bailey purred lightly.

"Well, in that case, I will figure it out later. Though I don't think I'll bring brownies even though I am sure I'll hear some complaints with that decision." Bailey told him with a gentle laugh. Once the dishes were done, Bailey was quick to move into Aiden, wrapping her arms around his neck as she did so. "You wolves are so strange," She teased lightly.

"There's nothing to thank me for, my love." Aiden smiled, happily pulling her into his arms once the dishes were finished, his hands moving to rest on her waist, fingers brushing gently against the skin under the hem of her shirt. He was so incredibly in love with her, and was already planning on proposing to her in the next few days, so that way once they bonded they could also get married. He figured it might help her adjust, since most wolves who bonded considered that to be their marriage, but since she was human, he assumed she might also want to have that as well.

He pressed a kiss to her forehead and chuckled when she said that wolves were strange, shaking his head a little as he pulled her closer. "How so?"

Once Aiden's lips parted from her forehead, Bailey's body pressed into him more so before her head slowly laid down against his shoulder. Another light, pleasant hum left her as her fingers gently brushed against the back of his neck. "You just are," Bailey told him, a sweetness to her voice. "But, in a good way mostly. Bailey gently nuzzled into his neck. "I feel like humans have less rules but everything is just one big guessing game for us."

Aiden chuckled softly as she spoke, resting his head against hers as he gently brushed his fingers over her hair and down her back. "Not all wolves have great instincts. The younger ones tend to do more guessing than older ones. And Alphas are required to have at least decent instincts, so I'm sure if you were dating someone other than me, you might end up with more guessing." He teased, pressing another kiss to her head before he carefully leaned down to lift her into his arms, carrying her over to the couch. Once there he sat down with her in his lap, letting out a pleasant sigh as he sank back into the cushions with her.

"Thank you for lunch, it was delicious. You're amazing." He praised, nuzzling his nose against her jaw so that he could get the access he needed to kiss her neck, arms tightening around her.
