Sabrina sighed frustrated and pulled her hair back behind her ears as she stared at the cash register which was now echoing out a loud ringing sound. "Mark! Help!" She said turning to the other man behind the bar with her before adjusting her t-shirt. She didn't know why she had accepted to watch the bar for her friend Melanie- it seemed like a great idea to give her and her partner a date night at the time- but now Brina felt in over her head and wanted to just be back in her two bed apartment sipping a glass of wine in some sweat pants.

A bar like this would really not usually be her scene, maybe back in her college days, bug now she would much prefer a fancy cocktail bar uptown. "What do you want?" She asked, scanning the people standing at the bar. She didn't care enough to pay attention to who got their first, whoever's order she heard first would get poured first.

Logan had been away for awhile, he had made a run up north with his best friend, Ozzy. The roar of the engines on their bikes echoed through the night as they headed back towards Crystal Lake. The place was beautiful, and the town here was much different to big city life.

A small community built up a little ways away from the Lake proper. There was a minimal police force, who spent most of their time, breaking up bar fights, or burglaries. Any of the more violent, or intrusive crime was either done by a Ghost, or would be resolved by them. The Lone Ghosts, had their main compound just outside of town, to the south, and they usually kept to themselves.

After their long ride, Logan and Ozzy, felt like calling in for a drink. They pulled up outside the bar, and shut of their engines. A few troubled looks were directed their way, but Logan shrugged it off, pulling his jacket tighter around him. The patch glinting in the star light. The pair headed into the bar, noticing a mass of customers at the bar. Logan sat at the end of the bar quietly, and watched, as the brunette struggled with orders, while Ozzy headed into the bathroom.

After waiting for several long minutes, after she'd finally served everyone else; Logan reached over the bar, grabbed himself a mug, and poured himself a beer.

Sabrina finished pouring a beer and turned to hand it to the guy who had just ordered one and put the money in the till before glancing around for who needed to be served next. "Hey!" She called out, rushing down the bar towards some curly haired guy who was helping himself. "You can't do that" Sabrina told him sternly reaching out to take the mug from him.

Sabrina wasn't very aware of this part of town, or the Dynamics that worked within it. She wasnt aware that biker gangs ran the shots around here.

Logan looked up hearing the woman call out. He smiled softly, "relax, Ma'am, I was gonna pay for it," he said softly. He sat back down, "this is the only decent bar in town, wouldn't want to drive it out of business," he said softly.

He looked her over, "I was truly just trying to not bother you, you seemed to be struggling a tiny bit," he said.

Sabrina rolled her eyes at the man "yeah sure whatever, just wait your turn next time" she warned, extending her hand for his money. She sighed gently, wiping her hair back off her face as she waited for him.

"I don't usually work in bars, I'm doing a favour for a friend" she admitted softly, offering him a gentle smile as she got him his change from the till and handed it back. She hadn't meant to snap so much, but she really wasn't used to this. The guy was handsome. She wondered if he was here on a date.

Logan smirked softly, "What I was thirsty," he teased. He handed over a large bill, which would cover his and Ozzy's drinks for the night. "This should cover about ten beers, keep the change," he said softly.

He looked at her, "well that much was obvious, you look like a fish out of water behind there," he teased. He sipped his beer.

Another patron made his way to the bar, and started making rude comments, demanding to be served. Logan noticed and shot a look his way, "Oi asshole, shut up and wait, or leave," he yelled down the bar. The patron recognised Logan, and Ozzy, who had rejoined him at this point. He nodded sheepishly, "sorry guys," he said before moving back to his table.

Sabrina pouted softly, she didn't think she was that bad at what she was doing was she? She groaned softly as a guy started hurling her abuse from the other side of the bar. As she moved to take his order she heard the guy she had just been speaking to let out a shout that quited the guy right down. Bring glanced from one side of the bar to the other a little in awe.

She finished serving up everyone else standing there, gald when the crowd began to die down slowly. She poured herself a water and leaned back against the counter taking in a deep breath. She was still intrigued at who this guy's on the end of the bar were. The guy she had been talking to was incredibly handsome. She guessed they must come in here a lot and that's why that other guy listened to him. "Hey um, thanks for that earlier... There was no need" she thanked him sheepishly, placing two more beers in front of them. "That ones on me" she said.

Logan sat back, drinking with Ozzy. He kept looking over at this new woman, she was so beautiful, and not from around here.

"Why don't you just take a picture," teased Ozzy. Logan smacked him, "Shut up, dick," he said.

As the bar began quieting down, the pair remained sitting drinking slowly. Logan grinned as she came over, "thanks ma'am," he said softly. He thought for a moment, "my names Logan, and it seems you've learned to walk," he said.

Sabrina leaned against the counter before them smiling softly. "I'm Sabrina, you two come here a lot?" She asked them kindly, her brow furrowing slightly. "Learned to walk.. how do you mean?"she asked him with a small laugh, afraid she was making a fool out of herself.

Sabrina hated to be wrong or feel taken advantage of, it was one of her strong suits in her career. She worked as an events planner, specialising in weddings and corporate parties - and she was quite well known in her field.

Logan smirked, "just when we want a decent beer, the stuff at the club is shit," he admitted. He chuckled, "you my fish out of water, managed to grow legs behind the bar," he said softly. He was trying to compliment her, in his own stupid way.

He watched her, "so my guess, Sabrina, is that you are not from around here," he said.

Brina nodded slowly, assuming he meant some nearby nightclub. "Oh I get you.. yeah I guess I did a little bit" she said with a soft laugh, checking her watch and beginning to wipe down the counter where she was standing glancing up at the two men as they spoke.

"Your guess would be Correct Logan. I live in the city. Mel and I went to college together.. she's been working real hard on this place and I wanted to give her a night off." She explained, tossing the towel into the sink. "usually I'm the one bossing the bat staff around, not the one behind it" she added with a giggle.

There was something about this guy that just drew her in. He was alliring. And mysterious, but Sabrina couldn't put her finger on it.

Logan smiled, "well life out here is much more relaxed than in the city," he said softly.

"at least during the off season," Ozzy added.

Logan smiled and chuckled, "well, I suppose we should get out of here, it's about closing time by now right?" he said lightly. He moved down the bar slightly, "I hope to see you around some more Sabrina," he said softly.

As the pair turned to head for the door, their patches were much more obvious.

Sabrina smiled at the guy, paying his friend almost no attention. She shrugged gently "I don't know, I quite like the hustle and bustle of the city" she admitted with a gentle laugh, loading a tray of glasses in to the washer.

Sabrina glanced at her watch again when he mentioned it being near closing time and was shocked to see it was 12:30, she should've locked up an hour ago. "Well thanks for coming in you two, and thanks again for your uhh.. help?" She said raising an eyebrow with a puzzled laugh. She figured that's what she would call it. Her cheeks flushed as he told her he hoped to see her around some more. "You too Logan" she replied gently, looking down at her shows with a little laugh as they walked out. As she glanced back up she noticed the patches on the back of their jackets, her interest piqued.

"Mark, who are those guys?" She asked the other man behind the bar with her, her eyes still following their figures past the windows and in to the darkness.

Logan and Ozzy, headed out of the bar, and started up their bikes. They were tired, exhausted from the long ride, and night of merriment, and needed to get some sleep. The pair pulled out onto the road, heading up towards the club's compound.

Mark looked at Sabrina, as she asked who the guys were. He chuckled, "Just a couple of Ghosts, the nicest one's I've met," he said lightly. It took him a while to realise she was probably still confused, due to not being a local. "The Lone Ghosts, is a Motorcycle club, that operates from just outside of town, they generally keep to themselves, unless you give them a reason not to," he explained.

Sabrina's face went pale for a second as he told her they were ghost, before she left our a soft and confused laugh. "Ghost.. like c'mon Mark I'm not that gullible" she told him, slapping his arm with the tea towel.

"Oh wait you were serious" she commented with a laugh as she realised it's what they called themselves. "A club?" She asked with a raised eyebrow, reality setting in a little more- the patches, the leather jackets. "Mark do you mean a motorcycle gang?" She asked, her jaw dripping slightly in disbelief.

Mark watched her, he nodded gently. "Yeah, I suppose that's what they'd be called in a big city," he said lightly. He moved around the bar slightly, "But out here, they represent order, they make sure no one breaks any rules," he said lightly.

It was true, the Ghosts, weren't hassled by the small police department that was in town. They even kept most people in line. Mark smiled at Sabrina, "and those two, are some of the nicest ones, Logan is who they send around to check on all the businesses to see if we have any issues," he said lightly.

Sabrina ran her hand in to her hair a little awkwardly, trying to understand Mark. It didn't make sense to her that a gang would represent order- that just wasn't how it worked in her mind. She wondered if maybe Mark had been one of them, although she didn't want to ask.

She simply nodded and loaded the last tray of glasses I to the washer. "Well thanks for explaining" she commented kindly before gathering up her keys and things to Mel's apartment where she would spend the night.

Mark nodded softly, "sure thing, don't worry about them, they'll leave you alone," he said gently.

Logan and Ozzy finished their journey to the club house, and pulled in. Logan climbed off his bike, and headed inside to report on their run. One of the ways the club made money, was through weed. It wasn't legal in these parts yet, but the policy was looking to be changed. The Ghosts, usually ran their crop up north into the next state, for one of the dispensaries, and sold a small amount locally to those suffering from medical aliments.

Logan let their president know the trip was a success, and handed over the bundle of cash, from the sale. He smiled weakly, "I would really like a break, feel like riding for fun, not money," he said gently. The President nodded, "of course, see you in couple," he said. It wasn't an odd thing for Logan to take time off to ride.
