"I should probably go back to my place eventually to grab some clothes," Carrie mumbled. She really didn't have any clothes besides the ones she had worn at Matt's place with her.
Matt pulled away and rested his chin on top of her head, sighing contently. He wasn’t dumb, he knew Carrie didn’t feel the same way as he did, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t going to take advantage of the affection she was giving him.
Carrie leaned against Matt, humming softly to herself as she stopped crying. She hated that she still missed Zack especially when Matt was practically willing to give her the world to make her happy now that he had the chance.
Carrie stayed quiet, watching Matt’s body as it seemed to relax for the first time in what was probably ages. She quietly went up behind him and began tracing designs on his back, occasionally pressing her lips to his back as she did.
Matt sighed softly and finished washing up, reaching down and turning the water off. He turned to look at her, pecking her lips before pulling the curtain open.
Carrie followed Matt out of the shower, wrapping a towel around her body after she stepped out. “Do you want me to call Brian so you aren’t alone while I go grab some clothes?”
“I’ll be back in like fifteen minutes tops,” Carrie promised. She pulled her clothes on and gave Matt a peck on the lips before she walked downstairs. She text Brian she was going to grab clothes from her place before she got in her car and drove home.
